Lost in Translation

Laira squeaked at Karina's hands gripped her rear-end, but grinned and slipped her own arms around the Eldorai's waist and did as instructed. it was fairly easy to shower Karina with attention and squeeze on her own buttocks since that is what Laira wanted, the rest that would follow she would have to get used to and get some of her own out of it or this little session wouldn't last.

For now, the redhead pressed her lips to Karina's and slipped her tongue into the Eldorai's mouth hungrily, having waited and taken a long time to manipulate events to lead to this moment, she was making the most of it. It was in the redhead's nature to want to take control of the situation and so she started edging Karina towards the sofa in the hopes of pushing her down on it and climbing atop the tall woman. "Keep in mind, passion has to be mutual," she muttered between kisses, "I like the attention, tell me how much you are enjoying yourself."

Her own kisses trailed along the aristocrats neck, gentle nibbles and the licking of her tongue against silk-like skin until she was nibbling and sucking on the tips of the Eldorai's ear, sliding her tongue against Karina's lobes during breaths.

"Of course." Dimeria said, she was pretty sure that the Angeli Captain wasn't interested by the temperature of the room and by the glare the captain was sending her way. "I suppose I'll be honest then," It was a risk, but if necessary they could fight it out in the privacy of the Duchess's room. The Captain and her had history, long history. Surely their bond was strong enough to sustain one soulless freak.

"I'm in love with Vaena. She's the first person I've ever felt vulnerable and comfortable around, the first person I've ever been able to be completely honest and unguarded around. I didn't know that I'd appreciate that feeling, but her presence is enthralling. I have feelings, and I intend to develop them with her for as long as she'll have me." Dimeria smiled at Vaena, smoothing out her hair along her shoulder. Things were going to be awkward for them to start with but they'd find their groove and it would get easier.

"I know it will reflect poorly on her and I would beg of you to help me keep our involvement a secret. Help me ensure that it is never more than a rumor with no evidence and to tell me if it is ever brought to light or others intend to use our relationship against the Duchess. As much as I want to be with her, I cannot allow my presence to be her downfall."

"You are...very good at this," Karina managed between heated kisses. However, when the human tried to direct her towards the sofa, she was not pushed down that easily. Her hands roamed over the redhead's delectable body.

"Down with you," she ordered. "Yees...right there," she moaned in pleasure when Laira nibbled and sucked on her ears. Eldorai ears were very sensitive and hers were no different. Pulling the human closer, she kissed her excitedly, while trying to take control over the pace. Karina was not a strong Sciian, but she had some empathic abilities, and so she tried to make use of them.

One might wonder what type of response Ariawyn had expected, but it was definitely not this one. "Love? You are in love with her? You have no soul and known her for less than a week. It is a ruse or delusion. You have no aura. Merely an empty void. There is no way of discerning truth in your words because you are soulless. Duchess, this is ridiculous. You are dipping below your station." She looked outraged.

"I shall be the judge of that, thank you very much," Vaena looked equal parts angry and embarrassed. Her face was painted scarlet. Even she was shocked by Dimeria's admission. They had...only known each other for a few days. Vaena did not love the Force Dead Knight, but she would not let her be maltreated.

"I have spent all my life trying to fit into a neat box others made for me. Your dedication does you credit, Ariawyn. You are a loyal friend, and a good soldier. I appreciate it. But I will not let you insult and cast aspersions upon a friend of mine who has done you no harm. You have no faith in her. Then have faith in me. I am no naive child, though some think my 'kind heart' is weakness. I swore a vow to restore House Cadalthor to glory and by the Goddess I shall. Now leave us alone."

"Vaena, this is madness. This path will lead you only to damnation," Ariawyn said sharply. "Fool. You're too kindhearted for your own good. You may have fooled the Duchess, but I am watching you, soulless one. If you lead her into temptation and wickedness, I shall end you."

