Sasha Santhe

Majority Share Holder, Santhe Corporation
Sasha waited outside the office of [member="Ayden Cater"]. Personally she preferred a less formal setting for meetings but [member="Jared Ovmar"] had insisted. He was always such a wet hen. Sasha let out a little sigh as she stood up and stretched smiling a little at the receptionist. She gave him a little wink and shy smile smirking inwardly as he blushed. "I don't suppose you can get me a drink can you? Something chemically non offensive of course?" Smiling the intern nodded and walked off returning with a glass of water. The trip had been long, and she had said as much. "Dries out the throat. Its the recycled air you see. I will make a better life support unit first thing when I get back. The luxury models are fine but I was in such a rush to get here I took a faster less hospitable vessel."

OOC: Short but yeah fever is coming back up.

Ayden took a sip from his glass of whiskey and looked at the proposal outline that he had been forwarded by the Santhe corporate headquarters. It wasn't much, but he could pull the jist of the meeting out from it. Still, he was intrigued when he had heard that the person coming to deliver the full proposal and handle negotiation was none other than Sasha Santhe herself. The woman had practically been a recluse for months now. Some had even speculated that she had been assassinated. So what then was of enough import that she'd come out of isolation to visit him? The answer to that alone would be worth the meeting.

He pressed a button on his console and set aside the pad. "You can send in [member="Sasha Santhe"] when you're ready."

Sasha heard [member="Ayden Cater"] ask for her when ready. His intern politely nodded and stood up to show her to the office door but Sahsa smiled politely and waved him off. She wasn't a damsel to be waited on. Ogled at sure, plenty of people ogled her, but waited on? No, never. The door slid open as she approached and soon she was inside Ayden Caters office. It was plainer than she had expected. After all with that hat she had assumed his office would be something grandiose. It was well organized and neat, but not too neat. Being too neat was the sign of a deranged mind, or so her grandfather had always told her. "Mr. Cater, it is a pleasure to meet you face to face. I got a look at some of your operation from orbit as my shuttle approached, may I say that it well organized and an utterly beautiful representation of Corellian technology." She extended her hand delicately, like she was taught as a child, like a lady would.

Ayden stood when the door opened to greet Miss Santhe. She was tinier than he expected. He took her hand with a surprising amount of grace for a man of his statue; it wasn't a crushing grip, but neither was it limp-wristed. At the same time, he tipped his hat respectfully before showing her to her seat. "I must confess, I was surprised to get your request for an audience, Miss Santhe. You've been quite private with your life and dealings for the last few months." He smiled graciously and chuckled. "Of course, I don't imagine you came here for such talk. What might I do for you today?" Polite, but to the point; that was the style he was best known for.

"Yes well, its part of growing up I suppose. And the way the scandal vids were attacking me, it was just too much." She let out a little sigh, "But you're right, I'm not here to talk about my little long term vacation. I'm here to talk about business. I'd like to form something of a coalition with Corellian Engineering Corporation. We'd agree to open up components sales to one another and to allow use of said components in products without too many messy contracts. It would boost both our sales in the long term. And there is also another issue, one more pressing and of concern to me. I'm sure you've heard of this little tiff I'm having with Subach Innes and the owner that awful Circe Savan. She has stolen intellectual property of mine in addition to many other illegal deeds. I'd like for Omega Pyre, and all respectable governments, to embargo all the womans products. I think we would both agree such flagrant violation of copy-write law, and the laws of civilized society should be punished."

Ayden quirked an eyebrow. That was certainly an interesting proposal. So far, only a handful of CEC ships had used the Corell OmniPod tech. If it were licensed out to a Santhe ship, that might boost sales. Still, the lack of a contract troubled him. "I think I'd need more than a good word to give to the board of directors, Miss Santhe. What exactly where you looking at getting from us?"

What she said next made him laugh outright. "Subach Innes? In trouble? Next you'll tell me kath hounds slobber and Hoth is frozen." He laughed some more and shook his head. After a moment he regained his composure and looked at Sasha squarely. "Miss Santhe, the Protectorate has long known of the trouble and walking disaster that is one Circe Savan. There is a reason we don't use Subach products; they're sub-standard, poorly designed, and useless for anything but target practice. And the damn things don't even have the courtesy of lasting long at that. That said, I certainly have no trouble banning the sale of Subach products with Protectorate territory. It would cause me no sleepless nights."

Sasha smiled at that. "Very good, a ban of their products within Protectorate space it is." She reached up and pulled a strand of hair away from her face. "It is reassuring for me to know that the Protectorate is behind me in this."

And then onto other business. "As for no contract, I meant outside of the initial contract allowing me to purchase in bulk any components that you are willing to sell. In return I'd open up my own components to you. It would be a cooperative arrangement to better both our yards and assure that we produce the best ships in the galaxy. The contract would allow you to skim through my catalog of available goods and make bulk purchases for use in your starships. Likewise it would allow me to do the same."

OOC: I got no components yet but ICly you got to assume I have some, and I got a few active dev threads with things going so yeah.
