One thing about Dax's threads, he never skimps on the action and his character doesn't shy from confrontation. For those times when you want to pack a little extra something up your sleeve, there's this comlink. Like a TomTom on your wrist, it's a miniature datapad and comlink all in one. And the best part? Reading Dax's bio and catching up on his threads, what stood out was the Clone Wars era DC-15s blaster pistol. Sor-Jan carried that when he fast-forwarded in time from 19 BBY to 844 ABY, but the blaster didn't survive first contact with the awesome tech of the Levantine Sanctum (thanks in large part to [member="Jorus Merrill"] and [member="Coren Starchaser"]). The QQ-83N has everything you want in a trusty sidearm. All the stopping power of the DC-15s, with the added flexibility of a wide range of power selection options and stun bolts.
