Sy simply smiled as she listened and watched the other woman, there was no point pushing any further she was already conflicted enough and that was obvious enough. Her proposition might work actually, Sy would be on planet for a while.. So having someone there from time to time to help with the more difficult bounties could certainly help. Moving from her more casual position Sy leaned on the table and interlocked her hands together, looking down at them she was clearly thinking over the details of such a proposition to the point she jumped when the pie was set in front of them.

Snapping from her trance she looked over to the woman who everyone in the diner seemed to be thanking, so naturally she did the same and raised a hand over in a loose acknowledgement and thanks for the food. Her mind seemed to move from their new proposition to interest towards the richer woman. ‘’Now that one is interesting..’’ She said in a low voice before looking back towards Tegan. ‘’Not often you see someone flashing cash like that then buying everyone pie.‘’ She reached over to pick up her at from the seat next to herself.

Putting the hat back on slowly, she made sure to adjust it so that Tegan could easily see her face still. ‘’Anyway. That could work. Ill save the more difficult contracts for when we’re together then. We’ll keep it all at a 50/50 split for whatever contracts we complete together right?’’ She offered a more professional smile and held her hand out. ‘’Ill draw up an agreement later, if you’re in.’’ With a smirk she glanced back towards the strange rich woman, her interest clearly peaked though she didn’t comment or act further upon it than she already has.

She had to admit that the food and dessert had been most excellent... surprising sure and the reactions from thepeople around were well welcome. It was kind of nice to see compared to back home when she finished and sipped on her drink. She finished it up and bowed her head towards the ones thanking them again and walked towards the door clasping her hands in front of herself and standing with a posture belaying her more simple garb. Eyes downcast she approached the table as she had heard some interesting things. "I am sorry to interrupt your conversation but if you are a bounty hunter, there is a job that could use your flair. My ship the Kōgō Heika is in the port if you want more information." She didn't sit, she didn't leave much beyond one of the pucks with her comlink and information to contact the ship. A job was a job and well capable people were always worth finding.

Anything and everything that Tegan could have said to Sy in response was cut off and died in her throat entirely when the clearly wealthy woman approached their table. Both of Tee's brows lofted, and her attention remained on the standing woman even when she spoke her peace and then set a puck onto the table. Only once she was sure that the pair of them weren't about to be shanked in the neck did the blonde soldier's attention drift to the woman seated across from her, and then her head tipped ever so slightly to one side.

"Well, I imagine that's something akin to opportunity knocking, hm?" she questioned, smirking ever so slightly as she lift her cup back to her lips to sip a drink before setting it back down again. "I suppose that if I'm going to test these waters and see what I'm good and bad at, this is an opportunity to do so?" She was asking yes, because Tegan had no idea how these bounty things worked thus far.

"Your call, boss." she added to Sy, that smirk right back in place on her lips.

Hearing footsteps approaching their table Sy turned her head ever so slightly to see the rich woman walking their way from the corner of her eye. This would most certainly be interesting. What she wasn’t expecting was the woman to offer a job, she eyed the puck that was left in front of her and made a mental note of the ship name. The details were scarce so far so she didn’t really comment besides lightly tipping her hat as the woman left.

Sy swiftly pocketed the puck and deposited it on an inner coat pocket, allowing Tegan to catch a flash at the various grenades secured, four on the one side around a pocket. She quickly closed the coat back over and pulled over the pie as Tegan was speaking, just nodding slowly. This certainly would be an interesting experience, if there was any trouble involved of course. She didn’t really expect much trouble, it was most likely some spy work. The woman was rich, so probably had some cheating husband or some political intrigue going on. An easy job to start off Tegan, at least at a guess.

Nodding slowly, she swallowed her mouthful of the rather tasty pie before speaking in a soft voice. ‘’Im not your boss… Though it does sound good.’’ Sy couldn’t help but grin, though she wasn’t the bossy or leading kinda gal. ‘’I doubt it’s a very dangerous job but sure we can see. We’ll go tomorrow morning. Leave them to stew for abit, make it seem like we’re busy people.’’ With a smirk and a wink she took her time finishing her pie, speaking between the second mouthful or so. ‘’Ill send a message their way tonight, let them know we’re coming. Soooo.. Until then. What do you do for fun around here?’’ With a devious grin she leaned forward on the table, with an intense look towards Tegan. It was always good to have some fun in a new town, besides it wasn’t like she was going to end up staying for a prolonged time.

