The irony of this fight paralleled to her last was not lost on her. Her grin turned to a smirk; imagine what the Jedi will think, she thought silently, but it was easy to guess her meaning.

She returned the salute with joking cheer as Imperia dove off the landing ramp, and was quick to follow suit after Onley took his turn. Her feet took her to edge of the ramp without hesitation, and she looked down at the overshadowed forest without hesitation, and her hand ignited both ends of her saber without hesitation, and she took a single, small step into the air without hesitation.

In fact, it took a good few seconds of falling as the wind whistled past her before doubt suddenly and overwhelmingly threatened her actions. All of the others, when they landed, would be fighting to kill. It was more likely than not that their experience with murder far outweighed hers, not that she cared. No, it wasn't just the killing that would've stopped her in her tracks had she still had control over her movement. It would be no effort in way of ability to take out the entire camp, even less so with a team of Sith at her back - there was no doubt that they would kill their targets. But their targets had done nothing. They weren't monsters, they weren't criminals, they weren't Jedi. They were inoffensive, innocent creatures alarmed at the oncoming wave of Sith and taking shelter to avoid getting caught in the midst of destruction. And they would die for no reason.

Does there have to be a reason?

Aria knew the answer already. There didn't, not really; there never had to be a reason. If she wanted to kill, that was her reason to kill. Did she want to kill?
She had forgotten all about her bracelet with everything going on around her, or she might have noted how perfectly the murderous impulse arose as if to answer her question. Or perhaps it slipped her notice simply because it had always been there, simmering quietly, waiting for the opportunity to make its move. Whichever it was, it was there at the exact right moment; that strange longing to spill blood, to cause pain, to bring death. A part of her hated it.

But a part of her didn't.

Her free hand reached out instinctively to cushion the landing, and Aria was on her feet in a moment, the hand wielding her saber shaking but at the ready. Just this once, why not forget all about her moral codes and her fragile desire for altruism? Kill them all, enjoy it. Then shrug it off, go on fighting. Perhaps kill more, perhaps not. It didn't matter. She wanted them all to die. And so they would.

One by one, they died. The first was a tall redheaded woman, built like a shockboxer; she charged as she saw Aria, and she fell as she saw a crimson blade pierce her front. Then a Togrutan man, perhaps thirty, running for his life - quite literally. A single push of energy from Aria's free hand, and he slammed headfirst into a faraway tree trunk. A fairly young-looking Twi'lek had crept up behind her in that process, and so her third kill of the day was committed within such close range that Aria had to wipe a spray of blood from the side of her face.

She lost count after that.

Lynn kept her attention on the twin Sith before her, until Master Heavenshield placed her hand on Lynn's shoulder. She nodded as she let Master Heavenshield deal with the Sith, she drew her other pistol and began sharp shooting the Sith Troopers who began to attack them. She aimed for spots to not kill them, but take them out of the game. She would dock down under fire from a few troopers who got some lucky shots, but continue this little dance until she felt herself being grabbed on both arms. She looked around her as both Sith Lords had her and began fighting against them, "Let me go you cowards, fight me like real men!" She didn't get to hear their response as quickly after being grabbed she was sent for a flying lesson off the gate.

Her mind, still calm, but both her pistols were no longer in her hands, but sent in some other direction away from her. She did not worry about them, but instead focused on her fall. Looking around she saw many enemies, but saw a nearby large pile of snow. Using the momentum and a bit of the Force she corrected her fall and landed in the large pile of snow, going deep and out of sight. She laid there a moment letting herself catch her breath before she began climbing out of the snow. Her armor and her hair were caked in snow and using the sleeve of her robe she wiped the snow from her face. She looked around herself to get a feel for her new surrounding when her eyes stopped on [member="Connor Harrison"] and [member="Eldaah Aderyn"]. She could tell she was not looking at allies, but the man looked familiar. With a puzzled expression she starred at him trying to figure out where she had seen him before until like a slap in the face it hit her. This was the man in the statute. Where the Jedi Shadow's met, there was a statute of the former Jedi Shadow commander that read,

"Gone, but not forgotten."

