Kindred Spirits (Kezeroth)

Finally, we'd reached the bottom. And the first thing I felt when we exited was....pity. Seeing all the suffering people around, it felt like being among the slaves again. All of them begging and scoruging for what they could find. No wonder Courascant's image was only ever of the top. I could see the fear in them but I sensed even more in thier thoughts. I was understanable given Kezeroth's presence, but I didn't expect him to go as far as he did when he roar.

I stood back and covered my hears, huddling my head from the sudden explosion of noise that echoed all over. I didn't understand why until I saw everyone running and he withn a big toothy grin. It was all for fun. Was there really any point? Better to just let them beg and continue to want when there was nothing for them. I watched as the beggers all scambled before hearing him call for me to keep up.

I realized he'd hurried foward, meaning I needed to make a little jog just to catch up to him. My feet padded against the ground as I hurried, eventually reaching him only to see he was leading me further and further into the maze-like complex of the Undercity. Whatever awaited us I knew it was going to be something rough.

The Maze was like a City in itself, most called it the Lost City since it was mainly home to the ones who had been abandoned. From Droids to semi-sentient species the variety would not end. Kezeroth usally went over it literally with asistance of the Force but he had company. He would help Fenri in a way too by going through it. Infront of the Maze was a Dead Woman laying by the entry, she held a small droid that could of been the size of an infant once. Looking at her rugged cloths Kezeroth waved his hand at the collar on [member="Fenri"]'s neck and watched it fall off. The Metal hit the ground and the clang echoed throughout the maze of ally ways.

"Take the Clothes on that one... You will need it if you want to survive." he said pointing to the clothes on the dead woman. As he notied this Kezeroth stared at [member="Fenri"] and then crossed him arms. He would wait intill she took action to continue further. [member="Fenri"]

I wasn't sure how long we'd been walking but it felt like over an hour. There was no real sense of time down here, since the sun could barley be seen and its light didn't reach down far enough. I even had to look up now-and-then just to try and get some idea of where and when everything was. During all my looking around I'd almost bumped into Keze by the time he stopped.

I peeked from behind his hulking body to see the dead woman in front of the entrace to what seemed like another maze itself. She was cuddling a droid as if it were a child, making me wonder if she'd gone mad in her last moments before dying. Then Keze turned to me and I backed up, thinking he was going to try something hars and spontanuos on me. Instead he'd used the force and I felt the collar snap from my neck before falling to my feet. I looked down at it in amazement that it had finally come off. A new little sense of freedom in my gut.

However I didn't have time to celebrate before Keze told me to take the dead woman's clothes for my own. I was about to ask why before he'd already answered. Whatever we were about to go into I guess required more than wearing basically a bikini then. I sighed before walking over and pulling off each peice that I could from here. She didn't have much, not even any shoes. I managed to take her robe and shirt, wrapping it around myself before pulling the hood over my head to at least give me some covering. The whole thing was ratty and old and smelled of death. The woman had been laying her for some time.

I shivered a bit at the fact of putting on clothes from a fresh corpse before looking to Keze, giving him the hint I was ready to get this over with.

In Kezeroths mind he could barely bare being at the enterance without causing destruction it was always a uphill struggle to not kill or destroy something. He was not just Angry but he was Insane. He was a Weapon, He was grown to be a weapon and thought as one. He Very Complex at the most, A Brute yes but very consealed and hidden in his Goals. He was a Fanatic and worshiper of Death and the Darkside because those means freed him as a Slave. The Massive Gen'Dai let his arms dangle and made a fist as he stared into the maze. He needed a connection a sign he needed something.

Looking back he said.
" Follow the Screams and remember Discomfort is your greatest ally." With that said Kezeroth Dashed off in the Allyways.

Loud crashes and bangs sounded, the cries of the innocent sounded and sparks of Light came now and then. He was Clearing a Path and testing Fenri's mind. Kezeroth grew up in the Underworld and he learned to survive in it by killing. Though he was Crazy at the start it greatly affected how he thought about the Galaxies. His lover was the Darkside and he obeyed every command. If what Kezeroth did brought a Great Discomfort to those around him he was doing right. His philosophy was that pain, agony, fear and discomfort could be turned into anything the user valued if they saw it fit and only embraced it. But that was an end goal the first step was to take it Discomfort...
Thorough out the maze the Slave girl would find Death and the Darksides dark comfort by her side. She would need a focus and will to get through.

I stood there confused when he told me to "follow the screams" and let discomfort be my ally. I didn't even have time to ask before he dashed off into the alleys and, from what I could hear, began to tear through everything and everyone he came into contact with before sparks of lighting could be seen. I couldn't believe what he was doing. All of this for what? Just to test me? Just to see if I could make it to him? If I had any real sense I would've turned around then and there.

