Word traveled fast, it traveled among the holonet like wild fire reaching the world of zeltros quickly and spread among the people in a wave of worry. Reaching even the ears of stardust as she sat there in disbelief...hands resting under her clan before she covered her face and took a deep breath

y...your majesty

A servant spoke, causing stardust to look up

what is it

The man stepped forward to her desk and cleared his throat, he was very nervous currently and stardust knew why

theres...thwred a crowd gathered outside they seem rather...upset..you know with-

yeah yeah yeah...with my ties...lock the palace down make sure everyone is safe....I...dont know what to say...to them

The man nodded, doors were locked and windows closed as the palace went into lock down mode, stardust herself was setting there unsure of what to do or even know if this was the truth at all it worried her greatly

Kat had never been to Zeltros, it was a somewhat exciting visit to the planet. There was mention of it being a mission, nothing too dangerous, at least that was what she had been told but ever since her sister got into the diplomacy stuff, Kat was somewhat curious about that side of things too. With this being her first real chance to give a chance. There had been warnings that Zeltros can mess with your head and lower your inhibitions but Kat wasn't too worried, it likely wasn't as bad as people said! It took several hours to get to the planet and then there was finding a place to dock the ship. Since the Silver Jedi Order added Zeltros to its ranks, the place had become popular with soldiers finding solace there and able to relax after battles. Which was fair, wars could be tough mentally so finding somewhere that one could relax the mind was crucial.

Walking through the streets, Kat could feel the effects of the place beginning to affect her mind, she was already getting distracted by the ideas of going to a cantina and chatting with some of the people there. Sometimes her mind would think of things to do that were not chatting, this would cause her to shake her head and focus. There was a mission and Kat needed to do it, she wanted to prove that she could be trusted with these types of missions. Josh could cast quite the shadow, he was her Master but also the Master of the Order and a former Grand Master. It was a big deal having him being her Master, even if he did have a number of Padawans at any one time. Didn't stop Kat wanting to prove that she could be the best or give it her best.

Walking up to the palace where Stardust live, she saw several protesters and people wanting her removed as their leader. For Zeltrons it was odd to seem them so vocal and angered, they must be really riled since the pheromones of Zeltros made it hard to stay angry. Even her anger at Mandalorians attempting to start a war with the Order, especially after they destroyed her home, was fading away to nothing. Moving closer to the door, guards stopped her progress. "I am Kat Decoria, I am here as a representative of the Silver Jedi Order to discuss matters with Stardust, your queen. Please inform her of my presence." Kat stated in a neutral tone and gave a small smile at the end.

Darben Skirae had been within the palace walls when it reached him. He was watching from a window high above, watching the crowd begin to gather. He had heard about it as well. The incident of Umbara, and everything between the Mandalorians and the Silver Jedi Order. All the dealings. All the conflicts they were involved with. Pitted against each other...and he was torn between both. His wife, his queen was of Mandalorian descent. Raised by them. While she also hoped to help the Silver Jedi Order, he was obligated to help with them through Commenor. They had taken Commenor, protected it while the Mandalorians had not joined the fighting.

Darben had no idea what to do about it all. He stepped away as the window closed, before walking off to find his wife. Finding her at her desk. "It is getting bad out there. We need to go to the safe room, call for some help to calm some things down..." There was much more he wanted to say. He dared not say it. "We need to wait this out, maybe people will come to our aid....or we can assure our people."

Stardust looked up to darben, her expression was of tiredness and stress, her eyes casted back downwards as she shook her head in disagreement before taking a deep breath and sat up a bit

no...I've done that for too long, hiding and running im tired of it darben...im... I'm tired

She wasnt sure what she was tired of... covering her face she wiped her eyes and stood as she walked to a window, even if she could look outside she felt everyone out there. Sensing their anger and confusion while all she did was hide

why can't I find the strength to head out there...its because I dont know what to say.....what do I say darben? That I dont know?

