Private Light's on Lothal

In the serene wilderness of Lothal, just outside a quaint treehouse nestled among the vibrant flora, Braze stood alone in a small clearing. The sun was beginning to dip towards the horizon, casting long shadows and bathing the landscape in a warm, golden hue. Around him, the wilderness thrived, untouched and wild, with the sounds of distant creatures echoing softly. Nearby, a small garden, carefully cultivated with a variety of plants, added a touch of domesticity to the otherwise untamed surroundings.

Braze, with his snowy white hair gently swaying in the light breeze, was a picture of focus. Clad in simple, practical attire suitable for both training and the day's work in the garden, he held his training saber in a relaxed but ready grip.

He began his practice with a series of basic drills, moving through the forms he had been taught with a fluid grace. Each movement was precise and controlled, a dance of light as the blade arced through the air. The soft hum of the lightsaber was almost meditative, blending with the natural sounds around him.

What a lovely planet this was. Leon walked alone, he did that a lot now that his formal duties weren't particularly notable. His droid and crew on the ship. It was pretty easy to have free time when he could rely on passive income from investments and just monitor them. He'd gotten good enough at that that he didn't need to bother too much with it most of the time. And could travel so much more. He rode around on his two seated speeder. He felt things on this world, places and pasts even without having to touch them for psychometry. It was a special world. And so he weaved, following the points of interest in the force as much as on a map.

And then he found an interest, seen in the distance a treehouse and someone outside. As he grew closer he began to tilt his head. They were light in hair, and eyes, and skin, and had gifts, and a saber. Young though, unfortunate. He wandered if that youth was too much to make them worth fighting. Ah there it was, the urge always to fight. It had been on the back of his mind anyway but his focus for the time being was just exploring the planet until now. Activated simply by someone training. Too young to risk killing. That would be cruel, unjust. But...that didn't mean they couldn't fight.

He slowed down a ways away, hopping out of his speeder and raising a brow as he approached, "Having fun there are you? Just swinging at the air?"

A smug grin graced Braze's features as he responded without missing a beat, "The more you sweat in training, the less you bleed in battle." His curious gaze never left the stranger, meticulously studying his appearance and body language with hyper-focused attention, even as he continued his practice. After completing a drill set, Braze paused briefly and stood up, flourishing his practice saber. He offered a cordial, showy bow, "Care to put in some participation and make things a little less dull?"

His attention momentarily shifted to the brand the elder male carried, an unspoken recognition of a fellow warrior. Braze, snowy white from head to toe, looked like a small-framed Echani youth, but his cool, somber jade green eyes suggested a mixed heritage. With a spark in his eyes, he added confidently, "I always find it enlightening to spar with Those who have more life experience. It's a thrilling way to test my limits. So, are you up for the challenge, or is observing all you're good for?"

His tone was brimming with brattish challenge and excitement, a clear indication of his love for combat and testing his skills against those he perceived as more experienced.

Leon didn't actually disagree with him, practicing alone was far better than not at all. He was interested though, the boy looked echani. Leon might have, if he didn't dye his hair red. But they both differed from echani on the eyes. He wandered if the padawan would recognize the style once they started fighting.

He grinned in return at the offer, and the challenge, "Oh, I'm always ready for a challenge." he agreed. He adjusted the ritual brand, tightening sheaths on each end. That was the closest thing to a stun setting one could get for such a weapon. Though he hadn't decided if he'd use it or not. Leon returned the bow equally as dramatically, "But will I get one?" he prompted.

The stance he took was not one that hid anything. It was clearly rooted in the echani fighting style and the echani firedancers, but his whole body looked like it was barely held back from attacking straight away. He wanted confirmation the fight had begun, or to let Braze make the first move. Leon was well aware that he should have the advantage here, he was nearly tempted not to use a weapon at all. But the other was using a lightsaber, and he didn't know what skills in the force he might employ. The last force user he dealt with was genuinely about equal to him. That man was a mandalorian and a sith. This one, probably just a padawan, but you could never be too sure.

Braze's jade eyes were searching and observant of the man. He was practically drinking in information by his appearance. He watched with curiosity watching the adjustment with keen interest. Fortunately for both of them, Braze's lightsaber was a training lightsaber, and the safety features were presently enabled.

Braze couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement as Leon accepted his challenge. The Echani's confident demeanor and the way he adjusted his weapon, a ritual brand, made it clear that he was not to be underestimated. Braze knew of the Echani fighting style and their distinctive techniques, and he couldn't help but wonder how he would fare against someone with such expertise.