Returning to the ship was easy enough, no one bothered with some of the lesser people as the saw it and she approached the Yovshin in their gleaming gold armor with a nod as they spoke. "Princess.... it is hard to protect you if you run away." Junko just offered a smile to them though and walked by... "oh but that is half the fun and besides... I know full well how to defend myself. The empress only sent you to protect me and my brother because of the other children who have been killed... but her fears are misplaced." She said it with a grin and entering the ship walked the marbled hallways while her crew moved around. A smile on her face sitting in the command chair as it brought up the hologram displays to review what information she had.

There was a roll of the eyes from Tegan, "Rest assured, I wasn't actually referring to you as my boss." she stated. "It was more of a playful curtesy than anything else."

There were only a few bites of pie taken from Tegan's plate, and then she was done with it. She had already been full from her meal, but she also knew that the pie here was good. So she had to at least have a few bites to satisfy that sweet tooth of hers. But once her stomach ached in protest, she was done and pushed the plate away. "Do you think we should really wait until tomorrow?" she finally looked up and questioned. "I mean sure, leaving a contractor to sweat a little is all well and good, but she had the gall to approach us and put a job offer right out there to us."

Tee leaned back in her seat a little and laid one of her hands against her belly. She eyed that open coat for a moment, very aware of just how armed the woman across from her was, but she made no comment on the matter. "Besides, I have no idea what there is to do around here. I'm only here for the diner every now and again." she remind with that very small smirk once again.

Sy just kept eating at her pie whilst the pair talked, she was getting pretty full but the pie was damned good and she wasn’t about to turn down a free pie anytime soon. Gesturing to a waitress to fill up her coffee she then looked back towards Tegan. ‘’Well shit.’’ With a heavy sigh she left only the crust remaining on the pie as she slid it away from herself and leaned back into the booth once more, biting her lip in thought. They would have to kill some time at least, she didn’t want them to seem overly desperate for work. Not that she was of course, she was relatively well off she just didn’t quite have the funds to get her own ship yet, though she was getting there.

Her eyes focused once more on Tegan, she seemed pretty eager for work so perhaps it wouldn’t be a bad idea to throw her in the deep end. First she would need her own gear of course, preferably some sort of armor, definitely a blaster, and cuffs wouldn’t hurt either. Nodding to herself as she had a plan in mind, she offered a brief smile. ‘’Okay heres the plan. First. Ill finish my coffee, then I’ll pay for our shit. Second, we leave and go find you some equipment. So you’ll need to tell me what weaponry you prefer.’’

With her smile softening again she thanked the waitress who approached and refilled her coffee, the woman looked to Tegan as if to ask if she wanted a refill too. Sy kept talking though even with the waitress present. ‘’If you’re inclined towards wearing armor we can buy you some of that too, though I prefer to travel light personally.. No grenades for you quite yet. Cuffs are a certainty, but I have some spare that you can have for now. After all that, hopefully that kills an hour or two. We can go check out the job.’’ With that she leaned back and took a sip of coffee, it was pretty bad but it was good to wash down the various foods she had consumed in the short time she was at the diner.

The time it would take for them to arrive meant Junko could spend it doing a few things of her own. after getting the information on small data packets she had moved to the sonic shower and changing into her kimono. The handmaidens worked on her hair and she reviewed the designs that were being worked on for her Atrisian rose dress. To let her take part in the Galavision competition for Atrisia. She was getting her hair brushed and styled so it came up on one side and her hair piece was able to hang off of the other side. The gemstones on tessels went over her right eye, the kimono form fitted to her as she stood up. THe red silk contrasting with the white marble walls and polished floors. Her shiroi make up casting her skin in a milky white sheen while she walked around with them going over parts of the ship.

There was a soft scoff from Tegan and she shot Sy a look across the table. "Alright so first? I'm a soldier, and I know how to handle explosives." she wanted to make that point clear. "No, I don't expect to be handed explosives, but just so we're clear I know how to use them." She didn't want to be treated like a rookie. No, she was not a mercenary or a bounty hunter, but she was a soldier, and therefore had more experience than most other recruits Zidol could find around here.

"As for weaponry," she shrugged a shoulder. "A good heavy duty blaster, long range, short range, it doesn't matter I can use both. Close combat? I prefer something blunt. Something that's going to leave an impression before it does the job." Maybe that was a little twisted, but Tee didn't really care how it sounded. She had come across plenty of bad people in her past who deserved it - or at least that's what she told herself, considering she couldn't actually remember. "With armor, I don't really think I'll need anything. Maybe something light if the situation calls for it."

Her shoulder shrugged and she then took the time to finish her coffee before she set the cup aside. She was done now, and all she had to do was simply wait for Sy to finish as well so that they could go and get this whole thing underway.