She put a hand on the window and sighed

dont know...what to do...

The servant came in, out of breath from running quickly to her

maam, a jedi is here, she wishes to speak with you

She could sense the crowd outside quieting a little bit, stardust herself looked to the servant and nodded

well, go let her in! I had expected them to come..and I will face what they bring

With that the servant would run back to the door, stopping to catch his breath and gather himself before opening the doors

come with me maam, queen Skirae will see you

He moved opening the door open for her

Kat waited patiently as someone went to inform the queen of her presence, looking over to the crowd, Kat hoped that the presence of a Jedi would help ease the tension and ensure that things are kept peaceful. The Order always tried to provide support to those that needed their help and ensure that peace was achieved. She turned over to the man that informed her that the queen was ready to meet her. "Call me Kat, ma'am is so serious." She smiled to the servant that spoke to her, she also felt like ma'am aged her about ten years which was something she did not want to happen.

Walking with the servant, she looked around the castle, if she didn't have the privilege of visiting the Echani queen's palace not too long ago, this would have certainly been somewhat impressive. Kat didn't grow up in a wealthy family but they did rise in terms of class when her sister and brothers became significant members of the government. Wandering into the main room, Kat noted that there was Stardust, a green Twi'lek that was the queen and what must be her husband if her intel was correct. Kat gave a short bow to each with a warm smile.

"Greetings to both of you, pleasure to see you both." Kat said in a diplomatic tone, she wanted to be careful not to be overly friendly but not be cold and distant. "It is unfortunate that we are meeting in these complicated times. However, I was requested to be here to speak with you about the recent Mandalorian incident. Things are still undergoing on Umbara, we cannot confirm or deny that this is the work of the Mandalorian Empire or an outcast clan. Obviously, being close to the Mandalorian Empire border it is assumed to be initially the Empire doing another attack on Umbara, hence the civil unrest here I am guessing?" Kat queried as she was surprised with the unrest that some of the people felt towards Stardust.

Looking over to the man then back to Stardust, "I am here to enquire about your position with the Mandalorian Empire, the Silver Jedi Order and whether or not you still have ties to the Empire? We just want to make sure that Zeltros is safe, the Order has appreciated your ruling of Zeltros but these are complex times with people torn between duty and family. If you wish to rejoin the Mandalorian Empire, we can provide safe transport there, if you wish to remain here then we should figure out the best way to move forward and settle the public unrest." Kat stated in a formal manner.

Darben Skirae had heard that right, hadn't he? Someone was coming to help them, after all? Or at least see them. And a Jedi, nonetheless. He was in agreement with Stardust to let them in. Meanwhile he chose to consul his wife. "Then we won't hide. We will meet them, we will speak to them. Push for their needs more, help them. Just as we have always done" he put a hand on her shoulder. A sign that he would assure her, that he would always be there by her. "We assure them that we are on their side. Here for them. No others."

Soon, the Jedi arrived. Introducing herself to them as a means of aid, a way to help them. If they manage to explain their own situation, that is, as well as their standing. "We stand by Zeltros, that is where we stand." Of course he was speaking for himself here. He looked to his wife, as if asking for her own standing in it all. No matter what, he stood by her side through it all. "That is what the unrest is for, yes. Or so we believe."

She put a hand on the desk, her stress was apparent on her face as she glance over to her husband listening as she offered a small smile and moved her hand to his as she took a breath nodding

your right...this is something I knew would happen and I should've taken care of years ago...but I know what I must do now

The jedi arrived, stardust looked over to her standing and bowed back

these times are trying, mmm...truely something I havent seen since the days of the one Sith

Stardust paused to listen again, closing her eyes she let a heavy breath out bowing her head she let a prayer be told within her head and asked for forgiveness from some people before she looked up and stepped forward

the silver jedi order I am nothing but a politician within its vast territories...for the mandalore empire I am a battle master, i earned it by bringing to justice slavers and traitors

