I'm reviving my Jedi and am wanting for him to join a faction of Jedi. I'd prefer not to join the silvers, simply because I couldn't handle all the invasions, but if I deem someone a worthy master I just might. Draconis is adept at healing and the Soresu form. I'm hoping to learn how to enhance others with things like force valor, shielding, and battle meditation. I want him to be a buff character, and I have begun a sort of training where he reaches out to others and feels them through the force, maybe read a thought or two, but that's as far as i've gotten. On top of all this I want a sort of old school master that follows the old Jedi code very closely.

If you're going for an old school theme or feel to the character, then I'd recommend looking at the The Jedi Order minor faction. There's also the Jedi Academy Network that can connect you to teachers no matter what your faction affiliation(s) may be.
Other than that, there's the New Jedi Order of the Galactic Alliance... but as the name suggests, it's thematic elements are based around Luke Skywalker's role in the Rebel Alliance and the New Jedi Order of the Expanded Universe, not the Old Republic Jedi Order.
And of course, there's the SJO. I'm not sure we've ever been traditional as far as Jedi Orders go however. But we have Midvinter, so safe bet we have the finest microbreweries and beer of any faction.
