Blaster fire to their left, blaster fire to their right, and blaster fire ahead.

Fiolette waited and timed the firing of her slugthrower pistol, she and her team had managed to reach the Corellians. "Fiolette Yvarro, we're here to help." And get a purchase of land while we're at it, but she left that out. The Corellian Jedi was a bit busy as he managed his lightsaber into a Sith Apprentice, she ducked out of the way and fired a close-range shot at another Sith Apprentice. She found herself back to back with Raol who turned and fired over her shoulder just as she fired over his.

"That's great Lady Navarro but if you hadn't noticed we're a little busy!" The Jedi replied and switched stance, lightsaber in one hand as he used his other to bring up chunks of the ground. Fiolette watched him a moment as he concentrated sending the bulks of concrete into a wave of Sith Troopers. Dansen had taken a blaster from one of the dead Sith Troopers and begun firing on his own, Rae moving with the droid as they came around the corner. "That's... that's great more friends, you sure you're here to really help us out?"

She fired off another slug.

"Considering I'd like a purchase or two of real estate, yes." At least she was honest, ahead a Sith Troop Transport blocked out the light.

"If you're really here to help, get up there and start firing that cannon. You do that and I can put a word in with the Confederacy about your little land deal."

"Quid pro quo." Fiolette let out, as she motioned for her team to follow. Automated defense turrets shot up and began firing on the Sith Troops, led by Sith Knights and Apprentices who engaged the Jedi and their armed Corellian Security Forces. Doaba Guerfel now looked no different than that of Coronet City, of course the Jedi who dispatched failed to mention that the cannons in question were high up on the rooftops which meant fighting through the throngs of Sith all the way up or finding an alternative route. "Dansen, get us a route up to those defense cannons."

"I am processing the data now, madam."

"Ah blasted Sith," Raol cursed as he managed to just dodge a blaster bolt. "Well we can't stay here, we gotta bolt."

"Right here, c'mon." Rae ushered them into a clear alleyway that didn't stay clear for long, "or not!"

Fiolette cursed under her breath, "we're not going to make it on our own, contact someone in Coronet Rae."

"Got it." She moved to a small place for cover and worked to contact those still in space. It'd be pointless to request assistance from those in Coronet, transit was down and crossing through to another city just wasn't a good idea to start with at the moment. What they really needed was just a clear path through to the Towers so they could access the cannons and work on clearing some of Doaba Guerfel themselves.

:: To all Allied Forces, this is Primo Victoria we're locked between Madine Plaza and Kalifa Towers in Doaba Guerfel. The sith are dropping more troops here than we can handle, we need assistance if we're going to get access to the defense cannons, requesting a strafing run to help clear some of these Sith. ::

Silence stretched out, Skreech had half-curled on her shoulder, peering over as she worked on a datapad. Delila was typing away - there were still a flurry of messages and concerns to deal with in terms of Alderaan and various land holdings. It was becoming clear she was going to be working quite a bit over the next several months, probably on ground rather than remotely. Add in their issues with the Fleet, attacks on Corellia, fracturing of various governments and it was as if one chaotic explosion had occurred in front of her face in one fell swoop. It was swirling around like a typhoon, gaining traction and strength with each issue or situation that got thrown their way.

Xin finally spoke and she looked in his direction, closing the datapad.

"Crappy? I think this has been a horrific day...week really. Lets just tack week onto this."

Hand rubbed her temple, clearly more than a little annoyed. Several issues had been piled onto their shoulders and she didn't know where to start. Idly her mind wandered back to being marooned - horrible but much more easy in terms of decisions. Perhaps it was why she had tried her hand at wandering aimlessly and alone to begin with when she had been rescued. Maybe she needed to go back to that type of life.

"Sorry about the Fleet....that....I...I can't even wrap my mind around it." Delila didn't appreciate civilian causalities. Uncalled for. "Once they recover, not sure if they'll want to settle or keep moving....guess they'll have to decide."