The memory came to her of that meeting...that was a entire mess in itself. But that wasnt what she needed to focus on

I have several ties, i will not lie about them either, I'm married to the leader of clan Solus and have been adopted into the mand'alors clan

Another pause, stardust tired eyes casted down as she thought over the decision, glancing to her husband she nodded and looked forward

however, above it all, I am queen, i understand their confusion and anger out there...I've been honest about being a mandalorian to these people

With that stardust sighed

I'm just as confused why they'd attack...if it was them...theyd of told me about it well before anything

Stardust was facing the reality of everything she had ignored, facing it with courage and confidence

Kat listened to both people and nodded her head slowly, it was interesting to see what they had to say. The male had stated that they wished to stay on Zeltros, which was good to hear but Stardust stated things that Kat could see being concerns for the Order. It was hard to be a person of two worlds, one of Kat's closest friends was a Mandalorian. She hadn't been in touch for awhile but she hoped that her friend was safe, that everything at Umbara was a misunderstanding otherwise things could go downhill quickly.

Looking over to Stardust, Kat carefully consider her words as she thought on the best way to approach this conversation. "Right, so it is suspected that the Mandalorians attacking Umbara are taking slaves and using hostages. It was the last thing I heard before I got here." Kat stated, as she looked to both of them. "I don't think you have to be a politician within the Silver Jedi Order, if you want to do more then you can your highness. We aren't looking to keep you queen here if you want to do more, our intentions aren't to make you feel like you can't contribute in battle, or wherever you wish to partake." Kat stated.

Shaking her head, "I think they are just worried about being next that you can't keep them safe if the Mandalorians are attacking the civilians for no reason." Kat suggested, "maybe, if we can reassure them that they will be safe. That you are still part of the Silver Jedi Order, no matter your past or family and that we work with you to protect Zeltros from any attacks." Kat offered, unsure if Stardust wants SJO support.

Darben was not sure what to feel for his wife, upon hearing so. However, he had excepted it all. Stardust was loyal to those that helped her. And while he held no ill will towards the Mandalorians, he held no good will either. It was...neutral. Then again, he barely even knew any of them save for those of Solus. When he heard what Kat had to say, his view went down slightly more. Hostages and slaves? Darben looked to Stardust, partially in disbelief. They wouldn't, would they? Kat continued to speak, of offering support. If Stardust could reassure her people. He saw where this was going, already. He remained quiet till Kat was done, before speaking his piece.

"I want to say that we will need Silver Jedi support..." He dared to glance to his wife. What would she even think of that? "What I hear of this news on Umbara is troubling. Yet, perhaps Stardust can sort things out with them. Once it is done, get to the bottom of it...but she knows this will be dangerous." That last part was not a statement. It was more a question, directed to Stardust. She knew it was dangerous, right?

The man then continued on, "We will address the people, together. As their leaders, they will need both of us. Thank you...what is your name?" He asked, realizing he didn't know her name.

Her eyes went wide, then anger began to well up as she stood then relaxed letting a breath out...no this definitely couldn't be the ones she knew as vod...

let me tell you something, I've fought alongside clan Cadera and its alor...they have a hate for slavers that rivals even my own hate for them. So either it's some rogue group or I truly didnt know my people at all

This was troubling to hear, stardust put a hand on the desk to calm herself reminding herself that she had to remain professional even through the anger

I've already been to battle with the jedi, I helped recently free some slaves and even put a few slavers in hell, I know I can go out and help...and I'm always willing to do so whenever they need my skills in battle

Stardust was a warrior after all, through her teen years till know that's been her life besides her husband and daughters. Sighing she opened a window to look out as she listened to darben and Kat speak

I'm part of the silver jedi, I'm part of these people and ot is my duty first and foremost to insure to them they are safe and protected. I will take any support you wish to give to me

