On Prakith, Shadows Clash [One Sith/Ask]

The Sith Knight that was Darth Phobos to the One Sith walked past [member="Vilox Pazela"] to move towards [member="Hion the Herglic"]. In his hands was a large box filled with colours. It was all yarn, coloured yarn for the large herglic.

Aeon Caedus had to make friends within the Sith. Whatever he had to do.

"Here, Darth Orcus. More colours." He placed them down beside him and turned to look at Vilox Pazela.

<He's at your mother's house "jedi".> Odium piped in from his place in the corner. Where he had been reading a cookbook about soups.

Shara looked up from his novel as Orcus spoke to the man before them.

He was not of the One Sith, or at least he thought himself no longer adherent to their laws and customs. One did not simply ask for the Dark Lord, he made his presence known to you. Of course Shara knew where he was, so did Orcus, and Odium, and likely every single member of the One Sith here. The Dark lord touched and grazed their mind at all times, but not this one.

The Maelibus slowly closed his book, the tiny leather bound pages folding together with a soft thud. Home economics was important, protecting the Dark Lord, even when he did not need protection, was far more so. The Sith Lord frowned slightly, looking at Vazela and then his gathered brethren in the room.

“The Dark Lord is and forever will be, out of your reach.” His voice was like rumbling thunder, the ten meter tall Maelibus standing up to his full height in the massive library.

There was a hint of threat in his voice. Shara had no idea who this creature was, but he did not like him for some strange reason. Perhaps it was his question about the Dark Lord, perhaps it was because he had interrupted a nice day or reading, perhaps it was Odium calling him Jedi, or perhaps it was just the fact that the smell of him offended Shara, but it was unlikely that this creature would be leaving the library in one piece.

Darth Banshee entered the room, she wanted to see if they liked her new range oatmeal and raisin cookies. They where still hot, and smelt lovely, she was sure they where better than her last batch. The last batch the younger acolytes manged to use to brake walls with. Some thing she was embarrassed about.
She looked at her fellow sith and the weird looking jedi, and said Come and get them while their still hot. Would any of them be brave enough to try her cookies.

Sith cookies. Orcus' stomach rumbled. He stood up, lightly putting aside his half-knit mittens, and gingerly picked up not one, but two cookies. The Herglic launched an enormous smile at [member="sabrina"], then stuffed one of the cookies in his mouth. Orcus opened the chairside table's drawer and pulled out an item that looked like a salt-shaker. He shook it all over the cookie.

"Ah, sprinkles!" He turned a massive, black eye toward Shara. "Sprinkles are my favorite. Hauum."

He moved over to [member="Vilox Pazela"] and offered him the cookie.

His eyes followed the new comers in the form of Darths Phobis, Baneshee and Odium. He locked eyes with the latter, Odium, when he called him a Jedi. "Amusing," thought Vazela. Then Hion the Herglic stepped forward and then it clicked. He would not be mocked anymore. He was here to takeover and if these 'Sith Lords' didn't like that.

Tough luck.

Snap-hiss.

In a fluid motion, Vazela's response was to ignite the Lightsaber in his left hand and spin the crimson light into Darth Orcus's outstretched flipper, followed by a Force Push into his chest. It was a Niman technique, of which would be his chosen form here. It was said that a Master of Niman could pick off opponents one by one. Perfect for being outnumbered.

It was at this point that the tall, black-clad creature entered the room. It carried a tray of piping hot brownies and wore a small, frilly apron. As it entered, it passed before [member="Vilox Pazela"] as the so-called Jedi Knight struck with his lightsaber. The glowing blade hit the creature's active shield generator and was stopped easily. Agnusdei continued on, oblivious to the attack as the Force Push blew behind him as he passed quickly, brownie tray in hand.

"I... have back snacks... Who would like one...?"

The good Doctor saved Orcus' flipper, but the Force Push knocked 849 pounds of Herglic blubber onto his rumpus. Nightcap blown off, Orcus rose in a trembling fury. His flipper squeezed tight, crushing the ixetal cilona sprinkled cookie into crumbs.