A smile tugged at the corners of Braze's lips as he observed Leon's stance, which reflected the firedancers' influence.

Braze replied with a playful glint in his eye, "Oh, you'll get one, but only if you can earn it." He tightened his grip on his training lightsaber, his jade green eyes locked onto Leon's form.

As the sparring match began, Braze made his opening move, drawing from the Makashi lightsaber form, enacting with practiced finesse and precision. With a quick, elegant flourish, he executed a deft strike, aiming to test Leon's defenses and gauge his opponent's reaction time. His movements were graceful and controlled.

Just like Braze was drinking information, Leon was reading. The fight hadn't started yet, but the book had just been opened. He made the first move, and Leon moved into the dance. Every move and motion and stance a sentence of their own telling Leon about who he was fighting. His first response was to raise one of thee two blades as his body moved forwards and to the side towards Braze's non dominant side, the echani ritual brand (having a blade on either end) never stopping and moving to strike at his head. If blocked or missed, Leon would continue out past the padawan, the weapon ever intent on never stopping it's motions, only changing directions. Much like Leon's body.

He wanted to pick things up, increase the speed, increase the power, the aggression, find out if the padawan could keep up if he went all in. He was precise and graceful, he'd give him that. But it was only the first move. Things could always escalate. And it was as much of an interest to read his progression into increased effort that Leon wanted to see as where his end point was. Leon almost certainly had far more experience in combat than he did, but he was far less trained in the force.

As Leon initiated the first move in their combative dance, Braze felt a surge of excitement. For Braze, every exchange of strikes and parries was akin to an exhilarating game, each move contributing to a distinctive rhythm that he eagerly embraced, finding delight in its increasing tempo. The thrill of the challenge of matching an experienced opponent like Leon, brought a spark to his eyes and a smirk to his lips,-- it was an rare opportunity to be savored and thoroughly enjoyed.

Braze's movements were fluid and instinctive, his years of training manifesting in muscle memory that responded to Leon's maneuvers near effortlessly. Each parry, each dodge, came as naturally to him as breathing.

His breathing remained calm and controlled. Even as the pace of the duel increased, Braze's breaths were measured, fueling his movements with a steady flow of energy. He was in his element, his mind clear, his senses heightened, fully immersed in the moment.

Braze's footwork was careful yet daring, each step calculated to test his partner further. He moved with a sure-footed grace, his feet lightly touching the ground as he maneuvered around Leon's strikes. He was not just defending; he was probing, looking for openings, and opportunities to turn the tide.

With a swift twist of his body, Braze attempted to gain a better position, aiming to flank Leon. His lightsaber twirled and flourished in his hand, a blur of light as he prepared to strike. Yet, there was no aggression in his movements, a sole desire to push both himself and Leon to their limits.

What excitement, what interest. Reading and whirling and striking, for someone so young the padawan fought so well. Of course Leon had never fought a trained force user of that age before, but it seemed impressive nonetheless. They had yet to reach a limit of either of them it seemed. A graceful dance of combat.

Leon was not calm, he was enjoying himself. Eyes alight and smile on his face in amusement. His breathing was certainly not heavy. That required far more than where they were at now. He could feel the detections, and every once in awhile, he'd feign a gap just to close it. Each time making sure he timed it slightly later than the last, or suddenly jumping back to instantly. Watching how Braze would react to it, if he understood that Leon was using it as a taunt. Not a harsh one by any means, but one to push the fight forwards.

Then Braze's flank came in, excellent! A change of pace. Leon suddenly picked up speed and aggression. His body didn't turn to face him at all. Only his head just enough to watch him, as his dual bladed weapon whirled into action around him to block and try and push back Braze, then Leon suddenly was almost on the ground spinning with one of his legs aimed at Braze's knees. Even if he missed. Leon was going to shift, to something more natural. Aggression. Nearly every motion was either an attack, or a defense that aimed to slide the blade down towards Braze's hands whenever the two made contact, assuming he didn't spin it into another attack.

So interesting, that the fight here was one so un-altered by the force compared to that with the mandalorian. That a jedi would actually prefer to fight him on grounds of prowess in melee combat over enhancing that in attacks with the force. Though to be fair, and perhaps Braze would be able to read it from Leon's motions. Leon had every intent on exploiting any attempt to use the force mid-duel. Braze seemed to have skill as well at learning to understand his opponents movements and test them mid-fight. It was a wonderful skill to have. And so much the better to duel against someone who did.