But I couldn't. There was something driving me to seek him out. Something that begged me to keep going. I think, if I had to guess, it was his power. A part of me wanted power like that. The power to make people bend and scream if I wanted. But maybe not for the same reasons as Keze. I still didn't fully know. In any case I knew I had to start now while there was still a chance. With my first slow step into the alley the others soon followed faster as I followed him deeper into the complex.

I could feel the remains of Keze's rampage all over the place. Both in the force and just in the air itself. I could see things that were crushed and toppled and other things that had been bent out of place thanks to his strength and size. It felt like I was walking through a crime scene, and then further ahead I realized how true that was. There were dead remains scattered about. All dead from horror or shock or from whatever horrible powers Keze had used on them. I'd never seen so many dead before. It hit be pretty hard. It did tell me I was going the right way though.

Further I followed and the whole time I could sense the darker power within Keze with every body and broken peice of alleyway he left. I felt like a wild animal was loose and I had to find it, but not stop it. In fact, thinking on it, that was one of the best ways to describe Keze. A wild animal with an agenda. I wondered what that agenda would hold for me once I found him.

Scream after Scream after Scream, it didnt stop till minutes later. He was quite abit ahead of her, though their was a trail of blood. His Augmented strength afforded him too much, those hit hit looked like they had been blown up or ripped apart. He Traveled in Large Leaps and landed about in a thrashing manner, Atop of Dumpsters and other Metal objects. He climbed the walls of the allyways and dropped his victims from a height. Kezeroth Fed the Darkness and the Darkness Fed him. It was a Partnership of sorts that benefited both users or thats how Kezeroth saw it atleast.

Finally he reached a Dead end, except it wasm't one the wall was false and it moved. It looked like bricks but was made of metal. Entering in Kezeroth roared announcing that he was home, The pit was a large flat open area with a abandoned building to the side. The area was riddled with sharp metal support beams and hazaardous to thoise that did not watch their step. Looking back Kezeroth waited for [member="Fenri"] to come through and figure the False Wall out. He figured it would be enough time to meditate too so Kezeroth closed his eyes where he stood and took in his environment.

More crashing and screaming. Was Keze even trying to hide from me? Not to mention his dark power had resonated everywhere, like a bad stencth he left behind. The trail of blood. The broken bodies. Everything was just one destructive game to him. Yet he kept me alive. Why? Was it for fun or did he have something else in mind for me? I couldn't be sure but it was too late to turn back now. I was far too deep into it and was going further and further as I kept progressing into the maze of alleys.

Eventually I'd come to it. A dead end. How? How did Keze just up and stop here? There was no way he could've gotten away without causing some sort of damage. I looked around before calling out "Where are you?" thinking he was playing a game with me. There had to be more to this. He wouldn't just lead me here to adandon me.

As I looked around, trying to think on what to do next, I felt something. The darkness. I felt it coming through all over like some resonating energy left behind. He was here. He was still here. But where? It took a minute for me to look before figuring it out more. He didn't dissapear. He just went through the wall.

I padded around, trying to find whatever secret lock or knob there was to it. At one point I was getting fed up to where I would've pushed it down with the force. Thankfully I'd found the mechanism and the hidden door slid open, revealing the place where Keze had been hiding. I walked in only to see him sitting there and waiting for me. What was he playing at now?

"Well? I made it." I called over to him as I stepped into the area. "Now what?"

[member="Kezeroth the Hateful"]

The Gen'Dai did not respond nor did he get a response from the Darkside. His body twitched and he grew annoyed again, he was unsure what to do with [member="Fenri"]. It was obvious she had a linked purpose that involved. He could of spent the rest of his life meditating and pondering what her purpose was but at the that moment he opened his eyes and said in response " Well What?" His voice slightly annoyed. " You found me, That means you were meant to be here. I gave you Freedom... Or did I? he asked himself and chuclked. The Pit had bodies of Sith Acolytes in the corners they had torn cloths and were rotting in a pile. " Do you smell it? the Stench of Dead Sith?!" Kezeroth loved the smell even though he had no lungs.

Looking at [member="Fenri"] he sensed some confusion but wanted to hear what she had to say it anything.

What was the deal with this guy? Now he took me into what I thought was his home, or maybe this was some sort of hideout for him where he enjoyed taking his ne snacks. But why me? Why show me all of this? The smell of the dead did linger in the air before I could see what was left of all those he'd slain. I could see bloddy rags and what was left of body parts torn from the whole. I was almost about to gag had it not been for Keze standing there and expecting to hear my reaction.

