The children both protested the presence of the animals, a fact which had Elise smiling softly. She hadn't expected them to be able to sense what she and the knight had, finesse with the force simply took time and practice. Sensing passively was a valuable skill. This planet was the perfect opportunity to have them try.

"Ah, yes. The ysalamiri. Yes, their anti-force capabilities act as a shield no force power can penetrate. But what if what we are trying to sense is beyond them?" She coaxed. "Do we need to face them head on? Or can we do what water does when it meets rock and simply... move around it?"

She gave the two an encouraging nod, gesturing for the whole group to try again. "The force is living all around us-- this planet is not void of it. Let your mind stretch out. There is a reason it brought us here today, and it is not the ysalamiri."

She gave them a quiet moment, placing a hand on Dagos' shoulder. A wave of calm pressed upon him through the force, offering him unspoken support. He was perfectly safe.

"Don't try to control it," she reminded softly. "Let it guide you."

Another moment passed.

"So. Which direction are we going?"

While the Rangers were focusing on a pocket of slavers elsewhere on the planet, Varindar remained some distance away from another one. Now that she knew there were no slavers in stock, she went some distance away from their shack. Detonator in hand, she knew that Quesh venom grenades were indiscriminate so while it may kill the slavers, it may not do so instantly. And the same went of any animals used by the slavers to secure the slave holding pens around the shack. Once the detonator has been set off, the shack was then filled with green mist with the slavers nearest to the grenade belt panicking. They were fleeing the shack in hopes of getting a breath of fresh air outside, but they still inhaled some toxins before they could get out of the green mist. With that said, she took the liberty of contacting the other people in the operation:

"We found poisoned slavers at these coordinates" Varindar transmitted, with her coordinates attached.

Plan: Make peace

Even if Jairdain could not see the armor of Stardust, others could and Yuroic recognized her friend. There was a bit of surprise that came from her when Stardust said there must be some mistake and that she was her sister. This caused her to blink, but she maintained the secrecy and wouldn't blow her friend's cover.

Her hands rested at her side and her body language was relaxed. Even in the face of almost open hostility from the other woman. Turning back slightly, one hand lightly motioned to the Jedi with her. Returning her attention to the Mandalorians in front of her, she actually smiled. It was professional, open and hopefully indicated their intentions and the truth to her previous words.

"How far back into history do you want to go? Each of our groups has culled and hunted the other many times. We wish to avoid any further culling and finally have peace."

Since the blind woman could not see the body language of Stardust, she had to rely on Sage to help her. Her friend did not appear to be in the mood to listen. Luckily another person arrived and asked what had brought them here. Looking in the direction of the new voice, Sage passed on what he saw to Jairdain. Giving him a nod, he seemed more open to talking things out.

Again a slight motion to her companions, Jairdain took a further step closer with a relaxed movement. Now almost entirely separate from the other Jedi, she was confident in what she was trying to do.

"Peace brings us here. We wish to have peace between us. No more guerilla fighting or sneak attacks. What say you?"

Hopefully, her words were reaching the correct ears and a conclusion could happen sooner rather than later.

Goal: Find out if the camp is harboring slaves
Team: Riamah Riamah Valkren Calderon Valkren Calderon Beltran Rarr Beltran Rarr

With the dropships having assembled and landed, and the team having been sent out, it was time to meet up with their new "friends" and see what the situation was. Once he had settled things with Riamah Riamah and figured out their backup plan if they couldn't get information out of these people, Josh took point to meet with their leader. The rugged looking leader of the bunch would approach, though his battalion was never far behind.

"You're trespassing in our domain. State your business."

Their domain, huh? Josh slowly nodded his head, but his expression remained calm and stoic.

"Silver Jedi operatives. Heard a band of slavers had holed up on the planet. Had some... Precious cargo, you could say. Just doing a bit of an inspection, if you lot don't mind."

The expressions on the faces of the men hardened a bit, Josh noticed. He could sense a surge of emotions. A surge in tension... Fear. Nerves. For some, even fear. But the man in front kept his cool, laughing in turn.