Laira was loving the attention and kissing, her cheeks flushing. Karina was enjoying having her ears nibbled on, her emotions shifting suddenly when the redhead's teeth nibbled at the lobes. Knowing that, Laira's hand drifted to the other ear and began massaging the lobe and the ear itself expertly. She was pretty good with her hands after all.

While unsure, Laira did twist around so that she would be beneath Karina, pulling the woman to slip on top of her as she lowered, currently in heaven with all the attention and touching that she had wanted all along. "Mmm, you're exquisite." One hand on her ear, the other on her buttocks, Laira gasped, struggling with the Eldorai to keep control by wrapping her legs around Karina's to help hold her in place and wiggling around excitedly.

Karina was heating up, Laira's Phero-Jewelry was emitting a weakened version of those pheromones produced by Zeltrons. And it was clearly working as the Eldorai's emphatic abilities touched Laira's mind, she rebounded with her own minor talents with empathy, hungrily breathing as she continued to work on Karina's ears.

"I DIDN'T ASK TO BE THIS WAY!" Dimeria's voice was filled with anger suddenly and the previously calm Knight was standing, her eyes deep crimson. She took deep breaths, fists tense with white knuckles. Her muscular shoulders rose and fell a few times as she breathed deeply. "I don't know her well, but I know that I feel relaxed and at peace around her. That I feel as though I can be myself without fear of judgement or reproach in her presence, that I can be honest with how and what I feel. And that is enough to want to know her."

She didn't want for this to happen, she didn't want to create a rift between Vaena and one of her more loyal and longtime friends. It would be events like this that would cause the Duchess to peel away and grow to resent the young knight. Then she would be alone again, and Vaena could end up that way as well. The young knight needed to save this relationship or walk away, she needed to ensure her presence didn't isolate the Duchess alone at the top of a wellspring of those that wished her harm.

"Ariawyn, I am not asking you to like me. I am asking for you to help keep Vaena safe from her enemies at court." Her red eyes filled with sapphire blue, "Please. She needs you now, much more than she needs me. Help us."

Ariawyn was about to leave the room, when suddenly Dimeria erupted like a volcano. Seeing the blood-red eyes, the former Angelii reached for her Sarix. "Stop!" that single word gave her pause. It came from Vaena. The soldier's hand remained close to her scabbard, but she did not draw.

Deep breaths, deep breaths. "I am trying to keep her safe," she said as calmly as she could once she'd regained her composure. "And that involves not giving her emotional entanglements with others," she sighed. "She will not budge. So I shall do my duty and keep her safe."

With that she turned and left. She did not storm out, bang the door or do anything similarly melodramatic. It was a simple, relatively dignified exit. The pair was left alone in the chamber, in a state of considerable awkwardness.

Vaena was swiftly at Dimeria's side. "Dimeria, I'm...so sorry. Ariawyn is...very set in her ways. She had no right to say the things she did about you. Look at me. I am deeply sorry that joining me has caused you such grief. You do not deserve any of it." At a loss for words, she hugged the Force Dead Knight.

Meanwhile, Karina was having a jolly time. Zeltron pheromones, empathic abilities and a good deal of fondling produced an exquisite cocktail. Also Laira was sucking on her air. Eldorai ears were...extremely sensitive. Excitement overtook the Eldorai aristocrat and she kissed Laira heatedly with great passion. A very pleased sigh escaped her throat.

As Ariawyn left the room Dimeria nodded to her somberly, hurt by all that had happened and what had been said, but respectful enough to give ground and stand aside. "For that much I thank you," the young woman said to the Guardian as she past.

The door clicked closed and Vaena was beside the knight, offering her kind words. Empathy and kindness to a relative stranger, what more could a servant ask of their lady? "She had the right to speak her mind, she didn't say anything she didn't believe to be true." Even if the words hurt her, Dimeria wasn't certain she had a soul. She didn't believe there was an afterlife waiting for her like the many other religions born of the Force. The Knight had only this one life to live with nothing but void and emptiness after her death. A release from the pain of loneliness that she had suffered, may still suffer.

