Retaking Centerpoint

Jaxton Ravos

Mindwalker of the Outer Rim
Jaxton laughed at Darren's intervention as he joined D'Orrin at point, deflecting bolts and moving forward. For some reason the Southern Triad mercenary didn't seem to care about blaster fire and simply ran forward into the fire, absorbing it like a sponge while lashing tentacle-like arms at his opponents. The Verpine was keen to follow Durok and hang back as he sniped individual fighters. The female Omega Pyre stuck behind the Force-Sensitive as they deflected the blasterfire. The bolt deflection became much easier as time went on, with the Gen'Dai and the Verpine culling the heard of opponents in front of him. Then the mortars started coming and stray shrapnel began to fly.

"I want those mortars down yesterday!" Jaxton screamed, giving extra priority to something the mercenaries already knew as a piece of shrapnel flew into his arm. Luckily it wasn't his saber arm, so he still continued to deflect bolts, but the pain was searing. Jaxton took a frag grenade out of his pack with his damaged arm and chucked it a fair distance in the direction of one of the mortar shots. Even with the mercenaries efficiency, this battle had a while to go.

Daxton wasn't the least bit concerned, as he and his team moved to the hangar overlooking the slave pits, as the viruses and explosives were in place. This was where he choose the true battle would take place. Amidst the iron pipes, venting steam hot enough to cook flesh off bone, in front of a very captive audience of slaves, hungry for food and freedom. The Sith Knight savored their despair and misery, like a fine wine or the sweetest nectar to him. The deaths of his minions was only unwittingly help him gather more dark side power for himself and his cohorts. So that by the time the true battle takes place, the Sith would be brimming with dark side energy.

Silently he waited for the 'heroes' to make their appearance....

The smoke from his pellets would obscure the vision of everyone at that point, but that worked both ways. No one really stuck to the battle plan and at this point with the mortars running it made things harder than they had to be. With Amara's arm missile fired and explodng it dealt a good deal of damage more than likely, but that didn't stop the forces from attacking. So to help remedy this he'd shift through different energies through his gauntlets. As he was doing this he was gathering energy from within the Force. Allowing himself to merge with the energy from the area and then altering it fit his whims. Drawing in that same energy as he was reflecting blaster bolts before he was ready. When he was he'd then shove both of his arms forward, As he did this he'd be attacking with a rather aggressive force push. But it wasn't just a Force push , as he was employing the repulsor system of his gauntlets. Feeding energy into that specific system via the shifter on top of his fore arms to increase the output. The expenditure from the gauntlets would add to the yield and power of the Force push as he was going about bowling over the men standing with his meta physical attack. Hopefully into one another. This would be another point for those assembled to take the time to attack the vulnerable numbers before he went back to whirling his blades as a point of defense.

Alpha was getting shot at the instant he kicked down the door. He raised his blade as a Shield again and blocked most of the blaster shot at him. He was a guy to fight hand to hand. Alpha began to move foward to make himself a bigger target to the Droids. They would fire at him since he was advancing rather than his "team" They would eventuly see what he was doing ant take the window of oppertunity. Alpha took out his pistol and returned fire taking another two droids out. Yelling over the blaster fire "Come on Guys Get thoes mortars out." Just as he said that He heard a hiss sound comming towards him. he knew that a mortar was comming for him. Without a thought he Jumpped into the air and to the left. He would be standing right infront of the path to door way. The mortar would hist the ground to where he was a second before.

Alpha was not going to let the mortars take all of them out. He charged foward with the blade infront of him. He was going to cut every single one of them in half.

Senator Brunswick yelled in suprise as one of his mercenaries, Alpha, started taking fire when he kicked down the door. He then noticed that Alpha seemed to be trying to have them focus on himself rather than the rest of the team. He motioned for the others to take this chance to take down the mortars and the droids. The senator himself fired a couple of carefully aimed rounds, suprisingly taking down a few droids. He was pleased to see that his team was faring as well as he had hoped, but knew that their challenges were yet to come. He kept firing from his blaster, making sure not to hit Alpha, who was now charging forward with his blade.

Durok turned his attention to the mortars, but just as he did a round hit next to him and an explosion rocked his body. Shrapnel tore through him and for the first time during his assault he was blown to the ground. He squirmed on the ground for a few seconds before retracting his body back into his armor, blood squirting from several holes in his body. They would not bleed long for his blood would clog the incisions quickly, but it was still a painful experience.

Alpha charged foward with very fast speeds. He rammed into another 3 droids taking them out. He ran even harder at the mortars jumpping every so often so they couldnt get a good hit on him. When he finaly reached the mortars he picked up a wirey looking droid and threw it at the mortar knocking it over. as so The mortar fired into the wall blasting a hole into the next room. He didnt worry about that for now.

Alpha took his blade and sliced the second mortar in half along with the operater. He laughed as he picked up the last one and bent it in half. Making a metal preztel out of the mortar. Alpha threw it frissby style at drots that were standing in a line. it hit four of them before imbeding itself into the wall. He looked around to see the carnage that he had caused and saw a droid flickering its photo resptors on and off. He walked over and stepped onto its head stopping the little twitching.