Looking to him I tried keeping a brave face while saying "I'm not a Sith, if that's what you think. And if you expect to eat me or something, then I'm not going down without a fight! I'll make you choke on my bones if I have to!"

I'll be honest, I didn't think I had that in me. Lot of tough talk though coming from a skinny little clone girl up against an eight foot tall hulking beast. Man was I probably dead then and there at this point.

[member="Kezeroth the Hateful"]

The Girl had spunk and had a deep anger, he had to admit that. " I Feed the Darkness and the Darkness feeds me!" He stood to his feet and bared his teeth to her in a snarl. He drew no blade on slowly made himself into a stance like he was ready to pounce on her like he did that others in the ally. " Talk is cheap, Show me your power!" he hissed and stepped forward some. Was [member="Fenri"] aware of her Force Abilities or was she lost?

" Well?!"

The Gen'Dai had so many questions in his mind he could hardly focus on the task at hand, Pain was needed. Charging Forward Kezeroth roared and raised his fist in the air, once close he would throw it down. His hits with his bare hands was comparable to getting hit with a metal bat and would cause [member="Fenri"] to fly quite a distance if hit.

Oh great. Now'd I'd done it. I picked a fight and now I got it. I just wish it was with someone a lot smaller. But now I had no choice. Given my options and what I had avaliable, which was close to nothing, I realized I had the shot end of the stick here. Just as he'd made himself ready so did I. I took what stance I could, my right arm out in a fist with my other close to my chest. Oh boy, did I feel like I was a dead clone walking.

He charged and I was suprised by how fast he was. I only had one chance and went for it. When he stood ready to punch me I dove between his leg and rolled to the other side. Now that I was behind him it was time to put these force abilites of mine to work. I took a step back and waited until he turned before sending a heavy force push right into his face. I wasn't sure how well he'd take it but I tried using that oppertunity to land some punches into his chest. I realize it was a dumb move but I had to try something!

[member="Kezeroth the Hateful"]

Charging in Kezeroth was surpirised to see [member="Fenri"] dodge and land behind him. Turning his massive body around Kezeorth was met with a Force Push that sent him sliding across the flooring of the 'Pit'. All of Kezeroths ponders faded and he smiled some as she attacked at his chest Kezeroth extended his hand and returned the favor by releasing a Force Push that was of Equal strength but aimed at her legs. " I Suspected as much.. Your Gifted with the Force! But you seem to lack training. Oh how you would fend well as a trained Force user.. Tell me Why did you choose to follow me! Tell me!" Her response would determine his action, If it was of his liking she would be rewarded in a manner of his view.

In Kezeroths Days he had seen many Force users but [member="Fenri"] was slightly different, she was naturally gifted with the force a rare connection to have. She was not alone with that though Kezeroth himself had one as well but his was forged through the years as a slave and brought to life in the moment of his calling. The Gen'Dais smile grew bigger it seem it had much plan and add on to.

Should've known better than to try punching a big flesh tank like Keze. His force push took the legs out from under me, making me hit the ground with my stomach and chin. Of course it hurt, what else would it do? I groaned from that, feeling how sore my chin was now, before he started spouting about my use with the force and the lack of training. I had training, just not the best. The ones who had taught me only gave me a quick servy of how and what to do. They were more concerned with me knowing how to handel a saber instead.

I stood and answered "Follow you? How could I not? I mean first you free me and then you kill all those slaves. Then you make me chase you around to here while killing a bunch of other people, and for what? Are you testing me or something? Do you want to see if I'm worthy? Am I a slave or a student now? Huh? Why don't you tell me that?"

[member="Kezeroth the Hateful"]

The Gen'Dai placed his hands on his hips and chuckled she finally was expressing her opinion and giving into her felt emotions. He listened and paused thinking on his response, in Truth he tested everyone he was not sure why but it was a nature he picked up form his past. " The Strong attract the strong little one. Discomfort, Pain and your emotions are powerful. The Maze was full of the weak. Even if the Darkside willed them to live they would not change their life style, They let their Emotations rule them without mind! Discomfort affords Discipline, Pain releases Emotion. Emotion properly expressed is freedom." he growled and shook his head, his face showed a range of feelings as he spoke. " In truth I.. Do not know why you are still here, I am the Embodiement of Darkness yet things still hang out of my grasp.." He slammed his Fist into a Metal beam causing it to bend.

" Saverok!! SHOW YOUR COWARDLY SELF YOU KARKING OLD MAN!" he screamed for his mentor to show, though he guessed it would be confusing for the girl. Kezeroth looked around to the dark corners of the pit he knew Saverok was here but where?

