Omega SOCP (Any Protectorate Members)

Crazy Never Looked this Good
With both [member="Doctor Stormson"] and [member="Aeron Kreelan"] arriving to help Jenna was a little releaved to know people were helping. She wrapped her arm around Kreelan for support as she stood before seeing the Doctor rush over to help. Once she addresses herself as such she said "Oh hey, Doc. I'm sure it's nothing serious but you might want to get the bed ready for me. I think I need a week. Or two..." She made her way over, with the two's help of course, to the nearby med area where Jenna, from there, followed any and all intructions to make the healing process easier.

Sarge put a hand on the top of his thigh and pushed himself up to a standing position, rolling his shoulders to get his armor back into comfortable positions. Looking around for his blaster, he extended a hand and pulled on it with the Force. There was a faint patter-scrape as the weapon was slid across the ground at the unseen call of its owner, before leaping up and into his hands.

Removing the bayonet and putting it in a sheath at his hip, he looked to the departing woman and faded back into the background of the happenings.

The Iron Lord Protector (Neutral Good)
The droid would pat Xyhn's head, ruffling her hair slightly,

"Yes, I will teach you how to shoot properly today, Noah will show you how to use a gun as a melee weapon. Just give me a few seconds to check on the girl that just finished training with Sarge and I will start."

He explained to the young dragon before dipping his head to Miles in thanks for his congratulations,

"Thank you, Miles, but rather than congratulating me, start stretching, we are starting this training finally."

[member="Jenna Templar"], [member="Doctor Stormson"],

"Congratulations, Agent."

The droid commended Jenna as he strolled over to the Med Bay section of their training arena, where Jenna was resting,

"You survived encounter with the Sarge. Not many can boast of that, and it seems he may be willing to train you. You can not find finer in your field for it."

He would lean to give her a soft pat at the back, giving a nod to Veron'Icka,

"Take good care of her, I want her up on her feet and ready for more before I can say her name in binary."

Machine commander requested before looking to Jenna,

"Until then, rest as much as you can and savor it."

He would dip his head to the two ladies before moving on to get back to the training arena.

"Alright!"

The droid spoke up as he looked to those gathered,

"We will separate into two groups for now, one group goes with me to gun range and I will make sure you know how to handle your firearms properly, the other team starts to drill melee and hand to hand combat tactics, after some time we switch groups and their training. Firearm group, Private Chaff, Private Sleah, Private Drez, and Junior Agent Lethar, go by the range and pick out which firearm or blaster available best suits you!"

He called on [member="Meanken"], [member="Zemen Selah"], [member="Xyhn-Drez"], and [member="Muuri Lethar"], before motioning to the nearby gun range around a corner a bit away from the hologram practice arena,

"Prex!"

He called to [member="Aeron Kreelan"],

"If you could, I would want you to accompany me and help me out, make sure they pass your standards as well."

Looking to others he would continue,

"Vens!"

It was his couple-name for [member="Ventasia Terana"], [member="Ven'Rain Sekairo"], kinda like Brangelina but even easier,

"I want you to start drilling other Junior Agent Lethar, Captain Varden, Corporal Curtis, and Private Nyx in melee weapons and hand to hand combat, get them warmed up and ready before Colonel Corek can begin his SOCP regiment training with them."

He called on [member="Telgath"], [member="Miles Varden"], [member="Drapeam Nyx"], and [member="Dicer"], also reminding [member="Noah Corek"] that we still needed him for the training.

The NPCs squadmates of those mentions would presumable be sorted into the two groups as well to make them equal, or they would be taken up by other equally NPC officers for training, either way, the Iron Lord would clasp his hands.

"Alright, everyone got that? Great, move it then!"

He would imitate a whistle to signal for the orders to be carried out

A lone shuttle flew over Fondor airspace before coming to land near a monstrous building. The Pitt. Catherine had finally arrived at the place. To say that it was huge was a gross understatement. You could see the karking place from space! Although she was new to the protectorate, she was no stranger to combat.

Being a Mandalorian, and previously in the Republic Military, she have had her fair share of bruises and scrapes. She was clad in the black body-hugging suit she always wore whenever not in her beskar'gam, figuring this to be more of a training attire, light and nonrestrictive.

Climbing off the shuttle, she walked over to HK-36.

"Sorry, I'm late boss, shuttle took a while."

Finally something was happening. Curtis had been starting to suspect pulling in the squaddies for training had been just an excuse to let the Officers have a little chinwag. A few pairs had gone off sparring with weapons to the side, but this was the first time they'd been directly engaged. He fell into line as the droid called them forwards for a warm up. Hopefully the training would be appropriate for them. Their hand-to-hand weapon options consisted of either a standard issue vibroknife/bayonet or hatchet, or alternatively anything heavy they could get their hands on.

Alright, now for the fun part. Shooting range was up first. Simple stuff, but important if ya wanna last more then 5 seconds on the battlefield. He walked over in his full armor and put his slugthrower on the table, indicating he'd be sticking with his own weapon for today. He'd crack his neck and wait for the rest of the dudes called up to get over here and make their selections.

Working his way across the room Head down Zemen followed all the other designated soldiers into the shooting range where he was welcomed by the smell of burnt ozone from blaster rounds that had been shot. Taking up a spot next to Chaff, Zilo nodded his head to the man and chose a basic blaster pistol placing it down on the table he turned to the man eyeing the slugthrower that he had brought. "Now that's impressive." Zilo said to chaff nodding towards the slugthrower.

"Glad you could join us."

The machine quipped to Romanov as his troops gathered by the firing range,

"Grab a firearm you like, we will start you off with shooting drills, then we will switch and you will get some melee and hand to hand combat."

