Kandosii would let out a grunt at Koda's response, refusing to tell him what the matter was. He'd let out a sigh as he kicked up his feet and leaned back in his feet, staring out the viewport as he watched the rush of light as they entered hyperspace on their way to Atrisia. For the first time in many many years the clone would raise his hands up to his head, firmly grasping the sides of his helmet as he lifted it up and off his head. As far as appearances went, Kandosii would probably still look exactly as Koda had remembered, albeit with salt and pepper colored hair and a slightly scruffier stubble along the lower half of his face.

Kandosii raised a hand up to his chin, running it along his stubble as he stared out the viewport, only glancing down at the area the artificial voice came from. He looked over at Koda before speaking, " Koda? That what you go by now? Sure picked a cute little name for yourself. " He'd let out a chuckle before it died back down as Koda talked about the order. He'd let out a sigh as he raised a hand to run it along his buzzcut head. " Lot of good people died...Civilians, friends, brothers...All for one huge lie. "

The Bounty Hunter didn't bother speaking for a few moments, sinking back into remembrance as the origin of his name became a question in his own, a sad thought really now all was said and done. "I didn't pick it." Which was true, he didn't- Evonne did. Suggested it, but ultimately the decision was his. It was the thought that count, and now it was the thought that hurt. A literal shake of the head removed the thought from the focus of his mind, shifting somewhere into the dark corners of it. Lingering in the darkness.

As for the second sentence that came dribbling from Kandosii's mouth? No response, for it was exactly that; dribble. Fett didn't bother glancing off to Kandosii's revealed head either, it had no interest in the individual. Instead the void encapsulated his imagination, flickering ahead before him with an array of blue-ish colours. Then it was at that point the realisation that Kandosii didn't know who Evonne was crossed his mind. Oh.

Kandosii perked up as he looked over at Koda as he mentioned he wasn't the one that picked out his name for himself. His arms cross over his chest as he tilts his head, a bit curious as he decided to move the conversation on from the order. It was a bad time for the both of them, no point in talking further about it. He gave his brother a smirk as he spoke up, " Oh? I'm sure there was some charming story behind it. Care to share? "

The Fett clone raised his arms up from his chest as he crossed them to cradle the back of his head. This was a rare moment that might not come to pass again once the two brothers parted ways. He might as well learn as much of his brother as he could to retain something to hold onto in the hear and now.

The design of this vessel was strange, designed to be navigable once landed but otherwise impossibly. Fett cursed that flaw right about now when he found himself trapped in this cockpit with Kandosii. "No." The callous Bounty Hunter replied, entirely disconnected from any feeling at this point in time. Only tragedy, a sob story that nobody cared for- not even himself. It wasn't something he shared, ever. Period. It removed a layer of mystery concerning Fett, and if one knew, then two would know. So on and so forth. Stories about infamous men always circulated.

"Where'd you go after the disbandment?" Hopefully that would take his attention off Koda, and instead upon himself. Hell, maybe a story that lasted the entirety of this trip could be spilled. What a treat.

Kandosii would lower his hands from his head as he leaned back forward with a quiet tch, as Koda denied him a personal story of how he went from becoming ARC Trooper Doubles to Bounty Hunter Koda. He would shake his head before shrugging; If there was something that never suited Doubles from Scrapper's memory, it was him being the quiet, brooding type. That was more of something that Aay'han usually took after.

Kandosii leaned forward as he ran his hand back over his buzzcut head after being asked to recount what happened to him after Clawbird was disbanded. " Where do I even start? After our team got disbanded I was reassigned to the Outer Rim. They made me a commander in charge of the 832nd. Great bunch of boys...Had a lot of good times, some bad, never quite measured up to the stunts we pulled as Clawbird though. " He'd give a brief chuckle as he thought back to his times as a commander. Then he was reminded of how they had all turned on one another due to conflicting orders; the ones that stood with him in disobeying 66 and those that followed it.

Fett never suited Manda for a leadership role, he always was the man to move ahead of the rest with the big gun and not focus on much else. It wasn't as if that really mattered, but now that he still had that Z-6, it told Koda he combined both roles into one. Might of even been good to see. Might of. It's true, though. Koda resembled Aay'han now more than anything else. The distant individual who didn't say all that much, only when he needed to. Funny how you turn into the things you don't want to most.

"Where did 'Kandosii Manda' come from?" Oddly enough, Koda didn't particularly care. It was an alias, just as Koda Fett was. It was the ditching of the 'pet' names and turning themselves into something real, something tangible. He'd be lying if he said there wasn't a hint of curiosity, however.

Kandosii reached down and patted his trusty Z-6 rotary cannon, having named it Talon as a sentimental remembrance to his former unit. Just like he had done with Clawbird, he led his men into battle by taking to the front. Perhaps that was what earned him the respect and loyalty of his men from the start; his willingness to throw himself into danger and be there at the front to lead by example. He always was good at that.

As Koda asked where the origin of his name came from, he lifted his hand off his Z-6 and crossed his arms over his chest, " You brushed up on your Mandalorian right? Pretty sure you can connect the dots from there. " As it was, his name quite literally translated to indomitable warrior spirit from Mandalorian. He decided to not take up the name of Fett like many of his brothers, not wanting to share the name that had slaughtered hundreds across the Galaxy following Order 66. His will would not be broken, nor his spirit.

