Private Mi'la's Angels

Rivenna Vehementi

SHe nodded her head to that... the woman seemed to have a good idea and finishing with the cleaning of the parts had Remy re-assembling the blades in front of herself. "It is, most promise power and freedom but my people have rarely seen it last longer then a handful of centuries. Perversion of small ideals taken to places no one expected.... and the ones who don't even have that benefit.. the ones who just want to kill things because it amuses them and spread such misery." She said it but shrugged slowly assembling one of the tonfa's as she began on the other onelooking towards the woman. "But the jedi ideals were interesting enough to intrigue."

Rivenna nodded. The Jedi Way was indeed unique, to serve and defend others, rather to oppress and crush them was a potent ideal. The Ex-Nightsister had been under the yoke of tyranny that Remy spoke of.
“I have found those who promise freedom, take it away. Those who claim you will have power, hold it afar making you forever grovel. The Sith dangle Brula fruit, but never give it.”
Rivenna rose to her feet, and clipped her saber to her belt. She looked at her naked legs, which were cold. She decided it was time for some leggings. Besides becoming a Jedi Padawan made her want to be more modest, not that showing skin was a violation of the Code, she had read of the famous Ahsoka Tano who bore skin, though she too later wore thicker robes.
“Exuse me Remy, I need to fetch some pants. Its cold here in space.”
The Ex-Acolyte went back into the hall and searched some bins, in one was some extra black pants. She slipped them on. Perfect fit.
She returned to where Remy was.

She listened and the woman undferstood more then she had thought she would... the nightsisters or witches well her view of them in the sisterhood had been colored. They were not that helpful or impressive but that was likely an offshoot and the exception based on Rivenna... hopefully. Her rising up to get clothing got a nod. "As you wish." She said it and finished her tonfa taking it back and over while she rose up. Stretching and looked at her legs. She spoke to herself. "Humans are odd." She said it low but was burning up... her body feeling a little more comfortable with the coldness. Being on the planet had been meh and she would eventually sweat off any weight she had while she stretched out her arms. "I think I am supposed to offer you food now or something. Until we figure out when Master Mi'La is coming back."

Rivenna did not blush at the Pureblood’s lack of attire. She had seen things in her travels with Lord Saavage, and she came to understand sentients all considered clothing or lack there of as intervhangable. I mean Wookiees wear nothing and no one bats an eye.
The offer of food was a pleasing one.
“Will you be joining me in eating? Or do you observe a fast?”
Rivenna forgot the last time she ate, she had fed on the dark side, and often neglected natural sustenance. It was time to take better care of herself.

"Fast???" She looked at her and raised a brow ridge walking towards the dining area of the ship as she could work on it. Presenting for them any number of things.. Mi'la had a fridge now of food... though less things to make traditional blood soup.... one of the few dishes the purebloods had that was still their own. She walked around though looking for things and gathered what she could.. some of the veggies and meats and a large pot as she was slicing it all up. The water and what she could find coming to a boil thanks to the advanced appliances of the living module on the ship and made a thicker broth. "We don't have organs or blood for bloodsoup but can make some sort of soup."

Rivenna smiled and took a seat in kitchen as Remy began to make them soup. She listene as she spoke of “Blood Soup.”
“I have had authentic blood soup, my former Master preferred it. That is when we ate.”
Rivenna looked out a porthole, the stars dancing by in streaks. How her life had changed in such a sort spanse. She then turned back to the cooking.
“Is there anything I can help with Remy?”

Hmm she thought about it and a soup like this needed a few other things. "Something that can be dipped in it and utensils... we need those." She said it and some sort of bread would be good if they could get it... drinks were also important as there was water and milks as a benefit. Remy checked over a few more things with the soup and tossed in some more as everythign was in there giving it a nice grey-brown look indicating that it was... well soup. "We also must discuss how we are going to recriprocate for her leaving us here to go and run off on her own... we should be out there helping her."

Rivenna got up from her seat and opened a cupboard. There she found utensils, some spoons of silver design and placed them on the table. She then walked over and found a canister of noodles.
“How about these?”
She handed the noodle jar to Remy.
Then she turner her attention to the drinks. There was green ans blue milks, but Rivenna saw a bottle of wine in back.
“This might be useful.”
She took it out, the red bintage swirling in a clear pillar glass container.
As for repaying their Master for leaving them, Rivenna replied,
“What do you have in mind?”

"These could work." Remy said it and the noodles were one thing for them to be able to use.. the other would be the wine as she had a grin on her face. "Perfect." Then the real subject of their interest was there as she set the noddles to cook. "Well based on what I have seen.. her curisoity is a big thing she was constantly asking me questions about the sith and how this or that made me feel... strange but if she did much the same with you we could use this. I already go her to eat a heart... we can look for the oldest most obscure traditions even the minor ones and convince her they are acts of honor and important.... the other thing is she seems to get flushed and embarrassed unable to look me in the eyes when I walk around."

Rivenna took a metal bowl and put on a burner, the liquid was mixed with a pwoder of flour and bread formed:

She then listened as Remy discussed options to torment Mi’la.
“Hmmm.. I adopt for embarassing her in some manner. Using rituals of the Sith could open doors that may not easily close. Besides.. I have no desire to mess with dark side spells and make my soul tainted again.”
The Ex-Nightsister took a seat, almost everything was ready. This Remy was a curious one, she had chosen to learn the ways of the Jedi, but was intent on making Mi’la feel uneasy. Did she know something Rivenna did not? Should she take up with Pureblood and test her Master’s sincerity? Rivenna felt the answer was yes.

