Moross Crusade Dominion of Yuuzhan'tar

The Moross Fleet along with the Yuuzhan Vong Command ship drifted over towards the planet. Their stance suggested something unpleasant, and new quickly spread across the fleet what the Aesir planned.

Soliaels cold unpassionate gaze fell down onto Yuuzhan'Tar. By now, the vessel had received another transport filled with command staff from the False gods own command ship and its bridge was now slowly being taken over by the followers of Moross.

“Captain.” His voice resounded on the bridge, people seemed to freeze. “Inform our planetary force that we will begin the incineration of this planets northern hemisphere.”

His gaze glinted slightly. “I suggest they stay away from that sector.”

The figure at the head of the room regarded Cameron with beady red eyes before speaking. "Your power is nothing to us."

Cameron, of course, responded efficiently. Purple-white tendrils of lightning crackled around the knuckles of his right hand as it grasped the hilt of his weapon. Bringing the blood-soaked sword up to eye level, the Sith Lord allowed the alchemical creation to magnify and shoot three solid streams of the energy directly into the Priest's body.

Sounds of agony filled the cavernous room as the Priest's insides were literally contorted and ripped apart by the energy of the dark side. When the creature collapsed to the floor in a lifeless heap, Cameron ceased his attack and lowered his sword once more, allowing his silver-green gaze to shift between the room's two remaining occupants. "Kneel, and swear your fealty to Aatrox, God of Shadows." It was for show...entertainment. They would die before he left this room.

-----
The shuttle that had carried the Aesir to the Temple received the reports from the orbiting fleet. Keying into the frequency being used by ground forces in the area, the shuttle's co-pilot did what he could to relay the information of impending planetary assault. Sounded like it would...soon be time to make their departure.

With a wicked smile, Crystal stepped over numerous bodies that had already been cut down. The darkness was invigorating. She continued to follow Cameron, who taunted the beasts before cutting them down as well. Her own blade hummed and longed for the blood of these foul heretics.

The Sith took great delight in slicing them, cutting them down. Through the main hall she followed Cameron, ultimately ending up in a room with the three heretics, and their two body guards. Cameron had most of the fun in dealing with the guards, but Crystal had already begun to burn their disfigured remains. And the fire would quickly spread…

One more fell, with two remaining. The fires would consume them if they did not immediately comply with the God of Shadows. Not that it mattered.

"We will ne--"

It happened fast enough to almost not be seen. The blood-soaked, crimson blade of Cameron's Sith Sword sailed through the air and planted itself into the chest of one of the remaining Vong that had spoken. No sooner had it happened than the Sith Lord disappeared in a cloud of dark blue smoke. The similar entity appeared directly behind the last living Vong as the Sith Lord's arm shot out and through the man's chest completely. Extending his fingers, Cameron called the hilt of his weapon to his hand while his arm remained in the body of the last.

Rotating the hilt in his hand such that the blade was sideways, Cameron abruptly ripped his arm out, slicing the Vong in half. The Sith Lord flourished the weapon briefly before wiping it off on his cloak and sliding it back into the scabbard. Silver-green eyes lifted to see [member="Crystal"]. A small smile adorned his lips as he aggressively stalked towards her. Stopping just in front of the Priestess of Hali, Cameron gingerly touched her cheek with two fingers as his smile widened ever so slightly and he leaned in towards her.

When their lips were separated by mere centimeters, he utter a simple command. "Enjoy." Dropping his hand, he immediately stepped around Crystal, his body grazing against hers slightly. Quickly, the Sith Lord vaulted himself over the bannister.

Landing on the ground floor, Cameron stole a couple tentative glances around before making his way for the exit. Casting his silver-green eyes skyward, he caught sight of the shuttle that he brought him. The Sith Lord leapt into the air and manipulated the Force to levitate him higher. Eventually he ceased his manipulations and allowed gravity to carry him back down, flaring out with the Force once more just as he was about to splatter on the top of the passing shuttle. Swiftly, he lowered himself inside the open cargo bay door to find the stunned expression of the crew chief. "Back to the ship. I am done here."

So The Deceiver departed.

Soliael stared down at the planet below as the fleet slowly positioned itself above the planets northern hemisphere.

“Your Holiness. We are nearly ready.”

The False God turned his attention the man who spoke, taking his eyes off of the Gathering fleet. Orbital Bombardement was no easy feat, it took time, preparation, and quite honestly a lot of energy and dedication. Yuuzhan'Tar would be split into sectors, and each of those sectors would see nothing but fire for days on end.

That was how this world would die.

“Do you know why I'm doing this Captain?” The question was rhetorical. “There is something about these creatures. Something about the abominations that are the Yuuzhan Vong that disturbs me. They are a plague, they destroy, change, and alter whatever is around them. Little more than beasts who cling to ancient knowledge, yet never understand it.”

