Rebirth of an Empire

[member="Alva Calvarona"]

TK was there too, but in spirit. Actually he was aboard some other ship in some other place enjoying a nice drink. And when a few nearby stormtroopers got overly;y rowdy after one too many drinks, he was there smashing their heads together.

"Keep yourselves together you dogs!" He roared.

Ahh the days of Empires coming and going was getting old. As was his frequent problems with having to change Empires and getting promoted then demoted. Hopefully this was a one time thing, a last deal. From what he gathered all the top minds of the politics were meeting. Damn the politics, let the dignitaries squabble over power. He was just eager to be back out int he field, a fresh blaster in his hand with some fresh targets to kill.

"Two troopers at each doorway. I want escorts on every dignitary or Imperial official entering or exiting. Keep the channel clear from chatter and each squad leader report location and status every three minutes."
The Rebirth was the center of attention at the moment and alot of imperial VIP would be passing through. The 337th was among the best storm troopers commander [member="Alva Calvarona"] could scramble, their unit gone to legendary status in the storm corps. Elite veterans these troopers never failed to deliver, even if the current task was far from a bloody battlefield.
Weiss was fully aware that they were being used here to give a shimmer of importance, a way to stroke the egos of the higher ups sideway. It mattered little to Weiss who oversaw this small but not unimportant part of the operation.

"Commander Alvarona," Weiss reported in his com. "Station patrols and escorts are being prepared. The 337th is on stand by for escort missions to visiting VIP." he switched the com of and resumed his guard stance inside the Rebirth main hangar. From here he would direct troopers to their assigned vip-objects.

The landing platform was a chaotic swarm of troops and personnel all eager to relax and get off of the prison they had spent the last few months on. Most people do not adapt well to spending long periods of time in space. Something about them just can not adapt. Greth was not of of these poor people. He had spent much of his childhood living on a space station where his father had been stationed. Space was a second home for him, though he enjoyed life planet side more. Not because of any ideal of a stationary home of any physical misgiving he had, but for the perks of being on a world where he could get things not readily available in space. Greed has no home in space, it is not for rich men.

He looked around at the various denizen making their way through the travel center. The dancers caught his eye but he had no time for that now. He had to find the senior staff and report in. He needed these people to get this trivial leisure out of their systems and prepare for the war that was to come. They did not have time for cook outs or parties. The once great Empire was gone, it had been gutted and left for dead in the coldest corner of space. Now was the time for the Empire to drag its wounded carcass up, lick its wounds, and sharpen its teeth.

"Moff Greth, over here, Here sir."

Greth heard his name and looked around the dizzying crowd for whom ever had summoned his attention. There across the room was an attendant who seemed to be looking at him. He was not sure this was the individual who had called his name until she spoke again.

"Yes here sir."

Greth took a moment to look over at the attendant then walked over to where she had been standing. She was attractive and petite but had an air of seriousness to her Greth found very off putting and exciting at the same time. The woman pulled out a pad as he walked over to her then extended it out for him to take it.

"Moff Greth, I am lieutenant Patersi, your welcome and intake officer. I can take you to your temporary quarters and get you settled in here. Here is your orders packet and information on the system."

Greth took the pad and tucked it under his arm. He is full aware what the orders said and for now any other information is trivial.

"Very well Lieutenant, lead the way."

SC-4486 or as people would call him, Lieutenant Corvax was taking his day off after countless battles, It seemed the Empire was growing and so was the missions and warzones it had entered, They were soon to be a galactic power once again, a power to grow and match, then surpass the might of the One Sith, no longer would they be considered a remnant of a once great faction, no longer would they be shrugged off as a minor faction, they were going to grow, they were going to become the Galactic Empire once more.

Lieutenant Corvax was relaxing in the pool area of the recreational center wearing nothing but gray swim trunks stamped with the Imperial insignia, letting the cool water sooth his battle scars and fatigue, He had only just been transferred to the worldcraft after his little endeavor on Ord Mirit. He had been requesting this little vacation day countless of times, so finally he was granted at most a day of vacations, away from the duties as the Commander of the Storm Commandos,

Though something felt weird about not doing anything work related, not having a blaster carbine in his hands, or encased in a jet black armor suit covered in technology and explosive weaponry, This was the first time he could relax and "let his hair down" per se in his entire career as a Storm Commando, and he was going to enjoy it.