The strong attract the strong? Interesting phrase the more I thought about it. But I never thought I was strong, at least not that strong. I mean look at me, a skinny little nobody who's a clone of a few somebodies that are long gone now. Sure I had the Force but I barley knew how to use it. And then his talk of how all those he killed were weak and the dark side would not charge thier lives. For a guy who didn't like Sith he sure did have a lot of faith in the dark side. Made me wonder...

But then the next thing I knew he bunched one of the bars in the room before calling out for someone named Saverok. It took me a moment to figure but I began to surmize that this Saverok was the Master Keze had talked about before. If he was here I was a little more worried now. The guy who taught this thing was around here and likey had more test or the like in mind to see if I was worthy. I'd taken a few steps back as a percaution of seeing this guy in full.

Out on the other end of the 'Pit' A large Figure the same size as Kezeroth appeared, He was exactly the same size too but caried himself differently. Wearing a very large robe that covered his body and a suit of Traditional Gen'Dai Armor. His eyes where grey and his face was the face as Kezeroths, it was if they were twins. THe only differences was that Kezeroth was corrupted but the Darkside and his body was mostly mutated and Saverok showed no sign of that. Walking forward Saverok's lightsaber hilt rattled on his belt and he eyed Kezeroth then changed his gaze to the Slave girl who he had brought.

Kezeroth stepped forward and nodded to Saverok after a series of serious looking snarls.

" Shut your mouth, Kezeroth! You know I am Always around the Pit." He snapped at Kezeroth and then turned his attention to the girl. " Who is this?"

I'd sensed him before seeing him. Finally turning to the other end I realized how we weren't alone. The one called Saverok had finally apperead, making me understand how he was Keze's master. He looked it. The large robes that manage to keep his whole body concealed and the more gruff and toughened look on his face made it clear he'd been through more than Keze was.

I watched as the two approched before Keze gave him a bunch of snarls and nods. I thought maybe that was how his species communicated, but maybe not. At least not after the response Saverok gave to him before questioning about me. Still it felt weird to see Keze being talked down to after all the stuff he'd done ealier.

I finally answered as boldly as I could "I'm Fenri. I'm....his." I indicated Keze, not bringing myself to call that I was Keze's slave or servant.

[member="Kezeroth the Hateful"]

" Fenri?" he questioned the name and walked back to his corner he gave no more words and only shook his head. As he turned away Kezeroth shouted " The Darkside spoke, I obeyed.. She is alive because of this.." Kezeroth walked after Saverok and mentioned multiple words to his hear but made sure Fenri would not be able to understand. Saveroks eyes glanced back at the girl and he chuckled at Kezeroths comment. " Then Train her..." he stated and looked back at her.

Kezeroth stood still after Saverok said to train her, He was not too sure you would just yet. Turning around Kezeroth looked at a Large metal beam on the ground, pointing to it he shouted " Lift it!" at @Fenri. The Beam was thick and would be very hard to lift with physical means.

" You will learn Discipline..." hem uttered.

I could almost feel the tension coming from the two as they talked. Apparenlty Saverok wasn't one to be ticked off about little things like taking in some random girl. But because the dark side had called Keze to do it, apparenlty that was enough cause to call for me to be trained now. If I was going to be trained in the same way Keze was I knew I had one major disadvantage: I wasn't as big or tall as him.

This was made more clear when he told me to lift the bar. I looked at it, knowing how heavy it was just by the sight of it, before looking back to him when he told me I'd learn discipline. I glared at him for that remark. I wasn't the type to break so easily, not even by him. I dealt with being handled by slavers my whole life, I could take a few punishments now-and-then.

Instead of using my hands I figured he wanted me to try with the force. Turning from Keze I rubbed my hands together before holding them out and trying to focus. I tried thinking back to what was taught to me about the force. How I needed to let it flow through me and with it I could lift anything no matter the size. I just kept breathing to try and lift the bar, doing the same meditative thinking the Jedi taught me. Even then I could feel as the bar seemed to shake as I was making some sort of reaction.

[member="Kezeroth the Hateful"]

She had a foundation on the force but that was all, as she attempted Kezeroth examined her state. She was trying and in time she would be able to lift it, but time was not with Kezeroth he hated waiting. " Lift the Damn Beam, Girl.." Kezeroth was trained by very harsh means and verbal strikes was one he had picked up on. When he was a slave this is what they made him do, it was odd for him to see himself as the taskmaster even though he was obeying the Darksides call.

" You Pathetic Fool! Lift!" at this point Kezeroth was shouted at [member="Fenri"] and Saverok was trying to hold in his chuckle. Their theory on how to become strong was pain as they were Gen'Dai. If the slave survived the training then they would all know what her purpose was. As Kezeroth threatened Saverok said lightly " Focus..." light encouragement from the one who didn't pay her any attention.
