Vitor sighed. Next to his new wife - not wife in ceremony, but wife in spirit - he snuggled with her lovingly, having enjoyed his time with her so far. Her graceful skin, her eyes... Those eyes were so miraculously mesmerizing. But it was her, not her eyes, or 'assets,' that he had fallen in love with. And smiling, he kissed her on the ear, as if playfully trying to awaken her from the rest she rightfully deserved.

My eyes fluttered lightly as Vitor's kiss awakened me. I shifted in his arms so that I was facing him and smiled a little. "Hello," I breathed.

He smiled, looking her over, still under the covers as he ran his arm down her side. "You look wonderful, you know." He couldn't resist complimenting his new wife. "Last night was... It was wonderful. The first time in a very long time." He paused, snuggling up with her a bit more. "With regards to the life force you take from people, how long between feedings do you usually go? I'd like to know so we can establish a timetable of feedings from me."

I shuddered ever so slightly at the sensation as his hand slid down my side. "Thank you. It... It was my first time." I looked a bit pained when he suggested I continue feeding from him. "It is usually three weeks, though it can last a whole month if I've nothing to hunt. But... I don't want to feed off of you. I don't want to hurt you." I said, placing a hand on his cheek.

"I want you to learn control. If you feed from me, say, every other day, you will never have to take another life again. My body is strong and vigorous. Each day will allow me to regain the strength you will have taken. And you won't be living on a starvation diet." He smiled. "Unless you consider passionate lovemaking like this to be some form of energy transfer you can feed off of." Deep down, he wondered if anything had happened - a test in a good six weeks would determine whether what he thought had happened had actually occurred.

I grinned, touched. "You'd put yourself at risk like this for me?" I said. No one had ever done that for me before. I didn't even think to expect it from him.

"Yes. Married couples do this all the time for one another..." He smiled. "And considering that life may begin growing within you soon, you'll likely need more blood and energy per feeding. He chuckled. "Which means more time in bed for you and me. Maybe I need to get some liquid-proof sheets, so we don't spill any blood while kissing one another as I transfer energy to you."

I let out a small gasp. "You mean that I might be..." I said, my smile widening. A child! I might be having a child! I hugged him tightly and kissed him. This was amazing!

With a soft smile, he grinned. "Well, you've never used birth control, so it's quite likely a possibility." He couldn't help but give her another kiss, so happy that he and her were finally together. "A human and vampire having a child together. I believe they call such half-breeds Dhampirs. Hybrids between vampires and humans. Usually between a male vampire and a female human... but I suppose we're changing things." He smiled, again running a hand down her side. "Go ahead and get on top of me, so I may embrace you."