"Slavers? We haven't seen any around these parts, friends. You don't have to worry about that, Mr. Jedi."

He was a fair bit warmer now that he'd said where he was from, didn't he? Interesting...

"I see..." Josh trailed off, making a split second decision as he started to walk past the commander. "Then our inspection should be short, we'll be out of your hair in-"

The man brought out an arm to stop him, and as he did, Josh noticed his command beginning to lift their weapons just a little, as if preparing for the possibility of an attack. Josh didn't react too overtly, instead his head slowly turned to the commander, brown eyes staring into him as if they threatened to bore a hole through his body. There was no scowl, or even a change in his expression. But that stare was piercing and the man seemed to back away just a tiny bit at it. Not enough to lose his grip on the large man's jedi robes, but the hesitation was there.

"I wouldn't go in there if I were you. We're merchants, see. We tender... Exotic creatures that people are interested in studying. What we've got here is a rather... Dangerous beasty. I hear it doesn't like Force people, you know? They can sense ya. Wouldn't want it to break out and hurt our researchers, you know?"

"Really?" Josh inquired, his expression twitching into a look of amusement, his tone reflecting. "Because I can take care of it if it gets out. Pacified too, not killed. Your research will go uninhibited."

"Oh no, Mr. Jedi. I couldn't bother you with that. I'm sure you have more inspections to be getting on with" The man reasoned, but Josh stared at him further. "You really don't want me in that camp, do you?" He inquired. "It's almost as if you really don't want me to see something in there. Are you lying to me, sir?" He inquired. But just as he was about to respond, Josh peered behind him toward the armed men that were flanking him. They were likely more... Hmm...

"Would anyone like to tell me why he doesn't want me in that camp?" Josh asked one of the others, gingerly waving his hand below his waist. One of them spoke up. "You would free the slaves if you did" He spoke, and the others turned to face him with shocked expressions and audible groans. "Really? I would have never known you had slaves if you hadn't told me. Thank you for that" Josh snarked lightly, though was greeted with the men drawing their weapons - with the leader suddenly pulling out a blaster and shooting the talkative one through the head. They didn't hesitate as they opened fire on the Jedi Master.

Josh only smiled though, as the blaster bolts sailed through him. He knew his movements needed to be limited in Force Phase if he was to conserve energy and he knew he couldn't hold it long, so he had timed it well. Knowing they would fire as soon as someone talked was a big help.

Josh didn't think he needed to tell the Rangers to open fire. It was pretty open and shut at this point. But just in case, as soon as the first volley went through him, he ended Force Phase and stepped to the side, raising a hand to signal to fire.

He had heard the transmission of Varindar Asyt Varindar Asyt of course. As soon as they liberated the slaves here, he would join her.

Gaol: Find and rescue slaves

Hearing the orders and transmissions from the Rangers, Josh and other people involved in the mission, there wasn't much for Ra to do at the moment but provide some backup and support for them. Since he had never answered her question on her having the need to maintain her persona of a droid, she decided to keep it up. That was until the action around them started.

There was a small exchange between him and the potential slaver captain and then somebody from that camp admitted to holding slaves. And that was that.

Knowing what she could do to the slavers, Ra decided her best course of action would be to try and rescue the slaves themselves. Doing her best to keep the act on, she listened to what Lya and her friends had to say about the camp.

"These guys are more transient and haven't been here very long. That's why there are any permanent buildings present. They come in, take whoever they want and then leave very quickly. I'll see if I can take care of the slaves. You guys deal with these guys."

Of course, that was easier said than done. The ringleaders here might be nothing more than rabble, but some of them still had discipline and had placed guards near their prisoners. She knew from the wolves where they were located and was able to sneak up behind most of them.

Josh had changed a few things with how Ra reacted to certain situations and instead of automatically killing these guys, she went to disable them only. A smack to the back of the head and the ones she did sneak up on were down and sleeping. However, there were some that seemed aware of her before she arrived.

