Long Black Train

She raised an eyebrow and feigned with her non-dominant hand as if she might ping reinforcements of her own. She would not allow anyone to feel as if they could get away with any variety of threats. She would make clear her psychological dominance.

Oh, Geneviève so had to fight the urge to lift her barrel just a little and splinter the agent's kneecaps. But maybe Solan could actually pull this off. He did have a sort of charm to him, she had to admit. The flirting did not really work on Gen to the full extent--at least, not to the ends she suspected--but he had grown on her a little. Just be smart.

Waivering her gun slightly the agent was trained against force persuasion as long as she kept her concentration up. However that was the problem, her concentration was all but blown from the deep brown eyes that belonged to Solan. Now visably shaking she tried to fight the persuasion, she wanted to give into it. To give into the gunman's words of drinks and dates. So she did. With a glassy look on her eyes she slowly put her weapons in their holster and nodded. "I don't want to fight you, we are on the same side." She said in a soft and enthralled voice.

With a smile on her face she began to walk towards Solan, she had let go of the urge to hurt them and it felt good. Slowly she came up to solan not making any sudden movements. "I like drinks." She slurred the words slightly as she pressed into Solan, melting into him under his arm that didn't hold the saber. Looking up at him with bright blue eyes of glassy want she smiled and gave his neck a soft kiss. "Can it be more than just drinks?" She said in a very soft and sensual whisper to the man. She was quite clearly lost in the force of Solan and her own primal instincts of what her character was. All else seemed to be devoid of thought. Like it didn't matter the republic would be here to raid the train in a few minutes.

He didn't realize how far that he had pushed and at first simply thought she was under a simple suggestion and they would not have any problem. The problem soon showed itself and he blinked as he felt the woman grab his arm without the saber and instead of attacking him he felt her kiss his neck. Immediately his eyes went wide and he blinked over and over trying to think about how to figure out what was going on in that moment. The only thing he could think of though was to look at Genevieve and he spoke. "I swear, i didn't mean to push that hard on her mind, i was just trying to get her not to shoot us.." He didn't know what to do now, and how deep the persuasion actually rooted into her mind. He really hoped he could reverse the process, or he could be in a massive amount of trouble later on.

Inwardly, Geneviève was laughing. Outwardly, the most she betrayed was a mischievous smirk. "I think you always knew you had it in you, Slick." Yes, she would rub it in. "I can't imagine many women not finding interest in a guy who plays the violin so skillfully."

All joking aside, they needed to get out of here and let the Republic take care of its mess in its terribly ineffective way. She wanted to press forward into the train, but there was no sense in pushing their luck with this... girl. And in the interest of maintaining a nearly invisible profile with the Republic, she needed to get out of here fast. Even if that meant having to haul the hormonally-imbalanced chick along with them. Without a word, Gen swept back towards the end car where all the innocent passengers were. We'll have to save face with them, she spoke to Solan's mind. I'll uncouple the car, and we'll float back. By the time her backup arrives, they'll have a more heroic story to give them than the one they'd probably tell if we just ditched this ride altogether.

Smiling Patricia giggled softly, taking one of her hands she began to draw small circles on Solan's chest with her index finger. "I want you." She purred slightly and began to kiss his neck again slowly and gently, pressing her warm lips against his skin. "Don't you want me?" She asked in a sultry voice before gently biting Solan's neck. With an evil grin on her face Patricia moved her hand from his chest up to the back of Solan's head. Letting her fingers sprawl through her hair she gently caressed his head and then pulled his head forward for the grand finale. Locking lips with solan she melted into him and purred softly into the man. Normally anybody would think this would be too good to be true, and well they were right.

Click, click, click. The sound of handcuffs locking over Solan's hands were heard and it was now quite apparent the man had been played like his precious violin. Looking over to the right Solan could see his hand cuffed to the metal rail of another seat. Now normally this wouldn't be a problem for someone with a lightsaber. But that's where things got interesting. With a small clicking noise unlike the ones of the handcuffs, Patricia thumbed back the hammer of a small caliber pistol that was strapped to her inner thigh. The woman with the blindfold was back towards the end of the car so it would be hard to hear. But that was the least of her problems, Patricia looked at solan and gently placed the small pistol right next to Mister Johnson and the Juice Crew. "Say a single word and I'm gonna blow my load on you." She said in a whisper. "Drop the saber."