The door did not make a sound as she walked in to the room. Darben and Star talking some Jedi no undoubtedly sticking a nose in where it did not belong. She over heard just a snippet of the conversation. Cynthia made her footsteps more apparent as she approached closer. "Umbra was done by Dar'manda, it would not surprise me if those people claiming to be clan Cadera are on the CIS payroll. Either way I can assure you that It is not clan Cadera that is attacking Umbra. You are likely looking at the dar'manda's of Clan verd or clan Munin and even one of the other many splinter groups, they are known for doing attacks like this and pining it on the empire to make Mand'alor look bad to destabilise her position. Make sure your people know that and If you want me to prove that, then contract me and I'll gather you all the evidence to prove the Cadera's innocence." Cynthia said to the Jedi without a hello or even a introduction. The only thing the Jedi would pick up on was the Armor of a mandalorian.

Cynthia continued to walk past the Jedi releasing the glossy glare of the orange visor. She moved closer to star and lifted her Buy'ce off her head making sure the Jedi does not see her face in full. "Riduur..." She paused with a hushed and soft voice. "If you go down this path Star and the council finds out..." Her tone was weighted heavy with caution and worry. "I can only do so much to protect you." The woman would sit on the corner of the desk her eyes never leaving star. "You may be part of the silvers, but you are also part of the Mandalorian's too, more importantly you are part of Clan Solus."

"No matter your choice, We are one whether we are together or apart. That was our vows." Sliding off the desk Cynthia lent in kissing the top of stars head before sliding her buy'ce back on. "Haa'taylir gar Nusujii ner riduur. Ni kar'tayl gar darasuum." She turned around and began making her way for the door. "Darben." She said looking over her shoulder. "Look after her okay. If anything happens then you know how to contact me." With that Cynthia left for her ship to leave for Shili. The flight there would be a long and hard one for sure. At least she could focus on the contract a head.

Inhaling deeply, Kat did her best to hold her tongue. Her business here was exactly where it needed to be, the Mandalorian was risking a lot entering Silver Jedi space without permission, especially since when others had done it in the past, they normally tried to attack the Silver Jedi worlds. Also, this Mandalorian seemed to forget that Umbara had been attacked before by people under instruction of the Manda'lor, so to dismiss it being an attack by them this soon was reckless and ignorant. Though, Kat did think that it was likely not the Mandalorian Empire, they were ones for slaves. At least from what she knew of them, however, things can change especially when you are in the pocket of the Sith as the Mandalorian Empires so often found themselves to be in. "I'm sure not being at the battle of Eshan, losing Eshan to the Confederacy and previous failed attacks on Silver Jedi worlds has been enough to destabilise her position as Manda'lor. At least for some I am sure it has been." Kat stated in a cool tone to the Mandalorian, being as careful as she could not to lash out. "Our people have always been careful when it comes to Mandalorians, we can figure this out on our own. We know it isn't the Confederacy, they don't need to have people attack us to end your empire. Anyway, your people have attacked Umbara before now, wouldn't be surprising if you tried to do it again then backtracked. It is a trend of your Manda'lor, backpedalling when things go wrong."

The treatment of the Mandalorian deserved the harshness that Kat gave with her words. If they had been more polite then Kat would have held her tongue and allowed the Mandalorian to say her piece, however rudely interrupting a meeting and dismissively talking to Kat as if she wasn't in the room was something Kat could not ignore. When the Mandalorian left, Kat relaxed. The memories of Eshan still haunted the young woman, she was not sure she could ever forgive the Mandalorians for destroying the beauty of her world. It was hard, however, she knew they weren't all bad. One she met on Eshan had been honourable in his way. "Ahem, well, if you want to proceed, we could discuss how we want to talk to our people. I suggest openness, honesty and giving them reassurances. If there is anything you need from the SJO in terms of resources to let me know, I will send word to the Assembly and have them brought here as soon as possible. We can provide safety bunkers, defences and more." Kat felt her cheeks warm as her emotions were still high from seeing the Mandalorian.