It was true that coralskippers weren't the most maneuverable craft in atmosphere, but the things were pretty damn durable when it came to taking blasterfire. He was starting to get a bit bored by the sheer amount of fire this thing was tanking. To be fair he hadn't linked the electromagnetic plasma repeaters into the firing sequence due to rushing preflights a bit. Keeping up a steady stream of fire while he set all cannons to fire in unison, took a bit of multitasking, but the display made it easier, had to take his right hand off the throttle to make the adjustments, but after about 30 seconds the repeaters were worked into the firing solution. The sheer volume of fire now was far more that the coralskipper could absorb without taking damage. It was still a good six or seven second burst to send the coralskipper up in flames, but at least that was done.

As he was banking away from Coronet City, he was engaged by a lone TIE. Dropping low to the ground he pulled the TIE into a dangerous pursuit through city streets, empty save for debris and corpses by now. The TIE was setting up for a high sides gunpass, and Kurayami let him, activating the jammer in short bursts while staying on the deck. Pulling hard into the vertical as the TIE started his dive, Kurayami rolled once inverted, putting space between him and the fighter, a textbook Immelman. Banking until the wings were vertical he got a solid tone on the enemy, kicking hard on the right rudder sliding the craft around. Once the missile tubes were lined up he fired a single advanced homing cluster missile towards the enemy. It was not pretty, well okay, so the explosion was, but that was about it as chunks of what were once a TIE fighter fell to the street below.

As he pulled back to a safe altitude with fewer buildings and obstacles around, he received a ping from an allied source.

Primo Victoria...he knew he had heard the name before, but wasn't all too worried about placing where exactly right now. Clearly she needed help and that was something he could provide.

::primo Victoria this is Yellow 13, roger location. Air support inbound. ETA 20 seconds on current course, altitude Angels 4. Advise you keep your head down, things are going to get hot.::

Leaving the channel to [member="Fiolette Yvarro"] open, he made slight corrections to his course, heading for the specified location. Upon arrival the scene was exactly as she had described Sith transports and gunships dropping a steady supply of troops into the location. He had seven cluster missiles left. Setting them to fire in a rapidly staggered fashion he assigned a target to each of the missiles. Once the ships were down he could clear a path for Fiolette and her crew. He held down the the trigger until the missile tubes were empty and then switched back to guns. Performing a wide turn as the cluster homing missiles found their targets and either disabled or destroyed them outright, he readied himself for a fast pass at the Sith ground forces. There were enough there that it would take at least a few passes to clear a decent path.

::preparing for strafing run. Be advised there will be explsions ma'am. Find cover, because here comes hellfire.::

Seconds after the transmission she would see the area around her light up with what could only be described as 'massively overkill' levels of fire for disposing of infantry units.

And just like that the beauty of the bioships were irrelevant. As soon as the coralskippers came within range, the Yuuzhan Vong's equivalent of starfighters opened up with their plasma cannons spewing searing magna rock at the Alliance fighters.

Rogue Five spun out into a rapid decent relative to the planet below and opened fire on the lead craft, trusting the shield trio to stay with her and fire upon the skip at different target locations to baffle and overwhelm its dovin basal. The creature defending intercepted Goldie's initial shot, drinking it up like a Tatooine bantha drinks water, but couldn't whip the void around fast enough to counter the other two Rogue's shots. The laser bolts scoured the yorik coral all around the Vong pilot's blue-tinted cockpit, blowing it apart.

[ One down, many to go. Good team work, guys. Keep it up! ]

Superheated blobs from the Vong's wingmate flew directly towards Ava's X-wing. She heard a squeal of alarm from her trusted R9 unit who was tucked into the astromech bay behind her canopy, but ignored it for the moment. Goldie continued her rolling descent, varying the speed of the roll and distance covered, then slid-slipped to port last second to see the lava-like substance flash between the TR-20 and one of her wingmen.

The three of them now were well below their targets and rising again to get behind the coralskipper's stern. The skip's voids swung around. hovering, ready to soak up the infinite amounts of weapon energy anticipated coming its way. Again Ava gave the bioship a stuttered blast of laser fire as did her wingman, then the third dropped fired a quad-linked burst. The skip detonated... So far so good, but it was still early in the battle.

The One Sith's fleet loomed over the planet of Corellia like a impenetrable shield, with the Yuuzhan Vong doubling in firepower. The odds of coming out of this engagement looked slim to an average pilot but Jax liked to think of it as resistant challenge on the simulators. "Well, this is going to be fun." His astrometch whirred out a response with the same amount of eagerness as it's master.

