Money [One Sith - Suns Vs. Reps]

The deception was realized in time with the smile on her face and a premonition in the Force. Ryan raised his off-hand and let the Force flow unhindered. A half-dome sphere snapped into existence, shielding Ryan from the edges of the overpressure shockwave and flames that ripped out from the blast. Red, orange, and yellow blared searingly bright, but the tongues which managed to stretch out from the explosion washed harmlessly across the sphere.

Ryan relinquished the half-dome of energy and turned around.

The vault was filled with choking smoke, forcing Korr to utilize the art of breath control.

He glanced over at the Zabrak woman and leveled his lightsaber so that the tip hummed near her neck.

"If you do not put your hands above your head in the next two seconds, you won't have to worry about hands ever again."

The intersection at Cambrielle's financial district was a buzz of activity, with the combined forces of the on-planet security, vengeance seeking Sith, the Black Sun crew and the Jedi hoping to quell their assault. It was an interesting mix, and something that Blitz was looking forward to stirring up. Earlier that day, he'd landed alone to conduct some affairs and prepare something of a snare for those that would attempt to oppose their forces and their current alliance with the One Sith. Crime and politics though, everything was always a bit fluid. The first of a few surprises were well placed and concealed holocams stored around the intersection. A couple pointed at the vault inside the bank, another couple getting good overall angles inside the stock exchange, and then the last few were positioned to get aerial shots of the intersection between the two buildings. Each feed was then linked to twin datapads. One for Blitz and one for Cypher. His had been delivered to him before landing, compliments of Blitz.

Combat was already underway in the various locations, and Blitz was involved in none of it. Despite his aggressive tendencies, he preferred a more relaxed position where he could monitor the feeds in peace. His location though wasn't as important as the location of eight keenly placed cages. They had been covered for the time being, innocuous and out of sight. The pre-emption of some of the fighting however started to draw his attention while he mused over the images on the screen before him. A curl of his lips into a sneer became the pre-cursor to a trigger switch he slid into his palm. The excited beak monkey bounced happily on the table he rested at, squealing in sadistic delight. That always brought a warm smile to Amaul's face. Leveling the deathstick from between his lips to between his digits, a curl of smoke ebbed out of his mouth.

"That's right little brother, time to let the cat out of the bag." Unlike Taskar's crude device, he'd had time to modify it a bit into a two stage trigger. Stage one was pressed and inside each of the eight cages a hiss of smoke initiated, only filling the cages itself with a noxious orange cloud of smoke. The chemical compound a mix of steroids and another bit of spice that was not so nice. Soon the roaring began. Three distinct sounds echoed around the intersection in the streets, two more nearby the vault itself, and another two roared to life right outside the stock exchange entrance. Deep thunderous roars rang out over the various locations, and they sounded hungry. This along with the signal, he just sent to all of the party that the Black Sun was being friendly with.

:: This would be a most opportune time to get scarce y'all. :: Blitz said over the comm frequency, and only seconds later the second trigger was pressed. All seven cages snapped open, unleashed a ravenous and large Ralltiir Tiger of the red and black striped variety. The orange fog they emerged from only stimulated their state of 'blood-madness' leaving them a violent and savage beast that would not stop until it feasted on the blood of it's victims. Over three-hundred pounds each and very strong, the cats burst from their cages and clocked the first sentients in their path, and began to give chase. Normally the blood-lust would be enough - but mixed with the toxin Blitz had prepared, they were now even more feral, the type that not even skilled Jedi with animal kinship training could turn.

Xyra coughed smoke from her lungs and stamped out the flames licking along her clothes. Pain rushed through her. So be it. She'd dealt with pain before. More than this, even. She could just ignore it. A Zabrak's hardier constitution helped too. She studied the blade not far from her neck, and gave a small smile. "Are you aware that the Iridonian style of hand to hand combat is among the most lethal in the galaxy?" She paused, frowning at the message she just received from [member="Blitz"] as roars sounded out around throughout the area. She gave a mock look of concern. "I'm not sure I have to worry about lightsabers anymore either. Seems like we have larger issues."

[member="Ryan Korr"]

The Zabrak's coy retort seemed more distraction than threat, but Ryan held no yearning to discover whether or not she told the truth. She mentioned larger issues, but Ryan felt the storm whirling in his chest suddenly expand. The timer on the charges had been a lie. The Iridonian fighting style was probably a lie, as were the bigger problems. No, the only thing this Zabrak needed to fear at the moment was the blue blade sizzling not far from her neck and the not-so-righteous fury bubbling up inside his chest.