Looking over the targets in the range the droid would unholster his favorite shatterpistol as he begun to speak,

"Alright, shooting a gun is probably the easiest thing you will do in an army. You have to keep in mind two things, one- how to maintain, reload, and repair your gun if it jams, that is the hard part! Two- remember general trajectory of your projectiles, then make sure it gets from point A to point B."

As he strolled back and forth he would aim at the targets, pulling the trigger at each time he passed a window into the range to sent a metal pellet from his rail gun pistol silently into bulls-eye, without even looking at the targets.

"This is a simple trick us machines like to do."

He explained holstering his gun,

"You see I remember the position of the targets, as they are stationary, and the trajectory in which pellets from my shatterpistol travel. Then I just make sure my gun is pointed at the right angle and elevation. It is math, that is all it is, if your bullets scatter when firing it is due to vibration, find average center point and simply aim there, it will make your chances greatest."

He would look back to the troops,

"But I do not expect you to calculate those things in your head, that is what you have your iron sights and scopes for, make sure before every battle that these are calibrated correctly and if they are not then recalibrate them, they will tell you in which direction your projectiles will fly."

The machine then clasped his hands before giving out another order,

"Well start firing then!"

Noah Corek

Cocked, Locked and a Smoking Barrel
Factory Judge
[member="HK-36"]

Forgetting their previous conversation, Noah watched intently as [member="Jenna Templar"] and [member="Sarge Potteiger"] dueled. When the duel concluded and it was shown that Jenna was still alive, Noah chuckled. Looking over at HK, Noah raised a eyebrow. "She didn't do half bad, hell I half expected Sarge to break her in half. Where do you find these people HK?" Noah asked him as he looked over at the droid with a grin. When HK spoke and basically yelled out to the appropriate people, Noah looked on as everyone went to where they were supposed to be.

Noah looked down at [member="Xyhn-Drez"] and leaned over to whisper in HK's audio receptor. "Hey, who's the half-pint?" Noah asked as he looked down at the girl, sizing her up. "So, you wanna learn how to use a blaster more effectively kid?"

OOC: It is 2 A.M., I have to wake up at 9 to renew my Military I.D. and I have a sinus infection, this is all your getting!

Aeron would give a shrug, but followed the Droid none the less. Her hand would tuck the spheres away in a small pouch at her hip. Coming to a stop, she would brace her feet about a foot apart, arms crossing over her chest.

Her eyes would narrow, studying the recruits and their motions as they would train. But above all, getting a feel for them as they interacted with each other. In battle, one had to be able to depend on each and every solider to survive; to have your back.

How much teamwork would each one of these nuggets have? How much cohesion?

Chaff picked up the slugthrower when instructed to open fire. Dudes sometimes asked why he picked a slugthrower over the usual blasters. For Chaff, the reasoning was simple. Blasters, as effective as they were, gave gigantic lights that only a blind man would be able to miss which would give away ya position and the fact that you were firing at a target. Not only that, but the unusual property's of the slugs sometimes caught his targets off guard. For instance, a Jedi that had gotten in the way of one of his targets once tried to block the shot with his lightsaber. Had he been using a blaster, that would have been that and it would have been blocked. But, cause he was using a slugthrower, the round liquefied on the way from the saber and went right into his face. Dude was too busy screaming after that to stop Chaff from killing em.

Chaff would take a one handed stance as he began to fire. He'd adopted the one handed stance as opposed to the more stable two handed firing stance as his primary firing stance in order to maintain his offhand as a valid option to quickly turn to in a fight while still firing his slugs. This enabled, say, combining missiles and slugs in a single attack, or mixing it with a blade for close range. Chaff liked keeping his options open. He would keep firing slow, but accurate shots downrange until he was instructed to stop or something else happened that would give him reason to stop firing.

[member="HK-36"]

[member="Noah Corek"] would receive a pout from the small girl in response to what he said. "Hey. Looks can be deceiving. Don't underestimate me!" The childish pout certainly didn't give reason not to though. Neither did the patting from [member="HK-36"] . For all intents and purposes she looked like a kid, which had some advantages. She wouldn't be the first person shot at in a gunfight, but she certainly wouldn't be given a gun if she asked.

"But.. Yes. I do." She pulled out one of her slug throwers. The gun looked rather large in her hands, but she seemed able to carry it. She'd hold the gun up, safety on, and finger off the trigger. "I gotta figure out how to shoot these better, and how to defend myself if someone gets close. Cause.. I'm not gonna last long if they do."

"I just break into orphanages from time to time and pull few kids out to make them into super-weapons, the usual recruitment methods."

The droid quipped back before waving him over in [member="Ven'Rain Sekairo"]'s direction,

"Start training your team in hand-to-hand with Ven! Come on, no dilly-dallying!"

HK commanded before focusing back on his own team,

First he would give a nod to [member="Aeron Kreelan"] who already begun to watch over the recruits, he would scan over them as well, calling out to [member="Meanken"],

"Unorthodox stance but good aim, Chaff!"

He commended him,

"Keep at it and remember the drop of the projectiles to account trajectory, there is something I want to test you on later."

HK would look down to [member="Xyhn-Drez"] then at her words, responding with,

"Well like I just said to Chaff, just remember the trajectory of your projectiles, how much they drop, take that in account and how the gravity or lack of it affects path of your bullet, after that the bullets will go pretty much in the same direction as long as you will keep your gun steady."

He would look over her pistol,

"Speaking of which, have you tried firing it? The recoil from this caliber may be too much for you."

He would look back in Noah's direction,

"Colonel Corek will handle your melee training after we are done going over shooting, if you will want more lessons afterwards I can always train you a bit more."
