Lightening Your Burdens (Tegaea/Mei)

Mei nodded when Mistress Kerrigan asked her to speak up if she saw anything that would be good to add to the armory. There wasn't anything off the top of her head, but then again, Mei rarely dealt in heavy weaponry as it was, and from what she saw, the Armory had plenty in the way of small arms and melee weaponry. She wasn't exactly the one to ask when it came to what should be added when it came to firepower, though if something came up, she'd be certain to ask.

Mei then turned and bowed to Mistress Kerrigan when she said she would show her how to handle the larger weapons within the armory. "Thank you, Mistress Kerrigan," the handmaiden said as she stood up straight once more. "I am glad that I will be learning how to handle such weaponry from as noted an expert as yourself."

Not long afterwards, upon seeing the feast that Mistress Alcori had cooked for them, Mei was quite visibly shocked; She wondered how Mistress Alcori was able to cook so much food so quickly, and so well! When Mistress Alcori asked her if everything was good, Mei nodded in confirmation, accepting the eggs and blue milk that were offered her at the same time. "Yes, I believe everything is good so far... Pardon, though, is this amount of cuisine normal for breakfast?"

Clearly it had been more than Tegaea's red hair and the six-pack she had had back in her mercenary days that attracted Siobhan to her! "I swear you are trying to fatten me up...for some reason, I'm not that skinny," Siobhan teased. Admittedly she did burn through calories rather fast due to...activities. Well, throwing a tank as if it were a toy or chucking boulders with your mind must cost a great deal of energy, so the telekinetic wai fu was actually a big eater. Well, hers and Tegaea's, ahem, backroom activities must eat up calories as well. Book club was...intense.

"You didn't have to...not that I'm complaining! Great as always, love," she said with a fond expression written over her face as she helped herself to some bacon and eggs before passing food over to her wife. "Wifey is...very caring. What's left over goes to the servants."

Tegaea looked guiltily at the platters of food. It probably was a little too much for breakfast for three. On the other hand, it wouldn’t go to waste.
“The cooking’s the fun part, Mei. The eating is also fun, but making things. I also like gardening and forging things when I get the opportunity. Take whatever you like, you two.”

She ladled on a few choice things onto her plate, still very careful about what she ate. “So, anything to report so far, Mei? We’re going to a meeting later this morning, and I’d like you to come along with us. The guests are coming here, so I’d like you to inconspicuously scan then for weapons, then monitor them from concealment.”