Lynn had heard about his betrayal and conversion to the Dark Side, but in reality she knew even among the Shadows he was not one to shy away from the Dark Side. She lifted her right arm and from her sleeve Badmother shot to her hand and she activated the blade pointing at Connor. "I know who you are, but you don't have to be that. Come peacefully and we can save you. No one is ever too far gone." Just like her duel with Zmej Ren, she knew her words were most likily useless, but unlike that duel, this time she would fight with everything instead of avoid killing someone. She did not want to kill, but her Master had taught her well and she would do what was necessary to stop the Sith.

I needed no response from Connor. His almost refusal to answer only confirmed my fears. He was gone. There was no way to change him. He was not someone I could save. He was someone I had to stop. However, more pressing matters came to mind. Looking up to the sky as the ships began their descent towards us. Dropping my hammer for a moment, I clenched my gauntleted fist in my hand. Cracking my knuckles beneath the armor. Making high pitched ding sounds as they popped from echoing within the armor. Letting my hand drop, the hammer returned to my hand as I rolled my head. Preparing for war. Pointing to a man who was there, I motioned him over.

"Get all the civilians you can out of here. This is no place for them. I don't care what you have to do, protect them."

I didn't wait for an answer as I began to trot off towards the main battle that would come to a front. One filled with weapons ranging from swords, lightsabers, axes, and even my hammer would be thrown into the fray. It was here that I could clearly see that we would be losing someone of importance to us. I had this gut wrenching feeling that we would not leave this battle unscathed. I slowed myself. Already I could feel the force weighing heavily upon me. In the distance, I could feel one powerful signature. One that felt young, yet had the guise of being older than death itself. I had never felt this before.

This person was strong in the force. I could feel it radiating it off of them. I could feel the sickness like waves crashing into my mind. I shook my head. My body feeling like it was being exposed to not death, but a Ruler of the Dead. I could almost smell it through my helmet. Looking in the distance, I could see the trees. Trees now cover a ship that was slowly landing onto the ground. I knew where they were. I knew where to go. Now, I just needed to head there. Throwing my hammer back into its loop on my belt. I looked around me. Looking for anyone, or anything to help me give an edge. Smiling, I found a very simple shield. Used to defend against beasts, and the "zombie" like walkers that roamed the planet. It would hardly stand up against a lightsaber, but I knew how to work around that.

Picking the round shield up, I slipped it onto my back. the metal bracer holding firmly on the magnetic strips on my back. While they were meant to hold a rifle, or two, it instead held a shield for me. Turning towards the forest, I made my way in that direction. Passing a few Jedi, and other soldiers, I made my way to the wall. Quickly getting closer and closer to it. There was no time for me to go around. I shook my head as I got closer. Still as brash and headstrong as I am when I was a Padawan. Using the force to change my speed, I rushed faster than any normal human should have ran, and at the last moment, jumped up. With the aid of telekinesis, I lept up to the top of the wall to get a view advantage.

Looking towards the forest. I activated my HUD feature to zoom in. I couldn't see anything right away, but I knew someone was there. I could feel them. I could feel her. I knew it was a Her. The feeling of a conniving Sith behind those trees was stabbing me in the gut. I could feel the bravery of myself wane just slightly. Almost as though I wanted to fear going up against this woman. As though I wanted to be fearful, and be confused about why they were here.

No. I couldn't let that happen. I had to protect myself from the force. I had to fight for those I cared for. I had to defend these people.

Even if it cost my life.

Raising my left hand to look at it through my visor. I could feel the wedding band on my ring finger. The one I cherished, and had made for myself in remembrance of my wife. My struggles with her, and our victories over the years. I had fought for many things. To find my identity. To discover my calling. For honor, for friends, and for my love. Closing my eyes, I gathered the strength to fight back. I should not be fearful, but cautious. I do not fear death. I do not fear losing those I care for. I fear not.

Calling out to the wind, calling out to the force hidden within the treeline.

"Come and face me, o' bringer of fate. For I stand against you in every way."

