For everyone that I'm engaged with over my four characters:

I am going to have extremely limited internet over the course of June 5th - 8th. Doing some wetland work out in a remote location in Maine, so if I get a chance to post, I will do my best to throw some stuff here or there. But I wouldn't expect much. I will do my best to respond to posts as needed today.

Note to all on Outpost Veers at Hoth.

Due to Rexus Wenck setting up thermal detontors deep beneath Outpost Veers here

"Quit your whining maggot!" The stormtrooper major barked at Rexus as he scrambled with his bag of detonators, "If you don't keep your mouth karking shut, I will sew it shut!" The major bellowed. The Gundark Gunners, or more reasonably, what remained of them now scrambled deep beneath Outpost Veers, setting up thermal detonators, and booby traps.

The thermal detonators the thralls now placed had inbuilt sensor beacons. As soon as someone tried to pull a fast one on the Outpost Veers garrison, the detonators would go off, burying tonnes of ice and snow upon the plucky infiltrators. So far, Rexus and the Gundark Gunners remnant had rigged about one point eight kilometres worth of tunnel with the detonators. It may cause some tremors, but . Wenck carefully applied some ice to the detonator, covering it up. Anyone who stumbled through those tunnels wouldn't see the detonators until it was too late.

He has blown up the tunnels HERE and made a crater at outpost veers.

So i figure this may be important for everyone to know for situational awareness.

So I have a quick question about your latest post, maybe you can help me with clarification. In your post you mention you are able to charge up to and take the command center, but I noticed you didn't tag any of us or even mention that we are all in the general area, Gabriel even having carving his way through the door in this post here. So, I'm quite curious how you were able to get inside without engaging either Gabriel, Shamira, myself, or Kaida.

There are multiple entrances to the command center, notably at least 2 (One that was originally entered by my characters, and the second which Gabriel is carving through) not to mention the complex catwalk system within the facility itself. Additionally, the complex itself has at bare minimum at least 4 entrances, NESW. That being said, tags appear as if they were attempted but the coding must have failed.

If memory serves, Mishel entered from one of those other 4 entrances while it was generally accepted that the conflict and entry point of your faction's writers were via the Northernmost entrance.

Specifics aren't mentioned - but as specifics aren't mentioned, it's been up to the writers to determine layouts. As I've stated, it was a generally accepted layout in the sense that there was no objection when these were stated in my previous posts. If you're wanting to follow the submission to a T - then there's not FOSB safe room, data, nor data cache, there may not even be a "Control Center" and the entire premise is moot.

I'm a little confused here with the issue - is there a specific action which you'd like us to take? So far, all of this has been handled within the writing itself - and if issues arise it's been handled by either handwaving the specifics in efforts to create a better story or conflict. It's no different than the description of the Mining Facility on Mustafar and how things were created in writing about the layout which changed the confrontations from what was either in the wiki or submissions. Likewise, at Kuragin (Submission), details aren't 100% definitive, there is no map, and so writers have had to work around that by designing their own environment as long as it has stayed true to the submission overall. Hilikan plant is no different.

Post Note - If my reading is correct, Gabe, Kaida, Shamira - came in from the North. Taeli came in from the West - which is where Brennan and Ara were as well. Mishel has entered the facility through the South.

I believe the issue stems from Gabe spending several posts to get to where he is, and another to gain entrance, and rather than engaging him, you bypass him with another entrance to the command center that has been created in the way you described.

The main difference is that Gabriel had been engaged and was interacting directly with characters who were inside the command center/control room. Mishel's entrance was from a different direction and she was not accosted at any point during her posts. They may be less in number, but a reasonable time frame was given between landing with the Thranta and advancing into the facility as well as gaining access to the command center. As a note - most industrial plants and factories even in present day never have only one entrance to the supervisory center whether it's simply a platform above the workspace or a dedicated control room.

I'll again point out that this is very similar to the situation on the FIS Kuragin. Tunnels, corridors, and consoles have been created by writers of both factions that aren't detailed in the submission. As this is a similar situation and those have been generally accepted by all the writers involved, is there reason to believe that this gives an unfair advantage or is it violating any terms of the Invasion?