Korr reacted decisively, the resolution in his grey eyes never once wavering.

His off-hand suddenly grasped at thin air and pulled inward as attempted to sweep Zabrak's feet out from under her with a simple telekinetic tug. At the same time, Ryan's blue blade lanced forward in a quick one-two stroke. He sought to lightly pierce the muscles on both of her thighs so as to render her unable to walk and cause anymore harm.

In the distance, Ryan heard a primal roar, but he paid it no heed for the moment. The tigers, unbeknownst to him, would be closing in quickly, but they were still a minute away.

Unfortunately for [member="Ryan Korr"], the part about the Iridonian fighting style was not a lie. Neither was worrying about larger issues. He seemed to be getting angry as well, which she found delightful. She could make a Jedi angry. How angry could she make him though? Angry enough to fall?
Then he moved and her feet were pulled out from beneath her, and she reacted, twisting forwards and upwards to curve above the strike as it whistled beneath her, slicing through her armor and skin, causing her to hiss through her teeth with a grimace. She lashed out with booted feet towards his chest, tensing to flip aside.

Skill was all well and good, but an unarmed combatant facing a Jedi who could utilize the Force to enhance speed beyond what would be deemed natural and carried a lightsaber that could sheer through almost any material with ease did not exactly bode for a fair fight.

As Ryan's lightsaber whooshed past, just searing through the edges of the woman's clothing, her boots came forward. Kor tensed, tightening up his core muscles and turning slightly to the side. Booted heels slammed into his chest with enough strength to leave deep bruises and elicit a grunt of pain from Ryan. Yet, even as the boots connected, Ryan wrapped his off-hand around one of her legs and drew it in to his side, preventing her from flipping away. His lightsaber came back around in a lightning blur of movement, swifter than thought, as he aimed to once again immobilize her with a swift tap of the lightsaber to the thigh.

Xyra gave a small grin at the contact, but cut back a curse as he grabbed her and trapped her leg. She continued the momentum though, spinning around to try to use him as a pivot, going to wrap her other leg around him and aimed to headbutt him at the same time. She hissed as the lightsaber made contact with her thigh, and rage blossomed through her as the pain crackled through her veins. Her free hand snapped out to grab his hair.

[member="Ryan Korr"]

The Jedi Padawan immediately deactivated his lightsaber as soon as the blade made contact with her flesh. Enough to debilitate, but he did not wish to kill this woman, merely make it so that she could not harm others. Her other leg snaked around him and she whipped her head up in a contortionist's feat and headbutted him. He managed to tuck his chin and lower his head so as to not take it full on the nose, but the impact rocked him backward. Her horns cut into the flesh of his forehead and drew forth a river of blood that gushed down over one brow, blinding him in one eye.

She reached for his hair, but Ryan countered with a series of rapid fire strikes enhanced in speed by the Force. Left block toward her incoming hand to push away the wrist. Right jab toward the throat to startle and disorient.. Left punch toward the ribs to cause her to draw in on herself. Right elbow toward the wounded thigh to break the grip her legs had around his body. Left palm toward the bridge of her nose to shatter it.

Stock Board room

Grimm had heard of the chance to earn some money, his chopper hidden away from the front while he was doing some business. He had stocks to exchange after all, waiting for the chance to do his job. That chance was when the battle was heard throughout the town and he went to the bathroom. Putting on his clothing and Mandalorian armor over himself. This was what he wanted to steal all the money from the stock trade, leaving his company with the benefits of course. Kicking the door open to the stock room, he walked in shooting guard after guard with dual blasters. It seems that everyone one else was busy, so this might be a real simple job.

Slowly making his way to the room where the money would be held, but what could go wrong? He was fighting for money, but also more data on future project for himself.

@Ryan Kor

Xyra gave a cold smile as her head slammed int him and blood started trickling down, some of it getting onto her face. She licked some of it off, and spat it out to the side just intime for his blows to slam into her thigh, nose, throat, and ribs. Her head snapped back while the rest of her body's curled up. She reacted through years of training to send her knee forwards towards him and another hard jab with her right hand, pain flaring through her face from her broken nose.

"Stop!" Ryan barked, raising his hand and loosing a point-blank Force Push at the Zabrak even as she leaped forward to knee him. The blast would be enough to knock her over and possibly push the wind from her lungs.