He scowled at that, the Captain remained silent.

“Such creatures are a blight.” It was an odd commentary, and one that seemed off putting to the Captain, but he did not question.

No one ever questioned.

Cameron settled into a seat as the shuttle continued to rocket towards orbit. The initiation of Neth's assault practically set the Force ablaze with emotion and intensity. Shifting his gaze to the crew chief, the Aesir casually intoned, "The fleet is bombarding the planet?"

The crew chief offered a succinct nod, "Yes, Holiness. The Keeper has initiated the final cleansing solution."

A smile adorned the Sith Lord's features. Most excellent.

Soliael waited a moment more, letting the fleet hang in orbit above Yuuzhan'Tar with a stillness that spoke volumes.

“Begin, Captain.”

The order was given, and only seconds later the combined might of the Moross fleet began to extinction of a planet. Turbo-lasers, proton torpedoes, plasma barrages, and hundreds of other weapons swept down from the jaws of the fleets guns. Each one sending forth enough firepower to obliterate entire starships.

Combined, they would burn a planet.

Crystal watched the faces of the two as Cameron sliced them. Their eyes darkened and they fell. Her ex husband stood before her and cleaned his blade before stepping closer to her. He was so close that she could smell him, and her skin tingled as he brushed her cheek. The anticipation of the kill, and her skin reacting to his touch had her excited. She barely heard his command, but was delighted to obey it.

The flames flickered, and were fuelled by her excitement. Within minutes the entire room was engulfed. And quickly they began to climb the walls of the structure and followed her back out to the main hall.

When she stood upon the steps of the burning Temple, she turned to watch it burn. Within a few minutes, Crystal sensed the bombardment from orbit. It was time to go.

“I do hope that our ride will be here soon,” the Sith commented, still watching the Temple burn.

Blackthorne

She of the Trillion Thorns
Priestess Visl, in the interim of all things holy and gorey, had opted to chase down a side hall several retreating figures. Not one for theatrics or dramatics, the golden gleam of her lightsaber cut them down with the calculated precision of a surgeon. She pressed on, searching side corridors and chambers, neutralizing the Vong infection one zealot at a time.

She wouldn't deny the sense of disturbing irony felt while carrying out the task. In her previous life upon Aaris III it had been the witch clans - many lives lost that day, standing for another holy entity. For a split second it caused her to wonder just who exactly had the right idea here. May no zealot die this day without thinking it was them.

~~

Flames consumed the forward hall of the Temple by the time the Priestess made her way out. She strode through, issuing influence over her path through the Force, and stepped out to join [member="Crystal"] unscathed, the scent of soot and blood clinging to her figure. Pale yellow eyes glowing balefully within her hood reflected the holocaust around them with a vibrant brilliance.

"The reign of fire has commenced," she said, head turned to gaze at the horizon, "let us leave this place sister."

[member="Piraiba"] was there, covered in the blood spilled from what Vong he could find outside the Temple proper, and she beckoned the togorian to call in a dropship, but one big enough to also accommodate [member="Apollymi Djo"] and her caravan of rancors.

Fire consumed the atmosphere.

The first volley of fire destroyed entire cities, the second ripped away at the forests and the jungles, and the last tore apart the earth itself. Yuuzhan'Tar was stripped bare. Turbolaser wave after turbolaser wave struck the earth again and again, blasting apart section after section of the planet systematically. All life was eradicated, sentients, animals, plants, and even the very bacteria.

The relentless waves of fire tore apart the very air.

Soliael simply watched.

Listless orange eyes gazed at the planet below, fire spreading through the atmosphere in a blaze of red.

The unmistakeable tranquility that fell over the assault shuttle as it broke through the atmosphere and reached orbit prompted Cameron to come to his feet. With an almost languid nature, he stripped off the cloak that had been stained with the failure of countless Vong. Standing in the center of the shuttle, the Sith Lord dropped the garment on the deck - knowing it would be collected upon their arrival onboard the Ithari Swarm Frigate he'd traveled to the system upon.

Silently, the Sith Lord made his way to the cockpit of the vessel. Slipping in the back, Cameron had to hunch over slightly courtesy of his large size. The eerie glow of his eyes gazed out the forward viewport at the destruction being wrought by the distant fleet. "Circle around the rear of the fleet. I trust you will deliver us to our point of debarkation...alive."

"Your will, Holiness."

Turning, Cameron retreated back to the troop compartment, stretching and flexing his muscles as he did so. It was always after he'd distanced himself from combat that the effects of exertion truly began to take hold.

The world erupted.

