Khrad awoke in a panic. Where was he? Oh yeah... The damned forests of Batuu.

He had ran all night, weaving in and out of sensor range of the low-grade seeker droids sent after him. That damn girl, [member="Des Hailstar"] couldn't even afford a decent tracking droid. Just a few, extremely cheap ones. Must be her first time.

He sat up and stretched. All his joints cracking all at once as stood up to his full height. First thing on his mind, get back to Black Spire, get some deathsticks, find someone to kill. Use the money for more deathsticks. After shaking away the haze of the horrible nights sleep, he sprinted off towards the east, where he had come the night before. If he encountered the girl again, this would be it. No more running away. He could easily knock her head clean off her body, but what if there were others..?

Des jarred awake by the sound of someone banging on her hotel room door. Perhaps house keeping?

She mumbled something, still only half awake and barely coherent "Mmcome baack laterrr" She rolled over, trying to ignore the continuous thumping on her door, which suddenly opened. A rather nasty human walked in, his face red, peeling, and covered in what could barely be described as acne. He barked at her "Think you can just stay here for free?! You haven't paid in 3 days! Get the skrog outta here!" He grabbed the girl by the hair and pulled her into the hallway screaming.

"Get those disgusting, greasy hands off me you little Hutt-spawn!!" Her cybernetic arm clasping around his wrist, digging the metal fingers into the joints and dislocating the hand. The man screamed in agony, dropping to his knees as Des rushed back inside the room, and gathered her belongings. "I didn't wanna stay here anyways! The place is filthy AND THE WATER IS ALWAYS COLD!!" She planted her foot square in the middle of his back, sending him face first into the dirty floor. She picked up one of her burnt out seeker droids, and threw it at his head, connecting and throwing him into unconsciousness.

She rushed out into the street, blinded by the light for a few seconds. She needed to find this mark... But with her cheapy droids burnt out, she'd have to find the help from people.

A lone figure steps out of the The Spires and into the warmth of blackspire outpost's morning sunlight, bathing his dark, shiny head and leather coat as he stepped out into the street. for the first time in awhile, he wasn't accompanied by his associates or any bodyguard droids, just a simple ID10 probe that hovered gently behind him. the truth of the matter was that he didn't feel like he needed them just yet, Everyone on this side of town was familiar with the blackspire company and what happened when you brandished a blaster at their associates, not to mention that tarken had just brought the bounty hunter's league into the spire, using his establishment as a place of merry making and planning. It would be unwise to meddle in their affairs in public. that, and tarken was still a bit of a gunslinger himself, even if age was slowing him down a bit.

Normally, He would have been in his cantina meeting with the hunters and swapping stories, but today was just one of those days when tarken decides that he misses the old days. And fortunately for him, there was a bounty on his homeworld, and not far from his establishment in relative terms. Undoubtedly there'd be other hunters, but the question was- were they league hunters?

He takes his time, walking through the market place, smelling the various spices and foods for sale, admiring various cultural trinkets from across the galaxy, it reminded him of his childhood. A moment later, there is some commotion from within a near by Inn, and some girl comes bursting through the door, blinded by the light for a moment, it was clear that she wasn't having the best of days.

Don't do it... "Hey! You alright?" He did it..

This was his home, he couldn't help but, well.. help. He approaches [member="Des Hailstar"] "Everything fine over here?" he says, taking a moment to scan the area, never know when someone might jump out at you in batuu.

Kat bit her lip in thought looking at the bounty again as she got off her ship, she did so with her swoop bike, and all her armor on, though the helmet was latched to the side of the bike. She was used to not having armor on and as light as it was, it was still only something she wanted to use for battle. Also, she wasn't technically a mandalorian, so she felt a bit odd sometimes.

She rode the swoop bike carefully through The Black Spire, trying to look around for the type of person who'd have a good guess as to where this target was. She got off her bike and locked it in place, picking up her helmet and holding it under her arm as she walked. She'd stay nearby, but to be fair, swoop bikes were not exactly often stolen. Too many people crashed those things for them to be worth much, and it wasn't like they were hard to build, especially compared to speeders.

