Name A Writing Quality That You Wish You Had

Brian Jacques: writer of the book Redwall and the rest of the loosely chronologically ordered, successful sequels and prequels he wrote for that series thereafter. This man is a great author, but there was one quality he had that will forever set him apart from the rest and be remembered.

Brian's ability to write vivid descriptions of food and drink made you feel as though you were sitting right there at the Great Hall of Redwall and about to partake in some "Yet Another Deeper 'n Ever Pie", "Strawberry Cordial" and "Candied Nuts" *. My mouth watered each time I read these parts of the books.

I wish that I had this description quality or, at least, something comparable. What about you folks? Just one (1) quality that you desire the most, though.

Like Sweet-Tarts Without The Sweet Part
Balancing the 'show versus tell' element. Very difficult in Role Play, but it makes a world of difference. Still trying to get a handle on it.

With that one, you just have to have think innocent. Think goofy. Think about the stupidest stuff you did as a kid and do it in here; be it filling your mouth with water and then smacking your cheeks to make it spew out or saying the darnedest, most blaringly honest things about someone.