His saber snapped back to life with a morbid hum. Korr regarded her with storm grey eyes. He did not want to harm her any further, but she was a danger to the populace and needed to be subdued. More, he could sense something approaching. Something that caused pandemonium and terror. A series of roars split the air, making Ryan's blood run cold.

Xyra flew back, skidding across the ground, metal debris slicing through her armor and leaving streaks along the ground. She stood, swaying, and gave him a feral grin, "I told you there were bigger things to worry about. All I was doing was liberating ill-gained loot. Yet you stayed here and fought me while those things were out killing innocents." She tilted her head to look at him, and wiped blood from her face. "What does that say about your priorities? Care more for 'law' and wealth than normal people's lives? Or were you too angry to realize what was going on? Isn't that a big no-no for a Jedi?"

The bean bag hit with the force of a kick from a bull nerf and Odium went down. He was caught off guard by actual armed resistance. The entire Jedi Temple hadn't produced so much as one armed guard. Odium pulled his knees toward his chest and sprung to his feet. His green head tresses flew out of his hood and he reached in his satchel for a vibroknife. He didn't know what the Commando had up his sleeve but he was ready to find out. He began circling to the left to get some distance from the edge of the building before he could attack.

Havoc squad versus a bunch of Black Sun? Members of an elite unit that had literally taken down an entire ship with about four people? One that had been instrumental in repelling numerous assaults? Guess which side was winning. Black Sun backup was running thin, they would feel the pressure as Havoc Squad, led by Doc, began to encircle the bank. They were now surrounded, hounded from all sides by accurate blaster and slugthrower fire. Doc smiled, and removed his trench knife, and slipped on the brass knuckle to his non-wielding knife hand, his left. In his right, he tightly gripped the trench knife.

The big Nautolan looked nice enough to dance with him. He shifted the knife to a downward position.

"Come at me, walk on the wildside there you big ugly fish."

[member="Odium"]

The blast erupting into the side sent the black cloaked man back out onto the street. A'donari stepped forward to the man [member="Cypher"] who still hadn't answered his question. "I'll have your answer now." A'donari spoke calmly. Within the words he spoke Republic forces erupted from roof tops sending the tide of battle back in their favor. No one was escaping without a fight. A loud clank sounded in the background. Energies of creatures once thought to be used as Bank security rushed at his own pressence. Within the last second before the energy collided into him A'donari sunk down to the ground allowing the cats jumping through the air to sail over him and at the hooded man.
A quick turn of his frame and the touch of the force on the doors sent him back into the bank. The guards behind the desk were looking at live footage of a man @Grimm within the bathrooms changing into new armor. "Sir we have a man who is putting on an entire outfit of Mandalorian armor in bathrooms of section B."
A'donari shook his head. He was never shocked by some of the people the Sith worked with. "What's the status of the stock exchange. Is there a fail safe for criminal attacks or can they rob you blind?"
"Assets across the board have been frozen entirely by the stock holders themselves. We have no control but security alerts are going on to any and all share holders. Most have responded instantaneously like they are prepped for when investing."
A'donari nodded and moved to behind the counter with the guards. "Shut off all power and place a lock down in the section of our changing hero. Force him to blast his way back to this area. I'll take care of anyone else who decides to enter."
Chances to keep both sides safe had been extended. The Sith were not going to accept peace. The fun and games were now going to have to be dealt with.

A native species of the planet, the citizens of which knew the dangers of these creatures. They were not simply kittens mewling happily at a saucer of blue-milk. These were fierce, violent tigers that while normally were already aggressive, had been introduced to a chemical compound that raised their violence level exponentially. It was also of note that just a single swipe of their meaty paws was enough to dish out over two thousand pounds of raw power. Their speed and agility were also a large part of contention, as they were used to outrunning and taking down large game as regular meals. This time their sights were set on several sentients that were already busy engaging others. There was no simple way of dealing with these creatures. You either put them down, or they wouldn't stop until they did the self same to you.

Camera 1 & 2: The vault seemed to be vacant for the time being, except for two that were going at it and butting heads. The Zabrak on his team versus an over-exuberant padawan. He knew that his mate on the playing field was aware of the danger, but the padawan seemed to be ignoring the two circling tigers almost completely. That was a poor life-choice. Both tigers came at the same time, at full speed and terror roaring in blood-lust to decimate and power-house [member="Ryan Korr"] onto the floor. The tigers preferred their meal free-range anyway, and while Korr might of been able to defend against one of them, trying to tangle with two as well as the Zabrak -- well most Knights would struggle much more a Padawan of the order.