Braze's reactions were lightning-fast, almost as if he had an innate ability to read the subtlest hints of movement in his opponent's larger muscle groups. The provocations and encouragement to exploit apparent openings were not lost on him. Several times, he had to restrain himself from committing to an attack, the taunts working just enough to slightly frustrate him, like a kitten playfully swiping at a toy but just missing it each time.

He initiated a cross-step disengagement as he anticipated the back-swing towards his flank. Attempting a parry, Braze was just a fraction of a second too late. The back of Leon's blade grazed him, a reminder that, had it been unsheathed, it would have surely drawn blood. Before Braze could fully recover, he noticed the sweep coming. Reacting swiftly, he pushed off the balls of his feet, gaining a bit more air as he continued his disengaging motion. This move was designed to create enough distance for a brief pause, almost as if he was resetting himself.

During this momentary brief lull, Braze took the opportunity to analyze his opponent's unique style and preferences. His mind raced, processing every detail of Leon's technique. He understood that adapting to Leon's rhythm and anticipating his next move was crucial. The dance of their duel was intense, a test of skill and wit, and Braze was determined to rise to the challenge.

Braze's learning curve was visibly steepening with each passing moment. He seemed to have gauged that his disengagement would very likely be immediately pursued, allowing him to continue with nimble footwork. He moved in a smooth counterclockwise motion, his saber handheld in a mid-guard pose, a position that offered both defense and readiness for attack.

As he circled, Braze's keen observation of Leon's style became more apparent. He noted how Leon's movements were fluid and continuous, seamlessly transitioning from one side to the other. This observation was crucial; it revealed a pattern in Leon's combat style, a rhythm that Braze could potentially use to his advantage.

The way Leon's motions flowed, never halting, always shifting direction, was like watching water move – unpredictable yet following a natural course. Braze understood that to counter such a style, he needed to be equally fluid, adapting to the ever-changing dynamics of their duel. His eyes remained sharply focused, tracing every move, every shift in Leon's stance, preparing himself to respond with precision and agility. He found a brief moment amidst their swift exchanges to express his admiration. With a tone that carried both respect and a hint of excitement, Braze called out,

"You move like water! It's impressive how seamlessly you flow from one move to the next!"

Despite the obvious age difference, Leon couldn't help but think of his father as he fought with the padawan. How when his father first showed him how skilled a warrior he truly was, every move Leon made was one he was already moving to react to or exploit. The entire point of the echani style was about the reading and learning. And he saw it again here. Yes his taunts were working, but the engagement was hardly over. They were still reading each other, still each upping and adapting their styles and movements.

And there was a click, not Leons, but Brazes. The padawan had taken some distance, which as he understood, Leon moved in on. And in that moment he'd changed, he'd recognized and adopted the fluidity of Leon's movements. Had this been a real fight, Leon's willingness to delay and continue to only work upwards would have been a mistake against an opponent that could adapt like this. He wasn't sure still just how high Braze's skill might get, but what he did understand was that for training. He made the right choice. The opponent he fought now was even better than the one from before. Wonderful.

It was incredible to watch someone he'd never met, someone he couldn't imagine had nearly the training in echani he had, learn from him like this. How fantastic a fighter he must be in just another year or two. Even enough to find an opportunity to speak, Leon's face showed clearly the appreciation even if he didn't stop to say so. His voice came out like a hum. Just like his style, avoiding interruptions to it, "Your adaptability is to be admired." and with that approval, came the evidence he showed it. As Leon moved into a semi repeating pattern that would pick up its speed, his brand rushing in his hands to bounce off the saber so the other side would attack with additional force from the opposite location. While the rest of Leons body moved to keep the blade going, and then, if he did it right, drop it altogether mid strike on one of the sides. Aiming to grab Braze's saber hand while it was hopefully defending the blade and kick him straight towards the stomach.

It might not of course, precognition, or some level of intuition that Leon hadn't been able to anticipate. Could allow Braze to avoid the grip or even try and make an attack out of it. Leon almost hoped he would. His leg was just as ready to kick his brand back into his hands as it was for Braze's stomach. It was technically still a risky maneuver especially depending on how much Braze was perhaps holding back in comparison to what Leon was holding back, but how much fun was it to exhaust oneself in an endlessly adapting duel.

Loads of fun actually but that was besides the point.

Each movement, each parry and thrust, brought back a rush of fond memories, like a playful kitten engaging in a spirited game of tag with its littermates. The style Leon employed stirred within Braze early memories of his father, Jint'aro, and uncle, Kaelan, sparring in their clan home. Kaelan had favored a similar style, and these long-forgotten memories now flashed vividly through Braze's mind.