The woman smiled and her eyes shifted once more to a soft violet, sadness and affection. "You didn't bring this on me, I brought it onto you, miini txiin. I do not want you to be alienated from your friends." She took Vaena into her arms, holding the Eldorai tightly to her strong muscular frame, "Are you sure you want to keep me knowing Ariawyn feels so strongly. I would not think less of you if you didn't." She would be heartbroken and sad, but sometimes one had to sacrifice for others and Dimeria would much prefer it be her doing the sacrificing rather than be the cause of Vaena's pain.

X

Laira grinned, her cheeks a deep crimson as the Eldorai hungrily kissed her. She was certainly feeling enough passion to make any massage she gave Grade A, but hadn't quite gotten what she wanted. The princess wanted Karina to be willing to give something in return. The redhead stopped nibbling on the aristocrat's ear but kept the steady rubbing and massaging with her one hand.

Between shortened breaths and giggles of excitement she asked, "Do you still want that foot massage? Or have you decided on something else?"

[member="Laira Darkhold"]

"She does. She peaks her mind. It is why I asked her to serve me," Vaena sighed. "It does not make her stance less upsetting." Dimeria's strong arms wrapped around, pulling the Eldorai into a close embrace against the human's stronger, more muscular frame. It gave her some comfort.

Then came the big question. Dimeria's presence would complicate matters. She could not imagine Ariawyn betraying her, but might she recant her oath and leave? Her guard also spoke true when it came to her family's reaction. Even if they were discreet, rumours would arise. It would be so easy to regretfully bid Dimeria farewell...

"Yes," she said quietly, almost in a whisper. She repeated the word in a stronger, more confident tone. "Yes. I have made a decision and I stand by it. I would like you to stay at my side." Leaning forward, she kissed the Knight on the cheek.

"Are you sure you have never been with an Eldorai before? You certainly know how to get a lady interested." Karina asked, looking very satisfied. The caressing and petting caused a pleasured sigh to escape her. Her cheeks were flushed and her pupils dilated. She was also rather sticky in certain areas, but this one digresses.

"My feet should love your touch, as my ears do. Come here, my sweet, delightful human," sitting down on the couch, she removed her shoes. Naturally they were very fancy high heels. Presumably her back would eventually end up hating her for wearing them.

"Its good that you have friends that will speak their minds," Dimeria smiled grateful that Vaena was being rather protective of the Knight. It wasn't that Dimeria thought she needed the protection, just that she was enjoying having someone that cared so much about how she felt to protect her for that. It was nice getting to be open and vulnerable for once, even if she was soulless as far as she was concerned.

The raven-haired knight returned the Duchess's kiss, grinned, eyes turning pinkish in hue. It was funny how her eyes did that, changed color with her mood. It made controlling her emotions necessary to keep them hidden otherwise her eyes would shift and give away her general mood. Happy or emotionless, her eyes were vibrant purple. Angry they were red, blue for sad or somber, and pink for affectionate and aroused.

Her finger traced little circles on Vaena's shoulder, "Well, I must say, I am very grateful to be kept. I would have been very sad if I had to leave, before our," She paused and licked her lips, "Delicate negotiations. As it turns out, you being all authoritative and in charge does it for me."

X

"Nope, but some guys love getting their ears nibbled." She assumed. The princess was certain she had read as much in a tabloid somewhere. Regardless, the redhead shifted a little to accept the aristocrats feet in her lap as she began rubbing them gingerly, starting with the instep and working her way to the pads.

"So," she asked slyly, obvious fishing for something for herself as she worked on Karina's feet. Feet weren't her thing, but she was still blushing contentedly from their amorousness that it might have appeared that way to an onlooker. "How about after this, you show me a, less traditional eldorai dance. One with lots of hip movement."

Vaena raised her eyebrow. "Oh, really? Perhaps a role reversal in our bed is in order then. I do find the image of you being mine to command rather appealing." That was a needlessly complicated way of saying 'I'd like to be on top'. But them duchess had grown up in a rather formal environment in an Ashiran cloister. It had left its mark on her, even after she became a soldier. Regardless, she pulled Dimeria close and kissed her deeply.