Camera 3 & 4: An intersection of blaster bolts and slug-throwers rained down on the promenade between the bank and stock exchange. There were also screams of agony as the tigers had wasted no time in tearing into various of the security guards. You could stop a sentient who understood the consequences of a gun by directly aiming, but there was no fear in the mind of these tigers. They were savage killing machines, and far and above stronger than the average rent-a-cop that had shown up to do battle. Leaping and clawing at the forces with speed and power, they were chasing the forces from their stand-off and causing them to flee. That only further excited the felines as they gave chase. One of the three though turned back and stuck it's beady eyed stare on that of [member="Doc"]. A growl of primal rage bellowed from it's throat as it leapt in a swift and powerful pounce to capture the attention (and face) of the soldier from behind.

Camera 5 & 6: Things were a little less action packed at the stock exchange, but that wasn't going to last for too much longer. The Jedi Master was attempting to contend with [member="Cypher"], keep updated on the security personnel and procedure of the exchange, all while trying to dance with two of these feral beasts. The one that sailed over [member="Adonari Cinn"]'s head landed firmly on it's feet, turning and skidding along the pavement in time for the second to roar in terror and charge against the doorway. Three hundred pounds in a full sprint and leap slammed the door aside and continued to give chase inside the building towards the aquatic Nautolan. He wasn't going to get away so easy.

"Damn good show." Blitz quipped as he flagged the waitress down for another bottle of the good stuff.

Xyra pressed herself backwards towards the hole in what used to be the vault door, staying away from the tigers. This why she got the message to be scarce, no doubt. It was good advice. She gave a half smile though. There was some kinship between them and her. Killers. Vicious. Not by choice, either. More by nature and the influence of others. She tapped the comm, "Vault is open. Have a problem padawan though."

Before Ryan could respond, two enormous red-black shapes blurred toward him. Korr's eyes widened and he leaped high in a somersault, coming down behind two large Raltiir tigers. The deadly duo immediately whipped around, all feral snarls and flashing teeth. Ryan's stern grey eyes widened in fright. Dealing with beasts such as these had not been in the Jedi handbook.

Teeth grit, he held his ground as both beasts lunged.

Wrong move.

As he slashed at the first one, singing fur and flesh, the other leapt onto him, bearing him down to the ground and driving fangs into Ryan's upraised arm. Pain lit through his nervous system like a wildfire, inducing a horrid scream that tore from his throat. Struggling not to panic, Ryan took his saber and buried the blue blade deep in the beast's head. The animal sagged on top of Ryan, going limp and crushing him beneath four hundred pounds of feline. He withdrew the lightsaber from the melted skull and unleashed a Force Push that nudged it off of him.

Slipping out from beneath the tiger, Ryan attempted to stand, though he had no feeling in his left arm. Suddenly, the second animal attacked him from the rear. Razor-sharp claws tore through his white tunic and ripped open the flesh of his back, inducing another scream of agony from Ryan even as he whirled around and brought his lightsaber up in a flash of motion that took off the tiger's paw. The beast roared furiously, attempting to lung at him on three legs. Ryan's next slash took it between the eyes.

The Padawan stumbled back and glanced at his left arm. Blood drenched the entirety of the sleeve and he could see several bits stringy bits of flesh hung amidst the torn cloth. Ryan ripped his eyes away and let the Force run through him, a vast river of peace that lessened the pain somewhat. His back stung, yet his arm was almost numb. Korr cast a glance at the two beasts upon the floor of the vault. Dead. They were just animals whose nature had been twisted by these felons. Ryan had had no wish to see them slain. It was a choice forced upon him.

Grey eyes of unyielding iron settled onto the Zabrak woman. He had had enough of these games.

Without warning, Ryan loosed a Force push from the palm of his hand, intending to knock her into the wall and potentially render her unconscious.

Xyra skidded backwards, ducking down and rolling with the push, hitting the ground harder than she would have liked. No big deal though. She stood slowly, shaking out the aches and bruises and wiping her face, leaning against a wall for support, She gave another cold smile. "I suggest you see a doctor. Interfering further could be more hazardous than you can handle at the moment."
She shrugged, "And I only kill when necessary. No different than you,"