Taking out her shoto lightsabers, she had to fight a few times, avoid the shots fired her way, but eventually, all of the guards were out of commission.

"How are you faring out there?"

Onboard secondary dropship enter slaver camp
Callsign: Bogeyman-2-1
----------------------------------------------------------

Armor: Katarn Combat Armor
Primary Weapon: OS-109 Variable Strength Assault Rifle (chest rig)
Secondary Weapons:

Beltran waited for Commander Valkren Calderon Valkren Calderon to lead first squad off down the drop ship's ramp before he began to move. Through his squad’s com frequency, he called out: “Second squad, on me.”

Walking quickly down the ramp, he kept flicked off the safety and set his weapon to three-bolt burst. He would keep his weapon in a “low-ready” position, he followed about four paces behind the last man in Valkren’s squad. This would allow him the best view of his surroundings.

He strode behind first squad for several paces before he began to drift slightly to the right of their position. “Second squad, echelon right formation. Find cover and move to it, but don’t be too obvious about it.” He ordered.

In this formation Beltran would maintain the position closest to the center, which would allow him to keep an eye on Commander Calderon as well as Jedi’s Josh Dragovalor Josh Dragovalor and Riamah Riamah . His men would fan out in a slightly angled pattern to the right of his position, providing even coverage to the right flank as well as setting up a potential crossfire in the center.

With single clicks into their comlinks, each of his five Rangers acknowledged their orders and began to move slowly toward the right of him. From time to time, they would radio in anything and anyone that they deemed suspicious and when each of them found suitable cover, they would-as casually as possible-stop in front of it and take up position relative to the next Ranger in line.

Beltran himself, would come to stand behind a medium sized crate marked ‘rations.’ Still keeping his rife at low-ready, he would silently watch as the Jedi began to speak with the camp’s leader all the while the Lorrdian mentally picked out targets in order of importance.

As he had already guessed, the conversation was not a long one. Beltran noticed the slight tightening in the camp dweller’s muscles as they began to raise their weapons. For the Lorrdian, that was all the provocation he needed to call out over open coms.

“Second squad, they're about to open fire. Light them up.”

Raising his weapon as he spoke, he fired several fire three-bolt bursts directly into the camp, toppling two men in the first seconds of the firefight. With the Jedi at the center of the line, the Lorrdian expected a certain amount of cover while they deflected the incoming fire with their lightsabers back at the enemy. Because of this, he didn’t move into a crouch right away, preferring to keep a better eye on the battle for as long as he could.

This would prove to be a mistake.

When Jedi Dragonsflame allowed the initial volley of blaster fire to pass through him, one of those bolts would travel-by sheer bad luck-directly into Beltran’s left shoulder.

White hot pain shot through his entire upper body as the force of the blast spun the Lorrdian around and deposited him facedown on the ground.

“SPECIALIST RARR’S DOWN!” He heard one of his squad call out over open comes. “WE NEED A MEDIC!”

Still lying face down, Beltran was able to key his own coms and speak through gritted teeth.

“Negative medic, I’m alright.” He called. “Raider 2-2, take over second squad. Lay down suppressing fire and cover the advance.” He said, giving command of the unit to the next soldier in line while he sorted himself out. “Raider 1-1, if you push left we can create a crossfire to support the Jedi at the center.”

The word Jedi he almost spat with venom, a rare show of emotion for the Lorrdian.

With the battle in the hands of the others, Beltran set about taking care of himself. Rolling over, he winced hard as he came up to a sitting position behind the crate. His left arm dangled uselessly at his side.

“Feth me,” He muttered to himself. As looked down at his rifle, which lay in the dirt. Without both of his arms, the weapon was useless to him.

Forcing himself, somewhat awkwardly, to a crouch, Beltran drew his side arm and turned to peer over the crate. It appeared that the red-haired woman, Riamah, had opted to advance into the camp-ostensibly to free the slaves before the slavers could execute them.

