...Now I Got My Cootie Shot [TRA,LOtF]

((OOC - I deeply apologize for the delay. The beatings can continue as you wonderful people see fit...))

Getting squished by the creature wasn't exactly her plan. Triko had shot the beast but it only served to piss it off even more. Back pressed against the wall, there wasn't much for the explosion master to do. It had proved to be a successful distraction as most of her team had pushed ahead. Delila had wished the Jawa had shot it straight through the skull. Blood from herself and her opponent mingled, pooling on the floor.

Thessa was babbling in her ear and Hummel was throwing items at the creature. Pissing it off more no doubt.

Wiggling around, Delila slammed her heavy boot into the creatures kneecap area, using the leverage to push back. Trying to put some space between them to free herself. Her boot! Delila just remembered her vibroblade! Struggling to reach down with her good arm, she grabbed the pommel, unsheathing the blade and lunging straight for the Rakatan -- more specifically she wanted to stab the creatures eye out.

"Can't talk Thessa. Some of us are busy. Fall back"

The Rendili caught up with Thessa rather quickly given his long legs to her short. Dirks had a real fine retort ready too for the Galan to chew on, but thought better of it when he heard the strain in Dells voice over the comm when Thee contacted her.

"I've got this… You just go get that ship ready for take off. We need to pick up the others pronto and evac the frell out of here," he said, taking control of the lift with the stash of credits on it.

Hutch quickly loaded the crates into the enemies' shuttle cargo hold, then yelled up to Thee in the cockpit. "Go, go, go!"

The match had turned into a nasty three on one, and despite being a savage opponent the Wrathful One wasn't ready to withstand all of this. Two gunshot wounds already marked her, and now that pain was amplified by a knife sticking out of her back. The blow came from under her as the Rebel leader stabbed at her face, but the sudden appearance of a knife in her back had caused her to raise her head up in a howl of pain. This left her completely open however as the red head's blade stabbed into her shoulder.

Now with four bleeding wounds the Rakata warrior felt it might be time to... reassess the situation. Already the reinforcement ships were starting to hit the atmosphere, and soon the numbers game would be turned drastically. Rolling off the Empress hissed at her opponents before moving behind the facility's door. If they wanted to continue the hunt they could do so as the odds stacked against them, besides for some reason she felt much weaker then usual. Her limbs simply didn't want to respond, and they seemed... heavy.

Running as best he could with the weight of the medkit on his back Jasper simply ran passed the past out form of several guards as he came out the side entrance he'd walked in. Taking the straightest route to the main scene he stopped cold at what he saw. The first thing he saw was Moira, and her... state. With a slight widening of the eyes he just nodded towards her in appreciation for her hardware, and gave a little wink before moving his eyes on the crowd. "Viruses are destroyed but these idiots used a vial of something, we need to get out of here before we are all dead or prisoners."

Looking over at Dells he saw the rebel leader seemed to have quite a bit of blood on her, the question was how much was her own? Grabbing a single bacta injection out he ran over to her and took a look. The only obvious wound was her ripped open shoulder, so without warning he jabbed the needle into her, and let the bacta do it's work. Looking up it was obvious to the naked eye that the situation was going to turn shortly, and soon there would be a lot of company on the ground.

Helping the downed leader to stand Jasper started for the direction of the ship, most of these people only had minutes before the virus took effect, and paralyzed them. They needed of this rock fast, "Well that was fun, next time lets bring bigger explosives. You guys sure look beat, where the hell is our pilot?"

"Perhaps she found an aquarium. I am confident the gallant Major will jump in after to save her if something is amiss," Moira said deadpan in a tone that was, you guessed it, completely impassive. On occasion she could be snarky when she was in the mood. Presently her mood was rather good, as much as someone without emotions could have moods, but beating two forcers would do that to you.

Still...no live strain of the Gulag virus. This was unfortunate. Doubleplusungood because this writer likes using meta and it seems fitting on this occasion.

She shot Jasper a significant look as he recited his tale. The hard, knowing look that said 'we shall have words'. From a killer droid who was still standing after getting most of her skin melted and one eye burnt out. She quickly joined the group and picked up the pace, soldiers coming towards her were shot with her bolter as she loaded buckshot for close range, but she noticed that they seemed to be moving slower than they should, like their limbs were heavier....interesting. Unceremoniously snapping the neck of a falen trooper she joined the group as they bolted for their getaway ship.

The Plague Doctor

Let's make Diseases!
The Plague Doctor made it to the generator and turned it back on. It seems to have been deliberately turned off. He starts to head towards his main lab sector, To find and enter his hidden room. He started his way walking there, Hearing explosions and such going on. He made it to a hallway, and found @[member="The Wrathful One"]. He looked at her for a moment, trying to see if she was a friend or a foe. Then he noticed the rebels and set the blaster's mode to it's original setting and looked at them.

