Painful Past

Kurenai gave a small sigh of relief as her Refurbished black red Eta-2 Actis-class interceptor came in for it's touchdown at the Silver Jedi temple landing platforms. Thankfully her request fora short LOA had been approved by the higher ups in the Confederacy but their was always the chance she'd back called back early. Herself quite literately rushing the entire trip, still wearing her combat armor, complete with her standard equipment, bearing the CIS logo on the left shoulder to distinguish her from a regular mercenary.

Hopefully Wu would have a change of clothes, despite the Jedi master being much small then Kurenai she did have a similar build so they would probably fit. Her small dilemma of clothing was halted as the feeling of the ships landing gear touching the ground engulfed the cabin, the engine winning as it powered down, cockpit hissing as it opened up to let it's occupant out.

hopping to the floor the youthful women stretched her arms, giving a small glance around the area, everything seeming to be as normal, so far so good, though her eyes did land upon a strange ship. Moving closer she recognized the design, cocking her head to the side, "hmmm, havn't seem one of these for a loooong time, probably even older then me".

The Warfighter
A Corellian G-9 rigger class light freighter carefully docked the Silver Jedi Order's landing pad before the engines shut off. After a few brief moments, the ramp hissed as it lowered, and out stepped 8 fully armored and armed figures. Each figure had different colored patterns and attachments on the armor, and some of them even had different looking helmets. They were wearing ancient clone trooper armor.

The team had just returned from a mission they were assigned to by the Order's leaders; they were paid a decent sum as well to get the job done. The leader of the team, sporting pitch black armor with a blue visor, stopped at the bottom of the ramp and looked up the ramp as he waited for the rest of the troopers to exit the shuttle. Upon their exit, they proceeded to continue walking, though they did notice an Eta-2 Actis-class interceptor on a landing pad nearby, a ship they were all too familiar with. They also did see a woman standing adjacent to the interceptor as well, but they didn't give her much thought.

Kurenai had been rather lax when inspecting the ship but had tensed up upon seeing those that had existed the ship, her blue gaze falling upon the troop disembarking on the ramp. Though it did not stay blue for long, a flash of yellow, changing the irises to a light brown, clenched fists and a gaze that reeked with hate was directed at the squad. "Clones". Most likely carbon frozen ones from before the rise of the empire, not that is mattered, they were all the same in her eyes.

Ture it could have been anyone else, some one with rare clone wars era tech, such was not to uncommon around criminal heavy areas of cities, crime bosses using the outdated equipment to deck out their grunts, but this was not some lower city, more was their armor aged. It's looks were that of only a decade old at most, weapons and everything else but it was not just that, that patterns for each legion. More then that was the way each walked, rigid, solider like, she'd never forget that poise, not ever after 800 years, no not in 5000 years would she forget how a clone moved.

The more Kurenai thought about it the more she seethed with hatred, her right hand clutching the hilt of her side arm, the feeling to draw it and get revenge welling up inside.

Drez wanted to continue walking past the CIS affiliated female and avoid any interaction as they didn't want to be held up and waste too much time chatting. they were only back there for a quick meeting with the Silver Jedi Order's council, presumably for their next mission, if they were to receive another task. However, Flak, one of the clone troopers, noticed that the woman by the interceptor was glaring at them with clenched fists, One of them on the hilt of her weapon.

Flak immediately took a few quick steps up to the front of the group, up beside Drez. He tried to avoid any eye contact with the CIS affiliated female as he whispered. "Um, Drez. Don't look at her but that woman by that interceptor is giving us some glares."

Drez smiled at Flak's concern. "I'm aware of that, which is why we're going to keep walking." He whispered back.

"Even with her hand on her weapon?" Flak questioned, voicing his concern over the safety of the team, still whispering.

"Don't acknowledge it or you could provoke her. We don't want that happening." Drez calmly said, not too worried about the female. They were more than capable of defending themselves if she attacked.

Kurenai stood her ground, watching as the clones continue on their way, letting them round a corner before relaxing a little. Why were there clones here? That did not make sense, judging from their attire most if not all were from the latter days of the clones wars, and from what she knew almost all Fett clones that somehow survived to now either joined the First Order, Sith Empire or went bounty hunter... it just didn't add up. Less so since her daughter had not been talking about it, with her love of history and similar subjects the official presence of clone troopers among the Silver Jedi would have been a big deal.

*Sigh* "no mind, hopefully I don't run into them again, but I still wonder". Leaving her weapon holstered the Dark Jedi started to make her way through the temple, though first things first she'd need to meet with some of the Jedi Master to make her visit official. At the end of the day she was still a Dark Jedi and solider of a foreign power, one could not simply waltz into temple when ever they wanted.