He smiled as she revealed that she was not under the persuasion, and honestly a lot more thankful after what she was acting like and spoke after the saber fell to the floor. His smile never changed though and he would smile as his hands were now both free, he smiled a bit more before speaking. "You know, if you wanted to do that you could have asked." He took stock over how much they had before her 'reinforcements' would get here.

In the meantime, Geneviève had reached the connector between the rearmost car with the passengers and their current car. Peeking inside, she announced to the cowering customers matter-of-factly, "Republic reinforcements are on their way now. The slavers are about to be neutralized." She keyed the release and tried her best, most comforting smile. It probably was not all that convincing, but they would have to make of the situation what they will. "Just stay put, and backup will come to retrieve you as soon as possible." With that, she shut the door and allowed the car to disconnect with the rest of the hover train, floating between the magnetic field emitting towers and eventually coming to a rest on the platform of one of them that was designed for such decoupling emergencies.

Having done her job to skew the story back their way for a favorable account by all the witnesses, Lasedri turned back to behold a most interesting development. Frak. Her partner-in-'crime' had apparently been detained by Creepy Agent Girl after all. At least Gen still had the option to ditch this ride. But she did not. Tell me what's up, Charr. We can still take her out. She raised her weapon.

"S@&!" Patricia said under her breath seeing the blinded women disconnect the cart. The republic already had gunships in the air and no doubt they saw the cart detach from the train. Patricia however knew that she had the upper hand in this situation. There wasn't much the two could do anymore besides try and harm her. "This is G, train cart detached from the rear. Send a gunship." Alerting the republic of their current situation. With a loud humming noise of an LAAT a republic gunship soared past them followed by three more moving past the cart and towards the main train. Not following in suit however was another LAAT that hummed loudly as the train car slowly began to lose momentum. They would more than likely breach the hull of the train cart in about a minute. Until then she had to keep these people occupied.

But first thing came first, it would be suicide to leave a unchecked saber on the ground for the forcies to use against her. Taking her foot she kicked the saber down the opposite way of the FUs and out of sight. Hopefully if they couldn't see it they couldn't call it back to her and stab the agent with it. Grabbing the pistol at Solan's waist she flung that out an open window and spoke. "I'm going to give you both a choice. I know these were bad men. Believe me I know." She said trying not to spit hatred into her words over these terrible people.

A small feeling touched Patricia and somehow she knew these people weren't the bad guys. She knew they weren't good, but they weren't bad. With a small sigh she looked to them both. "Drop your weapons, gear, f@&?ing everything out your pockets and I will let you go. No questions asked." With that she tried her best to smile. "Don't do it, and this hunk gets to swim in crouch soup until they clone him a new wang. Savvy?" She commanded of the two.

"Just drop your weapons Gen, no need to lose what i would rather keep, and as for you miss..." He smiled and would lean in closer, just that though, and whisper something very soft into her ear. "Oh come now, wouldn't you rather keep that there, after all we can put this behind us later if things turn out with no blood spilled... hell you can have the two i knocked unconscious. And your cover isn't blown, just the heist has gone bad. Infact, if you somehow get away with say... two new packages, your employers will be more than glad to bring you to there for getting two prime slaves..." His plan was simple, and this had somehow turned from a simple train ride, into a plan to catch a slaver leader... with him and Gen as bait.

Gen swayed her neck agitatedly and slowly lowered the barrel of her gun. She had many, many words to say to the crazy blonde, but held them back as she noticed Solan murmuring things to her. After gently setting her 'Scatterblast' on the floor--and away from the unconscious mercs, just in case--the Rebel leader opened the flaps of her coat and dropped the assorted blades and escape tools hidden inside. Finally, she removed a distress beacon from her pocket and placed it on the floor. She promptly crunched the device under her boot.

She was ready to leave this train. But her associate seemed to be intent on continuing this lovely conversation rather than escaping under the weirdo's new 'terms'. This very much concerned Lasedri. What are you telling her, you sonuvabanshee?

Patricia sighed and realized she was going to get yelled at for this, like a lot. But she had been chewed out before and to fair it was to the point where it wasn't that bad. Pulling her weapon from the crotch of her captive she let him go and slowly backed away. She was going to let these people go. And what was worse was that she wanted to help them take this bastard down. The opp was blown and now there was no way that she could reach him for a few more months.

