Need my plant back bro

Actually, the dragon is rather mundane as far as player/power goes. He simply has the ability to hit something really, really hard. Generals and Admirals hold the most physical power IC. With political officials holding the 'most' power. @[member="Vanessa Nacht Seele"] The issue with the dragon isn't the power he wields, but the timing of the post and the retcon that it entails.

@[member="Vanessa Nacht Seele"] - And I just drew his attention to the ship already gunning for space, Larraq's wall of flak, and the surrounding fighters - so I'd expect he's editing more.

On another note, I apologize for getting a little bitchy. It's just been a long, long day, it's late, I already have a headache, and I can't be a happy kitty forever.

Unfortunately the angst is going to have to continue until people get this over with- without pissing in anyone's cheerios- and the butthurt reactions finish.
So... another 10-20 posts, probably.

To ease the angst:

I stopped having fun a while ago. Then I had fun playing the IBIS for a while while Ashe and her opponent weren't posting. Then we got fleeted (totally fair) and my fun died again. Now I just want to go through the motions and be done with it, so I can go play some League of Legends with my best friend who is over, instead of worrying about this crap and being obliged to stay and post for our characters' sakes.

Edit: Actually, one or two more posts, but they may be slow. I decided IRL > SWRP, and my character can't be godmodded while I'm away anyways. This thread has literally made others cry.

FYI, the bulk of the fleet is really just there to keep you from auto-running away from the planet. I had wanted to send a single wave of fighters to contest the gunships over the prison, then just use the Skira (heavy cruiser) to keep the fighting contained within the prison. My intent was only to prevent a grab and run and force both sides to sit down and work things out through roleplay.

But then the godmodding... and the blatant auto-escape attempts... Ignoring the failsafe mechanisms of the security collar... not contesting the control room (a primary objective)... among other things. And in all honesty, I had assumed you all had brought a few KM of ships to the fight. I hadn't realized until a few hours later than you all had only brought... what? a cruiser, two frigates, and a couple 'plot convenience' light freighters? Had I trusted you to stay down there and -fight- your way out, I would have ignored the naval stuff and gone down there in person to deal with things.

Hell. I would have probably thrown a small chunk of meteor at Circe.

Can't we just let this go, let Circe leave, and end all of this rage-inducing osik?
Because none of us are happy at the moment.
Even me. I'm the overly optimistic kitten.

But the more we argue, the worse it's gonna get.

it doesn't bother me one way or another. Half the board expected as much from Circe. I really don't care what anyone does so long as they don't abuse my stuff or plant flags in Mandalorian space. But if she wants out of Mandalorian prison, she needs to actually earn an escape. Not just stand up and say "Screw you all, I'm leaving because I want to." I have zero tolerance for writers that try to get what they want without putting any thought, effort, or research into it.

If you want past me, you have to earn it. Come up with something clever, and I'll let you escape. Otherwise, you're stuck running the gauntlet.

Maybe if everyone wasn't sick of this thread, none of any of that would have happened. And also, in that respect, the only "godmodding" I did was not realizing you had gravity wells up and hyperspacing, but Jon had pointed his own presence out before I even noticed and I edited accordingly. So really, now it's just a powerfest.

I know virtually nothing about gravity wells or pulsemass generators, but I know they sound like I pretty much can't do poodoo.

I might disappear for 45-60 minutes, btw.

PS: Getting Circe to do anything at this point is trying to get blood from a rock. More power to him, I see exactly why he wants minimal involvement.

I don't know if you noticed, but Circe was, ya know, locked up for the majority of the thread. Up until just a few posts ago, she couldn't do crap.
Now, however, Mark can do something. Unless your almighty fleet that appeared rather quickly, and in large numbers, decides to prevent all escape, period.
I think we're done for the night. Any more of this aggravating thread and I'll need more than just a few cups of coffee to keep myself from killing everything in sight.

Besides, you knew darn well the Mandolorians weren't negotiating Circe. Ever.

They godmodded Circe into a cell and now you're powergaming a fleet over our heads.

Hah. Hhahahah.... This is a joke. +0 respect. Gonna go blow off steam and hang out with my best friend now. Be back later.
