I've known the man in question for a terribly long while - and if this makes its way up and through, it'll have been a very long time coming. This is overdue.

I am voting a fairly emphatic no here.

Perhaps I am judging too sternly, but I did a thorough examination of the threads listed and found most of them contained a handful of posts. Some of them featured two or even one.
There appears to have been no training to speak of, little to no PVP and what development was there was good but not enough.

Threads outside of this site cannot be used. They got him to Knight, and don't count any further.

I do not give out promotions simply because one has been waiting a long time. They must earn it with actions.

My advice to Judah is to keep working. Your writing is excellent, but not enough I deem to be made a master.

To be honest I am not sure I fully understand this. Threads outside of this site can get people transferred as Masters.. they are taken into account, so why not the threads of Padawan and Knight in other places.

I do not regard them as legitimate. Others may do so if they wish, though I doubt the wisdom of this. If it's not done here under these rules how can we apply our standards to it? I only vote based on what happens in this community.

People can transfer to a rank using stuff from other sites because that happens when they join. Once they're here though I expect people to earn promotion here.

I spent some time on the community where he comes from. If we're talking standards differentials, it takes about three times as much work to hit Knight there as it takes to hit Master here. I vote yes.

I've known Judah's writer for a few years now and they could handle 100 Master characters across 100 departments of RP. From training others, to leading a faction, to fair PvP, all the way down to just being a good example. Our PMs have always been swell and his plots have always been legendary. (And always included room for just one more red-head.)