She looked to the padawans joining. She heard ones transmission. “This is Knight Catherine Soja gates still stand nobody got through yet. You may land near by form up with me and Padawans Dubykee and Icehammer. United we have a stronger front.” She looked to the eager padawans. “Stay in the area if possible and be mindful of your foes. The Sith are no easy enemies and they will try to use whatever leverage they have. Remember your training it can save you.” She continued to give orders to the local troops setting up kill zones of fire for when sith troops arrived, they would find no easy entrance here. She then gave her report to the Grand masters over Comms. “Grand masters Heavenshield this is Knight Soja I have several Padawans with me I am going to try and keep them close to me I’ll do my best to look after them. Silas kept his eyes closed with Onley cuffed him across the head.

A not-so-gentle gesture between brothers, but he could take that from Onley. Probably the only person in the Galaxy who could do that without a Kaggath being declared on the spot. That was just the way of things though, when you went through the same things they had for so many years.

"I will once that battle is around us." He retorted, before raising himself from his seat and following the rest of the gang into the cargo bay and towards the ramp.

Imperia went first, followed eagerly by Onley who could probably smell the blood already, next was Vale.

The wind harassed the leather bindings of his armor, as he stood there on the ramp and looked over the camp. Already the bodies were piling up. More would follow suit, he knew this for a fact. Whilst the others used lightsabers, Silas preferred something with more... weight in his hand.

The axe flew out of his hands before he knew it, attaching itself with a sickening crunch in a running warrior-lady's face, who had been just about to assault Aria.

Always keep your mind on the battlefield, he would have said, but there was no time as the Ysanna jumped out with his dagger at ready. He fell on top of the dead lady, pulling out the axe - blood marred the scene - and the young lad was off again.

Cutting, ripping and tearing, the battlefield became a haze as his body went through the motions.

Finding himself within the embrace of his beloved, their lips met for an all-too brief yet powerful kiss before sending him off to battle. "I will find you once this is over," he told her with a soft smile before his face became like steel when turning to face the invading forces terrorizing the inner city and targetting those unable to defend themselves. All Valkyri are taught to fight and die for their home and hearth, but these were either children too young to take arms against such a ruthless foe, or the elderly too weak to fight. Thurion, rather than move though the crowded streets where Valkyri and Sith slaughtered one another, leapt from rooftop to rooftop, staying above most of the fighting until he found himself in the very centre of it.

The city square was in complete disarray, yet it was no difficult task telling friend from foe. As Thurion leapt into the fray, his armoured fist was charged with telekinetic power before smashing into the ground, creating a massive shockwave sending Sith violently flying in all directions with devastating force, making them easy pickings for the Valkyri to finish off. Thurion drew his sword, Snowfall, from its sheath and the battle was joined, cutting down Sith left and right. Their lightsabers were no match for his blade, forged entirely in phrik to withstand any blow and weather any passage of time. The Valkyri warriors in his presence rallied to him, issuing loud cries of war.

While normally his personal Code of Honour prevented him from killing, there was nothing holding him back when his ancestral home was in peril and beset by the Sith. These were men and women with no remorse for their actions, indoctrinated to leave naught but pain, misery and death in their wake. He had no qualms about ending their lives, and the galaxy would be better off for it.

In the skies above a thunderstorm had rolled in, only adding to the Valkyri battle frenzy. To them this was proof that the Gods had joined the fight, with the High God Odiir sounding their charge into battle. Lightning struck, and the armies of Midvinter cheered. The winds picked up, carrying with them the words of their gods and imbuing them with increased vigour and morale. Thurion couldn't help but get swept away by it all, pushing aside the Jedi in him in favour of his Valkyri ancestry, and so he too fought with increased ferocity.

As she drew closer to her allies, Jorryn could finally get a proper view of them. The man was a fair bit taller than herself, having the look of a soldier more so than that of a Sith. Even the way he talked ringed more commander than Lord. Still, he did radiate with the power of a Sith at the very least and looks can often be deceiving. Her eyes then turned to the girl, who came up to just about Jorryn's height. She was a fairly small girl, or even tall depending on her rather ambiguous age, obviously still feeling the cold intensely through her robes. A small feeling of disgust crept up Jorryn's spine though when she met the girl's eyes. Unlike Jorryn's, and presumably the masked man, the girl still had a strong lack of the dark side showing itself through her eyes. Instead the girl still had much of her original blue eyes, telling at least Jorryn that she still hadn't fully committed to the dark side. Then again, those that clung on to the light side tended to be the ones that fell furthest into the darkness.

