Character
It hardly took them much time to track their target down. Once they were through the gap and walking further in, the sound of the warrior’s footsteps could be heard some distance away. But while it was a simple matter of finding him again, it was a completely different thing trying to fight him. They were both much more agile compared to the hulking Massassi, but their attacks seemed to either have no effect, just bouncing off like they were hitting some kind of barrier.
Massassi warriors were legendary for being formidable fighters, but this one was not natural. Even Kat’s saber pike had no effect, the blade of it just bouncing off the creature’s flesh. Almost like it was more of a barrier than actual flesh.
“Sounds like a good idea to me, we gotta keep this guy busy while-” Viera interrupted herself to flip backwards, away from a swing. The Massassi warrior had been devoid of any real weaponry, but had now ripped up a bench and was using it as a club.
Viera had to ‘shuffle’ her mindscape when she felt Oros telepathic request. She was already dealing with a physical threat right now, having the talking brain hear the voices in her head was not something she wanted known.
“Fortunately, Master Oros has given us some directions, the source is in the main reading room apparently.”
The Thyrsian led the charge as they shifted direction, delivering a number of blows to get the warrior’s attention. Working their way towards the main reading room, the Massassi attacks grew increasingly aggressive. That was until Kat jumped and diverted his attention once again, much to the beings annoyance if the subsequent roar was anything to go by.
“Generally speaking, Sith artifacts have an aura to them. Years of exposure to the Dark, either by location, user, or both. So it should be fairly simple to find it. We’ve just gotta do it while being attacked.”
Something told Viera that even with Kat attacking, the Massassi warrior was going to become enraged once they got within the vicinity of the tablets.