Hundreds of people had already been sold into slavery while this operation was going. Hundreds, that meant there were thousands of families missing loved ones. This man woman or whatever was in charge needed to be stopped. Pulling out a single white index card with her number on it she placed one in the pocket of Solan and sent him away. "If you both are serious about taking this scumbag down, call me. I will tell you what I know. Otherwise I don't want to hear from either of you again." Putting her small pistol away she kept her eyes on them both and hoped they could get away before her back up would come in

"Hmm, perhaps, though i think we can talk about this never hearing from me again part over a drink miss, until then." He smiled and bowed before cutting his handcuffs with his saber as it flew too his hand. Then in a quick motion he soon relieved the train of its window. "Hey Gen, get over here, or you are going to have to find your own way off this thing." He smiled, watching for the certain thing he was looking for, an oddly colored river... probably had some pollution in it, but not enough to make them glow or extremely sick... probably just foul smelling.

Gen nodded to Solan and retrieved her gun, which she promptly heaved out another window, not wanting to leave behind a calling card. The SXB guns were not exactly commonplace. "Alright, let's go."

Walking towards the front of the car with purpose, Lasedri approached her partner and--apparently--her soon-to-be partner and scowled. As soon as they arrived wherever Solan was hoping to jump off, she would be out of this place. The next town was not too far ahead. It would be easy to catch a speeder--and separate herself from Solan for a bit.

"Get to stepping. I have to clean this mess up." Patricia sighed pinching the bridge of her nose with her thumb and index finger. This was going to be a nightmare in paperwork and excuses to the higher ups. Patricia nodded to the woman in front of her and watched them looking for a way off the bridge and down to the water bellow that looked like it had it's fair share of industrial run off go through it. With a sigh of frustration Patricia tossed them both compact grappling devices. "I want those back. Now get out of here and call me tonight for a meet up." Tucking at the ends of her jacket she didn't like giving her gear to these people but it was probably best that they didn't jump and die

[member="Patricia Susan Garter"] [member="Geneviève Lasedri"]

He caught one of the grappling devices and smiling wider as his eyes ran between the two of them and he rolled his eyes. "See you later miss Republic agent." He gave her a quick salute and jumped out of the hole, the grappling device taking its hold and him falling before it stopped his fall. He hung there for a few moments, relaxing as he looked towards the ground and sighed before lowering himself. to it.

Gen snatched the grappling device out of the air and narrowed her eyes, not exactly trusting of this weirdo. "I'll make sure to mark your line as my favorite." Sarcasm was always applicable.

Fastening the grappling magnet to the outside of the train, Lasedri leaned out of the window and let herself slowly descend as the train came near to a halt. It seemed like there actually was a dropcraft that had landed on the roof of the engine, so either the slavers had called in some backup or the wacky little I'm-an-agent girl was not bluffing after all. Either way, it was best they not stay for the slaughter if anyone actually was watching.

Her coat fluttered in the draft as she let her line down, and snapped the magnet release a meter above the soggy earth. She would say her 'farewell' to Solan and then be off. Though it seemed like they would need to form a plan tonight to watch each other's backs when it was time to return to Miss Inspector Gadget.

Patrica watched the two escape just in time to leave before the windows on the train car exploded.a dozen republic SWAT officers flooded the train cart securing downed opposition and making sure Patricia was ok. "I'm fine, I'm fine. These guys sniffed me out things got ugly they began to turn on each other in panic detached the train cart in a rush and left me here. Two of them got away but they are only mercs with loyalties to no one they are not a threat." Patricia gave her official story and sighed afterwards. "And the train, what of the others?" She asked a sergeant who was watching one of his greener recruits hoist up a hand cuffed mercenary who was slowly regaining consciousness as he was dragged away.

The mustached faced sergeant smiled and spoke "All hostile a captured or neutralized, the slaves are being processed and set free to be sent home to their families." Patricia sighed in relief this time and nodded. "Good, at least this operation wasn't a total failure." Patricia looked over a few of the dead bodies, watching as they were placed in black body bags to be taken away from the scene of the halted train car. All she could do now is hope the two got down safely and contact her about the lead on these folks employer