There was no other word for it. The Earth tore apart, the trees burned, the flesh was eradicated. As Soliael watched the planet be utterly rent apart he simply blinked. His gaze shifted slightly over to one of his ensigns, the man watched the destruction with a hint of horror in his eyes. The False God looked at the man, then beckoned him over.

“You find this terrible?” The man shifted slightly then nodded to his god.

Soliael turned his gaze back to the flames, then spoke.

“Worlds burn and die.” He said placating the man. “Whether by the hands of man, or gods.”

He closed his fist as he said the last word, and the fires spread.

Crystal nodded to Loxa. "Yes, let us get a better view of the fire from above." She smirked and followed Loxa, Piraiba, Apollymi and company to the drop ship that Loxa had called in. Lots of blood had been spilled this day, and the darkness had invigorated her. All in all, a good day. Now, she'd enjoy the show from orbit before they made their journey to wherever they were headed next. She didn't know. And it didn't matter. Wherever it was, she'd be having a good time. That much was certain.

-Crystal out-

The blaze began to spread. It was not just self sufficient, it was not yet expanding on its own, but the fleet began to target other sectors of the planet. It took time of course, nurturing the burning of a world was not an easy thing. The fleet bombarded sections of the entire planet for hours and hours, it seemed to go on for an age.

Soliael watched it all.

To him it was bliss. It was wonderful. The release of energy, the beautiful painting of absolute destruction.

He was not a violent man, never had been, but this, this was something different. This was the reshaping of a world, the altering of something that had been a constant within the galaxy for untold millions of years. Soliael was changing the face of the galaxy, and once again, it was for the better of the galaxy.

The shuttle managed to land safely aboard the vessel that had been detailed to carry the God of Shadows. The second the loading ramp had extended, Cameron emerged dressed now only in a pair of comfortable-fitting black pants, boots, and a weapons belt. The Aesir's unusual appearance drew more than the occasional stare from various workers in the hangar bay.

Emerging into the corridor, the Sith Lord was quickly joined by the Captain of the vessel and a servant. The servant moved swiftly and silently, draping a new cloak over Cameron's shoulders and then disappearing into the shadows from whence he came. Adjusting the cloak, Cameron half-listened to the Captain's report before raising a single hand. "That is fine Captain. I merely wish to watch the show."

Soliael gazed at the world below.

Time seemed to slow for him, it stalled out to a crawl. The beautiful dance of turbo-lasers and raging flames. Those on the bridge slowly cleared out, only a skeleton crew remaining as the fleet did its work. There was no interruptions, no Yuuzhan Vong fleet to stop them, no peace seeking morons to come and halt this. No Jedi to to speak up for the savior of the Vong Species.

This was annihilation, this was death.

Soliael's lips tucked into a smile, his orange eyes blazing with the flames of Yuuzhan'tar.

Long strides carried the Sith Lord onto the bridge of the Ithari Swarm Frigate. Cameron's silver-green gaze remained focused on the massive forward viewport. When he'd arrived within arms reach of the reinforced glass, the Sith Lord came to a stop and clasped his hands behind his back.

As he watched the combined might of the Moross Fleet pour a relentless beating onto the surface of the world that would be completely razed before they departed, Cameron stretched forth with his feelings. Every death of organic life wafted through his very soul with a sweetness that could not be described. The feeling of death all around was simply something that had to be enjoyed...for to do anything else was to obliterate the sick beauty of it all.

Half the world was now afire. The burning glow that was now Yuuzhan'Tar seemed to envelope the whole of the lightside of the planet, suns rays beating down on the world with incessant strength. Soliael had been standing in place for hours, two crew changes had happened and the ships had repositioned multiple times, but Soliael had not moved. His gaze had shifted, but he himself had remained stationary.

The thought that had irked him all this time.

Could he do this?

Could his own power sunder a world to pieces?

He knew that it could do the opposite, he knew that he could forge a planet into a thing of beauty and grace, a variable utopia. But could he do something like this? Destroy a planet to its core?

Blackthorne

She of the Trillion Thorns
It was after so many hours that the Stewardess of Moross moved to join [member="Soliael Devin Talith"] on the bridge. She need ask for permission very little anymore, and there were none aside from the Hands and the Aesirs themselves that might question her authority. Still, as was her nature, she was a non-invasive creature.

"Aesir Neth," came her quiet greeting from behind as she moved to approach, gaze averted, and dipped into a kneel, "they say on Exocron the masses rejoice in this victory."

"Holiness."

Cameron slowly turned his head to regard the vessel's Captain. "What"

"We're Winchester, Holiness. Orders?"

Cameron nodded slightly before turning his attention back to the world that the Crusade had just cleansed. Let it be a lesson to those that dared oppose the Divine Right of the Crusaders of Moross. "Return us to Exocron, Captain."

The order was distributed throughout the vessel, and it was carried out.