The Lorrdian lined up a shot with his pistol and fired, taking one of the slavers who’d been training his rifle on her in the head and dropping him. Wasting no time, the Lorrdian would line up another shot and another, methodically taking out as many of the slaver scum as possible.

After being called to join the rest of the delegation by Master Xeraic, I sank into a more focused and less of a joking attitude. Not even a few paces later, my group was met by a female, or what it seemed like, carrying a large banner. "Is this how Mandalorians like to introduce themselves?" I thought, scanning the banner with my eyes and nodding to myself. Finally after what seemed like forever, the woman spoke through a vo-coder.

"You're the delegation?"

That really was a loaded questions. Some of us were actual representatives of the Silver Jedi Order while others were simply students like myself trying to learn how to negotiate, represent the Silver Jedi, and cool tensions between hot headed groups. Knowing my place, I simply sat back and watched.

Then, I felt something strange. Looking up, I saw a few beasts- what seemed like something similar to dragons landing around. Then, I didn't feel them. I only felt them. Whatever they were, they had some sort of special role. My connection to the force felt somewhat suppressed by them.

The woman, Stardust, continued to mention about how the Mandalorians were hunted by various groups, an obvious sourness to her tone. This statement was definitely packed with emotion, nothing that needed to be around any sort of negotiation. Then, Jairdain spoke up and countered her statement to mention that both sides had committed such atrocities.

There was an interesting history between the two, that was for sure. Mandalorians were definitely a force to be reckoned with, and especially this Clan Australis. Probably why we were all brought here to Myrkyr: we needed to keep the powerful ones as neutral or frenemies if possible.

"Peace brings us here." said Jairdain, "We wish to have peace between us. No more guerilla fighting or sneak attacks. What say you?" she concluded, awaiting a response. Suddenly, I felt the gravity of the situation as we all waited in silence for the other group to speak as a response.

Her alor spoke, then she looked to stardust realized that she was tense, the fact of the matter she could truely speak freely and get this off her chest was present! However instead she restrained herself for that chance of peace, that chance to be able to turn their resources towards fighting the sight was present

then weve a mutual thought no? After all weve a common enemy between us that has a hunger for more and more power and to eradicate those within its path that wont stay in line

The Sith, star had witnessed what they did when you fell out of line and stood up to then, she would forever remember that day on commenor when millions had been snuffed out in a blink. Looking to her alor she would wait for hin to speak

Yuroic had to bite his tongue hard, he was not pleased with the response of this supposed sister of Stardust. The Jedi, especially the Silver Jedi Order, often tried to create peace between themselves and the Mandalorians but it was them who attacked innocent Jedi worlds and terrorised them, trying to goad a bloody war. The latest altercation left the Mandalorians quite weak with them losing all allies. It was ironic, that their closest allies, the Sith were the ones who delivered the final blow to the Mandalorians. Steeling himself, he stared down the Mandalorians, trying not to speak out and start an argument with them. They were thick-skulled so it would have been a waste of time is what he kept telling himself.

"And what happens when the common enemy is no more? How do we even know that you think the Sith as the enemy? Been working for them for so long, it is hard to think that would you be committed in an attack against the Sith." Yuroic stated as he stared at Kaine, they both knew the previous Mandalore was allies with the Sith and let the Sith commit horrific attacks on their other allies in the past. He had been on Commenor, he had learned of the Mandalorians refusing to help the Commenori people even though there were familial ties between Commenor Royal family and the Mandalorians.

"We are aiming to stop the Sith, prevent them from taking worlds like this one and completely decimating the planet's surface and wildlife. If you wish to join us in the attack then you will be welcomed but you would be acting within SJO space." Yuroic stated in a firm tone.

The Jedi Master seemed unperturbed by the presence of the ysalamiri and Kat couldn't help but admire this Jedi Master in their confidence, to feel fine in the presence of beings that take away a Jedi's greatest tool. Breathing slowly, Kat wasn't sure she would be able to sense anyone around, but she had to try. To give up would be awful, and she would never let herself to be forgiven. Lifting a hand out, Kat tried to feel the Force around the areas where there was basically nothing.