"INTRUUUUUUDER," Orcus bellowed with massive lungs, his voice traveling through the entire temple, "INITIATE LOCKDOWN."

In seconds, blast doors slammed closed around all the exits, quickly followed by rayshields.

Darth Banshee saw the Jedi pull out his light saber, typical Jedi always running in head long. She wonder if they ever truly understand the wonders of the force, and not their narrow mind view of it. Though he had to punished for attacking her family, so she told him in no uncertain terms [member="Vilox Pazela"] Go to the naughty step, KNOW! She stood bolt up right, and pointed to nearest stair case, and then turned her head towards it. She hoped one day he would realize the error of his ways.

Shara raised himself from his chair, watching as the Good Doctor passed into the room with snacks. Normally he would have devoured the entire tray, but it seemed that this child was intent on attacking them, something that Shara would not stand for. He placed his small book on the table besides him, folding his glasses and placing them atop his book.

“You think to step into my home and attack my brother?” His voice was a growl like rolling thunder, drowning out the hiss of his lighsaber against his chest.

Massive tree trunk like arms raised themselves slightly, Shara pulling himself up to his full height of three meters, his imposing shadow falling over Vilox as a scowl replaced the grin that had been on his face.

Normally Shara would have taken the young man by the throat and torn his body apart piece by piece, but he thought this might make a decent learning experience for the young, apparently over adventurous young man. He looked at Sabrina, smiling slightly, but he shook his head. Slowly his attention returned to the young upstart.

“Child.” He spoke to [member="Vilox Pazela"], his black beady eyes settling on the creature. “Let us instruct you in your mistake.”

A single step forward made the floor rumble.

Unlike his Master, Sopher was never good at hologames. Sure he tried and [member="Daella Apparine"] tried to teach him to be a better support or something like that. The kid just couldn't focus long enough to really get good at them. So instead he played games like World of Suncraft or Chaos III, which didn't take too much intelligence to defeat, but gave him a sense of accomplishment and friends. Today though, he had opted out of playing games and found himself laying on his bed. He was supposed to meet up with some folks but decided to just lay there.

His mind wandered to his datapad and as quickly as he could he stood up and wandered over to it. Pushing a few buttons, he flicked through the holonet. Pausing for a moment, he wandered about the room and locked all the doors. The last thing he needed was for someone to bother him while he read. Knowing this was a tear jerker, Sopher grabbed a tissue box and set forth for his adventure.

Vazela lifted his gaze to Shara. Perhaps it was his species, perhaps it was ignorance, but he did not consider himself a child; and had decades of knowledge into Sith Alchemy and Sorcery to testify to it. As Orcus fell onto his back side, Vazela maintained his gaze on Shara as he stepped forth. He was immediately on the defensive, within the Niman technique. Opening an offensive would only allow himself to be open to attack himself. Force Sense would tell him when the others joined in, that is, if they did join in.

Shara looked at the little man, his every muscle rippling with untold strength.

The massive Maelibus was strong enough to tear a Krayt Dragons leg off, and then kill the creature with it. That wouldn't be much help here, given that they were inside of the Prakith Library, Shara's home. He did not want to destroy this place, he would if he had to, but he'd rather keep the thing whole for now. Huge black beady eyes settled on Vazela, and slowly the Maelibus took another step forward.

Then another, and then another until he stood directly before Vilox. He hissed slightly and raised a massive tree trunk arm, his middle finger flexed against his thumb, and then like a viper Darth Shara struck out.

It was important to remember who it was that stood before [member="Vilox Pazela"], or better yet, what. Shara was a ten foot Tall Maelibus, massive for his species. Maelibi were a race that prided themselves on incredible strength, a normal Maelibus was capable of dragging a small starfighter down into the depths of Iego, Shara, was nearly twice that strong, enhanced with the force as he was.

His hand shot forward, his arm moved with lightning like speed, and his middle finger shot out from the trap of his thumb.

