Kurt looked at her, leaning back slightly as if assessing it exactly. "Hmm."

The Courier smiled.

"Red huh?" Kurt took another step forward and slowly slipped his hands onto Jamie's hips, pulling her close and pressing a kiss against her lips. "I think I'd prefer something purple on you."

He smiled at her, offering his honest opinion and supplying another short kiss before he quickly looked over the selection of sunglasses on the table. His own glasses were in his backpack, though they were a rather special pair. He perused for a moment more then plucked a pair of sunglasses from the table that were similar to the ones that Jamie had picked up save for the fact that instead of red they were colored with a dull purple along with white polka dots.

Kurt smiled and offered the glasses to her.

"Oh? Well alright then."

Reaching up with her right hand after returning his kiss she pulled the red pair off, placing them back down while taking the purple and white polka dot pair from him and pushing them against her face and behind her ears. Kissing his cheek she stepped back, placing her hands on her hips, tilting toward to one side with a slight crookedness to her head.

"Well? Better?" Her dimples began to show as she smiled for him a step or two away. Her body gave a slight twist, turning to the side while she looked over her shoulder at Kurt to give a different angle, as if she were modeling something for him.

The vendor looked at the two and understood, offering the two a warm smile and a nod to both Kurt and Jamie as they exchanged words.

"Perfect." Kurt said as he watched her do a half spin on her heel, showing off for him with those two little dimples showing.

He couldn't help but feel a tad bit of excitement at that, watching her move the way she did. There was an energy to her right now. Perhaps it was the caf, the warm air, or maybe it was even Kurt himself, but he could practically feel Jamie's thrill at being here on Spira. It made him happy to know that, it made him happy to see her like this. He wanted nothing more than to move to grab her, pull her close and kiss her again, but instead he simply offered her a hand.

"Want to get them?" He asked with a smile. "You look gorgeous."

The vendor nodded, though Kurt only offered him a sly smile.

Jamie bounced back to Kurt, lifting the back of her leg and standing on the tips of her toes to kiss him with a giggle. "You think so!?"

A small mirror specifically for viewing one's self stood off to the side of the vendor's booth, allowing Jamie to look at herself, make a few goofy faces and then turn back to Kurt with a nod. "Sure!" Turning around so her pack faced Kurt she pointed toward the zipper. "You wanna open my bag for me? My credits are in there at the bottom"

Turning her attention to the vendor she'd ask sweetly, "How much are they?" Before pointing to the sunscreen.

"Oh! We probably should get some of that too, Kurt."

Kurt shook his head.

"I got this one, babe." The word slipped out without him even noticing, his hand slipping to her hip and pulling her into a half embrace before letting her go again. From his pocket he retrieved a few credit chits, regarding the vendor with a smile and pointing towards the glasses on Jamie's face. The man nodded and pulled out a small machine in order to create a receipt, Kurt turning towards the bottle that Jamie had just pointed out. He read the label and let out a chuckle. "Sunscreen? Why would we-oh."

He sometimes forgot that not everyone had his fortitude for suns. On Tatooine ones skin adapted rather quickly to the twin suns, eventually reaching a point where one hardly ever got burned or even slightly tanned. He smiled sheepishly, looking at the vendor and pulling one of the bottles off the shelf. "This too, please."

The man offered him a nod then told him the total of the purchase.

Kurt nodded, and dug through his credit chits, eventually fishing out the correct amount and handing them over to the man with a smile.

Turning back around to Kurt after he'd given her a bit of an embrace from behind she would throw her arms around his shoulders while he spoke with the vendor, hugging him tightly. "Hey! Thanks!" She said with a smile, after which she took the bottle of sunscreen and tucked it in the side of the backpack meant for a bottle of water or something similar.

"Forgot to pack some myself." Referring to the sunblock, "I know I'll burn pretty easily here. Even back home during the warmer seasons I change color pretty quickly. I'd rather not spoil our time complaining about being burnt."

With that done she thanked the vendor, smiled to Kurt with her new shades on, and proceeded back on the route they had began.

"Sorry about that! Now, where were we? Oh! Right! Need a boat rental huh? I would have to guess there is something along the pier up ahead."