With a blast of hot air, the Galan maneuvered the stolen shuttle out of the Finger hangar and back toward the door the rebels blew apart. Iced-azure gaze widened as she saw the cluster-cuss. "You better not be dead or so help me I will kick your butt to Tattooine, Delila." Clipping voice shot over the shared comm as she thumbed the doors open to the shuttle. "Dirks, make sure they know it's us and to get their butts in gear!"

They were in an enemy shuttle, after all.

Aqua-lips pursed into a thin line as she watched the incoming readouts of approaching enemy ships. Once the others were safely inside, they would make a beeline for the main ship.

As Thessa flew the shuttle towards the entrance to the garrison where the others were located, Dirks got on the comm and made an announcement.

"This is Team One Leader giving order: EVAC, EVAC, EVAC. Rendezvous at entry point for hot dustoff. We are flying a Fringe bird, repeat, Fringe bird. Do not fire. We are friendly."

With that said, the SpecOps Major readied himself at the shuttle's doors so when Thee brought the ship in to the LZ area, he immediately jumped down and ran to where Delila was noting that the General was wounded pretty badly. Hutch didn't wait for an argument with Red regarding if she could make it on her own or not. Instead he just picked her up and moved swiftly back towards the shuttle yelling at the others to double time it as they had incoming!

Hummel nodded, as the beast crept away back to the hole from which it had come. Hopefully. The most recent communiqué from Dirks suggested it was time to get off the world before things got very nasty. As the other rebels gathered around their leader, Garth remained back, feeling a pang of guilt. He should've been here sooner, he could've stopped this, but he hadn't. Sighing Hummel shrunk back behind his hood as they awaited the arrival of the stolen LoTF shuttle. Garth Hummel, always the pessimist.

Evac?

It was a bit early for that, wasn't it? He'd only seen one monstrous creature from hell and been shot at by a few soldiers. As far as missions went, that was rather disappointing.
Still, Triko re-holstered his pistols and scuttled off for the grey durasteel arch of the entrance, his rancor-leather boots clanking off the grated floor. Stopping before he reached the forest floor, he dived into a nook in the wall and hid there. He wasn't going to be surprised if any of the enemy-baddie-arsehole soldiers tried to storm the grey box of durasteel and permacrete-

-and in that case he didn't have any loaded weapons.

Delila had been in perfect condition to walk. Her shoulder was hurt, not her legs ! Of course, the overly muscled and under brained Dirk Hutchinson thought otherwise. Barely able to swipe her knife off the creature-beast she was fighting due to the quick nature of her exit, the Rebels were assembled in a shuttle. Yet it did not look like the shuttle they had arrived in on. Squirming from Dirk's grasp, Delila managed to free herself.

"Do you have white knight syndrome or something?"

Looking at her assembled Rebels, it was time to ask the big question.

"Did we get anything useful?"

Peering from his hidey-hole, Triko darted for the shuttle, tripping over every imaginable branch, root and discarded rifle on his way.

He didn't appear to have any viruses on him.

Still, he slid into a seat aboard the shuttle and dusted the browning leaves off his poncho, taking out a flask of stimcaf as he did so. He always kept a flask of stimcaf. Kept him awake.

Rumour has it that he hadn't slept since... ever.

Peering at the ginger woman as she said her words, he realized that he hadn't exactly done much other than shoot an alien once. Still, he'd shot a few enemy? troops too.

Did Triko get anything useful?

"Triko get something useful!"

He reached into his poncho, fumbling around in the vast void of infinity.

"He think..."

He tossed out a variety of items onto the shuttle floor, including:

-A deadly superweapon
-A solid diamond sword
-A Katana with an evil spirit lurking inside
-A neuranium statuette of himself
-A Greggs sausage roll
-Another greggs sausage roll
-And a small vial of cholera strain

"Triko have nothing." He sighed.

"Would you like me to wear my cape and sweep you up onto my speeder bike next time," Dirks quipped back to the redhead, a charismatic grin on his ruggedly handsome face. To be fair, Dells was covered in blood and looked worse for wear so the muscle-bound Rendili was just trying to be a gentleman soldier and help his comrade out, or maybe he was showing off for his former Eclipse partner. Who knew what prompted his actions. He hardly knew any more as his life was turned upside down, inside out since returning.

"Actually… Thessa and I did find ourselves something very unexpected in the hangar," Hutch said, then pulled over one of the crates he stashed on the Fringe's stolen shuttle and popped the lid for all to see the pot of gold in the form of credit chips in large sums. "The Rebellion hit the jackpot ladies and gentlemen."