A simple flick of his fingers.

Vazela respected strength. He would of even taken a moment to incline his head to Shara as of sign of it. But that moment had come and gone, as the giant Maelibus stalked forward and with venomous intent, launched his two fingers towards the Dark Jedi to snap his neck in two and be done with the would be usurper to the One Sith and their schemes.

However, Vazela was no ordinary Human. He had the power of the dark side with him; and his untold knowledge of it would be in comparison to the untold strength that Shara possessed. If it was strength that was Shara's main source of power, then it was the dark side that was Vazela's. With his Force Senses attuned to the danger around him, he already knew the intent of Shara on the last step. Through the power of observation and his attuned senses to what was around him, the Dark Jedi came up with a solution to Shara's advance.

Force Barrier was Vazela's response, timed a split second before Shara's would be grip snapped his neck in two. Held in mid air, Shara's fingers impacted the invisible wall of Force energy, creating a shock wave as an unstoppable Force met an unmovable object. Books fell, shelves collapsed and gust kicked up in the small expanse as wave flew in all direction, before coming to an eerie stop.

Behind the Force Barrier, as Shara held his fingers up against the energy with Vazela within it's radius. The latter held his sulfuric, predatory stare on Shara; and in that moment, the Maelibus knew that he had met someone who could match him.

Finally, members of the Sith and beyond would see what Vazela was capable of. He would not sit in the middle of a throne room, watching an Emperor be dethroned, nor would he stand on the sidelines as he done at O'reen and Coruscant, merely to observe. Here, on Prakith, the Dark Jedi would show his full powers; and Shara was to be the unfortunate One Sith at the end of his wrath.

Meanwhile, the orbalisk encased Herglic did not sit idly by and let his brethren do all the fighting. He moved around the right flank of the itty-bitty engagement, watching with some amusement as Shara reached out to flick the trespasser aside like a bug. Suddenly, a shockwave rippled outward from the intruder, knocking over bookshelves. The pressurized air buffeted Orcus, but he remained immovable. You see, while Shara was three feet taller than the Herglic and would likely beat him in an arm wrestling match, Orcus was much heavier. Eight hundred and fifty pounds of blubber does not budge easily.

The Herglic came around behind the trespasser and raised both his flippers above his head. The orbalisks fed off of the Dark Side in his body and in return granted him an increase of strength and speed. Couple this with the fact that a backhand from a Herglic can send a human flying and you might have an inkling of the kind of might that Orcus could toss around. A pillar of physical power, Orcus raised both his flippers above his head and brought them down in a hammer fist straight at Vazela's head and shoulders, intending to clobber him into the ground from behind.

With Orcus behind and Shara in front, things did not appear fortuitous for the daring protagonist. Limelight can kill.

[member="Vilox Pazela"] [member="Darth Shara"] [member="Darth Vornskr"] etc.

Well, that escalated quickly.

I mean...

That really got out of hand.

It was all fun and games until someone ruined it for everyone, and Kaine just halfway done coloring in Darth Sidious when the reverberating impact of Orcus' rump caused a shockwave that send the Sith Lord's colored wax spiraling off from it's intended course, ruining the entire picture. In a fit of rage, Kaine flung the coloring book far off into the corner, and emerged from behind the bookshelf to discover what had dared interrupt his special coloring time. What he saw made his blood boil, Shara engaging some hooded upstart that reminded him of another person he had met previously but didn't have the exact impact on him to be remembered, which he didn't like because he always attempted to remember everyone he came across. Orcus was also sprawled on his ass, no doubt the source of the shockwave that devastated his coloring book.

Kaine whistled loudly for his pet, which was currently coiled all nice and tight on one of the higher shelves in the library, but when it heard the call of its master, it sprung back into life. Uncoiling, the massive three meter Amphistaff known to many as the Scepter of Power, but was also known as the King of Amphistaffs, launched itself from it's alcove and glided through the air towards it's master. The Amphistaff then proceeded to coil around Kaine's left arm, hissing loudly as Kaine's emotions funneled into the serpentine beast. "None shall dare defile this sacred temple, relinquish yourself intruder, and your death shall be swift. Otherwise your punishment will be legendary even in Hell!" Kaine ignited one of his curved-hilt lightsabers, and held it aloft as he moved to join with the others.