His kinesthetic learning kicked into high gear as he parried and blocked, eagerly anticipating the continuation of the dance. He recognized the pattern repeating after the first two strikes of the second volley, and his sure-footed, quick steps came into play. No longer dodging or stepping back, Braze made his move, turning the duel into something far more exhilarating.

Adapting slightly faster than Leon had anticipated, Braze managed to close the distance between them. After parrying Leon's blade with his own, he slid right into Leon's personal space. In a playful gesture, Braze attempted to tap Leon lightly on the solar plexus with a bare hand, not as an attack but as a friendly 'taunt.' His footsteps moved in harmony with the pattern Leon had been using, as he crescent-stepped out of Leon's personal space with a long, sweeping step. It was a gesture not of aggression but of playful challenge, a lighthearted 'tag' in their dance of blades.

Braze was starting to understand the circular momentum and the patterns of interplay very well, each one feeding into the next. The duel was transforming into a thrilling game of skill and adaptation; a small joy of combat and the thrill of matching wits with a skilled opponent. For Braze, this was more than just a training exercise; it was a delightful hunt, a game.

If Leon hadn't been taken aback by the proximity Braze had managed to achieve, his attempt at a grab might have been successful. As Braze initiated his withdrawal step, all that was needed from Leon was a minor adjustment in his angle and timing. This slight recalibration could have turned the tables, capitalizing on the momentary gap created by Braze's movement. Such a tactical shift would have required quick reflexes and a keen sense of spatial awareness, traits that both combatants were clearly demonstrating in their intricate dance of blades. It would seem they both enjoyed playing risky moves.

And move quick Braze did in response to the motion, Leon's move not quite enough to change things. It was probably best the tap was just that, any extra force, and Leon could have capitalized on it. Every motion had it's continuation, or it lost its energy. Keep it light, and that loss is minimal. It was all the more fun for it. He'd still grab if he could, such a move might be somewhat surprising from a tactical perspective, but not so much as to alter his momentum.

Surprises had to be adapted to just as expectations. And while Braze was clearly impressive, moving into the personal space of a person who's two primary focuses are echani and a ritual brand and whose personal life was devoted to violence, puts them directly into the ideal range. The brand might be an echani weapon, but unarmed combat was arguably even more core to their style. And so Leon refused to let that distance be removed. He was taller than Braze, meaning he could adjust the length of every step to match or exceed Braze's. And so if his altered grip missed, he'd just keep coming, too close for any normal strike of a blade to work as he could adjust a knee, a hand, an elbow, to grab or jam against the saber hand.

The dance went from whirling blades to swiping, kneeing, grabbing motions with arms, legs, hands, even the torso itself at times to attempt to shove Braze of balance when it happened to be the most effective method. His whole body was moving and spinning even at this range but it was doing so with the intent of having Leon's torso at most two feet from Brazes if not closer, to force out the close ranged combat that made a length weapon almost impossible to use. He'd begun to read ever deeper into Braze. He didn't need to be crafty in this fight, crafty did not exist here, he need only be efficient.

Those full body circles became dozens of mini fluid motions all occuring from every limb and joint that looked almost like Leon was using more limbs and joints than he had available to him, and that his spine and legs were made more out of rubber than bone, right up until if they'd make impact, then suddenly have all the force of an entire bodies motion behind them before they'd slide off course

I absolutely LOVE the way you're writing Braze in this fight scene and his adapting and flowing and movements. It's so fantastic to read!

Leon Nerrac Leon Nerrac

Braze, recognizing the shift in the sparring dynamics, adapts his strategy with resilience and ingenuity. He consciously refrains from using the Force, relying solely on his physical skills and instincts. Despite being briefly caught in Leon's skilled close-quarters combat, and taking the hit, Braze doesn't seem deterred. If anything, the challenge seems to invigorate him, fueling a surge of energy.

He endures a few strikes, each one a lesson in Leon's prowess. But Braze is quick to respond, his movements becoming a blur of offense. He launches a flurry of rapid strikes, targeting a wide range of locations. Whether these attacks break through Leon's defenses or are blocked is secondary to Braze's true intent – creating an opening.

In a sudden, perhaps unexpected maneuver, Braze drops down, darting between Leon's legs. His agility and speed are on full display as he aims to hook his instep around Leon's, executing a precise push side kick aimed at the back of Leon's knee. This isn't just an escape; it's a tactical move to create the necessary distance for Braze to regain control.