Followed the lead of his wingman, the TR-20 he was piloting burst into it's iconic form. Snaps suddenly tooted out an alarm on his master's sudden course of action; Jax had decided to take a risky but somewhat irrelevant move by transferring power from his shields to weapons and engines which would prove more worthy in an engagement against the Vong. While he knew that would also put him at risk with the incoming TIES, Aurek Squadron was giving it their all to keep them at bay. "I know what I'm doing, trust me we got this." He quipped to Snaps, his droid who strongly advised against the engagement. An ordinary pilot would rely on the safety of his shields but Jax was not ordinary and was ready to tackle on skips full frontal.

"All fighter squadrons, return to ship; we need the ordnance replaced with cluster missiles! Fire at their carriers at range, they couldn't get here from Lujo without those"

Because the remaining Sith units no longer appear willing to fight Therapy Command, and instead fought other units present in-system, the Vong were the remaining issue that had to be resolved. Due to their sheer number, however, cluster missiles were the order of the day, knowing not every submunition will hit. Meanwhile, the Vong carriers being outside heavy yaret-kor range, that is, standard turbolaser range, meant that they could fire on the carriers for the time being, knowing that light yaret-kor range is, in fact, the same as standard point-defense range. And maybe even a miid ro'ik escorting it, or serving as their flagship. It was worse than Lujo, but if they killed the dovin basal, they 1) killed off a Vong ship's mobility and 2) it killed off its shields. The time has come to catch the Vong into a pincer maneuver, with [member="Jax Rhane"] and the others on the one hand, and Therapy Command on the other, which, after the volley fired from long ranges, forced the fighters to deploy, firing cluster missiles on any and all Vong they could target, without exposing themselves to too much fire. Again, they had one volley to surprise the Vong, so they had to make it count.

Foosteps were heard, and Jullius looked up from where he had been lounging on the marble fountain. The young Jediii knights had came over, with questions a plenty. So he had answered them. The Vanguard armor was from before the Alliance was formalized, the sigiils bearing old units no longer in existence. So he had told them as best as he could tttthe old days, of cleansing and liberating Coruscant. Of the push to thhe Core. Of old heroes and grand stories, but in between, lessons were weaved in there. If they were listening. These young men were recognized as Knights, treating them as Younglings wouldn't do. But they still needed guidance, shaping, and instruction.

But the footsteps caused senses to narrow, and suddenly he jumpeed up, longcoat fluttering as he dashed forward, bounding in steps lightly enhance by the force as a cluster of dark robed figures appeared at the ledge, troopers in front lending cover fire. Smart. They had eskewed trying to laaand, and instead likely made a bulkhead down the beach and werre launching assaults on foot, using the crags and rocks as cover. Slower going, but more of their units would make it through if they started at the bottom of the floating mountains and came up piecemeal in light craft.

"Min min vil ut valle Nharquis!!!"

Charging forward with the insulting oath on his lips, Julius suddenly began to seem to flit from point to point in short bursts. Not quite teleportation, but few a few yards he could pull off this feet. Leaping the last few yards, the lightsaber in his hand spun and suddenly expande in his hands to a full fleged pike length device with a burning green blade on it. Landing in a courch, Julius swept one way with the butt of the newly lengthened weapon and his left leg, tripping one trooper, cutting down another two as he rose, skewering the tripped one and launching into a guarded stance.

The rest would not be so easy now that surprise was no longer his ally, but shortly the others should begin to hit the line... Or else it might get a bit hectic.

Yuvie patiently waited at the entrance of the temple, not really wanting to directly associate with the Jedi just yet, but glad they had detained him on sight. Looking over in the distance the approaching Sith forces came closer and closer, the definite feel of the dark side getting closer, a tainted ad corrupt dark presence that even made himself feel uncomfortable. "Early and rushing I see, ba nothing new there, I wonder how the Jedi will react"? The Mirialan Sith got his response when a blue flew overhead, quickly approaching the improvised beach head the Sith had made, jumping around with incredible speed.

"Well, that was not what I expected, best I follow his lead? better then just standing her and waiting to get snipped". With a large force leap the heavily armored Sith jumped from the his position and into the nearby enemy line, landing with a powerful force push from underneath, sending out a shock wave, sending a few Sith troopers flying. "If any of you wish to surrender do so now, if not you will all perish here", Yuive bellowed, brandishing his red blade, which to the enemy probably seemed a little strange, a few hesitating to fire. In that brief moment the Miriralan struck out, the glowing red blade cutting through a enemy trooper, "I warned you".

