Looking for a Dark Side/Neutral (side?) mentor of sorts...(OOC for now)

This character is ambitious, cunning, and force-sensitive, but altogether too old for formal training in the ways of the force. Jekell is conflicted, he possesses a deep love of freedom (and the Republic) but is angry and confused by the evils committed by people in the name of the freedoms he fought to defend. Jekell has ambitions on a semi-galactic scale (currently being developed OOC) and would be open to guidance from a mentor-type figure of ambiguous moral standing.

I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to develop this character along these lines (or similar ones) and would be grateful for any help or advice in this matter (both IC and OOC). I am also willing to have him join a faction if necessary.

You may want to check out The Rebel Alliance. It's a neutral/lightside leaning but a small faction focused on freedom through rebellion and sentient rights versus a large government structure.