As introductions began, a violent noise came from the West as the loud sound of metal bending and scraping against ice could be heard a ways off. A small cloud of snow could be seen thrown up in the distance, presumably some cocky Sith or Jedi managed to get themselves taken down by the enemy. Thankfully Vitor's helmet gave more information than her random guess. Apparently some non-Sith had managed to crash in to the planet before they were even able to engage the Sith forces.

"And I thought all Jedi were supposed to be ace pilots." A small humoured smile growing on Jorryn's face as she said the line. "My name is Jorryn, hopefully the poor fool didn't die before we get to him." A captive Jedi was always a nice way to start a battle, their is no more fun in the galaxy than toying with one mentally and a captive is always useful.

Jorryn stood there as the girl went to go fetch the speeder that laid in the compartment of the ship, a dim red glow that was hopefully mistaken as the effects of the cold grew on her face as Jorryn realized that she hadn't bothered to bring along a speeder. Though she reassured herself with the thought that she could barely drive one anyways, so at least she could save herself the embarrassment of that fact. Still, in hindsight she probably should have dropped off some supplies along with herself, and a compartment for a compact speeder was admittedly a good idea.

"Agreed, let's get going." She said as she lowered herself onto the back of Vitor's speeder and began folding both her legs over the left side of the vehicle, not bothering to ask the man driving it for permission.

Willa was looking at more of it, setting up the areas where they would be able to continue working and fortifying the defenses. She had moved to join [member="Honoko"] and [member="Claire Ouron"] who were setting up and helping shore defenses along the inner walls when the millipede came firing off shots. THe massive walkers were moving and protecting them until she looked securing the sniper rifle when she was drawing her saber with the sonic pistol built in, her one smg there before directing the others to defend and move all around. A snipe shot rang out as the advanced team she had were getting the quick fixes in to protect from what they could. The heavy armored transport sitting there with their shields on and along the gates, turrets on the walls while the stuttering of the shield came. Bringing to them another carrier that would protect but she was seeing her ranger's as they moved through the area and streets. Advanced armor, weapons and the strength of the beorni and valkyri as the other defenses were making for them what they needed. She didn't need to risk some parts of it firing off a shot as she deflected a shot back and her mind reached outwards. Focusing the force energies into her mind as she was working with battlemind. Something to let her move around and have focus with the lightsaber.

"Commander what do you want us to do with the people who have been detained?" She was thinking about it, staying around there until her ideas about what they could do were coming out. She had prepared for more of it, sticking around with her saber deflecting a shot before firing off a bolt into the face of a black blade as it went off sending him into a wall. A large bear slashing and smashing another through the wall as a massive valkyrie sent them up into the air itself. Willa could see some of the others before she spun around using the cloak to obscure as she was letting shots out into the chest of another. They were clearing the way towards [member="Coci Heavenshield"] and [member="Sorel Crieff"] mostly to let the jedi work and protect them all around here. Her saber was prepared and ready as she reloaded using the sonic blaster portion of it to the face of another soldier that was coming at her. The white noise of battle all around and her battlemind prepared so that they would have a focused and ready ranger with them. Her focus and that fire in her eyes making the slugs as they came out cherry red before it smacked into another soldiers chest leaving a burnt hole that was small and precise. Her voice coming out. "Anyone detained or captured make sure they are not able to get out and continue to prevent anything getting through."

Spaceship weaponry fire blazed just beyond them. Whether it was capital-class weapons aiming for large vessels, or fighter-based weaponry proving useful in a dogfight, it was near-blinding for the MX-2, skipping and dodging it best it can with a pilot that was no where near an expert. The two inside were shook, Alexis unnerved to the point of yelling. Weapon fire grazed the ship, but it wasn't fighter-based weaponry. Capital-class Turbolasers scraped alongside the MX-2, cutting passed its shield and searing the hull, the ship getting out of its path just before it broke through. An alert went off, telling Vixley the Air Support had lost power. "Alexis, internal systems reading defaulted." He said as he attempted manual systems changing, "I'm trying what to do here, but I'll need you to manually reroute power at the problem destination. Power to Life Support has been lost."