The Rogues were pinned. The Vong were coming from all sides firing down their plasma canons that give or take could dispose of his fighter into seconds with his current situation, Snaps screeched out in alarm advising against the former decision in which Jax chose to ignore violently. "Buddy, you don't have to remind me! I know we're bait out here!" Powering up his atmospheric thrusters, Jax's TR-20 swerved left and right trying to juke out the incoming fire of the relentless Vong that were surrounding all around probably finding some sick satisfaction in firing upon an unarmed fighter and attempting to diminish those who had a shield to bare down over, given their reputation his theory was probably correct. And so was his misplaced sense of optimism but there was nothing he could do but engage the Vong head on now and the logical choice would not be to lose his composed state of mind.

With his leather gloves gripped tightly over the yoke, Jax emitted a heavy spray of laser bursts with a large enforced battle cry to go with it. The world surrounding him dimmed for a split moment as he continued firing rapidly, refusing to loosen his grip for even a split second knowing that his own life depended on it even though a one man fighter could not survive the odds. He'd certainly try though.

Ava banked her X-wing starfighter into as tight of turn as she could endure after Rogue Squadron had finished off the last of the Yuuzhan Vong's first squadron of coralskippers thrown at them. The g-forces of her maneuver crushed the Ralltiiri into her seat causing the blonde's vision to darken for a moment. Rogue Five came out of the maneuver pointed back the way she'd come, directly towards the ANS Hero of Coruscant, and a partial squadron of coralskippsers beyond the ship, and spared a glance at her sensor board.

The other members of Cartwright's shield trio were still with her, but the tight turn had to be taxing on them as well, not to mention everyone had taken damage to their snubfighters of some kind or another during the initial tango with the Vong bioships. Goldie's TR-20 had taken a hit of plasma; the shields not completely able to deflect the lava-like substance. Diagnostics showed the superheated blob had seared into her starboard lower S-foil enough to cause some structural damage, but no interruptions of engine power. The strike-foil might collapse if flown into heavy atmosphere, but should continue to hold up to maneuvers in space... for now, hopefully! Might be a good idea not to pull any more moves like she had just done.

Rogue Five and her shieldmates passed beneath the Mateus II-class fleet carrier, her tremendous length flashing overhead in an instant. The ship had taken on quite a bit of damage from what Ava previewed in that brief moment.

[ All right, here's the plan while Therapy Command changes out their ordinance for the final confrontation with the Vong fleet ... We keep after those last skips to keep em off our guys. Let's go in looking like we're going to punch into the center of formation, but instead we turn to starboard and skirt along its edge. As each target comes up, we concentrate fire on it, picking them off quickly just like before. Ready? ] Goldie keyed over the trio's comm channel, then she waited until the affirmatives came before issuing the next command.

Rae held the comms up for a moment or two with just enough time to hear @Kurayami Bloodborn reply. "We've got incoming," she advised and let Fiolette hear the rest of what the pilot had to say. Fiolette nodded with acknowledgment and signaled for the team to move to safety. It wouldn't take long before the sounds of Yellow 13 could be heard roaring above the fight, cluster missiles were fired followed by the fighter's guns, one by one the sith transports were either destroyed or disabled but it wasn't over just yet. Yellow 13 warned on the strafing run which meant staying put for a little while longer.

"We need to make a break for the tower, and get up to the top once we're there Dansen calibrate the cannons, Rae, Raol and I will cover you." Fiolette laid out their plans, "and with that we should have done our bit for Corellia."

"Should, but we're still going to have sith here and here," Raol added, "CorSec's gotta have some heavy firepower, right?"

Fiolette looked at the information Raol provided on his tablet, "should yes, but we'll simply need to patch into Corellian Command and let them know. We're a small team and even with the help of Yellow 13. We're no match for the Sith." The alchemical mark on Fiolette's hand glowed but was hardly noticeable by the others, Fiolette however did notice as the mark began to burn.