Feet might not be Laira's thing, but judging from the pleasured moans escaping Karina's throat, the blonde elf was clearly enjoying her ministrations. She liked nothing more than being the centre of attention, someone others fawned upon and sought to please.

However, Laira's words caused her to frown slightly. Sure the human merely jested. "Dance? I do not perform for others. It is not appropriate for a lady," she huffed, "though I am a phenomenal ballroom dancer, far superior to my sister. But I have a servant who excels at sensual dances. Would you like to watch her - and play with her? She could join us in bed. I would love to enjoy you." Obviously the aristo assumed that Laira would want to sleep with her - because how could she not want to?

Dimeria grinned, "Oh you do, do you? I would say don't get to used to it, but I have a feeling I won't mind the switch every now and again." She leaned backwards, falling out of Vaena's grasp and onto the sofa that sat in the middle of the room, collapsing onto the comfortable cushions. "What's first then, my Duchess?" Dimeria could certainly wait until afterwards to begin sharing feelings and history, desires and goals could all wait until after a few moments of tenderness and passion.

X

Laira didn't stop kneading the Eldorai's feet, but she did get noticeably less skilled and involved at it as she continued, gradually shifting her efforts down as she worked. The redhead frowned a little, "You probably don't want competition for my attention. That wouldn't be befitting of your stature or beauty Lady Karina to have a servant girl distracting me from you." She purred, dripping honey and false promises into her words. If the Princess was being honest, adding in a servant who was probably much nicer would likely result with Karina being ignored, but she couldn't be honest and get what she wanted.

"Do you remember what I said about passion? If it is not mutual it becomes bland and without it your partner is just going through the motions no matter how beautiful you are." Laira smiled, trying to lure the Eldorai back to what she wanted with a little sweet words and temptation, while not answering Karina's questions and pressing for what she wanted. "Which is not to say it wouldn't be good, just that it wouldn't be AS good. Every now and then you have to stoke my fires in return is all. One dance, you have a very commanding presence so I wouldn't dare instruct one as skilled and svelte as you in the art of dance, and then I'll give you a full body massage, fully enamored and impassioned. Even rub on your ears again while I'm at it." She winked, hoping that would be enough.

It seemed that right now Vaena wanted to postpone sharing of history and desires in favour of indulging in carnal passions for a few moments. "Presently I believe you are...far too overdressed," she remarked, kissing Dimeria. "Undress yourself. Show me what you have to offer me," she ordered commandingly.

xxx

"I am a highborn lady of the Eldorai. A mere servant girl cannot compete with my grace and radiant beauty. Any plebeian should be grateful that I deign to her a moment of my time, let alone touch my perfect form," Karina declared in a most pompous tone that dripped with haughtiness. There was no doubt in her mind that any plebeian looked like an ugly duckling compared to her.

Still, the human was good at what she did. "But you have...pleasured me well. One dance - that is all. But you must swear that you will speak no word of this to anyone," she said in an unusually commanding voice.

Dimeria still had feminine curves, but lined with corded muscle and toughened sinew beneath the skin. She grinned, and did as instructed, turning slowly to face away from Vaena as she slipped out of the robe and it pooled in the floor. The raven haired knight flexed her arms and back so that Vaena could feel the taunt muscles as she desired. "Do you like?"

X

Laira struggled, but did manage not to roll her eyes at Karina's exclamations about her perfect form. It was very nearly perfect, but contained a very ugly personality that made spending time with her difficult. Glorifying her was also difficult, but hopefully it would pay off for her in the end. Her hands continued to rub the woman's feet as Karina finally relented.

The redhead clapped her hands together excitedly, "Oh, I swear. I wouldn't share such a treat with anyone, I'm greedy like that. If I tell people then its not just mine anymore." Laira seemed to ignore the commanding tone, but was happy to agree to it, her love life wasn't exactly an open book anyway.