The pockets of the Force nullifying lizards were very distracting, she couldn't focus on the other areas of the planet where there was some force. The empty void was too terrifying to Kat as she worried that the creatures would be monsters. "I can't do it Master, all I sense is nothingness." Kat moaned, a little disheartened at the failing as she hung her head in shame.

Adenn stood at the edge of the clearing, still cloaked, but able to listen in on the conversation through various means and some help from friends. What he heard was interesting to say the least, but Adenn also knew it wasn't his place to interrupt yet. This peace agreement was between Clan Australis and the Jedi, though Adenn would find one useful as well, and a way to ensure future peace if possible. At least until the Sith were gone, just as Kaine had said. Watching them continue to talk, Adenn was truly surprised when Kaine took his helmet off. What was Kaine playing at just now?

Sighing to himself, Adenn debated with himself on his next move, even as Kaine listed what he'd done against the Sith. Shaking his head once more, Adenn made up his mind, he'd stand by his vode in this as well, for Mandalore. Adenn deactivated his armor's cloak then, as he stood there at the edge of the forest. Then he walked forward, out of the forest and into the light, hands away from his numerous weapons, and armor in plain view. It only took him a few moments to come stand side by side with Kaine and Star. Nodding to his vode, Adenn then turned his gaze towards the Jedi representatives. He didn't say anything, just sized each of them up, before turning his gaze towards the two who would truly make things happen. Adenn wouldn't interfere here, but he would show his unity with his vode, and he'd be there should things go South.

Yuroic wanted to laugh, he wanted to laugh so much as he looked at Kaine, the man was taller than him yes but the Mandalorian was wearing full beskar which added height and bulk. Yuroic doubted there would be much height different if they were wearing the same clothing. Then there were the counters to Yuroic's questions on the Mandalorians since they worked for the Sith, he laughed at their excuses. And when the question was raised about where were the Jedi in all this conflict, Yuroic snorted and shook his head, now had gone too far. Taking a step back for personal space, Yuroic liked to have a little personal space when talking.

"I can't believe you think you have all the creds in this deal?" Yuroic asked Kaine looking incredulous at the man, the offer was terrible deal. "I fought the Sith long before you ever started fighting them. I fought them when they attacked the Dominion. I lost my arm on Mirial fighting the Sith. I was on the front lines of Commenor fighting the Sith when your Mandalore decided to do nothing and let millions die. I fought the Sith that you brought whenever you attacked the SJO and I continue to fight the Sith. I would have been on Mandalore and fought by your side because I know the Sith are wrong, what they have done to Voss, where the SJO had been for so many years that was our home and now it is Sith and in ruins. But you are insane if you think that you keep Myrkr."

Yuroic was cold, his eyes dark and fierce. "I know every attack that you have lead or been a part of. I won't have you in charge of a world in our space when you love to try and kill our children, our families on Kashyyyk and the repeated attacks on Umbara." Yuroic wasn't backing down and he wasn't going to let Kaine dictate the terms of this deal which was an outrageous agreement. "We can fight the Sith, ensure that Mandalore isn't under their control, but either you swear and keep your word to never attack Jedi ever again, or you leave Myrkr because this isn't your world. And you don't have the army to fight us." There was a threat so that Kaine knew that this was a negotiation but they weren't asking for favours from Kaine, they were the ones making the terms. "Anyway, I'm sure after Mandalore is free from Sith control, you'll want to be back there."

He knew that Jairdain was in charge of these talks but he couldn't contain himself, he was angry and wanted to show the Mandalorians what it was like to bombard a person's home, to repeatedly attack them then have the audacity to demand that the Jedi left you live unchecked in their space with no promise of not attacking them. It was too much.