As Braze finds himself on the ground, his position is far from vulnerable. Even lying on his back and side, he remains a formidable opponent. His eyes are alert, and his body is ready to spring into action.

As the sparring session progresses, it becomes increasingly evident that Leon's experience outweighs Braze's. However, Braze compensates for this with a diverse array of skills, techniques, and maneuvers. His approach hints at a keen interest in various martial arts, suggesting that he is in the midst of crafting his unique style by nlending elements from different disciplines. This process involves discerning what works best for him and discarding what doesn't.

Braze's enthusiasm for learning and practical application is unmistakable. He treats the spar like an invigorating game of tag, displaying a passionate investment in each exchange. His energy, though gradually depleting over time, is channeled into maintaining a balance between exertion and control. He takes deep, yet controlled breaths, consciously avoiding overexertion or hyperventilation.

Physically, Braze is light on his feet, showcasing speed and flexibility that complement his sharp and quick mind. However, his style isn't focused on delivering powerful, impactful hits. Instead, it's tailored more towards outmaneuvering and gradually wearing down an opponent. This approach reflects a strategic mindset, prioritizing agility and endurance over brute force. It's a style that requires patience and precision, playing a long game where each move is a calculated step in a larger plan. All this was readable evident in the conversation they were silently having with one another.

As much as Braze was enjoying it, so was Leon. Combat was special, violence had it's own language to be spoken and not everyone was fluent in it. He wasn't sure how well Braze truly understood through it, but he understood it enough to matter. As of course, did Leon. Braze would find tricking or surprising Leon with speed or almost impossible anymore. He was beginning to understand him as a person more than just what skills he had in store. Echani was so much more than just a combat style.

Leon would adjust his attacks in accordance with Braze's. One didn't always have to defend against them, sometimes move with them. Sometimes still he would block, but Leon's style was so conserving of that energy by moving with certain attacks only so much as he had to. If it was the lightsaber of course, Leon would evade it, or make for motions that would aim to force Braze to risk losing his lightsaber if he continued, or the fight, such as aiming for the throat.

Even the dart past his legs Leon went with, the kick was moved with, Leon let himself bend fully backwards and launching himself through the air with his hands to continue his assault beginning to switch to shoving and kicking motions, the idea was to force Braze to either dodge, or have to try and resist. Either way, that could be exhausting. Still refusing to let the close distance be lost too easily.

Leon was not using as big a variety as Braze certainly. He recognized that, and Braze's style of mixture. Leon was a master echani when it came to martial arts, everything else he ever used, was always supplemental to that. Leon seemed as invigorated now as he was at the start of the fight, he loved the fact that he was not alone this time in the battles enjoyment. He had fought fights for far far longer than this one while going all in from the start, he was a long way from wearing himself thin. Though his breathing was different too, it was not labored.

Their language was not dissimilar, both favored endurance, and agility. Leon certainly put in powerful attacks, probably more often. And his aggression was notable. Although Leon was not trying to kill Braze, by now, if he truly understand, Braze might read the bloodlust Leon could have. How his aggression was controlled only because he was trained. Leon could see Braze's patience, his adaptability and acceptance of whatever worked for him. And braze may see a mind warped to love violence that was kept in the right by a fathers care and training.

As their intense match stretched into the evening, with the sun setting and the string lights of the treehouse casting a warm glow in the darkness, Braze reached a point of exhaustion. It was a rare moment for him to acknowledge his limits, but he did so gracefully, admitting verbal defeat with a sense of respect and accomplishment. "I yield," he stated, his voice reflecting both fatigue and a hint of satisfaction.

Throughout their prolonged sparring session, Braze had been remarkably persistent, demonstrating not just physical endurance but also a keen ability to learn and adapt. He had absorbed much from observing and engaging with Leon's style, gaining a deeper understanding of the man's approach to combat. This experience had offered Braze valuable insights, enhancing his own skills and perspectives.

In some ways, Braze found himself empathizing with Leon's sentiment for the love of violence, though his own inclination leaned more towards the art and discipline of combat rather than aggression.

Leon's eyes ever glittered with the enjoyment as they moved on visibly straining to hold himself back when he finally heard Braze say he yielded. And letting his body accept the fatigue of the fight himself. He could go on longer, far longer. But that didn't mean there was no exhaustion certainly. He was truly impressed with just how competent Braze had been throughout, and could only imagine how much of a threat he was in a real fight. Imagine, just a few more years. What he could do.