"What?" Alexis asked as she was still clinging onto the passengers seat for dear life. "I don't know engineering! What am I supposed to do?"

"I don't expect you to," Vixley continued as he shutdown power to the Medbay and Hyperdrive completely, trying to push the shields for their safety. "That shot wasn't meant for us, it seems no one is chasing us down, so we're clear, for the most part. But, Alexis, listen. This ship is old, but it's not ready for the graveyard, yet. The ship has control panels in different sections for whatever is needed, you just need access. I can't give you an access code right now, but I'll connect with the mainframe and deactivate the security for you. You just need to read the buttons and press one." Vixley didn't tell Alexis, but he had lost control of other items. One, namely, he couldn't re-power the cannon, their only defense. And.... they were leaking fuel. "Hurry up, or you won't be breathing when we breach the atmosphere, you'll need the control panel in the utility closet in the Medbay," a cruel joke, Vixley finished, trying to keep control of the ship as much as possible.

As Alexis unsecured herself from the seat, Vixley boosted the Inertial Dampeners a little to help her out. The ship was huge, this shouldn't be a problem, right? Well, it's a heavily modified ship, and it isn't the perfect condition. It was expanded probably three times its original model. Not everything was perfect.

"We're breaching the atmosphere, Alexis, how's the Life Support coming?" Vixley sounded over the ships intercomm.

"I've got it, I'm rerouting... now."

And like that, the alarm shut off and Vixley started pulling back on the throttle. As they pushed through the atmosphere they could see the fighting, the explosions, the bloodshed. "We don't have Medical comms, but I'm going to land near that gate. It seems there are Sith engaging pre-technological individuals."

Alexis finally reached her seat again, but Vixley was done piloting. He initiated the partial autopilot to keep it from crashing, and hopefully out of projected flight paths of other ships or fighters. "Don't strap in," Vixley got Alexis' attention as he stood up and turned. "What, where are you going, aren't we landing?" Vixley shook his head, "This ship doesn't land unless it's a last resort, I'm taking the Maw. Whatever you do, don't fly over those walls. I'll establish communication on the ground, but right now, we don't have any comms. If we fly over those walls, we're as good as enemies in their eyes. I'll radio back when I've got something. Stay out of line of fire, and comply with any orders you're given. Have the Droids drop care packages. Good luck."

As Alexis got adjusted in the seat, she did her best to assist what the auto pilot couldn't do. Vixley made his way down to the cargo bay quickly and got inside the Maw. "Opening Cargo Bay doors." As the MX-2 got close to the ground, Vixley hit the gas and the Maw roared out, flying to the ground. Just before it touched down, Vixley activated the thrusters and angled out of the way of some soldiers on the ground. Flipping a switch, her turned on an ambulance siren and drove to the Frontlines.

"This is Vixley CM-01, I am a Neutral Combat Medic. I only fire in defense of an injured soldier, or in self defense. Others come first."

He spoke over an intercomm broadcast and a civilian-level transmission. "I am heading for the Main Gate, I need Medical Comms, please!" Perhaps thinking he was an enemy, a soldier fired a rocket launcher at the Maw and it threw it to the side a little as the armor absorbed it, or tried. It left a scorch mark on the side. Before reaching the Main Gate, about seventy (70) meters away, Vixley found a quiet spot with some downed soldiers. He pulled over as it dug into the snow and skidded a bit, activating the IODR Beacon, reading off as Medical, like the ship. "Droids, let's move!" He said as he pulled himself from the drivers seat, heading to the back and hopping out. Vixley started giving verbal orders to the Gurney Droids and Medevac Droids. The Droids went over to some Sith Soldiers and Vixley rushed over to a Midvinter Militia man.

Slice, burn, kill. It was a bloody, brutal dance that Imperia performed, but she managed to look good doing it nonetheless. In the time it took her companions to land, she'd carved a respectable little circle of destruction around her landing point. Blood and charred flesh decorated the otherwise bland and snowy forest floor, adding a bit of life (er, death) to the campsite.