Sy nodded along with Tegan, clearly amused by her reactions about the explosives. She may be a soldier but Sy didn’t quite trust her just yet, at least not until she had seen her capabilities in combat. Sipping away at her coffee she let her friend finish speaking, not seeming overly put off by her something blunt talk. She had heard far worse than that, in her line of work anyway. She was sure they could find something they wanted.

It only took her afew minutes to finish her coffee before she stood up and adjusted her hat. Setting credits on the table for both her meal and anything that Tegan had consumed. Giving her friend a brief nod she gestures with her head to follow her outside, not talking until they get out. ‘’Well whatever you want you gotta carry. I cant take your shit with me until we get our ship.’’ She says in a very matter of fact voice, she wouldn’t expect Tegan to carry her gear so she certainly wouldn’t return the favour. Looking around briefly she gestures with her head once more to lead them through the streets. She seemed somewhat familiar with it as she led them through afew alleyways and such, she would walk fairly quickly and was constantly looking over her shoulder to make sure the pair weren't being tailed. As they walked she sent a simple message to their possible employer. ‘’We will be at your ship in an hour or two.’’ Before she tucked everything away and opened the door to a small warehouse looking place.

If Tegan went inside she would find a dim lit room with shelves upon shelves of stuff. Everything from clothes to blasters, armour to knickknacks. There was a mixture of crap, illegal items and some useful. It was obviously not a typical business, for one there wasn’t even any indication that the building was anything more than an abandoned warehouse. In the back there would be a small Rodian man, quite suspicious looking who reached under his table to grab something at seeing Tegan, however once Zidol walked in behind he seemed to relax somewhat.

Leaning over to her friend she spoke lowly. ‘’Pick whatever takes your fancy, I’ll cover the costs. The blasters here aren’t amazing but they’ll do you for now. And if you find any cuffs pick em up, we can never have enough cuffs.’’ She offered a cheeky smirk before walking between the shelves to talk to the Rodian quietly.

An hour or two... The message was displayed on her hardlight comms with a nod of her head. She didn't need much else. that gave her a better chance to make sure everything was prepared for what she wanted them to do as her cooks were working in the galley of the ship prepping food to serve. Drinks were set up to chill and be ready when the time came. Junko getting her make up and robes proper instead while the Otachi were following suit. her body doubles and handmaidens functioned like highly skilled actors. They knew how to mimic her movements, they could modulate with some of the disguise kit their voices to be like hers and everything even down to the smallest kyberite bell in the hair imitated and copied their princess. So when the time came the seven of them could stand out front of the ship and greet Tegan Farron and Zidol Khukhi

There had been a brief moment of pause for Tegan when things in the diner were paid for. She had been about to protest, to state how she could have paid for her own meal, and all that rabble. But fact of the matter was it was kind of nice. Hard to wrap her head around, but nice regardless. It was probably something she never would have allowed before the accident, but the whole point of this was to try new things, right? So...she didn't comment. Not more than a soft, deflating sigh and a sincere "Thank you."

From there, the blonde followed Zidol from the diner and out onto the streets. There was pause, and Tee took a moment to center herself in her location before she began to hurry along to keep up with the other woman leading the way. It wasn't like the blonde soldier frequented the area enough to know all the back alleys and such. She pretty much knew her way from the shuttle to the diner, and not a whole lot else. So she made damn sure to keep Sy in her sights and stick close to keep from getting left behind and lost.

When they reached the warehouse, Tegan frowned and shot the other woman a long look. "What is this?" she asked, but when the door was opened for her, she didn't hesitate to go through it. If it came to a fight or an ambush, Tee would do her best and be satisfied whatever the result. But as it were, Sy hadn't led her astray. In fact, when Tee's eyes focused fully, she let out a low whistle and separated from the other so that she could get a better look at the things on display.

"Do I even wanna know how you got hooked up with a place like this?" she did question, only glancing briefly over her shoulder at the other woman before focusing her attention forward again on the products laid out for her viewing delight.

Sy just smirked over her shoulder and gave her friend a shrug, still walking towards the owner of the establishment. ‘’You’ll get your own contacts.. Most towns have a small place to arm up. Just gotta know where.’’ She let out a faint chuckle and went to the owner, speaking quietly to him. If Tegan was still paying attention she would see Zidol passing over a decent amount of credit before the pair shook hands, seemingly coming to some sort of deal. It was enough to cover the costs of arming Tegan up, at least by normal standards and a little extra as was Sy’s custom.

