Having passion for what you write and warfare are two different things. I'd rather see battles be more akin to card games such as Magic where its you against another person but you both love the game snd respect the other player.

Otherwise its us v them mentality that make for poor threads.

Per the announcement post, they're like an invasion, but over a neutral hex no one owns, but which is adjacent to the territory of two major factions. So whoever wins gains an extra hex, loser doesn't lose anything (except pride, I suppose) since it was a hex nobody owned in the first place.


So yeah, what you said. And it seems it's closed to people who don't belong to either of the two competing factions.

Diplomacy threads are only used to cheat mergers/recalls and nothing else, axe them.

People use Mandates still, keep them.

You didn't even add Conquests to the Rules bar, axe them.

There has never been a single Flashpoint since they were announced, axe them.

Better yet, just remove Dominions since certain people like to sithpost in them up to three times a month and call that 'effort'.
