A Jedi killed a Sith.

Other Jedi are giving him grief for killing a Sith.

Wat.

*puts on Bounty Hunting shoes*
How about he is getting grief for executing someone who he "defeated", then brought to another fight to use as leverage in order to free another. When told to go jump in a lake he decided to stab a saber in her face and rip her throat out. Quite brutal.

Obi Wan Kenobi would be so proud?

EDIT - Was on my phone. Fixed errors.

You're right. Next time I'll just die for the cause instead of killing Sith and living for it. That'll help the Republic. It may have been brutal, but it was still and instant death. He was simply ensuring there was no way for her to survive and stab him in the back later. And give me a break, she was hardly a POW. Lol does anyone here really believe for a second she wouldn't try to kill Viper if he was in the same position?

All this grief because he bares the title Jedi. *rolls eyes* another soldier doing it would be lucky to have gotten a slap on the wrist. Good grief, can we move on people and leave this thread for what it is? Namely people wishing to collect on the bounty?

Let me poke a huge hole in that - His enemy engaged him, he didn't have Anakin in a similar position as Invicta. Did Obi-Wan pull force push him into the Lava pit? He sure could have and probably saved the lives of countless people but a thing called the Jedi code stopped him from doing so.

Anyways, abandoning this because the writer believes he is right which is his prerogative and several people have stated they're going for this bounty to which I say:

God speed, good luck and best of hunting.

A Jedi is not a soldier, they are held to a higher standard.

If I were magically a Jedi, and magically part of the Council, I would move to have you excommunicated from the Jedi Order. Nothing personal, but I agree with [member="Darth Vornskr"] and [member="Aaralyn Rekali"]. Vipers tactics were fitting of a Sith... But abhorrent for the conduct of a Jedi.

[member="VlPER"] I think you would fit in with the ession reformation, as they believe in purging sith. Though back to the bounty, I think harley might up for it once I get her armour sorted.

Welp, at least we know why the Republic and Jedi have been in a slow state of decline for so long. They value the lives of enemy Sith more than they do their own people. lol

[member="sabrina"]

Possibly. As long as you guys believe in actually killing Sith in more than perfect circumstances.

Either way though, I very much doubt Viper will be around to join. :p Much to the happiness of his Order apparently, as it seems Jedi get into the BH trade now too. haha

[member="VlPER"] I'm gonna follow in [member="Aaralyn Rekali"] footsteps and remove myself from the conversation. But let it be known, I completely disagree with your perspective on these notions of Jedi standards. The true downfall of the order would be marked in Vipers allowance to remain in the ranks, without severe consequences.

I generally try to avoid being judgmental....at least openly. However, much of what you said goes very much against the tenants and teachings of the Jedi. Killing a helpless opponent is not the Jedi way, it is far from it. Your actions are tantamount to the actions of Anakin Skywalker when he killed Count Dooku, though we could perhaps argue that your actions were less motivated by emotion (I assume). It was cold blooded murder. You can rationalize it as strategic if you'd like, but that isn't the actions of a Jedi.

Next time I'll just die for the cause instead of killing Sith and living for it.

Your quote (in green) shows how off your actions are from that of the Jedi code. A Jedi should be willing to die rather than commit cold blooded murder. Jedi should not commit murder to punish or to prevent crimes/actions that may never happen. And your mistaken in your statement that Jedi value the lives of Sith more than their own people. The Jedi value ALL life, regardless of whose side that life is on. ALL life!

EDIT: Allow me to point out, this is how Kian/I would view things from an IC perspective!

OOC: This is a game and a rather great one, and I did find the whole fight scene to be very well written.

Thank you very kindly - Viper and I worked very hard on making it a good fight and a good read :)

If my sister was killed today, you bet I'd pay someone for revenge.
Pay someone? Really...pay someone? I'd expect you to get your skinny butt into gear and avenge me yourself!

OK, sibling reprimand over, you can all go about your business now. Jedi and the Code or whatnot.. All very important and serious I'm sure :)