A pretty young woman fell to her knees, skull marred and split by a flick of Imperia's crimson blade. The man who stood next to her - probably a lover or brother, not that it mattered to the Knight - let out a scream of rage, then one of pain as he, too, fell to the return stroke of the blade. It was a flowing, fluid style of swordplay, one that looked almost like, yes, a dance. A little bit of Makashi for elegance, a pinch of Ataru for mobility, a healthy heaping of Djem So for power, and just a smidgen of Juyo, to get her into the right state of mind to fight.

Five, six, seven.

Aria landed upon the scene, absolutely seething with Darkness.

Eight.

And went to work.

Imperia lost count. Imperia stopped fighting for a short moment, entranced by her friend's own bloody dance, and the alluring Darkness that tainted her presence in the Force. When Imperia did rejoin the fight, she found herself alongisde Aria, pairing the latter's skill at melee with her own adeptness in the Force. Crimson lightning danced side by side with crimson blades, retreating enemies found themselves flung back into the fight, and those that tried their hand at sneaking up on the pair in the middle of the chaos found themselves unable to breathe. Paired with her companion, the Knight hardly used her lightsaber at all.

It was Aria's first time, after all. Imperia could bear to let the girl have all the fun.

EAST OF THAINBROEK
MIDVINTER

Lyra and Jorryn. He hoped he remembered their names. Vitor was not the best at remembering names. Both had a different aura in the Force, or at least that's what he saw as a projection from the two women. The young businessman could not be sure if to trust that analysis due to his skills with the Force still being far from any average level and beyond his control, more or less.

The former came back with a speeder as soon as Vitor had reported to them the crash landing of a ship not far away from here. Thoughtful. On the other hand, Jorryn demonstrated a blunt sense of humor as she jumped into Vitor's own speeder without asking at all to which Avendahl put his hands on his hips as a reaction.

That was good enough for Avendahl. One was resourceful, the other was direct to the point. Hopefully, it was enough for them to survive what was to come.

The engines of the two speeders roared as they neared the crash landed ship. Not far from it, the eastern gatehouse of Thainbroek stood. It was through there that the trio of Sith were supposed to infiltrate and wreck havoc. Was it going to be easy ? Unlikely. Yet, they did have the advantage of being a small team and a whole army to distract the enemy at the main gate.

Before Vitor could discuss an action plan, he saw a figure in the distance. A minute away from the two speeders.

:: Is that a polar bear that I am seeing ? :: He muttered through the comm channels. With a hammer? :: With a hammer? :: Vitor shifted his head to Jorryn and then to Lyra. The question lingered in the air - do we engage ? Or do we directly head to the eastern gatehouse ahead ?

Almost as soon as she arrived Claire was greeted by a girl just a little older then her who had a massive droid army behind her. A impressive sight to be sure. "I've never done it before but if that's what you need I can do it." Claire said to her. "Where do you need it?"

Honoko smiled. " Grab a mortar cannon and about 20 meters of Fibercord. we are setting up Trenches." it was an old but seldom used tactic.
the mortar would explode causing huge shockwaves ripping up the dirt. the fiber cord was treated with a plastic explosive chemical.
" This will hinger any welled vehicals or walkers. pluss hinder any foot soldiers."

Soft thuds echoed through Calder's head as he ran, each with a satisfying crunch of snow beneath his foot. If not for the urgency of the Sith invasion, he would savor this. But as he ran, something else came to his mind. An echo through the Force. Immediately he stopped his run, turning his massive head just in time to see the speeders coming his way. Darkness. A feeling he could only remember from his first interaction with a Sith.

Unlike the first time however, it was darker. Someone without honor. Well, perhaps three. He could already make out the shapes of the three riders. How long would it take for them to reach him? And did they have blasters attached? He wasn't sure. What he was sure on was that he needed to keep running. So he turned back towards the city and took off in a run, both hands gripping the Icehammer.