Laira scooted around to sit on the couch and adjust her dress, smoothing it out in anticipation.

"I do," Vaena said quietly, reaching out with her hand to caress the broad, taut muscles. On average, Eldorai were more slender and nimble than humans. With enough effort, an elf could obviously acquire muscle mass, but they were built for dexterity and agility, not raw strength.

Thus it was a bit exotic for her. "Beautiful," her hand ran across Dimeria's shoulders and arms. Muscles shifted and bunched beneath her long fingers. Moving down, she spent some time exploring the Force Dead Knight's taut stomach, before kissing her neck. "On to my bed with you."

xxx

Meanwhile, Laira got to enjoy an erotic dance. It was truly dripping with sensuality, for Karina had more grace than a professional Zeltron dancer. Verily, no one could shake those hips the way she could. Well...sadly the whole display was a bit of a letdown.

Karina was good at many things. Sadly, she was not half as skilled as she thought she was. There was just something missing in her display. It was a letdown. Bit like being dragged to your bedroom by a seductive vampiress and then having the most boring vanilla sex imaginable.

xxx

"Oh, Captain, there you are. Is the Duchess...still in conference? There are some matters I must bring to her attention," Ariawyn's exit was interrupted by one of Vaena's secretaries. This one had already served Tarissa Cadalthor as an aide.

"Her Grace is indisposed," the Guard Captain said gruffly.

"Is she really in conference with that...soulless thing she let the monkeighs inflict on court?" the aide seemed to shudder at the thought.

"Her Grace is discussing matters that are none of your concern," Ariawyn's eyes fell upon the datapad the aide was carrying. "Give that to me. I will give it to her when she has the time."

"I am afraid it is rather delicate. House Laskaris has expressed a desire to marry one of its sons to her. They are very wealthy and influential. Such an arrangement would show that Cadalthor is still in the game. Of course, if she is so close to an abomination, inappropriate rumours might fly. They might endager any accord. Our liege is a good woman, but her judgement is not always the best. Her throne is standing on thin ice."

"Let me tell you this as calmly and clearly as I can," Ariawyn began. "Her Grace is the Duchess. It is our duty to serve her. That means it is your duty to dismiss vile slander and represent her interests. And let me worry about the thin ice. Understood?"

"I would, but..."

"There are no buts. You have a job to do. Go do it. Send a polite reply with the usual platitudes to her suitors. You're good at coming up with them."

Laira was hardly impressed with the Eldorai's dance, but she was very impressed with the Eldorai anyway. Karina didn't have that spark that made dancing fun or good, however Laira was attracted to the posterior anyway. Something she got from her father and one of the many reasons she fell hard for another blind redhead.

Eventually Laira had seen enough, "A dance like that deserves a proper massage. Lay down on your stomach and I'll give you a rub down for a while." The princess was getting the affection she wanted, the little bit of ego that even with someone that hated her, Laira could turn it around until they were willing to do things especially for her.

X

Dimeria leaned her head backwards, sighing at Vaena's kiss. She was having to fight with her own hands, forcing them to keep from reaching behind her and taking control, grabbing the duchess. Instead she kept her fists, white knuckle tight as she complied with a sensual tone, bending at the waist to crawl on the bed on all fours, trying her best to go with the compliant attitude and let Vaena take charge. "As my duchess wishes."

X

Outside the rooms her aide sat reading a book while the Knight paced across the room that had been readied for them, that Laira would eventually retire too. After several minutes, the dark haired woman closed the book and looked at the Knight, "I swear, if we have to pay to have the deck replaced because you carve a path through it with your pacing the Queen Mother will be most displeased."

He waved her off without a word, just continuing his pacing. His armor was still on, but the helmet was sat upon the foot of the bed.

"Ser Auric, please. Relax, the princess is far more of a prude than she lets on. And she's a well trained warrior. Better than you I'd wager."