However; Vazela's attack created another shockwave that would devastate most of the surrounding library in the vicinity, and that only angered Kaine further. To counter Vazela's attack, Kaine conjured forth a emerald green protection bubble to shield his person from the shockwave and the debris that would follow it. "You have opted for oblivion, very well." Deactivating his lightsaber, Kaine conjured forth vibrant azure lightning from his fingertips, and funneled through through the bubble to create a powerful bolt of lightning to strike at the intruder with the precision of a coiled viper. The stream would not be continuous, however; Kaine did not want to unnecessarily injure his comrades Shara and Orcus, who attacked from the front and from the back.

Shara simply pressed his fingers against the invisible barrier of the force. His expression not change and his beady black eyes did not leave those of Vazela. There was no thread to him here, there was no match to his power, He had no power, all that he had belonged to the Dark Lord. He pressed against the barrier, his finger pushing and breaking through the barrier, slowly shattering it.

The moment the barrier broke, Shara would flick his finger against Vilox, and hopefully break his spine in one swift motion.

Of course the man could always move and dash out of the way, but Shara had control enough that he would not strike Orcus should the little man move aside. The Sith lord kept pressing, using all his strength to break apart the force barrier at its very center, like a spear tip pushing through a piece of armor.

A very powerful spear.

The Force Barrier that had been erected around his body, only for the Maeilbus Shara to break in an epically short amount of time, had brought Vazela the time he needed to make an analysis. Force Sense still up, allowing him to have a sensory perception of the surrounding area, allowed the Dark Jedi to note the movement of Darth Orcus closing in around the rear.

"This creature has broken the barrier. Impressive," thought Vazela. He began to lift his Lightsaber into the path of the finger, to divert it with the swing of the crimson Lightsaber, as part of another Niman technique to deal with so many enemies at the same time. "Whilst I am distracted with dealing with this monsters strength from breaking me apart, Orcus intends to close in from behind and break me apart."

As he swung his Lightsaber into the path of Shara's finger, he saw the crimson light burn into the finger, only for the emitter to stop working and the Phrik casing of the hilt to break apart in his hands, as the power behind the literal poke destroyed his Lightsaber as well. As the pieces of metal fell to the floor, Vazela's eyes averted to the speech of Vornskr, followed by the stream of Lightning that followed his pseudo bad guy talk.

"Overpowered by this creature; outflanked by Orcus; and a stream of Lightning from Vornskr." He diverted his body and shifted it acrobatically, as he would of done if he was in an Ataru form. "I will use Shara's strength and Orcus's weight against themselves; and ensure that this Lightning does not hit me, but rather, the others."

As Vazela diverted his body in a fall away from Shara's diverted finger, thanks to the sacrifice of his Lightsaber, he lifted his hand towards Orcus and Force Gripped him. Waving his hand in a motion towards the jet of Lighting heading to him, Vazela moved to push Orcus into it's path. His free hand, then maneuvered to push itself down into the ground to flip up over Orcus's hands as he pushed down with his combined weight and gravity, to get away from the fallen Jedi Knight, the Maelibus who tried to crush him and the Lightning that surely would of obliterated him.

Alas, for all of Vazela's observational and analysis skills, as well as his knowledge of Niman and Ataru to deflect and dodge their attacks, in order to turn their offenses onto each other, the Dark Jedi was caught by Orcus's flipper, which sent him spiraling over the whale and down onto his back. Thus, the cowl of his robe fell off and Vazela found himself laying down at the foot of the flight of stairs, with his sufluric eyes looking up at the formations of rock. In this moment, he was finding himself in the motivation to move.

Getting caught in the ankle by someone as heavy as Orcus and the resulting drop in mid flip onto ones back hurt a lot, you see?