The troopers continued on until the temple's entrance, but stopped before entering. Yes, they had completed the task the Jedi has wanted, but what if they were going to kill them, as a means of getting rid of proof. Some factions and organizations were notorious for killing off whoever carried out the assigned task.

"Are we sure about this? What if they want to dispose of us?" Lex asked.

"Relax, Lex. Nothing's going to happen." Izmar replied, trying to reassure the team of their safety.

"Besides, if anything happens, we'll fight our way outta here. I mean, we always do, right?" Drez shrugged and raised his eyebrows. It was true. It was what they were good at.

The troopers still stood at the temple's entrance though, as none of them budged after Lex's remark. Sure, Jedi don't seek revenge, but Order 66 wasn't something the Jedi would forget easily. Devising an escape plan would be the smartest thing to do before entering.

Thinking that the clone squad had moved further on Kurenai did not give much notice to those around her as she walked through the temple, mentally going through a few things in her mind, eyes looking down and hand on chin. This proved to be a problem as the woman soon felt the hard surface of plastoid armor against her body upon rounding a corner, herself taking a step back to see who she'd run into.

Glancing forward the dark visor of the back most clone came into light, herself staring at the helmet like an animal caught in the head lights of a speeder, for a brief moment the world seemed to slow down. That moment did not last long, once more Kurenai clenched her fist, gritting her teat and letting lose a wide right hook aimed for the clones head, the move almost instinctual in nature.

Wooley had been the trooper trekking the farthest back when the CIS affiliated female had bumped into him. He turned around to see who had bumped into him only to see the woman that he saw on the landing pad, though she didn't seem pleasant. He felt uneasy as he could see the woman glare at him before giving him a wide right hook straight to the head.

Wooley did his best to block the punch by lifting his left arm as much as he could, though it wasn't enough and the hand slid off his armor. Though the hook's power dropped off, his helmet still went flying off his head and he lost his balance. The troopers turned around when they heard Wooley's helmet land with a hard thud on the ground. When on the ground, Wooley retracted his legs before giving a front thrust kick with both of his legs, directed towards the female's stomach.

Kunreai did not stop one moment, not even when the mans helmet cat off, that familiar face just making her madder that those underneath were in fact clones. As the punch came her body once again moved on reactions, years of close quarters combat coming into play as she to ached her body a little to avoid the punch. Going on the offensive she attempted to grab the clones arm with her right hand while whipping around, her left elbow poised to strike into the unprotected face of the clone.

Still it was only the beginning on the fight, she still have 7 more clones to deal with once the first one was take out, though skilled in taking on many people at once a full squad was still troublesome.

The other troopers turned around to see what was going on behind them only to see Wooley engaging in a fist fight with the CIS affiliated female they had seen on the landing pad. They don't know what happened for this to start, but they couldn't let a foreign person gain the upper hand over one of their own. Izmar, the commando, immediately charged at her without second thought and tackled her to the ground; sort of the same way you see in those extreme sports. Hopefully, she wouldn't be able to get up because of how heavy he was with his armor, unless she was more powerful than they thought.

Wooley looked at Izmar with relief before he got up and looked at the woman with disgust before picking up his 212th marked helmet and put it back on. He still didn't know why she had attacked him, but he was more than willing to interrogate her; the easy way, or the hard way.

[member="Kurenai Yumi"]

Before she could follow through with the swing a powerful tackle came at her chest, the clone punching her out of the way from the other, landing to the ground. It was a strong attack but nothing Kurenai couldn't handle, herself following through with the momentum, curling her right leg up and placing it on the clones chest, performing a Leg throw on the assaulting clone, forcing him up and over.

With another quick role Kurenai was back up and ready to fight, not even fazed by the counter tackle she received, her eyes scanning for the next target. Her eyes landed upon blue colors clone, her immediate though being a 501st, the ones responsible for killing off the Jedi and people who she had fought against during the rebellion. As quickly as she had been tackled down Kurenai launched her own attack, throwing an elbow strike towards the man who so happened to be named Kano.

Izmar was pushed off the woman, and he was getting fed up with her, as was Wooley. The clones didn't know why she was even attacking them; they have never even seen her before prior to arriving at the temple. The woman targeted Kano, who in turn blocked the elbow strike with his arm and lowered his stance before giving all the power he could with his other arm, releasing a low punch towards her stomach.