The knight scoffed, "I'm not worried about her virtue, I'm worried she won't come back with us. That she'll have someone waiting on Tygara to pick her up and run back into the outer rim."

"Oh, well then you might like to know she has an X-Wing waiting for her on Tygara already. I made the call for it before we left." The woman said, going back to her book as if that was the end of the conversation. Clearly it was not, but she more or less ignored the ramblings of the Knight, focusing on her book. The Order had clearly not bothered to tell him she wouldn't be returning to Alderaan.

Karina was, of course, wholly in the dark about the fact that she just was not good at dancing. At least not at sensual, erotic dancing. She would probably do a lot better in a more formal environment. However, Laira's words pleased her. Ideally this would be a massage with a happy ending. How could it not? The human's attraction to her was undeniable.

"Ah, you are so gracious. You and I shall have such an enjoyable time together, my sweet," she gushed. So she did as the cute redhead asked and laid down. "There are some oils in the cabinet over there," she spoke. She took her massages very seriously, after all.

xxx

"I know this is hard for you," Vaena said softly. "But you will find there is pleasure in submission. No responsibility. No need to be in control. Just a duty to give yourself over to your Lady and adore her," her breath brushed against Dimeria's ear, caressing it. "As a Knight should." With a casual gesture, she opened a footlocker, removing some Force imbued cuffs. The scene faded to black...

xxx

While Karina got a massage, Vaena got laid again and good Ser Auric paced and brooded, Ariawyn was not idle either. Alas, she could not retire to her quarters and pursue carnal passions. After shooing off the secretary, she'd ended up in the communications room.

"Sweep," she removed a small crystal-like object from her pocket. In reality, it was a sophisticated scanning device, Force imbued. She waited for a few moments. Once she was satisfied that the room had not been bugged, she put the device away. Heading towards one of the projectors, she pressed a button, placing a call to Tygara.

It took a few moments, until the holographic shape of Zahra Jai Nasrin manifested inside the chamber. She was undoubtedly an elf, as the pointed ears proved, but not an Eldorai. Her skin was dusky, more tanned than that of any Eldorai, and she had eyes like molton gold. Part of her face was obscured by a veil. Exotic tattoos covered her right hand. "Captain, you reach out to us sooner than expected. Did the Duchess' visit go as planned?" she asked in somewhat accented Eldarai. "You seem unsettled," she observed.

"The Duchess is returning with guests and a new addition to her retinue. We are to be most welcoming." Rather than reply in Eldarai, Ariawyn spoke in the Qadiri's native tongue. Zahra's command of Eldarai was considerably less accented.

Zahra raised a delicate eyebrow, taking note of the brusque tone. "Is this one a cause for concern?" she used Qadiri, too.

"She may be bringing a daemon home."

"Oh," Zahra's unflappable expression did not seem to change. But then the veil helped. "When the Outsiders first descended upon Tygara in their ships of metal, many of us believed they were Daeva made flesh. Others believed you were goddesses coming to judge us. The revelation that you were alike to us was a valuable lesson to me. Since Her Grace is bringing this 'daemon' home, I imagine we should extend our full hospitality towards them."

"Yes," Ariawyn spoke through gritted teeth. "Prepare accommodations for her guests. Our Duchess is very eager to make friends offworld."

"The Eldorai have too few of those. The challenge is to choose the right ones. She sits on the throne, we ensure she stays there. I would know more of this daemon you speak of. You can pass on to Her Grace that the negotiations with the Maharani went well. She is willing to grant us the concessions we desire and is open-minded on the issue of slavery. With some strings attached."

"There are always strings. What does she want?"

"Let us just say that she has her own ideas about who should be the next Saoshyant and that she would like a close, binding union with House Cadalthor." Suddenly, she leaned forward. "There is much commotion at the Dragon's Lair. Visitors going hither and thither. Our Lady should take note."

Laira was very skilled with her hands, however her massage seemed to be centered on the object of her own admiration, as she straddled Karina's rear in order to preform it. Occasionally grinding against or squeezing the Eldorai's rump while she rubbed oils into the woman's muscles with expert finesse. Otherwise it was a normal massage, focusing on easing stress and letting the redhead get a feel for her companion.