As they walked Jamie leaned close to Kurt, resting her head against his shoulder, shifting her gaze between the beach and water, and Kurt. It was nice to finally have the chance to be alone, to be free of concerns and schedules, and away from responsibilities.

"I don't burn." Kurt told her with a hint of smug in his voice. "Tatooine has two suns."

He genuinely didn't know if she knew that, many didn't and were rather surprised by the fact. "You get used to it or you evaporate and turn to dust in a matter of days."

A grin spread across his face as he explained that. The thought of home made him nostalgic almost instantly, forcing him to remember the times that he had spent in the desert, traipsing about with his friends and traveling through the heat. Those days had been their own form of fun, and as he felt the heat of Spira's sun he couldn't help but think about them again. There was an air of delight to it, and it made him want to take Jamie home with him.

"Oh, look!" Kurt said as he pointed out a small shop at the end of one of the piers.

The shop, if one could call it that, was a small shack that was lined with several signs that stated the word 'rentals' in Aurabesh. Around the end of the pier were several boats and a few water speeders, most of them looking more than decent enough to take out a few miles into the archipelago of Spira.

Jamie's nose scrunched up, eyebrows furrowing as she lip synched his words 'I don't burn' and 'Tatooine has two suns' in a rather mocking manner. "Well, Mr. I don't burn, not all of us are blessed with the ability to fend off sunburns." Sticking her tongue out to complete her mockery of him she giggled, her vengeance having been completed.

Ahead her eyes took in the sight of the rental vendor, a few boats and water speeders lining the beach just beside. "Oh! Look!" She hadn't expected water speeders. Those were fun! A few had sped past near the shore line pulling a rope and a water sled with a rider or two behind as she pointed. "That looks pretty neat." She grinned, "Though I hope they don't fall off! Sea monster might get them." Jamie nudged Kurt with her elbow and gave him a mischievous look.

Kurt gave her a flat look for a moment, but didn't say anything else. Instead he simply shook his head and kissed her temple before turning his attention to the man at the stall. "Hello, we'd like to rent a boat to head out into the islands for three days. Something small, just the two of us, and a tent if you have one."

The man behind the counter raised his eyebrow.

"Boats I got, tent? Typically not for rent, mate."

"Yeah I figured." Kurt said with a slight chuckle. "But if you got anything that you'd be willing to rent out to us I would be grateful, we're not much for these fancy results, would rather head out and just live on our own for a little bit, be romantic, ya know?"

The man looked at Kurt, then towards Jamie. He seemed to be calculating something in his head, putting two and two together before finally offering Kurt a nod. He held up a finger for a moment, shifting to the back of his shop and seemingly rummaging around back there. Kurt half turned towards Jamie, looking at her and shrugging his shoulders as if he had no idea what was actually going on. A minute or two later the man returned to the shack, hefting a large duffel bag.

"This is mine and my wifes tent, I suppose I can throw it into the rental fee for the boat."

Kurt's face popped into a wide smile. "I'd much appreciate it, Sir."

Jamie stood quietly while Kurt and the man exchanged words. Her vision caught his as Kurt gave a shrug which she returned, her lower lip pushing out and down, an unsure look in her eye as to what exactly he was doing as he rummaged about behind the counter. Her attention was again lost as she looked out at the water, watching what had to have been thousands of people enjoying themselves on the beach. Even though it was so incredibly filled with people it still felt comfortable, as if the world here was just relaxing and wonderful.

The sound of the duffel bag crashing on to the counter startled her out of her momentary daze, and she turned back to look at what the man had procured for them. "Oh, that's very kind of you! Thanks so much!" Looking at the bag she made an attempt at picking it up for Kurt, though as she slid it off the counter the full weight of the contents nearly tore her arms out of their sockets. With a loud Ooomf she hoisted it up a ways.

Taking in a heavy breath she realized how ridiculous she must look in that instant, her arms fully extended with the bag near her knees. While she could very well just levitate the bag for a minute or so until they got on to the boat she wasn't entirely sure of how well received that might be here, so she decided against it. Worst case she could just drag it to the water.

Kurt raised an eyebrow at Jamie, smiling slightly. "Babe...let me get it."

