I just want to point out that hundreds of kilometers from gyndine is really not that far... when we are talking about space...

Most long range weaponry doesnt fire past 100,000*(Fixed)km... so yes, it is far.

Keep in mind that the moon in RL is 400,000*(Fixed)km from the surface of the earth, and the atmosphere of the earth itself is only 100Km