With a smile on his lips he said "Yesterday came Jaxton. Mortars are out."

Durok charged up to the higher levels, feeling the heartbeats of multiple lifeforms above. As he ran up the ramp, he was suddenly attacked from above by a shadowy figure. From the rafters a lightsaber came spinning towards him, almost taking off his head, but he was able to duck it. Durok recovered from his dodging maneuver and watched as two dark figures landed in front of him...both had mirrored armor and each looked identical to the other.

Durok hissed under his breath before calling to the others "Darksiders!"

Jaxton Ravos

Mindwalker of the Outer Rim
"Yesterday came Jaxton. Mortars are out." Jaxton heard his 'super soldier' companion announce after he had completed tearing apart the mortars. The Gen'Dai then charged up the ramp in front of them, leading to core of the facility. They were getting close to where their leader would have been. Jaxton followed the Gen'Dai up the ramp then heard an electronic buzz, then the Gen'Dai hiss.

"Darksiders!" Durok screamed a warning. Jaxton continued his way up the ramp, but lowered his pace slightly and got into a more defensive posture, his saber protecting him. He found two large Sith in mirrored armor, with the exact same appearance in size, weight, armor, everything. Perhaps they were twins, but their force signatures were too different for them both to be that closely related. He put his saber in a single-handed low guard, entering Form II and prepared for single combat.

"Durok and I will take down these two. The rest of you go forward, we'll catch up. Barnesworth, stay the hell back until we kill these two."

Osos heard Durok's shouted warning, and spun to see one mirror armored foe behind him. Something didn't seem right about the being though. He raised his shattergun and fired, engaging the darksider. They fought for a few moments, Osos ducking and dodging the lightsaber. He got an opening and took the opportunity. He fired, the hyperkinetic round hitting his foe, who collapsed in a pool of blood.

She was all over getting to the next point. Reloading her gauntlets with missiles before she looked back and figured she'd help out a bit by firing off a shot from her explosive blaster pistol. towards one of the Darksiders that were present. From there she'd then place her pistol back on the back of her utility belt before she'd start to rush on towards the next point of the mission.

From up ahead standing on a walkway over the slave pits, a single Sith stood in gleaming purple and green armor. The ground beneath him roiled with lavender smoke, and the air was filled the with scent of brimstone and sulfur.

"Bravo Heroes! You finally made it in time. My slaves were wondering what was taking you so long. Well now that you are here, tonight's entertainment shall begin. But first, I shall even the odds, just to make things interesting." With a snap of his fingers, the image of the Sith shimmered and then split into several identical Sith. Simultaneously they ignited a pair of red bladed lightsabers, crossing them as if in salute, before his voice echoed several times as if a chorus were speaking, "Time to pay the piper, young heroes. I hope you're all prepared to die! Blood for the Blood God!"

Then they leaped through the air, attacking individually each of the heroes, as the lights began blinking on and off rapidly, and low bass like music blasted from an unknown source.

Alpha felt something grab his neck from behind, forcing his spine to arc backwards as the Sith thrust two red blades into his sternum. DurokNe'Ja was lifted bodily off the ground and slammed face first into some storage tanks. Jaxton was forced to deal with a pair that flanked him and attacked him from the sides. Osos had to duck to avoid the stream of light blue electricity the sith he was facing threw at him and Amara suddenly was face to face with a Sith that seemed to be able to effortlessly walk up the side of walls.

ALpha followed the entire group up to the room. He was facing a Sith that stabbed two blades into his back However his armor could only be pierced if he held the bades there. Alphas arms were free he used a grenade on his belt to thow it behind him. The sith would have to stop using his blades for a second or stop using the force on his neck to throw the grenade away.

[Alpha - Uhm the Sith is in front of you. The Sternum is located in the center of your chest, so basically it is a frontal dual heart strike attack. He used a Force pull on your nape to force you to arc your chest forward, making it an easier target. And if you drop the grenade behind you, it would fall in the area where your allies are since the way I read it, you are point, right?]

Jaxton Ravos

Mindwalker of the Outer Rim
The Sith in charge greeted them, calling them today's 'entertainment', then summoned a band of Sith, all looking exactly like the man in charge, down to uniform, height, frame, everything. Jaxton tried to maintain his battle meditation, but when caught in between two individual Sith he found his concentration waned out of existence, as his mind formulated ways to try and fight them both. He would have to rely on his ability to feel his surroundings, instead of on his sight or hearing, and he would have to either kill one quickly, or knock one back and then push the other, switching off when needed.

I'll try both. Jaxton thought to himself as he focused energy into his right hand, then used it to throw the lesser force signature of the two fighters, then plunged himself into a saber battle with the other.

OOC: "Alpha felt something grab his neck from behind, forcing his spine to arc backwards as the Sith thrust two red blades into his sternum" I thought you were comming from behind me.

As the other was pushed away, the other threw blue arcs of lightning straight at Jaxton as he closed in with his blade. The powerful bolts arced through his body, causing his hair to stand on its end, and his blood began to boil.