He placed a hand around her own, then took the straps of the duffel bag into his hand. He pulled then away from her, finding that they were indeed quite heavy, though not heavy enough to make him balk. He leaned over and kissed her on the temple.

"Which boat is ours?" Kurt asked as he pulled a rather large stack of credit chits out from his pocket. The rental would cost about one thousand credits for three days, about what he had expected. Luckily the tent didn't really add to that at all, at least not by much. The vendor pointed towards one of the speed boats, smiling and taking the credits that Kurt offered him. "Alright, lets go."

With his free hand he urged Jamie towards the vehicle, pressing his palm at the small of her back.

"I can ge-" Her lips pressed together in feigned disappointment as Kurt took the bag from her and hoisted it up. "I could have got it."

Despite the fact that she knew she would look utterly ridiculous trying to carry the bag with two hands down to the water she would have, rather than looking entirely useless. Still, it would save her arms the stiff agony that she would surely come to feel later if she had in fact carried it even that short distance.

"Thank you, again." Jamie would kiss him on the cheek as they turned to walk toward their boat. "For everything; I mean it. You're wonderful."

Reaching the edge of the beach she slid the backpack from her shoulders, catching it in her right hand as she placed it down in the back of the boat, and attempted to help Kurt with getting the tent in as well. "Is that everything then? We good to go?"

Kurt let the bag slip into Jamie's hands, allowing her to drop the heavy duffel onto the back of the boat and store it there. Next came his own backpack, though that was just tossed down into the boat itself without much of a care about the contents inside. He shifted slightly, then hopped into the boat. The vehicle shook just a bit, though he quickly managed to find his way to stable footing as he grabbed onto the ledge. "I think so."

The Courier shifted, looking over everything and nodding.

"Come on." He motioned her over to the edge of the peer so that he could help her down. Gently grabbing one hand and guiding her onto the boat itself.

As soon as Jamie was situated Kurt went about untying them from the dock, pulling away the rope and wrapping it around the small standing parts of the edge. He then shuffled his way over to the controls, quickly looking them over and finding them delightfully similar to what one would find on a speeder. "Ready?"

He asked her with a wide grin.

Jamie looked once more back to the beach, carefully ensuring that they hadn't dropped anything before giving a nod to Kurt. "Mhm. I think so!"

The blonde kicked back in her seat, placing both feet crossing one another on the front lip of the boat, leaning back with hands cupping her head. This is paradise.

"Let's go find us an island!"

They had finally made it! Three days of alone time. Three days of paradise with one another. Three days of no sneaking about, no worrying about anything, no worries about where they had to be or what they had to do. Just each other, a tent, the ocean, and sunshine. That was when Jamie remembered the camera and quickly leaned over to scoop it out of her pack once more. "Wait hold on!" She would motion for Kurt to turn towards her while she held the camera out again, wide, silly smile on her face as she snapped another picture.

"Okay, now we're ready!"

Kurt half turned, grinning when he saw the camera within her hand, hearing the slight snap as his picture was taken. "Alright, hang on."

The courier took the helm of the ship, wrapping one hand around the throttle and the other around the small wheel that acted as the controls. He pushed the throttle forward only a bit at first, taking careful measure not to accelerate them too quickly. The water lapped against the side of the boat, the white hull breaking through the bright topaz almost too easily. The repulsor engines began to whirr, speeding up as Kurt pressed the boat out of the pier section and into the open ocean.

"Grab the map." Kurt said quietly as he accelerated the boat to a faster speed. "Let's see if we can't find something with nothing on it."

The map would have all the detail they needed, allowing them to ignore any resort islands and everything that was well developed.

What they wanted was the wilds, to be alone, completely and totally isolated with just the two of them.

"O-Ooookay!" The sudden transfer of energy to the engines made her stomach turn for a moment before she adjusted to the momentum and light bouncing of the hull against the water. A bit of laughter escaped her as she began to feel the wind rapping through her freely flowing hair, trailing behind her as they moved a bit faster away from the pier. Jamie leaned over the edge a bit, dipping her hand into the warm, beautiful looking water beneath them. The rush of the liquid tugging at her hand felt luxurious, though by Kurt's request to peek at the map she withdrew her hand and took a gander at the information on the map.

