No Light

[member="Olan Teff"]

La La stared at Olan's wounds as he drove closer. The sudden light in the room was like a floodbomb. She carefully backed into her ship, then pointed to the spot one of those... things attacked it. "We need to repair this as soon as possible. I can call my other R unit to transport another one of my ships here with a few of my LEP droids to flood the area in light." She tried to fix her works together through her shuddering voice.

Olan looked like he'd been through robot hell and back, but she couldn't do anything about it. There really wasn't anything she could think to do for him. If she just pretended like he would make it through, maybe, just by luck, he would...

@La'kuus Quelin.

Looking at the ship as she pointed at it, he moved over slowly and looked where the spike had first driven in, and then the second one. "If we splice...-" Taking a deep breath in, he stopped talking a moment. Reaching in to the hole he pulled out a little bit of wire. "-these together, we can bypass the damage. But the ship will drive like a seaward vessel. Stiff. At best. Rocky and bumpy at worst. We just need to reach the-the hanger...I..I unlocked the outboard doors. We can get in there."

Taking this moment to just lean over and breath.

Deep breaths. Focus. Not on the pain. On keeping her alive. And yourself.

Grabbing the rifle which has been dangling off him by the sling, he replaced the spent Plug and Fire cell slowly in it. Then holds it out to La, on the sling is several extra cells. "J...just incase." Still smiling, at least doing his best too.

La La folded her arms gently. Was the treasure worth it, if you couldn't get out alive? She could probably pay to have this whole ship torn apart and have everything put into a storage unit, then still be able to pay to have the remaining parts of the ship turned into extra parts. She eyed the wires, then nodded to Olan, taking the rifle from his grip. "Thank you... I hope we can get out of here in one piece. I'll just have my mom send out some people to take it apart and bring you some riches if you want. We don't have to stay out here much longer."

@La'kuus Quelin

Olan just stared at her blankly. His face impassable for any defining emotions. Somewhat how La looks sometimes. Then he just smiled gently. "There is something specific he-here. Its important to me to get. I've been loo-looking for it for ages. And if I die getting it...so be it. Atop of that, I cannot abandon those whocame here with me. For all I know-their dead, but I won't leave until I know."

He reaches I to his jacket and pulls out another caff-suge pack to help keep his energy up, and keep a steady amount of sugar and salt in his system for all the blood hes lost. Taking also a deep drink from a small flask of water afterward. "I couldn't leave you here to die-Im not leaving them without a fight."

Her face went blank at what he said. She slowly looked to her ship, then walked over and went to help get the cords together. "Let's fix this thing. I'm going back home." She quickly held up a hand, shaking her head. "Don't try to stop me Olan, okay? I'm going home. I'm... going home." She repeated, almost slumping onto the wing as small tears fell from her eyes.

@La'kuus Quelin

Olan was quiet at that point. Moving to help her get the ship ready first. Then with his good arm-the one which would never heal properly I might add-he hugs her. Tightly. If she lets him that is.

"I won't die. La. I promise. I got something to live for. Can't die yet." That pained look on his face turned into a warm, comforting smile. There was no fear in him anymore.

La La gave a shuddering sigh, looking back for just a moment. She climbed away from the hug and onto the wing, going to the cockpit of her ship, forcing it open with both of her hands. "I'm going to try to get this thing running once you connect those wires for me. I'm leaving. Now. Just... I'll try to help if I can. Okay?"

With a nod of his head, Olan leaned forward, leaving the blaster pistol on the hull of the ship as he reached in with his good arm and pulled one part of the wire first, then the next, so they were near one another. Having taken the severed one and placed it on the exposed cabling of the other, he wrapped it around securely and nodded. "Try and start it!"

La La looked down to Olan a few times as he was busy, but as soon as it was done she started up the engines with a powerful hum of ignition. She was honestly scared that her R unit would start beeping at her, like it's ghost... Or something spiritual like that.

Pretty sure if that R unit came back as a ghost, it would be on fire and screaming. Olan had no clue as to what was really going on in La's head, but he wasn't exactly sure about his own right now.

With the ships engines alive, he takes his pistol off the hull. Grinning up at her on the flare light. "Looks like you are good to go...don't know if I should push my luck. Get the feeling you may punch me and drag me int-into that bird. Doubt you would want a dirty ol'drifter on your ship, bumming a ride."

She looked down at him, then slowly patted to her lap. "Get up here. I can handle your weight, all the way to the ship. Then I'm going home. Hurry up before I change my mind, b-baka!" She growled a little bit at the last few words. >:3

Olan stared at her a moment, then chuckled. A bit ragged. But still a chuckle. Climbing up the ships side to the cockpit, he starts to lower himself down. "I ac-actually had a better idea than the haner. Your deceased R unit gave me an idea. Bring me back towards the aft engine bay. Got an idea. One which will even the odds on this ship. And then he sat down carefully. Not just drop on her.

She closed the cockpit slowly and took controls into her hands, looking from Olan's side. She struggled a little, then got her ship up in a raggy motion, slowly dragging it out and to the back. She took the map... To. Sometime before. >:3 Ye. "This piece of junk.." She whispered, trying to set a straight course for the aft engine bay.

@La'kuus Quelin

Olan strangely enough would not make any comment about the map of all things. Even though he saw it earlier. He just remained as still as he could. And did his best not to bother La.

Looking about every so often to try and make sure they werent...having unwelcome guests hitch a ride.

If La had gotten into the bay, yeah. He would do his best to get out immediately. She would instantly notice this part of the ship seemed uninhabited by those bug-buts whatsoever. No little ones on the walls-no damage to the ship either!

"Yep! I think if this plan works...I may even be able to get out of here and get an actual dinner somewhere...maybe even see a doctor."

Atrace

Self Proclaimed Sith Elite
Atrace recieved a transmission from his newfound boss requesting he bring his ship to a requested location with as much flares and a lot of weapons, Atrace boarded the Daisya Infiltrator before Flying to the requested location. Once he was safely out of One Sith territory he sent out a transmission "ms La'Kuss, I'm en-route to the location you specified however I would like to know what you expect from me

he would receive his orders "Rescue the stranded and survive" Atrace laughed, "oh believe me I'm not going to die there of all places" He would nod before ending the transmission.

Atrace once in Hutt space quickly activated the Stygium cloak that the Daisya had equipt, he wouldn't risk a run-in with the local authority only to get wiped out, that wasn't his style. He estimated he would arrive in 25 minutes

As Atrace came out of hyperspace at the designated coordinates, he would see a massive asteroid field. In the midst of it was a extremely large ship from the looks of it. More than enough turrets on the whole ship to fend off a small army of fighters. Considering it was in a Asteroid field for who knows how long, it was in amazing condition.

From here he could see a ship was already docked to one airlock on the upper portion of the ship. And he could see green lights on the outside of the ship where most of the bays were, all of them were able to be opened with nothing but a simple command.