His plan was simple. Should one of the speeders get to close, he would slam his hammer down on the metal object and send their riders flying forward. It wouldn't be difficult, if they ignored him as a threat and got to close at least. Despite their speed, it was no different than fishing. All it took was the right pull at the right moment, and the Force would guide his hammer down.

But the odds of him being ignored and these Sith getting to close were rather slim.

Her hand rested on the cool smooth surface of the material that built the wall. Looking over at the advancing forces, she suddenly felt a surge shoot through her body, the back of her neck grew cool and her eyes shot open. She quickly turned her body and saw a shadow upon her. Her eyebrow quirked up, and in one movement she grabbed her weapon and the cerulean blade sprouted to life to shield her body from the initial attack. It being slightly at the last minute, it forced her to take a step back which turned into a couple seeing as the wind picked up and slightly unbalanced her. Stumbling backwards she felt the presence of another figure behind her and before standing back up right she pivoted in her stance and brought her saber up to parry the next attack aimed for her back.

Her eyes came to a squint, as these were adversaries she'd never faced before. However, she was not surprised in the slightest. There were things unknown to even her....

-----------------------------

She battled these shadows atop the wall. She waited back for one to charge her and his attack would be met with swift resistance as she parried each one. Her methods were fluid as her right hand held her hilt firm and her wrist twisted in and out of combat in succession. Her blade left a blue trail in its wake as her she twisted and bent her body to avoid whatever attacks she failed to the block. As there were two, when the second advanced she pushed back from live combat to break the chain and twisted her body to engage the other.

Fighting multiple opponents was something she was accustomed to. Naturally she could keep up with their movements without having to look at one and this was how she easily defended herself. The only issue was that they were confined to the space atop the wall.

"Where is your master?" She said bring her arm across her body swiftly to parry an attack aimed for her left side. Next she launched herself into the air and spun around to avoid an attack to her legs before landing and blocking an attack that came from above. Holding him there she threw out her free hand to telekinetically push the opponent backwards as she went to engage the next running up behind her.

Fluidly, she moved her body to stand upright and curved it at the hip so that his weapon missed her frame, her next attack was parried by his retaliating one. Feeling the other running up behind her, she disengaged and dashed towards the opposite side of the wall which overlooked the city. Reaching the edge she flipped over it and began running down it as much as she could before gravity took her. When the weight crashed down, she aided the rest of her fall by the force and landed in a crouched position.

Though then she noticed there was another two shadows approaching her. In her mind, "How did they get down here so quickly?"

She dashed towards them, parrying attacks and dodging blows through acrobatics. She bounced between them both before stopping and spinning her blade around in a maneuver similar to circle of shelter, however she pushed her blade forward to drive her opponents back.

She was really waiting on the Master to make himself known...going all out on the offensive wouldn't be ideal.

The Four Horsemen

The wind tore at his being, his cloak flapping wildly behind him like tattered wings as he thundered across the snow-laden pass on the back of his personal speeder. Other riders mirrored his flanks and guarded his rear, their faces obscured by protective gear that insulated their bodies from the frigid temperature of Midvinter. They had been riding hard for several minutes now, pressing their bikes faster and faster ever since they disembarked from their transports. There were many destinations on Midvinter that could warrant their attention, and they would get to them in time, but for now the Dark Lord fixated his gaze on the nearest settlements revealed onto him by the bioscan employed by his warship high above the planet's atmosphere.

He knew not its name, he did not care; and soon it would be wiped from all history by his hand. The village was nestled up against the mountains, and while it was not the fortified city that Tháinbroek was there would no doubt be some defensive fortifications erected against enemy incursion. He could see the walls of the village now as they neared, great palisade walls reinforced with stone redoubts and chevaux de frise littering the gradual slope leading to the village itself.

These Valkyri, if sources could be trusted, were a primitive people as best; having not even grasped the rudiments of modern technology. They instead relied on their brute strength and that of their protectors, the Silvers, to save them. Such reliance was pitiful, the Silver's days were waning and a renewed Age of the Sith was at hand.