The sounds of explosions followed by Yellow 13's guns were heard overhead, the shelter they took began to rumble. Bits of duracrete dust spilled downward on the team and so they waited for it to be over. A few more moments passed and Rae tipped the door open, as she did the poor object simply fell off its hinges the streets were painted red with the blood of Sith Troopers. Corellians now ran the gamut of Doaba Gruefel taking the living sith troopers out of their transports and killing them where they were. As the four of them ambled out of the shelter the battle was momentarily swung in their favor. Wordlessly they rushed down for the towers where the defense cannons stood silent, a CorSec Tactical Operations team worked to blow the doors open.

Rae meanwhile took to the comms to thank the pilot.

"Sithspit!" he cursed under his breath.

This was getting out of hand. Adrenaline had been coursing through him since Aurek Wing had closed into initial engagement range, but for much of the early combat Rayf had been forced to hang back and redirect his pilots to where they were most needed. Someone needed to look at the whole board, and while it was a job that Commander Vigil hated it was also critical to their survival.

When the first major elements under Therapy Command had arrived in system, it had been his job as the highest ranking Alliance officer in the field with a clear understanding of what exactly they were dealing with to brief Therapy's CAG and hand off high level responsibilities to senior officers now on the scene aboard Defense Fleet carriers.

With all the unpleasant work that came with authority dispensed with for now, Rayf had kicked his TR-20 into overdrive and aimed his starfighter right at the thickest of it. He knew, inevitably, that was where he was most likely to find his Rogues.

"Eyeball? Where?" he asked his R9 astromech seconds before his sensors started howling and incoming blaster fire raked his aft deflectors, "Sithspit!"

Two TIEs streaked past the Commander's canopy momentarily, and the Corellian ace immediately slammed down hard on his flight stick throwing the starfighter into an evasive rolling dive. The maneuver pushed his X-Wing's inertial dampeners to their absolute limits, and slowly he began to feel the beginnings of g-force which could very well cause him to pass out after prolonged exposure.

Dipping down closer to Corellia's outer atmosphere, Rayf pulled out of the dive at an elevation which he hoped would negate much of the incoming eyeballs' speed advantage. Weaving side to side, he played a dangerous game of juking his pursuers fire as they chased him across the planet's skyline. They were so close to reentry that one wrong dip would likely send his X-Wing skipping across the gravitational pressure and shredded to pieces by sheer friction.

Glancing behind him, despite the extreme danger Commander Vigil gave a smirk of satisfaction. These One Sith pilots were dead already and didn't even know it. Their older model TIEs possessed inferior shielding technology, and even a cursory examination from this range had displayed clear evidence of failing structural integrity.

As if on cue, one of the lead eyeball's radiator panels snapped off and sent it spiraling fatally into the other. The wrecks of both TIEs splashed against the atmosphere, and for the moment Rayf was in the clear. From this vantage, he could see both the fierce naval battle out in space and smoke trailing up into the clouds from off towards Coronet City below him.

"Come on baby, hold together," he muttered again to himself, and for a second wasn't sure if he was talking to his X-Wing or homeworld below.

"Yeah. A lot of de ships have scattered fah now. Dey are all quite self sufficient and...well even if those duros weren't a worry with Corellia and Alderaan under attack..."

The marble ahead of them was starting to fullthe viewscreen. The Dahlia's sensors were still complaining about all the energy being tossed out into the void back over Corellia itself, but it seemed clear here. They didn't have the luxury of jumping away. The ships left with them needed to reach a medical facility.

"I'm not sure I thought of it as home, but feels like...like de end of someting. We need to find out what is going on at Alderaan." The last statement was tacked on quickly. The Fleet hadn't felt like home, but Dells had lived been living on Alderaan for some time.

Before he could say more a klaxon sounded. He twisted back to his station quickly.

"Two TIEs coming up on us." He lifted the mic. "Freighter Crimson Dahlia to incoming vessels. We are not combatants. Not combatants."

Xin shook his head. "Dey are locked on." His hands took the controls. "Nuh gonna let me get right on our tail."

With the combined forces of the Alliance and the CorSec Navy they were beginning to push the One Sith Remnants back. For some reason he felt emboldened, more confident. He was making calls he would never have made in the past and they were...working. A turbolaser battery bombared a nearby One Sith cruiser, knocking out its engines. A second volley left it a fiery wedge of slag and twisted metal.

