Ami was still adjusting to being in the galaxy again after a brief absence from society, from the Force, and from the Jedi Order. But having spent time with Caltin, one of her dearest friends, her love of the light had been revised, and so now here she was once again, waiting to meet yet another new person. It had been her life for the past few months - meet people, befriend them, help them. Today Ami would be meeting a young woman named Dreidi Xeraic Dreidi Xeraic . She had heard some promising things about the child; that she was strong in the Force, and had a bright future. But like many young people, teenagers specifically, she had an inflated sense of self.

It wasn't necessarily a bad thing, though it was certainly a teenager thing. Ami had had similar issues in her youth, had thought she knew better, and could do better than her peers. But having come into masterhood, she had learned through trials and tribulations, pain and sorrow, that she was not better than anyone. It was a hard lesson to learn but one that all people had to learn. << Dreidi, would you please meet me in the garden. >> It was not difficult to project the words through the Force for the young woman to hear. Ami hoped that she would listen.

Dreidi was in her room, headphones on, listening to some music as she leaned back on her bed. Her eyes were closed as she bobbed her head to the music as she scrolling through social media, she was checking out what people were doing. Seemed to be pretty basic, though there were people posting around the events and problems that were going on. It was crazy to see people's reactions, some were supporting the chaos, the destruction, the revolution as they put it, others were strongly against it all. Dreidi wasn't sure what to take on the situations, she knew that some people were wrong, or bad, but she hoped majority of people were decent. However, comments online were mean for the most part. Like really cruel and mean. Were people inherently bad?

Sighing, she turned off her phone and just carried on listening to the music, "enough of the doomscrolling for one day. Hopefully things will get better, right? Things are good here, so why can't that spread?" Talking out loud to herself as her fingers idly strummed an air guitar in beat with the song. "Just gotta stay positive... It will get better, chit can't get worst." As she was humming the song to herself, she heard a stranger's voice in her head.

Someone had contacted her to meet with them, she wasn't sure who it was and the message was very to the point. It was confusing, had she agreed to meet someone and just forgot... Again? Noooooo, Dreidi would have remembered setting a meeting with someone. Surely. Yeah. Definitely. Maybe? Shaking her head, she jumped out of bed and checked herself out in the mirror to make sure she looked tidy enough to head outside. Clothes were stain free, crumpled from laying down in bed but nothing terrible.

Smoothing her favourite band t-shirt, grabbing her oversized plaid shirt and her new sneakers, Dreidi checked she had everything. Lightsaber was clipped to her studded belt, attire was sorted and she even had her bracelets on and Padawan braid tucked neatly behind her ear. She was pleased with herself, she had thought about trying to put some make-up on but she wasn't sure about the stuff she maybe stole from a shop... Who could afford 40+ credits for a small box!? It was a con!

Heading out to the meeting location, Dreidi pondered on who she was meeting. No name had been given so she wasn't sure who it was. Also, how were they able to contact Dreidi through the Force, could they sense her, was it a mass message that everyone heard? Oh Ashla, everyone heard and is going to assume that she is late, or ignorant. Cursing herself, Dreidi avoided eye contact like the plague as she made her way to the gardens and found a tall red-haired woman standing around. The air of authority around her suggested to Dreidi that this had to be the Jedi that contacted her. Like, this was very typical look of a Jedi from Dreidi's experiences.

Hearing the approach of the young woman in question, Ami had turned to greet her with a smile. There was no malice, nor ill-intent, or judgement in her expression, just quiet gratitude that Dreidi had listened and she hadn't been forced to go searching for the child. Ami was certain that if she had have bought Dreidi out by force it would not have been well received. "It's lovely to meet you, Dreidi. I am Ami Carson." She offered her a hand to shake, treating her like an equal and not like a child. "I've been asked to meet with you with the hope that I might be able to guide you on your journey and to teach you."

Ami saw no reason to mince words. Dreidi was still young and showing worrisome behaviour that needed to be curbed. Ami had been deemed the best person to help the teenager due to the similarity between them. She did not imagine it would be a particularly difficult task. Dreidi seemed like a smart young woman. "That is if you aren't too busy." Though it was expressed as a request, it was expected that the young woman would make time for the Master and the lesson she had to teach.

The woman who called to her was standing before Dreidi and extended her hand. Dreidi took the hand with great reluctance and shook it slowly as she looked up to the Jedi Master. She assumed that it was a Jedi Master since she was mentioning training and guiding Dreidi on her path. Chewing her bottom lip in thought as she let the Master speak, she wanted to see what this stranger had to say and how she would act towards Dreidi. She remembered how Caedyn Arenais just gave up on attempting to train her because of his stuck up attitude and trying to force her to respect him when she held no respect for the man she did not know. It had left a bitter taste in her mouth for most of the senior Jedi Masters, since if one of them acted that way then surely most of them did.

However, something about this woman said to Dreidi that she was trying to understand her not judging or talking down to Dreidi like others would. It was a similar feeling to the Sith guy who taught her how to Force Scream. While not talking down or looking down upon Dreidi, they gained respect in a way few could from the young Padawan. Enough at least to give this training session a try, over leaving the previous Jedi Master in the dust from their argument that Dreidi still believed she had won in.

Leaning back, Dreidi crossed her arms over her chest, a grin flickered across her face as she tilted her head thinking, "well... I guess I couuuuuuld fit you in before band practice. I suppose." A wicked grin of teasing etched on her expression.