Flak, Ghost, Lex, and Ridge rushed over and joined Kano, Izmar, and Wooley in the fight, surrounding her from all directions. Since she had attacked 3 troopers already, they felt that they might be attacked as well, so they decided to put an end to the threat. Surely, they could overwhelm her with numbers. The 7 Fett clones started to give all they got in their melee attacks. They had no intentions of killing her; they just wanted her to seize hostility, and they'd keep on throwing punches and kicks at her until she finally surrenders.

Meanwhile, Drez stood a few meters away from the fight, and watched it as if it was some fighting match one would see in rings. Though he did not want to engage the hostile woman, if he was forced to do so, then so be it. But for now, he would just watch the fight unfold.

Kurenai blocked the punches and kicks that came towards her, ducking and dodging out of the way though even she was not invulnerable. Several strikes and attacks left their mark... but did nothing to really stop the woman, she knew pain, this was nothing, she had faced much stronger opponents and had come close to death many times. As another fist came toward her she leaned forwards sharply, headbutting the clones fist, another hit to he back forcing her to roll forwards, herself then springing up and crash tackling another clones.

The two tumbled for a bit until she pushed away, putting distance between her and the clones, blood trailing from a bruised and and split lip, though if the troopers watch carefully they would notice said wounds very slowly healing up. "Hmmm, it seemed even after 800 years you still have not lost you touch clones". Their strikes were consistent one after another, not allowing her to doge or get in a large wide attack to take out more then one person, "but now that I know you mean business, I don't have to hold back". Pushing her arms forward the women send a force blast towards the squad.

"If we wanted to kill you, you'd already be dead by now." Kano gritted through his teeth, answering to her remark of not losing their touch, even after 800 years. He decided to play a mental game on her. "Our kind executed hundreds of Jedi on Coruscant 800 years ago. Who said we won't do it again here?" Kano said, referring to the 501st's march on the Jedi Temple during the eve of the Clone Wars. Of course, he wasn't proud that his legion marched on the temple and executed Order 66. However, he did not obey the order himself. He was just trying to play games with this hostile woman's mind.

The clone troopers were pushed back with the force blast that the woman had unleashed, which had got Drez's attention, though he wasn't going to get involved in the fight just yet. He was studying the woman's combat skills. "You know, anger is not the Jedi way. I mean, we are in a Jedi temple after all." Drez remarked as he walked around the clones with his arms crossed.

"We're not done for yet, boys!" Izmar urged as he immediately got back up on his feet. After recovering from the force blast, the clones got back up all rushed back at her simultaneously, from each direction. This time, they weren't going to be as merciful as they had been. Each one was going to go in even harder with their melee attacks. About 5 feet from the woman, 3 clones from different directions had jumped up in the air as they ran to give her one hell of a jump kick. The rest either attempted to tackle her or had swung their fists with all their power.

[member="Kurenai Yumi"]

The words from the clone just made her even more angry, even if such a statement was some sort of jest or jab, one would doubt that a small squad of clones could take over a militaristic Jedi order, but that didn't matter. They were clones, and from what they said such had participated in order 66... who was to say some of them had not participated in other Jedi hunts or order 37. "I'm going to beat you all to the brink of death, then I'll drain your blood, though I have a feeling you taste repulsive".

Taking a step forward she drew her saber, the blood orange blade coming from the tip, the hilt extending to form a short spear like weapon, "I am no Jedi... that was something taken away from me long ago, by clones just like YOU"!! As the clones got close she let off another force blast in all direction, the blast accompanied by lightning, the purple tendrils working there way all along the hall, lights popping and doors opening from being fried.

As the force radiated out she moved towards [member="Drez"], holding the saber above her head, ready to strike, but before that she was suddenly tackled by something, a Jedi, one wearing black Yukata bearing a very close resemblance to Kurenai herself. The two tumbled for a bit before coming to a stop, the Jedi holding the woman down for a few seconds, yelling at her in Astrian before slapping her in the face.

All of the clone troopers who had attempted to melee attack the hostile woman were immediately pushed back by the blast while being electrocuted in the process. Drez didn't know if they were still conscious or not, but now it was his turn to step up. He wasn't agitated or anything, but he was rather calm. He slowly walked around the [member="Kurenai Yumi"], flapping his hands in an attempt to taunt her and make her even more angry. "Bravo, bravo. I must say you've been a bad girl today, now I guess it's my turn to make things right." Drez taunted.

Drez observed as the woman lifted her saber above her head, about to strike. He smirked from behind his visor, facial expression concealed. He wasn't worried about the woman as his armor was resistant to lightsaber strikes; only one in his team actually. He just stood there, with his arms crossed, as [member="Kurenai Yumi"] was about to attack. He didn't flinch, nor did he move a muscle, as he secretly activated the wrist blaster on his left wrist and concealed a vibroblade in his right hand.