It took the blonde a few moments to figure out where exactly they were to begin with, though having pinpointed their location she studied the map for a couple of moments, speaking under her breath as she murmured negative to all of the places that would clearly be over-crowded and populated. Finally she located a pair of islands that looked like they would suit their needs.

"There's a pair of islands separated by a large rock formation about three and a half kilometers northwest of our current location. They look like they might be a good spot to check." She looked back down once more. "Otherwise we'd have to probably go another 4 kilometers north to find something else. Most of the tourist islands are large, and close to shore."

"Lets go with the twins to the northwest." Kurt called out over the sound of the wind and the rumbling ocean. "No tourists!"

That was his one rule.

If they were going to do this, then they were going to do this properly. There would be no hotels, no spas, no tourist destinations. They would live together on that island, kiss one another on that island, be with one another on that island. That was what Kurt wanted, a romantic get away from everything and anything that could get in their way. The very thought of it made him smile, the idea bringing a grin to his lips. He pushed the throttle forward, rushing them forward towards those islands.

Eventually he saw them, or he thought so? "That them?"

The island on the left held a massive rock formation in the center of it, a stretched out cliff that seemed to reach above the beach and try to grasp at it, the one on the right was crescent shape, a massive cove contained within a half ring that centered around the island.

The blonde squinted, looking toward the horizon and covering her forehead, eyes peering through the purple polka dot sunglasses Kurt had just bought her. "I think so!"

She looked down at the map, then back to the islands to double check. "Yes! That's them." Her eyes darted across the visible areas of the islands, though it was still too far off to see if there were any occupants yet.

"Maybe circle around the opposite side? See if anyone is around before getting too close? No sense pulling ashore and docking only to find out there's folks on the other side, right?"

It wasn't entirely impossible that others seeking privacy would come out this way, though most of the tourists would likely stick towards the coast, the beaches there, and the more inland islands. Only the truly adventurous would bother making their way out this far, and even fewer would stop to make camp away from shore. Perhaps the two should have checked into the projected weather forecast for the next few days, as any kind of storm would drastically ruin their plans. Jamie let the thought pass, not wanting to spoil the mood, or the moment, least of all jynx the trip.

Kurt nodded to her, pulling towards the right crescent Island and picking up speed on the boat. They made an easy curving turn towards the island, shifting beyond it and moved parallel to it's coast. As soon as they moved alongside it Kurt began to slow them, pulling back on the throttle and slowly granting them a better view of the shore. It quickly became clear that although the island had looked small, it was in fact rather large. It stretched along for nearly three miles, it's odd crescent cove reaching around itself and almost full closing.

"Do you see any boats?" Kurt called out to Jamie, unsure if his eyes deceived him.

To be safe he made a complete three hundred and sixty around the entirety of the island, drawing them across the ocean and attempting to get a glimpse of all it.

He spotted nothing.

No homes, no construction, no docks, nothing. A sigh escaped through his lips, relief perhaps. Was this it? The island was large enough to explore and if they got bored they could always go to the other, larger island just to the east of them, perhaps even go rock climbing. They would be alone here and have plenty of wood to burn and cover if they needed it. The crescent Island seemed almost too perfect, but Kurt delighted as he slowly turned them into the cove.

As they swept around the island Jamie shook her head, "Nope! Looks deserted to me!" That was good, less time spent searching around for a place to dock and more time to setup their camp site and enjoy the scenery, and maybe do some exploring on the relatively large island. "It looks great!" She'd continue to shout over the sound of the engines and the wake of the water beneath the boat.

While Kurt maneuvered the boat towards the inner part of the cove Jamie took the opportunity to take a few more pictures. A few looking back out toward the ocean, a couple of the island as they slowly drifted inwards, and maybe one or two of Kurt as he captained the boat.

The air was crisp, fresh. The salt of the water could nearly be tasted in the air. The light breeze off the waves gave a bit of a cooling breeze beneath the sun as the gusts teased the trees at their tallest peaks. "Oh! Better do this now before I forget..." Jamie set the camera down inside the bag once more before taking up the bottle of sunblock. For now a bit on her face, neck, stomach, lower back, and arms would suffice. Handing the bottle over she'd ask Kurt, if for no other reason than courtesy. "You sure you don't need this?"
