Its in the Map update as a tier 2, and unless [member="Mantic Dorn"] and the rest of the Faction Admins Decide, thats what tier it is.

That is exactly how it works. once a dominion goes to 110 posts it becomes a tier 2 and any faction/person can join in to push it towards rebellion. If we had stopped at 109 then it would remain tier 1 and faction leadership would have had a say.

Any Member Can Join: Upon Approval by Major Faction Leadership.
Any Faction Can Join: Upon Approval by Major Faction Leadership.
Gains: One Target Planet
Maximum Dominions A Major Faction Can Complete Per Month: N/A

Jeez, balance clearly was not on the mind when these rules were written.

My biggest criticism about these rules is they simply allow major factions another way to wage invasions against other factions, using the shield of "minor factions."

If rebellions are going to be a thing, they need to be a thing strictly between the minor faction, and the major faction, with no allies on either side. Let it reflect a true rebellion, which is typically isolated with limited interference from outsiders.

I feel this needs to be brought up to site Admins, if the intention is really to give minor factions some leverage, rather than provide another way for major factions to instigate and grieve each other.

Id honestly like to see five ally slots for a minor faction that way it's not a pile up invasion of a hundred different factions with no terms

it would be a lot well more clear. as it is now a couple of assassins (the faction that wants this) and every other group that just wants to screw with things.