However, fortunately for him, someone had tackled the hostile woman down, and began arguing with her in a language he couldn't comprehend. He shrugged it off and proceeded to go check on the clone troopers. "Who are you?" Drez asked the tackler with his back.

Losing is tempoary, giving up is permanent.
Upon hearing the voice of what she recognized to be a clone trooper Sukai turned around, seeing the black cladded solider as he questioned her identity. Clearing her throat Sukai then gave a deep bow, "I am very very very sorry for any harm my mother has cause to you, such is a problem with her PTSD and past experiences with clone troopers". "As for who I am, my name is Sukai'ito Yumi, I am a senior Jedi knight in the Silver Order, was I aware that you would be present today I would have waited at the landing pad to avoid such a confrontation". She was not unsure if her words would do anything but at the same time there was not a whole lot she could offer to make things right. On one hand what her mother did was wrong but at the same time she could not blame her due to the past she lived.

"Though may I ask who you are? by your voice and armor all of you are most likely clone troopers right? How does a commando, phase one and several phase 3's from different legions wind up together 800 years from their actual conflict"? She had met the odd clone trooper from the past here and their, but most if not always they were alone, some freak accident involving carbon freezing of personal choice.

Drez snickered at the Jedi Knight. "I'm not a clone myself; the others are though. Plus, don't apologize to me, apologize to the others. She attacked them, I was just going to stun her with a blaster." He said, as he held up a pistol. He turned back around and gave the Jedi his back as he walked around and checked on each individual clone trooper.

"As on how we became a group, it's a very, very long story. I'm sure your mother won't want to hear it anyways. I'm sorry she has PTSD for whatever reason, but that's not a good reason to attack us for no reason." Drez continued speaking as he crouched down over the clone trooper with the dark red markings, took off the clone's helmet, and splashed water all over his face, immediately waking him up.

Ridge jerked up, before groaning. "Ughhhh, what happened?" He asked.

Drez ignored him and continued speaking to the Jedi Knight. "You see, I don't have any vengeance towards your mother, and you wanna know why? It's because none of them were killed, nor badly injured. Just a couple of knocks. I've met a lot of 'mentally unstable' people in my lifetime, so I somewhat know how to deal with their crap." Drez concluded, referring to the clone troopers in his statement about vengeance. Drez never sought revenge if no personal harm was done. However, if one of the clones troopers were killed or had a bad injury, that would be another story. Maybe his blaster wouldn't have been set on stun.

Losing is tempoary, giving up is permanent.
Well she had not seen the full fight only the last few seconds, she had not been aware of the full extent of damage her mother had done. “You are lucky I did come though, a stun shot would have done little to slow her down, I would have personally set it to kill and shot her in the face if role were reversed”. Even then it did not garentee victory, epsicslly if a Kurenai had her saber drawn at the same time.

“Hmm perhaps but I would be more then willing to listen and probably pass it on, the past and almost forgotten history has always been a fascination of mine”. The galaxy wide plague during 400 ABY resulting in much information about the past being lost to time, the records somewhere in space waiting to be found. Following the man she observed the knocked around troopers, able to feel their life force, from what she gleaned all were fine besides a small concussion.

“Perhaps another lucky break due to you being in a large group, I don’t think your squad mates would have been so lucky if one was caugher on there own... ah sorry excuse me for a second”, she replied walking back over to her mother. As of now Kurenai just sat to the side in a Seiza pose eyes closed but body still tensed. “Just calm down mother, do not worry Tana and Kiso should be here soon, they will take you to the room, that okay with you”? All she got was a small nod but at the moment that was the best response to get.

"Well personally, I didn't want to kill her. What good would that do to me? If I kill someone in this temple, I might have the whole freaking Jedi Order after me after all." Drez shrugged at the woman's suggestion on going for the kill. "Though I must admit, the clones are lucky she didn't cut through them like paper with that saber of hers."

The past had been forgotten? Drez didn't know that. In fact, it confused and bothered him that some of the most important events in the galaxy's history are forgotten, namely the Clone Wars. To him, the Clone Wars would probably be the most fascinating aspect of the galaxy's history. The finest clone army the galaxy had ever seen fighting a war against an infinite amount of programmed droids, plus the plot twist at the end of the war, is truly fascinating. Sure, his opinion might've been biased a bit, but nobody can disagree how unique the Clone Wars was.

"So you mean to tell us that history is forgotten?" Drez asked. "Surely the Clone Wars can't be forgotten, can it?"
