Not to get too off topic, but diplomacy threads are welcome and encouraged. Tmoxin is currently making contact with Commoner Systems Alliance to establish an outpost on Cato Neimoadia and open trade with that faction.

If anyone wants to take initiative to strike up deals with neutral factions for trade, commerce and open space lanes, feel free. Alliances with the larger faction obviously require more discussion, but at least if we RP with Commoners we shouldn't be attacked.

I vote option one, mainly because I don't want to ally with the Galactic Alliance. And tbf, Scarif was always a more Imperial world. Asking 'em for it was a bit of a stretch.

Personally don't see why we should ally with them. If anything they are a bigger threat than the GA and jedi and joining their war would be a waste of resources and due to our lesser state weaken us in character making it easier for them to strike us down.
I say ignore their offer as it is not worth the trouble

I think we can see we're leaning towards number 2, I especially feel like if we get involved with the SE and FO we'll be seen as a "puppet" faction. We don't exactly have the best reputation around, and I think we should focus on turning that around before we declare a side.

Obviously I'm new and still a bit behind on the times. So my opinion is to be taken with a grain of pepper. (why pepper? So I can make you sneeze all day)

Relatively new major faction. So jumping into an alliance with factions that many of us (yes I'm saying us) have ic issues with doesn't make a lot of sense. Also, doing so makes us the fifth wheel so to speak. We become less of an individual and more of the faceless masses.

From what I have seen and read most either distrust the GE or the FO and perhaps none care for the SE. So why join this alliance? Especially when doing so will derail from the uniqueness of this alliance.

I also like the idea of doing peace treaty threads with individual factions like the GA and SJO.

Lastly, why weaken ourselves knowing inevitably we will be drawn into conflict. Right now we are not in a position of power. Let us build up and watch how the war goes and see just who needs us worse, what we can get from them, and does the treaty make sense ic.
