Intent:
The Intention for the creation of 'The Queen of Commenor's Own' is to further enhance the roleplay experience of those individuals that often encounter Lady Kay or who have some dealings with the Commenor Systems Alliance. In its formation, it is further intended to expand upon the rich lore - and backstory - of the various threats upon Lady Kay that often befall her - specifically kidnappings - by introducing an NPC unit to up the ante and difficulty of such an event in the future. Additionally, it is further intended to provide as aspect for those within the Commenor Systems Alliance Faction to enrich their own roleplays and stories, as well as enrich the lore already established and continually created by members of the CSA Faction. But mostly its to create a bodyguard unit in the hopes that people will think twice about kidnapping Lady Kay in the future.

- Creme de la Creme - These are the best that the Knights of the Pyre have to offer from their own ranks. Those showing the most promise, commitment to their cause and highest skill are recruited into the 114th.
- Company Contract - Due to their allegiance to Amelia Sorenn-Syrush, the 114th maintains a special status within Sorenn-Syrush Industries. This unit is often the first to be equipped with the newest armaments and products developed and produced by the company. They want for nothing and their supplies are always well maintained to ensure that they are able to execute their objectives and primary role.

- Creme de la Creme - Because these are the best that the Knights of the Pyre have to offer it means that it is also a detriment to the unit. If any number should fall, it would take months, if not years to replace their number due to the stringent testing and requirements that must be met to even be considered - let alone be elevated into their ranks.
- Lack of Combat Experience - While those serving in the unit are the best and most highly trained individuals of the Knights of the Pyre, the unit of otherwise untested. Not having experience combat in any situation, or on any field of battle, it is unknown how they would react to an assault - as training and simulations are not a substitute for the real experience.

The 114th Line Century, also known as Queen of Commenor's Own, is a unit of the Knights of the Pyre military order detached from the larger 6th Line Cohort of the 80th Line Legion. A relatively untested unit, what they lack in battlefield experience they more than make up for in courage and their near zealous focus upon their charge of protecting Lady Kay.
In the year 852 ABY at the onset of what would become known as the Great Galactic War, Amelia Sorenn-Syrush had recently been appointed the Supreme Commander of the Commenor Military - on top of the already held position of Head of Security - by the former King of Commenor Veiere Arenais. Seeing the possibility of a potential kidnapping or attempt upon the Queen of Commenor Kay Arenais; it was decided that a new security force was needed to be deployed. Drawing from the best of the Knights of the Pyre - a military order restructured from the Holy Order of the Righteous Flame a year earlier and loyal to Amelia - the new security unit was developed.
Their equipment is directly produced and provided to them by Sorenn-Syrush Industries - and it was only in recent months that the unit itself was to be positioned in the Royal Palace at the permission of Kay Arenais - with any additional equipment needed by the unit readily available. Their primary focus is on the personal security of Kay Arenais, and within that limitation of command, they work closely with Kay's personal Head of Security [member="Macoda Haberon"] to ensure her security. To ensure this, the 114th is trained in Close Quarters Combat, as well as medium to long range tactical engagements. This can be seen in their equipment, as they lack and form of heavier ordnance beyond the Tau Squad Weapon - which in itself is primarily an anti-infantry weapon that could potentially be used against lightly armored vehicles or vehicles lacking any kind of armor - as they are a unit focused on personal defense rather than assaults or anti-vehicle combat.
Additional training is such that they would not hesitate to put themselves between Kay Arenais and a potential threat - even if it means potentially weakening the unit; they are ordered and understood that it is expected that they place Kay Arenais' life and safety above their own. Thus their tactics reflect more of those focused on orderly retreat and fall back positions, as well as focused on removing an individual of important from a hostile situation or position. Additional tactics are often those resulting in the use of additional units or calling for additional reinforcement of their position to further ensure the safety of Kay Arenais and the royal family of Commenor.
Their primary - and most notable - feature of the unit is that of their armor, a staple among the Knights of the Pyre. This armor is intended to intimidate enemies, while also serving as a protective armor akin to the Stormtrooper Armor or Phase II Clonetrooper Armor of the Grand Army of the Republic - and later Palpatine's Galactic Empire. This armor is their most vital resource as its systems and capabilities are likely to ensure the safety and survival of individuals serving in the unit.
