The second bug came at her now, flailing as it's mate had gone down. Vassara met it, coming a step inside it's reach so the talon missed and she raised the Czerka Machine Pistol, depressing the trigger. Hyper velocity tungsten slugs slammed into the beats, exploding against it's carpace and splattering blood in every direction/ Thick crimson ichor rained across the bulkheads and peppered her face. The killing blow was swift as she spun the saber once and launched an uppercut with it, slicing clear through the creature from body to head. It fell a smoking mess of knarled guts and cooked flesh.
There was someone else here now though. Originally on a mission to steal the ship she had to avert her focus. A dark presence was on board, she could feel the chaos of raw untrained force echoing through the vessel. The Sith.
A new glint in her eye lit up. Her lifelong sworn enemies were here and they were young in their training. She would have to remedy that. But first the bugs would have to go and in short order. Moving with a burst of force sped she deactivated the saber and sprinted down the length of the vessels halls. The hallways blurred by, the air whooshing around her ears as her heart pounded blood and adrenaline through her veins. Ten meters from the door to the bridge she slowed and the saber sprang to life once more.
The door was archaic, simple. A downward slash splattered molten metal to the deck and her orange blade slashed through the thin locking mechanism. The doors whooshed open and the smell of death reeked about the air. Her seasoned eyes fell upon heaps of bodies strewn across the room. Black adorned figures, some looking like captains. They were recently slain and other not so recently.
"What the frak?"
Rage still ebbed through her.
Calm, a center in the eye of the storm. Jedi are not allowed passion
Code be damned, she thought, moving closer in. The consoles were still buzzing with juice, and stray datapad lay across them, haphazardly thrown.
"Hmmm."
The lightsabers orange glow gave her just enough room to reach out and snatched it. She blew hard upon the screen, sending flecks of dust into the air. It sprang to life.....