Eventually, the princess began rubbing the Aristocrats pointed ears gently once again, as she had to much of the elf's delight earlier. She cooed in a soft voice, "Do you like this? More or less pressure?"

~

Ser Auric continued his pacing, but now had turned his attentions to his companion, the dark haired woman in a white dress. "Why wasn't I told she wouldn't be returning?"

The woman shrugged, looking up from her book just long enough to answer. "You'll have to ask the Queensward when we return, as he was there when the Princess informed me she needed a ship ready for her at our destination. However, why you are not in the inner circle of trust is none of my concern." There were developments with Sera Nuran that would be aleivating some of the duress. Perhaps the Royal Family had decided to play things very close to the vest about their plans for the Princess.

The knight scowled, but slumped down on the couch opposite of the woman. "Ugh, at least I won't have to be stuck on Tygara dealing with foreign politics."

"There you go, look at the bright side and try not to think about Dame Nykerian and Princess Organa getting amorous in the rooms next to ours." She smiled and went silent, hearing his groans with a grin on her face.

The chat between Ariawyn and Zahra continued for a bit. Here and there, the Qadiri made notes. Despite all the technological innovations, she staunchly refused to use datapads, preferring to apply the written word to paper. Being introduced to the wonders of modern technology had been the equivalent of jumping several millennia in time for the Qadiri woman.

"Where should I send the welcoming committee? The Duchess' estate or the worldship?" she asked after she was done.

"Make it the worldship," Ariawyn spoke after thinking for a moment. The surface would be the final destination. Our future may lie in the stars, she thought a bit ruefully. Some Eldorai had begun to refer to the colony ships as 'Craftworlds'. She found the name ridiculous.

"It shall be done. Oh, and do you believe our guests would like some special attention for the night? Should I select some suitable members of Her Grace's harem?" Outsiders might consider the question a bit strange, but it was completely normal in Eldorai noble families.

Ariawyn looked just a bit awkward. "Leave that for Her Grace," she grunted. "Tighten the security protocols. Inform Host Leader Kirshud that she is in command. I want her to muster the best of the Draconian Guard. I want anyone who attends the gathering to be vetted. Especially Her Grace's relatives."

"They will not like it," Zarah pointed out, though there was a gleam of amusement in her green eyes.

"That's their problem."

"Very well. I shall see you when you leave the void. I wish you good tidings."

xxx

Karina was noticeably less butt-crazy than...the majority of this one's characters. Still, the attention her rump got was nice. She enjoyed being the centre of attention and it showed. Appreciative moans and soft purrs escaped her as the human lapped attention on her. Laira was...good with her fingers.

However, Karina really started enjoying it when the human worked on her ears again. She'd already forgotten how inappropriate Laira had been on Alderaan. "More," she gasped, moaning deeply, leaning into the human's touch as pleasure shot through her extremely sensitive ears. Some of it might have spilt over to Laira via the Eldorai's mild empathic abilities. Her breathing intensified and she sighed in contentment.

xxx

And so things faded to black in Vaena's room. Presumably the Duchess and the Force Dead Knight would wake up a bit later. Suffice to say the queen sized bed would be put to good use during this interval. It would probably also be a good deal more disordered...

Laira had no issue applying a little more pressure and drawing her fingers against the lobes of the pointed elven ears to all along the tips, alternating her movements so as not to get into a rhythm but to keep hitting Karina with waves of different sensations. The redhead was quite pleased with herself, having won the argument with Karina and become the fixation of her attention and affections, she'd even got a lovely dance out of it and gotten a significant amount of one on one time with a lovely caboose. The princess continued snuggling that very same rear-end, however she did lean over and begin nibbling at the aristocrats ears to go with her massage.