That's one area they differed on then, not to the count the plethora of others. Koda took up the name Fett as he believed himself a 'son' of Jango, for in a matter of speaking he was. It was his blood, his family, and so on. Though not much of that family remained, even now when it transcended into a larger Mandalorian Clan. It had since dwindled, in truth. It's numbers never able to reach a great height, instead favouring their independence and infamy even among Mandalorians. It suited Koda just a fine, even as a prospective Mand'alor in the eyes of few others.

"Right." Fett replied, allowing the conversation to die at that point. The Bounty Hunter wasn't a man of words, and perhaps the comfortable silence is what would make this process all the more easier. Until, that is, Kandosii started back up again. If Koda remembered anything about the man it was that he could never let his mouth run dry.

Kandosii leaned back in his seat, crossing his arms over his chest as he closed his eyes to rest them a bit. His chest heaved from under his chest plate as he allowed himself to relax after a long time. He was always on edge, even if it never seemed like he was nervous, just constantly alert. Being in the presence of his long-lost brother had just put his mind to ease and allowed him a chance of respite as they made their way to Atrisia.

A lengthy amount of silence followed as it almost seemed like Kandosii had dozed off. It would only later be broken as his voice spoke up, " So how much of a poodoo storm is the galaxy in now? I assume you've been around the block a while to know what the hell's been happening. " His eyes remained closed as he spoke.

A brief glance found it's way from the vortex to Kandosii's face. Visor meeting eyes, a swivel in his seat allowing him to at the very least look as if he was offering the majority, if not all, of his attention. Where to begin? There was all too much to be said about the state of the galaxy- and it was an effort for one to drop a metric tonne of information regarding the state of the galaxy to someone who knew quite literally nothing about it.

"It's war. Sith and the First Order pit themselves up against the Galactic Alliance and the Silver Jedi. The Mandalorians are everywhere at once, tied into it all- led by a malignant growth; a child. Her followers... challenged, is the word I'd use." It's the most he'd talked all day, and that was saying something.

Kandosii was funnily enough not even looking at Koda as he leaned back in his seat with his eyes closed as if sleeping. He'd have to get caught up with all the latest events across the galaxy, which would be simple enough to gather information on at his own time and accord. He would pick up quickly once he had a general idea of what to get information on.

As Koda spoke about the numerous governments currently waging battle against each other his face seemed to have a fairly calm expression, as if it was something he was already anticipating. However, when he got around to the Mandalorians, Kandosii's face contorted as if he had just eaten an extremely sour food. He raised a brow followed by an eye as he looked over at Koda, " Say what now? "

A nod was offered in assurance, confirming the stupidity of the final fact. Memories of the Red Coronation blitzed across Fett's mind once more. It hadn't changed him internally, only forced him to move on elsewhere. Perhaps he was welcome on Mandalore still, but Koda made a promise not to return until the right preparations had been made. Evicting the child from the rubble of her throne, casting aside the poor approximation of Mandalorians that remained, taking in those that were worthy. Yet that would take time, a lot of it.

"Search the 'Red Coronation'." Knowing full well there is several accounts of intergalactic news of what happened there that day. Mentions of every detail, every death and every departure. A shame, really. Plenty of good men lost their lives. Fett persevered, however- he always did, maybe it was his curse? Living to fight another day when everyone died around him. Some may argue it was better to simply bite the dust.

Kandosii just scoffed in disbelief as he got out of his relaxed position and switched on the holonet, sifting through the news as he searched up what Koda had recommended. There would be a period of lengthy silence as Kandosii simply reading over all the details as his eyes darted left and right, scanning over the news as he read up on the 'Red Coronation'. After he was done reading through it he'd shake his head as he pinched the bridge of his nose and shook his head before sighing.

Kandosii just didn't know what to make of the situation he had just read up on before speaking, " You know... I've read some pretty disappointing news and seen some really stupid poodoo back in our time, but this...This is just an insult to the culture we learned from... " He was just baffled more than anything that a bunch of seasoned warriors would follow someone who lacked the experience that most veterans would have.

Fett let out a hefty exhale, a twinge of anger hidden within it. The seat rotated back around with the man, facing the blue vortex once more. "I'm told they're turning on the Sith." Both hands reaching forwards, pressing several buttons, "A mistake.." Kuat Drive Yards owed the man a favour, and what better favour then the opportunity to earn a plethora of credits? How truthful it was, Fett couldn't discern, but he hoped it was the truth. Koda considered himself a reputable man, and not a liar- plus, a certain sadistic joy was definitely going to be felt watching the Mantis Regime being torn to shreds.

The Mandalorian felt mixed feelings in regards to Mandalore itself these days. Those in charge now were nothing more than bumbling fools within his mind. Their creations bizarre and irrelevant, their actions resource consuming and without purpose. An agenda to be pushed, but too many to be fulfilled. When did the Mandalorians become friends with the galaxy? It was their job to install fear, to wage war. Now? Now none of it made sense.