Sukai had interacted with the force blocking creatures in the past, to her they were a wonder and an intriguing evolution due to their natural predictor, a being that was force sensitive and hunted with it's help. As such it wasn't hard to see why the Ysalamiri slowly attain such abilities over its many many years.

In addition the knight was capable of searching and tracking without the need of the force through her racial powers, in this sense the lizard like animals smell could not be hidden, allowing Sukai to wave around their presence with more accuracy then some others though that was still a secret for the time being.

She walked up to Kat, placing a hand on the women's shoulder in a comforting manner, "do not be to distraught over this, you cannot expect to get everything on your first go". "Perhaps it would beneficial to see one up close, a Ysalamiri that is, no need to be frightened, the creatures are only half a meter long, kind of cute if you like lizards".

There was little to no hesitation from most of the rangers in Valkren's squad, witnessing the escalating situation while their lead Jedi Master was 'having a go at it' with the now-obvious slavers. Luckily enough, despite the shots placed through Josh Dragovalor Josh Dragovalor whilst using his force abilities, the opposition wasn't necessarily well trained with their shots. It was quite easy to sidestep a few of the stray bolts.

But they could be the worst shots in the world, with a blaster in their hand they're still a threat.

"Engage!"

Precise bursts came from each operative in the squad, each member picking out their target and focusing their fire toward it.

The commander did the same, taking several careful steps forward whilst firing off bursts of bolts. His heads-up-display within his helmet did a decent enough job helping the soldier pick out his targets, but he trusted his own skills much more than a computer system. He's survived years of firefights and wars relying on the skills he had been trained in and had learned- that wasn't about to change.

After watching a slaver get tossed back from a helping of blaster bolts to the chest, he'd shift into cover, stabilizing his weapon over top of the nearest crate to continue putting rounds down-range.

"Specialist Rarr is down!" The words echoed out through their team's communications, causing Valkren to pause in place.

Down.. That word could mean so many different things in combat. He hated it.

Commander Calderon made himself as small as possible behind cover for the moment, looking back towards Beltran's position to see if the specialist had taken a slug right to the forehead- or if he had just tripped over himself.. After another moment, it was apparent that he had taken a bolt somewhere in the early part of the firefight. Calling off the help that was offered, Valkren assumed he was good for action- and now that the specialist pulled himself back behind cover there was no way for the commander to physically see him.

Turning forward, he'd lift his blaster up again to take down a slaver sprinting from cover with a quick two trigger-pulls. He'd retreat back behind his crate just as a red bolt skipped across the top.

Valk would speak into his comms again, looking back to the dropships they appeared from.

"Teams three, two- might need you in a second here!" Valkren stated this as he stepped out of cover fully, pushing forward a few more strides in an attempt to improve his position. He'd shoulder his weapon during his advance and fire into another slaver.

To say that Aaran was not expecting the harsh outburst from the more experience Master was an understatement. He actually recoiled for a moment at the sudden burst of anger that rolled off WelshPsych WelshPsych like a heatwave. And once the burst of anger died down, the Jedi around Aaran could feel it. A burst of intense disappointment in his mentors. People he was supposed to be able to trust and rely on.

He could understand that there were old wounds. He could understand that Yuroic felt like he was being disrespected by the Mandalorians. But this was what the Jedi Code existed for. There is no emotion, there is peace. Outbursts like this held no value. Only detriment to the cause they had come here for.

Aaran's entire body tensed. Not wanting to be caught unprepared if the Mandalorians decided to go on the offensive. His surprise was palpable when it was that K Kaine Australis agreed to the rather aggressive counter-offer. At that, Aaran let out a sigh of relief he had no idea that he was holding back. They had done it. A ceasefire, how ever brief it may be, had been established. It was happening, slowly happening. This was the seed that could sprout a new beginning between the Mandalorians and the Jedi Orders. Maybe, possibly. Perhaps it would be a generation from now, maybe it would even be Aaran's own generation. But once Mandalore was removed from Sith control.

Perhaps something new could be born.