"Incoming missiles," A rather young Quarth shouted. "Intercepting." The sensors and cameras brought up a holo display in front of Pryce as the Quarth tapped away at the console.

~~~At the Guns~~~
A proximity sensor screamed in his face. These damned Sith, why couldn't they leave Corellia alone? The young CorSec gunner grimaced as he positioned his point defense gun. Missiles. He would know before the bridge did.
"Take this you filthy piece of bantha poodoo..." His fingers clicked the trigger, firing green bolts of energy from his quad cannon in quick succession with a battle cry. The cannon rocked him, shook him to his core and clattered his teeth. But he didn't care. He was shooting better than he ever had before in his life. One after another the missiles exploded into purple clouds. "Karking-!" He missed one. Before he even had the chance to move a second volley from another cannon took it out. He looked to his left and another Corellian, a Quarth, gave him a thumbs up and a grin. He nodded in response.
~~~At the Bridge~~~

"Sir, missiles intercepted!"

"Good! Continue to push forward! We'll pinch them between us and the Alliance forces!" He could feel it in his bones...this battle was coming to an end.

Sasha Starkos had only moved back to Corellia a month ago to take an open position with CorSec and already her homeworld was in chaos once again. Painful memories of that fateful day their beloved planet was broken in two stung hard, but now wasn't the time to linger on them. People's lives were at stake as was Corellia's future.

The newly minted detective lieutenant with the Major Crimes Division was tasked with helping to evacuate civilians out of the Axial Park area where One CorSec Plaza seemed to be a major target for the One Sith. Starkos and her partner had assisted the patrol officers in going building to building, then directing those wanting to leave to the maglev central train station. All the hovertrains were set to take the evacuees out of the city proper and hopefully out of harms way, but the spirited Corellisi had a bad feeling about this.

Jade green eyes lifted for a minute to watch the news conference that was being shown on the huge holoscreen attached to the side of one of the buildings at the edge of the park. The dark-haired man giving the 'everything is under control' speech looked like he'd just woken up or had a hard night, but nevertheless the guy was rather intriguing. Even if doom might befall them before the day was through, don't ever count Corellians down without a fight!

"Did he just... take a drink?" Sash mumbled incredulously to herself while raising a reddish-brown brow with a smirk growing on her face as someone had handed the CorSec officer a bottle from off camera.

"Come on, people... Move quickly to the platform. This is the last train out," the redhead shouted in a controlled manner as she kept her blaster pistol at the ready.

Oh how Sasha wished she'd had time to grab her tactical gear bag from the speeder. Right now all the detective had with her was a protective vest and police side arm. Fire Lily had been spoiled during her days with the Tactical Response Team. She would just have to make the best of it.

"Cluster missiles ready, admiral"

"Repeat!"

So, of course the surviving One Sith remnant ships had no desire to engage Therapy Command, especially given the collective psychoses involved. However, with debris flying everywhere, be it from the area near [member="Dracken Pryce"] or from the portion of the Sith fleets that engaged Therapy Command before meeting an untimely ending, there were few shots from the Vong carriers actually connecting, and those that did, ended up hitting the escorts, probably because the cloud of debris was centered on a cross-section covering the larger ships. Now, with the cloud of debris in place, the Vong had to swerve around and attempt dodging the many, many debris, but so had the Alliance's forces in the system. Which made the fighters take more risks to close in and fire the hailstorm of cluster missiles, some of them hitting the miid ro'ik, nearly mobility-killed by now, and others hit some yorik-ets, thinning out the ranks of the yorik-ets as more of those cluster missiles impacted, but some of them also missed or went dead-stick before they could impact on anything. By now, however, repeat was her favorite line when a battle was still underway, that is, ordering another volley without change in targets.

She made a sound that was half snort half chuckle, and leaned in to give him a swift kiss.

"You an' me, we got different definitions a excellent," she said with a wink. "I 'appen ta LIKE holo and chill, thank you very much."

It was tease but also truth. Honestly, she was looking forward to a couple of months of quiet after everything they'd been through. Now, however, wasn't really the time. They had to move. Side by side, they bolted down the alley while the troopers behind sorted themselves out. With a skid and a grunt they went careening around the corner, vanishing into the city.