As she stepped off she heard someone shuffling out of an inn ([member="Des Hailstar"]) quickly approached by a man ([member="Tarken Tarask"]). Well, better start now and ask if anyone's seen her target, that was sometimes the easiest way to figure it out. Easier, at least, then trying to comb the whole planet. If they didn't know who knew, maybe they knew where to ask. She walked over to the two, pulling up a holographic image of the data she'd received though the bounty price itself was obscured, "Sorry, don't suppose either of you have seen this man? He's already killed and I think it'd really be best if we take him down sooner then later. Help would certainly be appreciated." she asked, before looking back at the woman who had stumbled out and trying to consider the reason why, "You good?" she asked simply furrowing her brow.

As Colden made his way into blackspire outpost He caught of semi familiar face, Tarken Tarask The current head of the Bounty Hunter’s league, Colden was a fair recently addition to the League but was a longstanding member of the Bounty hunter’s guild, he decided he would good to to talk to Tarken as he could provide some help as Colden didn’t the usual collective resources of the his former team. As he made to Tarken the morning sun warming his armor a mix of dura stell and bantha hide. "nice to see even you old folk do some work every now and then." Colden said with slight chuckle

Des didn't respond for a few seconds, still barely awake. She shook her head at [member="Tarken Tarask"] and simply said "The inn keeper, he... " She dropped one of the seeker droids and it clanked on the ground loudly and suspiciously. Des quickly picked it up and muttered "The hutt-spawn put his hands on me because of the bill..." She smirked a bit, as this was extra motivation to get out and hunt down the mark "I don't even have enough credits to get off world now.."

Des's head snapped toward [member="Kat Kenrid"] and stared in bewilderment for a second. Was that her mark?! Certainly looked like it... She stuttered nervously "I-is that... uh... No? Like... No, I don't know, w-who is..?" The shock was clear on her face. Damn! Other hunters?! And as [member="Colden Renfrew"], she tripped over her own feet and fell to the ground with a thud, her belonging splayed out around her

[member="Des Hailstar"] had mentioned something about the inn keeper, Tarken didn't like the sound of it. This was his hometown, he wanted to keep the people here safe so long as they knew who was in charge on the block, but he was all too familiar with the rough sorts of people that lived here.
"Define put-" Before he could finish, [member="Kat Kenrid"] approached them in mandalorian armor, A sight he wasn't used to seeing this side of the core, aside voska who occasionally provided his services.

"Khrad danlast? Wanted for the murder of Klondis Balmus. Must have been an "Important" guy for a price like that. Just so happens that I might be interested in him too, Or rather- Who else is interested in him" He says with his hand on his chin. She hadn't displayed the price true, But tarken rand the spiritual successor to the bounty hunter's guild more or less, It wasn't much of a leap to assume that he'd received word of the bounty himself, Of course he was more interested in seeing who would be danlast's downfall, and weather they'd be interested in the league or not.

Then a familiar face or mask appeared, [member="Colden Renfrew"]. A recent, but certainly welcome addition to the league.

"you know how it is, gotta get my cardio somehow" He laughs

"You really do look like you could use the help" He says, holding out a hand to help des up after she'd fallen, taking a glance and mental note of the burnt out probe droids.

"don't tell me- You're bounty hunting here on batuu, probably got scammed by that toydarian at the local scrapyard, sold you some busted probes?" It was just a guess, one based on previous experiences back when he first ventured into the business, he could be right, could be wrong. "I might be able to help you? looks like the mandalorian might be helpful too" He shrugs, glancing at kat and then back to des as his own ID10 probe lands gently on his shoulder

What does a sniper and artist have in common, deta
There were many options when hunting a target, track them, follow any trail, keeping in wait until the right moment to strike, staying put, learning their movement patterns, getting ahead and laying an ambush and much more. All were second to her main method of taking down a target, and that was following other hunters out for the same mark, it allowed someone to somewhat work as a group, even if she was spying. Leaning information her own skills way not have picked up upon, knowing where competition was and where not to look if their search came up empty.

Today was not any different, aside from the number of hunter she was tracing, the lone women and her probe droids meeting up with a few interesting people. Each was an unfamiliar face, well almost all, one person did seem to stand out, the bald older look man with the eye patch. It wasn't hard to tell such a man was experienced, needless to say she had become interested in the conversation below. Unfortunately Formota opted to stay in the shadows, watching from afar, gleaning what information she could, a major part of being a hunter was waiting, a skill she had mastered.