Once everything was paid for Sy returned to her friend, folding her arms across her chest just underneath the bust. The same smirk from before was still present. ‘’You’ll get used to places like this in our line of work. But anyway, grab whatever you wish. I’ve paid to get you up to standard.’’ She glances across the various shelves, there wasn’t really anything she needed. Plus Zidol had been through afew days prior, it never hurt to keep topped up.

There wasn’t any equipment that was particularly amazing of top shelf, but it was mostly well made and cheap, so it would do for now. Sy glanced back to Tegan before making a wide gesture to the entire shop with both arms. ‘’So take what you think you’ll need, I trust your judgement enough.’’

her time waiting and slightly being anxious was... different... well maybe a little. She had found a good enough distract with one of Sor-jans games he had insisted on installing with their chevron pads while her wrist computer slid out from under the kimono and displayed it. Something for matching colors and objects to make different lines but she could be sure as each level she was trying to cascade more to beat the little devils high score... if only to rub it in his short face. She wasn't paying attention to the time but glad that it would at least distract her.

Well, at least Sy was honest about it. The place was seedy at best, but clearly what they needed at the moment. At her new friend's prompting, Tegan began to browse, taking in the equipment and such littered about the place on the displays. There wasn't much in terms of melee weapons that Tee wanted, but she found herself a sturdy blaster, something that didn't look as if it would blow up when she squeezed the trigger. She examined it thoroughly, checked the cartridges for it, the barrel, everything to make sure it was clean and wouldn't catch. Once satisfied, she looked for another and did much the same once she found one.

Satisfied, the blonde soldier moved to bodily gear, and settled for something easier to move in than over tactical. Again the gear was checked, making sure it was all in one piece with no holes or the like. It wasn't that she didn't trust the salesman, it was training engrained in her mind even if she didn't remember such a trait was actually there. Old habits truly do seem to die hard, and Tegan was profound proof of this.

"Alright," she finally let out once she seemed content with her selection of things. "I've got what I'll need," she extended a hand partially to display three sets of cuffs dangling from her fingers as well. "This was all I could find for cuffs, though." she did state and shrugged a shoulder. "Hopefully its enough."

Sy followed afew feet behind Tegan whilst she shopped, curious as to what she was looking at and what her preferences were. Not to dissimilar from her own which was refreshing, but part of her was hoping for something wildly different to better adapt to better situations. Oh well. Once she had everything, Sy gave it a check too and gave a nod to the shop owner after each piece was selected. He seemed fairly content at the selection so Sy gave a wave and lead Tegan back outside, talking as she walked. ‘’Keep em, you’ll need your own too.’’ She smiled over her shoulder briefly as she led them back into the alleyway.

Looking from left to right, then up to make sure the pair weren’t being stalked. It was highly unlikely that they were but it wasn’t a bad habit to have. ‘’So. We can either go test out your gear, or we can go check out this contract.’’ Walking afew feet away from the warehouse Sy chose a random wall to lean up against while taking out a pack of cigarettes, placing one in her mouth she quickly lit it and offered Tegan one.

‘’Suppose now is as good a time as any to explain what contracts I prefer.’’ She took a drag from the cigarette and exhaled the smoke off to the side, keeping the cigarette itself in the corner of her mouth while she was still offering one to Tegan. ‘’I don’t go after big fry, at least not alone. I don’t wanna deal with competition and whatever friends they tend to surround themselves with. I don’t go after groups, that’s a pain in the ass without carbonite or your own ship.’’ Taking another drag she put her pack of cigarettes back into the jacket once Tegan accepted or declined, lighting hers too if it was accepted. ‘’If I don’t like the client, ill deny the job. I don’t care what they pay. If someone’s an nerf herder, we don’t take the job. Also, I try to take targets alive. More creds that way. Sometimes you gotta kill em though, so be ready for that.’’ She took one last look up and down the street before looking into the other woman’s eyes. ‘’Any questions?’’

"Princess, we have received information... there is a competition that has been announced from The Lady Dewinter." Junko raised an eyebrow as she sat there and was looking at them as she thought about it. The message came to her chevron pad while she was reviewing the galavision competition.. a chance to sing and preform... not exactly what she would have thought but Scherezade was well... she was honorable and the agents of chaos had helped them when they needed it. So she could try and do just that... "Hmm I would need a new outfit." She said it and had an idea as she switched it to check out Sasoris pages while designing it and some of their stocks to better design it. "Hmm alright. I shall have to attend and participate."