Leon didn't believe he understood the jedi better necessarily through him, but he got to see into the kind of fighter and person Braze was. And that was still an experience. The Nyriaan nobleman smiled at the padawan stepping back and picking up to place his ritual brand onto his back. "Been a long time since I got to have a fight like that. Maybe someday I'll get to see you when you're a master." he said cheerfully, "That was much more than I was expecting to just happen upon some day."

"Been a long time since I got to have a fight like that. Maybe someday I'll get to see you when you're a master." he said cheerfully, "That was much more than I was expecting to just happen upon some day."
Braze, taking in the peaceful surroundings and the compliment from Leon, felt a sense of accomplishment and growth offering a bow of his head to Leon. "Perhaps... It's been a pleasure to meet you; I'm Braze."

As the evening breeze gently rustled through the treetops, Braze stretched out, feeling the satisfying fatigue of a well-fought training session. He clipped his training saber onto his utility belt.

"I'm glad I could offer you some touch of entertaining insight. Thank you for the opportunity for learning," Braze chirped, his voice carrying a note of gratitude. "You are an excellent fighter, your clan must be proud of you." he complimented, acknowledging the skill and prowess of his sparring partner.

"If you would like, I can bring you some water or tea," he offered, moving towards a workbench where a bucket and a small hand towel were placed. He dipped the towel in the bucket, wringing it out before patting himself with the cool, wet cloth, a welcome relief against the heat and sweat from their exertion.

The treehouse was bathed in the warm glow of string lights, casting a cozy ambiance in the growing darkness of the evening. The soft tinkling of wind chimes mingled with the natural sounds of the evening, creating a serene atmosphere. Stars began to twinkle in the sky overhead, adding beauty to the scene.

Leon smiled and bowed his head in return, "Leon Nerrec, and likewise." he answered brightly. Looking out at the lands before them and then turning again as Braze spoke. He chuckled, "You're welcome, and thank you." he considered the following on the clan a little more, "As a warrior. But I was not prepared for the duties my father wished for me, he willingly took them back, and I willingly gave them. Before anything bad actually happened of course."

He shook his head, it was a bother. But his body language made it clear that he didn't take it as anything major, it wouldn't truly change him one way or another. A misfortune, but no tragedy.

Then lifted again as Braze offered tea, Leon rolled his shoulders to loosen them a bit and stretched his back, "Sure. Not certain how long I'll stick about but hey why not join for a tea. Long as you aren't planning to poison me." he added the last part with an amused grin. He didn't of course believe he'd do it, just a jest, "Lovely place. Peaceful, nice to stop by. Though for me, not a place to stay. Lots of places like that. Too...quiet."

Braze quirked a brow at that, "Now, why would I have any reason to poison you? I hardly know you. Are you someone of great stature then?" he asked, a hint of curiosity in his voice as he tidied up the area around them.

"Follow me this way into the common areas,"
Braze called softly, leading the way towards a staircase that spiraled up into the heart of the treehouse. As they ascended, the treehouse revealed itself to be a fantastical living space, akin to a cozy home or a hostel nestled in the midst of nature. It was a place that seemed to blend seamlessly with its surroundings, offering comfort and a sense of seclusion.

"Most often, the problem with peace and quiet is that it doesn't tend to last,"
Braze mused as they reached a large area furnished with soft seating pillows scattered around a sunken deck. The space exuded a tranquil ambiance.

Braze then guided Leon to a section that resembled a kitchenette. The area was modest but well-equipped, reflecting a basic simplicity and practicality. Braze set about preparing tea with the supplies he had on hand, moving with an ease that suggested familiarity and a sense of belonging in this unique environment.

Leon chuckled slightly, "I was mostly joking that you were just a sore loser, but technically, I am an heir to Nyriaan by my Father. Though I may be avoiding that problem. I don't think I'm fit to rule a world. Very possibly ever." he shrugged. The prospect didn't really bother him that much.

Leon followed after him into the strangely built place, it was an interesting structure. But it felt like it matched well with the world around it. Still, it was far too quiet for Leon to like for long. His slight discomfort already being out of combat in such a peaceful location, with none yet foreseen on the horizon, was not inherently hidden. But it wasn't pressing to be a problem for either of them either.

He gave a grunt at the lack of lasting peace,
"No I suppose not, but what can you really do about that. Some people have reasons they think are right for upsetting the peace, and some people dislike peace itself. We'll never truly be rid of violence, perhaps until the last living being is dead." a rather gruesome outlook but to him it seemed logical.