It wasn't the last close call the two had on their way to their intended destination. Could fill a book with close calls and near misses. Of course they didn't get a chance to do any of the things on the way there that they said they would. Some flowers. He'd wanted a dapper hat. But that was just details. Nice ones, but icing.

Man, Tryp thought as they neared their destination, it was a good thing she knew a guy. And probably the sort who wouldn't have necessarily run off.

Though, she wouldn't blame him if he hadn't stuck around for this particular appointment.

Jack knew a back way in, and they managed to avoid a patrol by the skin of their teeth.

"Yo! Sedaire! Ya 'ere-YIKES."

Tryp and Jack ducked as blaster fire peppered the halfwall they'd popped up from behind.

"Sweet Maw and Core, EH SEDAIRE!"

Aiming carefully, she took a trio of shots over the wall, just past the whirling Jedi.

"WHATCHA TINK? NOW A BAD TIME?"

Had to laugh at something.

“Sam you there”, Brad called out his little sister’s name. After climbing on board a CoreSec gunship he had finally had the moment to check on her. “Sam”, he called out again over the comlink.

“Samantha is my little sister”, Bard said to a CorSec commando that just looked over to him. “She is supposed to be at the Rusty Spanner Cantina.”

“Sir that is supposed to be over in Axial Park”, the commando asking a little surprised. “That is the general area we’re heading. How many civilians are still in the path of incoming Sith?”

“I don’t know the exact number”, Brad honestly said. “What I do know is those civilians have us. We will hold that line or die trying”, Brad said with a cocky grin.

Normally those words would be unnerving. There was something infectious about that Solo grin. The Commando smiled in return, Yes Sir, hold the line!

"Ya know, we can postpone it to a later date for ya convenience!" Jack yelled over the barricade as he squeezed the trigger of his revolver, taking down another Sith trooper, but rather than thinning the herd there were about three more following in their stead. Not a surprise- the Green Jedi Temple was an obvious point of contention, break the temple and you break the Jedi.

Break the Jedi?

And you are halfway through conquering parts of Corellia.

The parts that were lazy an' hadn't grabbed a blaster in a few lifetimes anyway. "Wouldn't want to distract ya from.... all dis." Singh continued as he barreled over the makeshift fortification and let out a salvo of blaster bolts. It took out another two, then the third hit the chandelier's attachment point to the ceiling. It came following down hard on a group of Sith with ignited sabers about to rush into Sedaire.

"Ahw, feth, sorry about that one-" He grimaced as the chandelier's light bulbs burst and send static shocks through dem same Sith. "-eesh, my bad." Before Jack was forced to duck to avoid being cut in half by a flying saber.

Feth, this was getting complicated.

"Tryp, lil help here??"

The voices. He heard them, and groaned, but kept weaving in and out of bodies. The haft of his pike spun and hummed, bouncing off knees and elbows and skulls, leaving cracked armor. He was, as other Guardians he met called it, 'burning hot' and blazing with the Force. A miraluka would have seen him like a pyre beacon in their vision. Ducking, he locked arms with one trooper as he tossed up his pike, reached out and kicked double footed on one charging them. The charging trooper flew back, and the one he locked arms with he flipped back and rolled on, landing behind him facing his back and towards the poor sod clutching his cracked carapace. Suddenly Julius lashed out with a punch, the air cracking around him, and the other he had locked arms with flew forward, tripping and clattering into a pile with the kicked soldier. A split-second later a hissing lightsaber pike speared through them both and stood their, blade blazing as Julius wrenched it free.

Bloodied, limping a little on the left side where some of the armorweave was pierced by Force knew what, he smiled at the two as the troopers backed up, seeing the flashy display of skill and giving him room, as he had intended. Sweat matted his hair, soot streaked his face, and blood trickled from a cut to his lip, running into his beard. His breath heaved a bit raggedly as he spun the pike up and around, butt end flipping behind his back at a fourty-five degree angle to the ground, emerald tip blazing just about the cobblestones. He leaned into a crouch and extended his left hand in an open claw, a state of ready, and nodded to the two who had been talking.

"May not be another time kids, so if you're ready....Remember, I taught you the Old Language for this...."

He smiled at the gathered sith, and began to speak the ceremony.

"Kar amaha, ni Bey kolechi Tehn hotia Al aheshanho Ihn kunil de du animo!"

Old Corellian: Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to witness a union of two souls!
