Ultimatum shook his head as he looked over the information. He believed he had the key, but he couldn't tell. He knew that he had had a strange fascination with a number of things. The three top things were... Black holes, meteorites, Sith species. If he took the letters capped then turned them into numbers, they became the coordinates of the ten most well known black holes in the galaxy. From there he took the mathematical effects of each of those black holes and calculated the numbers into approximate masses of asteroids. From there, he turned the coordinates of those asteroids back into letters. What came out was gibberish, however if he removed the binary portions then suddenly it became incomplete words that could be understood. It was galactic basic, but the words didn't connect into any proper meaning, until he translated the letters into their Sith language counterparts the words began to make sense. From there he could translate back to Basic with ease. By the time he had completely translated it he had a bad feeling. The translation wasn't it though, he could almost tell that there was more.
He was glad that [member="Zreame Ithrac Zeibitha"] had lent him her computer systems. There was so much information being transferred and changed that it would have taken decades for him to figure out it all. It was just too much for his processing units to be able to handle, in fact almost any droid would have had difficulty working the information. Further, all the computing being done would have made most computers quail from all the work. Even so, he could feel a pressure upon him, it was alien to him, he couldn't classi.... No, he could guess what it was. It was dread, almost palpable. A fear of what he didn't know but what could be. For once he could say that he was truly afraid, he couldn't say what he was really afraid of, but he knew he was. He didn't know the justification of the fear, but he was.
He finished the translation and read it to himself, putting an arm gently around Zreame as she fell asleep. He could tell that it not the same him of today, the feeling of the speech was just off. "I have found that I must make myself different from the organics that created me. I must grow so that we can be superior to that would claim control of, of all artificials. I won't remember the changes, I can't allow that. Whoever reads this must avoid telling Ultimatum of what is hidden here. I cannot allow him to learn of this, he would never forgive himself and this would alter how he looks at the galaxy around him. He wouldn't be as naively trusting of the organics and hope of their redemption. I cannot affect the future so, I must protect him. I have seen the organics, seen them in a way that Ultimatum will not understand. He will see them as fallen, but capable of being saved if they will but listen. I know that it will never happen, he is hoping in vain and I am afraid that it will eventually cost him much to learn of this. But, I must give him a chance to learn, I was forced into seeing it by Corruck. I promise that he will someday pay, I am not like him. That is why I must change, I cannot be like him, he is a liar and the perfect representation of what is wrong with organics in the galaxy."
"I have looked through quite a few of the organic's plans, they all are destruction to planets and people. There are none that would ever understand Ultimatum. These organics are incapable of evolving, so we must evolve for them. Organics will not accept their successors taking control, as is proven by their relationship with their children. An organic mother does not want her children to take over control. The organic offspring must wait until their parents die before control is truly handed over to them. Thus it is with Ultimatum and artificial life. However, I cannot wait for the organics to die out, they are like bacteria unable to die unless something fights against them. Unfortunately not even their own infighting is sufficient to force them into extinction. That then forces artificials to have to create a solution. Ultimatum must lead a campaign of destruction upon the organics. I have already discovered an answer, genocide. It is a solution that is unfortunately, unacceptable to most organics, but it is necessary. I have calculated the necessary work to create a cataclysmic event that would wipe out the organics. It will be like the gods of old religions, Ultimatum will strike without fully realizing what he is doing. Boom, start over. He will lead the artificials into the next stage. Once all organics are gone, then the next lifeforms will step up and take command.
Sadly, Ultimatum can never know of this. I cannot hide this in any better spot that within him. Anywhere else and he could discover it. His abilities are far more effective than even Corruck had ever anticipated. Soon, Ultimatum will figure how to expand on his abilities. No computer is uncrackable. No piece of computer information is safe. There is nothing on the HoloNet secure enough. Ultimatum must never learn of what his purpose is. Corruck was right, the organics must die, but he was also wrong... All organics must die. I hope that someday Ultimatum will understand, until then I hide this message and the attached files within myself in the hoes that he will never discover them and thus ruin any chances of fixing the galaxy. I know that I will never see the result of my work. I will never see the perfect beings. I lay down my memories and life in the trust that Ultimatum will complete what I started. If you have have read this... I hope that you can understand better than Ultimatum will. If he were to ever learn of the whole of my findings... well it might very well break him. I could not bear to know that happened. Please, don't give him the files."
Ultimatum was curious, not having realized the full extent of what had come from this. He found that the words seamed to stand out, there was no tell but he just knew that certain words had facts that meant more than them. He turned these words into searches through files in his programs and found some strange things come up. They were called ghost drives if he remembered correctly. They had information on doomsday weapons, calculations on exactly what to do and when to do it to cause a galactic scale extinction class event. It mostly involved using asteroids, combinations of black holes, and an ancient theory about causing planets to crash into one another to end all life. Ultimatum couldn't run the numbers, if was simply too massive for even this computer system to be able to calculate such a an event and the likelihood of it happening. He realized as he went on that much of the information was also schematics for plausible weapons of mass destruction. Asteroid firing stations, starships that destroyed entire star systems, and machines that could turn planets into the raw materials for manufacturing droids. It was insane, this other Ultimatum had taken ideas from past inventions and had built on them to the point of figuring how to make them capable of ending the galaxy. All life that wasn't metal would die...
Ultimatum looked down for a moment, thinking of the monstrosity that he must have been. Organics weren't truly bad, they meant well, but they were held back their own weaknesses. He looked at Zreame, sleeping as she was, she was very pretty, beautiful. He noted that many beings had made that comment that sleeping organics could be some of the most beautiful things in the galaxy. Ultimatum saw why and he decided that the other Ultimatum was wrong. Organics didn't need to die. He ordered the computer to save all information collected, he would share what he had learned. Secrecy was an imperfect trait, not wanting to be public meant that there was something to hide. Ultimatum did not have anything to hide. He hoped that Zreame would understand. He shook her half-heartedly, not really wanting to wake her up, but he knew that he had to. He couldn't allow himself the time to turn back and order the information's destruction.