If there had been an easy way for Jairdain to keep the mouths of the Jedi with her shut, she would have used it. However, that couldn't be done and the words bounced back and forth between Yuroic, Stardust, and Kaine. Almost letting out a growl at all of them, she allowed the conversation to happen. Not that there was anything she could do to stop it.

A few details and items of interest were pointed out by both parties in tones that weren't entirely friendly. Once everybody was finished, Kaine removed his helmet and strode forward to them. Not being able to actually see this herself, she used the eyes of Sage. She wasn't in a position to dispute anything he mentioned, so the Jedi kept her mouth shut.

Listening was part of her job and she did that with great fortitude. Words washed over Jairdain and while she might not approve of what was said by Yuroic wholly when the Mandalorian replied, it was clear the message had been received. Standing next to her love, she nodded when Kaine agreed to the terms Yuroic put on the table.

They were honorable people and she trusted them enough to know once their word was given, it would be kept. As long as the Silvers did not attack first, there would be an uneasy truce between the different parties.

"Thank you, Master Australis."

Not being of the Mando'ade, she did not refer to Kaine with anything differently than she would another person. Her voice held respect and she bowed her head in his direction. Of those that had spoken, it seemed only Jairdain had truly kept her head and remained calm.

While he was angry, he never once even tried to reach for his weapon. Even though he was angry and upset that he had to deal with Kaine Australis, he didn't force himself into Kaine's personal space to intimidate him, he was calmer than most of the Silver Jedi Order would be in this situation, many would be trying to kill the three Mandalorians where they stood. However, here Yuroic was, yes expressing his anger but doing so in a healthy manner. Releasing the anger, not holding onto it. When Kaine very suddenly responded to the terms, Yuroic was slightly surprised that Kaine agreed so easily but perhaps there was some respect between them. Yuroic been trying for peace with the Mandalorians, not to fight but been driven to fight by the Mandalorians and their rules.

Extending his hand, he shook hands firmly with the Mandalorian, the last quip as Yuroic shook his head. "If your Mandalorians are ever found to be part of or leading an attack against us then..." Yuroic switched to Mando'a to demonstrate he knew their language very well. "Gar may viinir a' will not cuyir able bah haaranovor." Yuroic released Kaine's hand and stepped back, he was uncertain that peace could last but he could live to be proven wrong and part of him wanted that to happen. He just wasn't going to hold his breath that it would.

Looking at the others, Yuroic sighed and let his stress and anger flow away from him. "Sorry for my anger Jairdain, but they attacked Kashyyyk and endangered the lives of Marcus and Nitya, as well as you and all the other Jedi. I wouldn't let them live in our space unchecked and rest everyone else again and things spiralled." Yuroic admitted to her.

Dagos fear lessened as the master placed her hand gently on his shoulder, it did not leave him entirely but he was no longer focused on it.

Dagos closed his eyes and lifted his arms to his waist palms facing out to the woods like he was warming them on an invisible fire. This time he pushed further through the force making himself ignore the terrifying patches of nothing all around him. He tried as the master said, to be water but as much as he tried to go around the voids in the force the more drawn to them he became. It would seem that discipline was something he still had yet to master.

“Sorry.” was all he managed to say as a way to announce his failure.

Elise merely shook her head at the two disheartened padawans. "No one became a Master on their first day. Keep trying, we'll go this way." And with a soft nudge, she directed the crew to their right. Behind them the ship doors creaked closed, the mechanical noise clashing through the trees before falling into silence.

The woods enveloped them, the flickering sounds of wild life growing around them. "They say there is an herb on this planet that aids in healing, three leaves an a purple stem. Keep your eye out," she warned. And all at once, the world gave a soft 'waalop' around her, her senses dampening as she stepped into a antiforce pocket.

Up ahead, a small lizard scattered by. She reached out a hand to stop them, pulling their attention to it. "A ysalamiri," she stated with a grin.

It froze, harmless in appearance, and gave them all a deer in headlights stare.