"No rituals... well maybe one of the rituals for cleansing the mind and body before a trial. It involves oils and being ready to take on ten opponents." She tapped her chin though and her facial tendril moved to her fingers as she stroked them and finishing the soup scooped some for them. "Embarrassing though is tricky... we want to do it.. we want her on her toes but we don't want the other jedi to outright have her in trouble. I know she reacts strangely to when we first met." She said it and thought how to describe it. "SHe told me about how she discovered things about herself and if I came with her I would as well learn those things... I told her the truth that her strange flirting was going the wrong way."

Rivenna nodded about the no rituals. The Ex-Nightsister had done enougj of those on Darhomir and with Lord Saavage in his Necro-quest.
“Flirting eh?”
She laughed to herself.
“I sensed that too, but perhaps it comes with her being a Twi’lek. I have experianced some transference myself, but then again she is a great mentor and that is to be expected.”
Rivenna played with her braid, which had been made by Mi’la.
“Do you flirt back?” Immediately she regretted the question. For she now considered Remy was only jesting. She really wasn’t good at this socializing stuff.

She looked at her and held her spoon. "NO, I told her that I am not into women." She said it and ate another spoonful though with a look. "She seemed surprised by that admission though so I am uncertain. On Tantorus aside from procreation there is little need for such frivolities instead we focus on training and preserving ourselves to one day return to our homeworld or any of the worlds we once held." Remy was a little proud of that... millions of her species had survived after all compared to one worlds like Kesh where they had interbred their species away with the locals. Korriban and Ziost were not much different but they could return there eventually.

Rivenna had thought over her affections. In truth she did not feel inclined to prusue them, she having been a Nightsister and then an Acolyte.
“I have no intention to prusue passions or procreation. I intend to be the last of my line,”
Rivenna paused.
“The wounds will end with me.”
She knew this would be cryptic to Remy who was unfamiliar with her history. In truth the Padawan did not feel the need to tell he tragic tale. The galaxy was full of them.

That was an interesting outloook but Remy nodded her head as she did something small. She brought a hand out towards the womans shoulder and didn't pat and touch her more left it as a question if she could. "I may understand that... more then you know in some ways. Purebloods of the Sith species are well outside of Tantorus we are rare... we are viewed with a dangerous distrust compared to other species because of what we helped create and most like with the taungs seem fine us not continuing to live." SHe said it and after the shoulder pat if she wanted it Remy went back to eating some of the soup while her facial tendril twitched.

Rivenna took a bowl of soup and began to sip. It had a spicy taste, that seemed to send warmth behind her eyes. She slurped some noodles as Remy spoke of her species’ history and then gave her a shoulder pat. The Padawan finished another noodle before inquiring,
“Is it true there is another race from among your people called The Massassi who are like giants and monsterous in form? Or are they just legends to terrify Jedi?”

Remy looked at her and grinned at that. "Oh they are real... not as large in some cases as others might say... but they were larger. Think a wookiee but also broad shouldered and perpetually angry." She said it with a nod of her head having some more of the soup and noodles. "Though they rarely leave Tantorus now... I was one of the few exceptions and one or two others who went to the different sith empires. I think one joined the Maw recently but really the sith on my homeworld want to be left alone... we can ignore the galaxy and be ignored until a chance arises to go home maybe."

Rivenna took another sip of the Blood Soup, her mouth having adapted to the spices.
“I sometimes long to be forgotten like your people. I have contemplated why I am even alive.”
The Padawan looked out into streaming stars and thought of how it all felt futile. What was the point of all the struggle? The wars between Jedi and Sith? How was she not to feel like a pawn of the Force in some cosmic game? These thoughts flooded her mind.
“Forgive me, my thoughts turn dark.. I am afraid I am not good company.”

Rivenna Vehementi

Remy looked at her and sitting there she shrugged at the idea of not being good company. "Ehhh you are not so bad. I don't have an urge to convince you to eat organs so this is a plus." SHe said it offered her version of a smile. "Besides we are in this together yes... we are Mi'la's padawans so we need to be on the same page and level. She said it while looking at the woman and offered her hand and forearm for a clasp in comradeship... they would be able to do this together. "If you help me, then I shall help you. Yeah" Remy stayed there giving an actual grin of her face while the facial tendrils twitched and vibrated for a moment.

Rivenna was reassured by the mention of not having to eat organs to prove herself socially. When Remy offerer her hand and forearm with words of comradery, the Padawan considered, she barely knew the Pureblood. Her words seemed sincere about abandoning the Sith Ways, and she was Mi’la apprentice, which meant the Master saw something in Remy, perhaps what she saw in Rivenna, “Possibility.”
The Padawan took the ruby red hand and forearm and shook it.
“I guess this makes us partners.. in crime.” She giggled, for she new what antics awaited would make Mi’la grimace and blush, but that was what apprentices were suppose to do, dust off the cobwebs of their Master’s stuffiness while they learned discipline, mastery, and harmony.
