One Sith Invading Coruscant OOC

Heeeeeeh. Well my duelist went on LOA (Well deserved one!). I'm securing Monument Square, going to make a couple posts fighting a mean Vong warrior. Gotta stretch my legs out.

Actually I saw he had his foot on your characters chest, I came in for aid? My mistake.

Someone like him would be a tough cookie to crack, Jedi work together!! But hey I can deal with Vong. Am dealing with them now.

Besides he went on LOA.

Ah so the Bloodfin Squadron doesn't get to fight, huh?

Oh well, I suppose that means a greater probability of them surviving (I was considering making a character from one of the Bloodfin Squadron npcs once the thread's done, or at least once my involvement in it's done, the time of which will all depend on how the current duel ends)

You know, there's a part of me that wishes for a duel where the odds are even - not necessarily to win, but one where I have the POSSIBILITY to win, since everybody else seems to either:

1) have more training (understandable in the first two instances to a degree, since he was attempting but failed to seize a tactical advantage the first time, and the second time made the mistake of hesitating, but this third time almost comes across as blatant power-gaming)

2) have access to something like cortosis

3) could be metagaming (if it isn't just handwaved as "The Force")

Seriously, I'm getting sick of my character being nothing but a punching bag for the whole campaign so far. I hate to whine like this, but it needs to be addressed. <_<

NOTE: I'm not asking anybody to throw a fight, quite the opposite in fact. What I'm asking for is a good duel that isn't quite as one-sided in favor of the other person - I'm fine with losing if it's a close match, but being on the receiving end of curbstomps every time is getting really old by now.