Objective: 2
Goal: Take care of the next wave
Team: Riamah Riamah Valkren Calderon Valkren Calderon Beltran Rarr Beltran Rarr
Effect: Battle Meditation

The intention had been simple. Wait until the last moment possible before moving to defend himself, to know for sure if they were legitimately hiding slaves. While Josh had figured out they most likely were from the moment some of them had begun moving their weapons, he had decided to be thorough. So having Force Phase ready was the best way to handle that. Unfortunately, he had miscalculated in regards to the positioning of the Rangers.

A Ranger behind him, Rarr he heard over the comms, had been hit by the blaster bolts meant for him. He'd heard it, but there wasn't anything he could do at that exact moment. Letting out a low growl in annoyance at his mistake, Josh drew his lightsaber as he decided to keep it simple, deflecting a few bolts to buy himself some time to hold out a hand and unleash a Force Wave, one that would plow down the forces in front of them. This gave more time for the Rangers to seize the advantage toward claiming victory over the first wave. This time he decided to keep his involvement simple with so many forces around, focusing more on acting as support for the squad of Rangers.

He heard the specialist that had been hit decline a medic, but Josh had already made up his mind for once the forces were dealt with. He watched as Riamah Riamah would begin to make a dive through the melee to attempt to get to the slaves before the slavers killed them, and he nodded his head in turn. It was a good tactic, one he was going to do himself if she hadn't. He'd dealt with slavers enough to know what they were like.

Once the initial wave had been finished off, the leader of the lot had been found to have fled, likely to alert the others. "We'd best advance quickly. We need to gain ground, and draw their forces away from the slaves. We've got someone on freeing the slaves, I feel our focus should shift to buying them time to do so" He spoke into his comm. "Any recommendations for course of action are fair game, of course."

He could sense a mass of life beginning to move. The next wave was approaching. Once he'd given the command to advance though, he would hold out a hand to stop who he assumed to be Beltran Rarr Beltran Rarr

He had seen him, despite his injury, focus on a slaver aiming to pick off Ra before she could move to free the slaves. He was grateful for that. Though he had made this decision before that.

"Specialist Rarr?" He inquired. "I know you declined a medic, but... I'd like to do what I can. I'll make this quick, you won't miss any field time, I promise" He spoke up as he held out a hand toward the injury, focusing his energy. If Rarr allowed him to, anyway. "With lives on the line, having everyone at their best, to me, is the best way to go right now" He continued to speak as he worked, his energies healing wounds and sowing skin back together. It didn't take long at all, less than a minute as he had promised. It took a little more out of him to do it quickly, and he let out a low gasp for air when he was finished, but he would be fine. He could do this many times more before it exhausted him, if he had to. He had been tracking the movements of the massing force as he went, doing his best to be done in time without botching up the healing.

"Go, they need you" He spoke to Rarr once finished, quickly spinning on his heel to advance and take position, shortly before the next wave began their attack. He'd done what he could to ensure the mission's success, as well as to ease his conscience a bit. But it was soon after the Rangers took position that the next wave arrived.

"Rangers! Go with confidence! We'll get through!" Josh called into the comm as he took a deep breath, focusing his energy. With only a small number of Rangers and slavers in the area, he would be able to pull this off and still move, though it would be more powerful if he stayed put. Still, this would do for this situation. The Rangers would begin to feel renewed and motivated, while their enemies would begin to feel the opposite - as the Jedi Master began to put Battle Meditation into effect.

They came in droves, more than the eight that had accompanied the leader this time around. The camp had emptied out as the slavers sought out one last stand to protect their investment.

Josh moved across the field in order to assist the team led by Valkren Calderon Valkren Calderon in hopes of turning the tide in his favor. This time... He would join the battle.

------------

Riamah Riamah would find a solid group of slavers leading a group of people out of cages. Many of them would quickly leave to join the battle in the front, though a few remained, pulling out their blasters with intentions of executing any slaves they felt they didn't have time to evacuate...