With a collection of gear now on her person, Tegan had followed Zidol out of the little hidden shop and back out onto the streets. She made no fuss about the way her companion moved; there was no questions about paranoia, no curious quirks or inquiries of any kind. As a soldier, Tee understood that there could be anyone lurking from anywhere at any given time. No place was truly a safe place, and as such keeping an eye out was understandable.

But when there was an offer for a cigarette, the blonde politely declined though didn't seem bothered that Sy was a smoker. She was used to these things, and even if it had bothered her - which it did not - she wouldn't have said anything. It was none of her business, after all. Not her life, not her place to butt in.

"I get it," she let out with a nod. "Instinct is a big part of the job, which means I should be pretty decent in that department. I also have no problem with bringing targets in alive. I prefer justice over mayhem anyhow," she paused, then made a noise in her throat and canted her head a bit to one side. "Granted, I also understand that this is not always possible." she huffed a breath and folded her arms. "All in all, I get it. I'm following along thus far." And she was thankful for the insight too. Sy made it easy to keep up with, and none of what was being said really went against Tegan's moral code. So....so far so good.

Sy gave a nod to what Tegan had said, with nothing more than a quick smile she pushed herself off of the wall and began walking towards the meeting point. Whilst they were walking Tegan would probably see from behind that Sy was making at least some effort to clean herself up a little and make sure everything was in its right place. Though there was only so much she could do, a dust coat and more disheveled look was kind of her look. Though she did stop at a well, if only briefly to gather some water to wash the worst of the dirt off of her face and hands.

She would have offered to stop for Tegan though she looked rather good as was so she didn’t bother. Flicking away the last of the cigarette and a good 15 minutes or so of walking they arrived. Waiting outside Sy spun around to face Tegan, with a bright and confident smile. ‘’Okay! So here’s the battle plan. Rich people like to talk, we’ll let her talk. If any beverages are offered take water and only water, keep your manners of course. Once we get the details of the job ill look to you, all I want is a subtle nod or shake of your head. If we disagree ill ask for some time to discuss with you and we’ll talk it through. Got it?’’ Sy had spoke fairly fast, it was a lot to say but of very little substance. As what she said was mostly basic manners apart from the last part about the nodding. As the response was given she gave another bright smile before striding into the port. It wouldn’t take as long to find the desired ship, once they arrived she took out the comlink and spoke quickly, in a confident and professional voice. ‘’We’re outside.’’

With that she put the comlink away again and rolled back and forth on the balls of her feet whilst they waited. Figuring to better present herself she adjusted her hair under her hat and done up an extra button on her shirt, not that she was being overly revealing. In her experience though, the rich looked down upon her kind so best not give them more material.

The otachi came, delivering the message with small nods as Junko headed outside of the ship Kōgō Heika with its larger size compared to some there. The black alusteel sides and central pyronium interior section which served as her area of the ship. The techs and crew used the outer hull as living quarters and it was where all of the weapons and ships were located as the princess stood at the doorway when it opened and changing from form fitted hoodies and pants into the vine silk kimono might be a surprise... maybe. She didn't doubt their intelligence and so couldn't assume they wouldn't have guessed a few things. "Welcome."

She said it and stepped forward wearing the Shiroi make up as it cast her skin with a paler complexion but ethereal blue hues, dark eyes and red lips. The Kimono obviously expensive but few knew how much more protective it was as she stepped forward taking in the two of them. The sound of tiny crystal bells strewn throughout her hair that jingled as she walked, tassets of gemstones and crystals on aurodium string ending in rainbow gems. She stopped with a statuesque grace clasping hands in front of herself as the fingers interwove and small breaths making her look move like a carved statue rather then a person. The only thing showing was the long blinks of the eyes.

"It is nice that you have come." She said it and her voice was soft but warm before turning on arkannes wooden heel and motioning for the two fo them to join her. The entry ramp of the inner ship chambers where she lead them to go inside as Xīfāng stood up towering over the smaller woman. The Atrisian tiger mewled before turning to follow her into the ship that wasn't designed like others. Instead of metal walls and flooring it was polished marble, the walls murals and artworks with gemstones arrayed to make the images. Alcoves with statues and art from across the galaxy and Onna-bugeisha from the Yovshin Swordsmen stood around.

She led them towards one of the closer rooms as it opened into a long hall with a table low to the ground and cushions for the seats. screens that were paints around the room where attendants milled about and were bringing out refreshments. Her hand motioned to the seats closest as she sat down brushing and adjusting just a little before being at the head of the table. The atrisiantiger going behind her and curling around more in a protective manner when she finally spoke. "If there is anything you wish to drink or eat please do say so. We have some fo the finest chefs and collection from across the galaxy."