Without hesitation he accelerated towards the village defenses to be met by a hail of arrows, thick as javelins, that rained all around him like missiles. The Force was with him and he weaved to and fro to dodge those projectiles that came closest to hitting his person, occasionally reaching out with the Force to batter away several arrows at a time from his path. He was reaching the first of the redoubts, and to his amusement he discovered that the Silvers had mounted blaster cannons on the embankments to be manned by capable warriors from elsewhere in the Sanctum. For the first time since making planetfall he was assaulted by blaster bolts from several different angles, his advance bringing him directly into the killzone.

He unsheathed his sword, Derriphan, and with small movements he deflected the worst of the barrage while letting others harmlessly impact his armor. He activated his bike's auto-pilot and with the Force he propelled himself high into the air, angling his blade downward in a two-handed grip to impale one of the Silver's soldiers straight into the stone floor of the redoubt. As he yanked the blade free the wispy essence of the soldier's soul dissipated from his corpse and was voraciously siphoned into the blade, the weapon humming with delight as its hunger was finally being satiated. He advanced several paces, and with several swipes of his blade he reaped a bountiful harvest from the hapless defenders.

More were coming now, they had finally begun to react to his incursion. By now the rest of his entourage has arrived on the scene and proceeded to make short work of the wooden barricades before chucking explosives into the redoubts that he had not yet encroached upon, their fiery deaths rupturing the ground to send stone and dirt hurtling outwards in all directions. From the Dark Lord's hand erupted vermilion lightning that scorched the land black and stripped flesh from bone as the bones calcified and the meat cooked inside the soldier's armor. By the time Carnifex had made it within thirty feet of the village walls had the true defenders of this settlement, the Valkyri, mustered themselves and charged out to face him in open combat.

They were hulking brutes, some of them even towering over the imposing Carnifex, but they did not wield the weapons of modern soldiers. In their hands they held axes, swords, maces, spears, and bows, weapons long since considered archaic by the rest of the galaxy. They came at the Sith Lord in an organized wave, men and women armed with rounded shields making up the first line with spears outstretched as they closed the distance between themselves and the enemy.

All Carnifex had to do was lift up his scepter and the enemy faltered beneath the skull's maddening gaze, and that hesitation was all he needed to shatter them. He thrust his scepter forward, the Force bellowing out to form a wedge right down the defender's central line, and with another flourish of his weapon he willed the condensed air to rupture with the force of a localized hurricane. The effect was disastrous, Valkyri closest to the epicenter were thrown like dolls into the air, their bodies contorting grotesquely as they flailed helplessly before crashing down onto the hard ground. Those furthest from the blast were stunned or even perhaps knocked off of their feet, but many had not been killed.

But their lines had been broken.

Carnifex advanced, his sabatons truding across the snow-covered ground to wade amidst the Valkyri, his soul-hungry blade flashing as he lobbed heads from shoulders and hacked apart limbs and torsos with each swing. He was assaulted by those who had recovered more quickly than others, and he could feel the impact of a dozen different killing blows slipping off of his phrik armor. He blocked blows with his staff, battering their strikes away long enough for him to wind up a swing with his scepter to crush ribcages and shatter skulls. His sword easily broke whatever weapon dared to defend against it, shards of iron and steel peppering the blood-slick ground like a thousand tombstones.

A continuous stream of blaster fire cleaved through the air, the Blackblades layering their arcs of fire to weave through the carnage that their Lord was inflicting upon the Valkyri. They even opened fire on him occasionally, for they had no fear of doing any harm to their Lord with the armor that he wore, and thus the Valkyri found no safe ground by pushing themselves close to the Dark Lord.

Eventually the gates were breached, timber blown aside and broken like twigs through the power that he wielded. Every building was put to the torch by the marauders, their foundations of stone broken and their edifices toppled. This funeral pyre would burn high and bright through the day, the inferno becoming so turbulent that it might have even been witnessed from the capital where the fight was still raging between the Sith and the Silver Jedi.

She looked to the padawans here. "Just get ready if you plan to fight if not get back further into the city try to help there. If things get to be too much for you run don't wait for me however." She worried about them and if she could draw enough attention to keep them safe. She was responsible for them now and they had to survive this even if it meant she fell in the process. To that end she made sure her saber was out and she was at the fore front. Hopefully the sith woudl be drawn more to a knight than the newer padawans.