~

Dimeria wrapped herself around Vaena, pulling the Eldorai close and pressing her skin against the Duchess's. "Well, that was, different." Her voice was still gasping between purrs of satisfaction. "I wouldn't mind that every now and again." The ravenhaired woman pressed her face into the Eldorai's neck. It wouldn't be long before they both had to adopt a facade, maintain appearances, and present a lie to the public. Eventually they might be able to be together, really, but for now these occasional escapes would have to suffice.

"Why don't you tell me more about yourself."

The fade to black curtain was lifted. Fortunately for the kiddies, there were blankets and stuff. Rest assured, dear reader, that no details would be left out if this was a thread featuring gratuitous, sadistic violence. After all, an invasion or a genocide never hurt anyone's innocence.

Rant aside, we shall move on with the plot. "I am glad to hear that," Vaena said happily, wrapping an arm around Dimeria. The Force Dead Knight's question caused her to frown slightly. "What would you like to know? I am afraid my people have produced better warriors. Many of my battle sisters could regale you with more glorious tales of valour. Former battle sisters," she amended after a moment, sounding a bit rueful.

"And my house has birthed more accomplished leaders. We can trace our lineage back to Anais the Dragon, one of the greatest Queens to ever rule over the Eldorai. One of her cousins founded our house. But that was centuries past. I suppose you did not seek a lecture on ancient history. I apologise...I am not accustomed to this manner of discussion," she said a bit awkwardly.

"I was raised under the care of the Priestesses of Ashira. I learned to work hard, be pious and follow Her commandments. When my Sciia powers manifested during a fire, I was sent to the Angelii to serve Her and Her viceroy the Star Queen as a warrior. I chose the name Askari as my surname on that day. It means soldier in our language."

Dimeria laughed a little, burying her face into the duchess's neck. "Yes, about you, not ancient history or politics. What do you want most? What drives you and gives you purpose, a zest for life? Your favorite foods and drinks." The Knight relaxed, shifting around so she faced the ceiling with a contented sigh. She had a lot of contentment for the moment, more than she had felt in a long time but it was not to last.

"Here, I'll answer all those since so you can think about them for a second." Sadly most of those would be simple for the Force Dead Knight. "Well, what I want most is someone I feel safe and relaxed with, that I don't need to have the barriers of expectations or codes between. Someone I can simply be with, comfort and find comfort in."

"My purpose is well, I am a Knight. I am responsible for upholding the honor and traditions of Alderaan and my Order, but those don't really give me much zest. I prefer art. Painting is my passion, I'm just not very good at it." The raven-haired woman giggled like a schoolgirl, something she hadn't done since she was a child. She felt comfortable right now, with any luck so did her companion. "My favorite food is Aplis Red Snapper grilled and served over rice, paired with a strong red wine."

"And for good measure, I like the short hair look best." Her hand stroked the long brown locks Vaena kept on her head, "But the long flowing locks is a close second."

"Oh, so I will not have to cut my locks short, yes? I am quite attached to the way they are. I suppose I shall just invoke autocrat's privileges and order all the ladies of my court to wear their hair long so that I do not have anyone outshining me," Vaena said in clear and evident jest. The banter seemed to have soothed her a bit.

"I am...well, my purpose has always been set for me. Service. Duty. Honour. Granted, now I am responsible for more than just myself or a small company of soldiers. I have a duty to protect the Eldorai people and do the will of the Goddess. If needs be, I shall die for them. Equally I must restore the honour of my house and lead it in such a manner that serves the Eldorai," she paused for a moment.

"I believe in Ashira and the other deities of the pantheon, as you know. When I doubt, I seek solace in Her. She may not reveal herself physically in this age, but I see her labours in all that is good in the world," at that she gave Dimeria a look.

"I have never been one for art, but I would be willing to try. I was part of the Angelii choir and I like to think I have a pleasant singing voice." Choir girl had been her nickname in the Angelii. "I like being out and about and enjoy riding and hunting. I am rather fond of lemon cakes. suppose I would like someone who, well, accepts me for myself. Someone who looks past the name or title."
