NIHIL RANK STRUCTURE

THE EYE
The role of the Eye is to guide the spread of the storm as well as to delineate new paths for the usage of the Nihil. Unlike in the past, there is no captured Jedi to create paths for the Nihil. Instead, the Eye does it themselves, as they are usually a potent Force user with skill in astral navigation.

Originally, the Eye was more of a guide and a fourth and tie breaking vote among the Tempest Runners. The current Eye, however, holds the most pivotal role and serves as the highest ranking member of the Nihil. Tempest Runners answer to the Eye, even if generally they are allowed to make their own plans.

Note: The role of the Eye is reserved and can only be given out by faction staff.

TEMPEST RUNNERS
These are the elite. There is generally three of them, with each commanding their own Tempest (think fleet/army). Their job is to determine targets and issue commands to their rank and file. The people in their tempest are most loyal to their particular Tempest Runner, essentially making the three Tempest Runners the power houses of the faction.

Note: The role of Tempest Runner is reserved and can only be given out by faction staff.

STORMS
Directly below the Tempest Runners are the Storms. They serve the role of Captains, leading various units into battle. Everyone serving below them reflects on them, and their actions reflect on their Tempest Runners.

CLOUDS
Filling the role of Lieutenants are the Clouds. Their main purpose is to command smaller groups of Nihil on the battlefield.

STRIKES
These are the newbies, the Private's, of the Nihil. They're usually fresh blood and constantly being replaced as they're the most prone to being killed in battle just because of the fact that there are far more of them than any of the other ranks.

Members joining the faction may do so at the rank of Storm or below without asking for permission to do so. We do ask that you decide which Tempest Runner you're going to serve under, and have a preference for having people keep it relatively equal under each of the Tempest Runners for the purpose of ensuring that everyone enjoys their roles and has people to write with.
