Jake lept out of his speeder and went to the edge of the roof of the building across from the alley where he had been told was his rendezvous point with the group that supposedly had information on a bounty that was about to come out. A bounty on his head nonetheless. He wanted to be sure he had a way out of the mess that could ensue if they were really only out for his bounty. As it stood right now, his ship was gone, destroyed, a pile of kriffing rubble. So he had this rental airspeeder on top of this building. he checked his armament, standard durasteel crap that probably wouldn't give him hardly any protection, but it was the intimidation factor that mattered, everyone knew the mandalorians, and the trick to surviving was to take calculated risks and cut your losses when you know you are going to lose. He activated his armor's hud and used his binocular function to scan the alleyway. Too many for me to take on in such a confined place. He would have to get them to come out of the alley, and to a rooftop or something. His jetpack would only be a valuable asset if he could actually use it to get away. before he had jumped ship, he grabbed two DC15s pistols known for their remarkable ability to constantly recharge their powerpacks. and holstered them on either side of his utility belt, and grab a verpine sniper rifle. if he had to fight, he would want most of his enemies gone before they could reach him. On his left arm, he had a mini missile launcher capable of firing missiles with enough explosive power to down an armored airspeeder, which he had two rockets left, and a flamethrower on his right. Hoping he wouldn't have to use any of his weapons, he used his helmet's hud to send a coded message, so softly that it would almost seem nonexistent, like static. Hoping they picked up on his matter of stealthiness, he watched and waited.
His comm link buzzed with confusion on his arm. He turned from the group checking it out. He pressed a few buttons before a message almost unnoticeable beamed on his mini-datapad on his belt. Orbit grabbed it off his belt and read the message. Quietly he equipped the small pad back to his belt and left the group in a silent fashion. As he reached a more desolate alley he took out the data pad once more and sent a message back to whom ever had sent a message to him. Then faded off into the darkness.
He saw a response in his hud, someone knows Binary code, he muttered. He hoped it had been one of the members of the group he would be getting assistance from. He decided it was worth another try. This time he simply targeted the communicator that had replied to him and hope he was right. He encoded and sent yet again another transmission.

Jax turned around to find the magnaguard standing there. With a little effort he didn't jump back with surprise at @A.D.A.M and his sudden appearance. "Uh, hey...thanks for the help. We could always use another hand. How did you know about all this going on?
Just then the communicators sounded. "Jax looked at his and found yet another coded signal. His first thought was that @A.D.A.M had sent it. "Did you send this... and what does it mean?" he wondered.
Orbit translated the text, with a furrowed brow he walked back to the group.
"We have a problem, the mando wants us on the roof. I don't like the idea of that, and I don't trust their kind. I may be bred from one of them but I ain't one, nor do I trust them. If we really need this guy I would recomend we tred carefully through this."
Jax looked over to[member="Farlon Orbit"] "So that's what that message was? It was just a bunch of numbers for me..." Jax looked at his message again. "Either way... we need him. He is the one we are supposed to get off planet before the bounty comes out...if we don't have him we don't have a job."
"If we need him than we have to get on the roof quickly. But becareful, if a man is to paranoid to walk into an alley of armed allies than I don't think we're his allies."
Jake listened carefully via a long range microphone he had attached to his rifle. he decided now would be a good time to send another message, but this time he would send it straight to their comlinks. He had enough of this code stuff and it had achieved the effect that he wanted by contacting the right people. glad that he could talk inside his helmet without fear of anyone hearing his voice around him he spoke a message. "It isn't that I don't view you as potential allies, but when there is a bounty on your head, I'd sure like to see you trusting your life to a few strangers. If I had a starship, I'd be off of this cesspit by now, but seeing as to how you are the best way off the planet, I opted to place some trust in you." He paused to think a moment. "Pick a building, and I will be there. Narrow alleys aren't good at providing multiple escape points."
Jax picked up the comlink. "Sounds reasonable to me... I'm sending the location of a building that we can get on top of easily. We will head that way."
(OOC: Going to log for now and wait for others to catch up)
Once the group reached the rooftop Jax scanned the area for the Mandalorian. He to was ready for anything but something told him everything was going to work out.
Jax stopped near the center of the roof and waited. If all went well they would be headed for the spaceport in the next few hours.
Jake watched the group, and none had blasters drawn, and their rifles weren't in the ready position. He had made it almost five blocks down the street by jumping rooftops and then he jetpacked across the street and had reached where he was now watching the group. time to make an entrance he thought and quickly ran towards them hopping roof after roof until he made it to the adjacent building. "so I hear you know about a bounty that is coming out on my head?" Jake asked them, keeping a watchful eye on the groups weapons.
Jax stepped forward out of the group. "That's correct. I have contacts that give me the information. I'm not particularly into bounty hunting...and besides it would draw a lot of suspicion if I started consistently bring in bounties before they were released. Instead it occurs to me that a lot of these individuals might be willing and able to pay for some assistance to get them off planet before the bounty is sent out to all the hunters. I've got another contact and a plan that, if you accept, we should be able to get you off this planet by noon tomorrow. The bounty is set to come out in the morning of the next day."
Jax walked just close enough to toss the data chip to [member="Jake Shukalar"] so he could view the information for himself.
This file could have been forged, but you would have gone through great effort to do so. Regardless I have no easy way to go unseen off of the planet, so it looks like you might be my only option to get off this filthy world, since you already know my name what's yours?