Darben Skirae held his breath as Stardust let it out, her feelings for the Mandalorians. He knew that was going to come up, sooner or later here. The whole time, the man kept his mouth shut as his wife let it out. Once she was done, he put an arm around her to reassure her of his presence. Her hand settled to the desk and he took this opportunity to let her know, that he supported her either way...that was when he thought things would get tense. A Mandalorian, one he also held dear to some aspect came in. Addressing Stardust, and he felt a bit put off by how he received no greeting. Simply frowning at it all.

The Jedi spoke of Eshan, that was when he knew that he would need to step in. "The Confederacy is allies to the Silver Jedi Order, they would not dare shatter the peace." But while he said that, he turned from Cynthia and to the Jedi. "And while that may be true, it is not all Mandalorians. And every can admit that something seems off on all of this. For one thing, my wife knows nothing of this." Here he was, trying to keep things from boiling over. Perhaps it was not necessary. Perhaps it was. He made no response to the Mandalorian, for he made it his responsibility always to look out for Stardust. He turned to the Jedi. "For the record, it is 'our' people. Not the Silver Jedi's. We manage these people, you safeguard us...but yes, we must discuss this..."

Had he gotten a little heated over all of this? Yes. Yes he had. "There will be no retreating from speaking with them. No fleeing. The queen has spoken. These people are our duty."

Cynthia entered, star froze and merely listened as she closed her eyes letting a breath out as she felt the kiss on her forehead...not a word spoke to cynthia for if she did she would risk everything. A tear went down her face but dried itself with her force powers as she stood and looked the jedi in the eye

as my husband said, these are mine and his people, they've entrusted us with their well being not the jedis....however your help will be accepted on the conditions you do not meddle with our politics

A fierce and defensive stance, but in these times you needed to be that t show you wrrent one to tell over and take it because you were weak...merely you werent stupid and knew you needed help

no running, no more hiding, I will go out there and answer my people with the truth and nothing less. Darben, let us face this

She held out her hand to him and stood her full 6 and a half feet height, renewed vigor and fire within her soul....she would see those that have done this dead...one day...one day.

Kat looked at Stardust and her husband, seemed they had quickly turned on her. Boldly stating that these people were theirs and not the Silver Jedi's. Kat didn't find herself intimidated by the taller woman, she needed to make sure she kept her cool. "I meant ours as in both yours and the Silver Jedi Order's. We are trying to work with you, Zeltros and its people is ours to protect and ensure that everyone feels safe and secure. You requested our aid, not the other way round. We are not looking to remove you or meddle in your politics as long as you don't give us reason to do so your Highness."

She was not threatening Stardust but reaffirming that the Silver Jedi Order were in control and that it was as much their world as it was hers. They were looking to work together, not fight over Zeltros. "I am here to help you with this and provide aid, that is all I have offered." Kat stated as she looked at both of them. "It is my duty as part of the SJO to keep the citizens safe too, we are here to look after every world under our care and its people."

Kat stepped aside to allow the queen to lead the way, this was her duty and Kat respected that it was her people but she wasn't the only one in charge of these people, Kat was too as a representative of the SJO.

Darben Skirae sighed slightly as he thought over the next step. This was getting to quite a tense point. Since the Mandalorian had arrived to this meeting, Darben could just tell. "Right...yes, ours. Both of ours. You do protect us, and we thank you for this...I am sorry for this meeting to have gotten to this point, I had not meant for it to get here. But we are all on the same side. We are all here to help the people of Zeltros" Darben attempted to assure them. However, a decision was indeed reached. To address the people outside. With a nod, he too went with the pair to address all of them.

Gesturing forth to a balcony, pushing the door open for them to go through. Outside, down below was their crowd. "Stardust...if you may?" He asked to her. She was the queen here. It was her right to speak first, and he would support. While he stood, he gave Kat a thankful look. "You have aided us here, and we are both thankful...I apologize for the tense moment back there."
