Coci felt his danger and heard his warning through the force. For the first time in her career she faced a cross roads. Duty verses going to aid the one she loves. For her entire career as agent, she had removed all sense of distractions, never allowing anything or anyone to cloud her mind when on the job, you had to, or else you could not pull the trigger. Cold and blunt necessary for an operative and to keep people away, and she was good at that. Until she met Talon, a man that turned her thoughts and her world unside down. The love she has for Talon, has filled her with a new purpose, in one single moment when her defenses where down, he entered her heart filled it with warmth destroying the coldness in her. However, she is still as ruthless especially now he is threatened. In reality, it only took a fleeting moment to decide.

"I am no Jedi", she ran back up the street toward him. She let the force guide her to him, their bond now strong and pulsing along the connecting threads. She ran passed groups of men and women fighting in the streets, the riot had not dissipated or escalated .. but she did not care for that. Ahead she saw a figure standing near to him, Coci was up the street, across from them, but with in range of her blaster. It was clear to her Talon was injured and without hesitation she raised her arms in a double grip and she open fired on the figure shot after shot, until she emptied the cartridge. She could see the figure had a saber, and no doubt would block the bolts, but she hoped it would be enough to give the figure something else to think about and for Talon to get away.

As Kiyala gazed down on the presumed jedi as his leg and armor froze over she felt a sense of relief that it had not taken much of her day up. Her eyes attuned to the force told her other wise as she gazed nonchalantly to the left as a woman ran down the walkway blasting blaster bolts towards her. Kiyala took out another cyroban grenade and dropped it just out of arms reach of @[member="Talon Vosra"] frozen arm before turning to face @[member="Coci Sinopi"] as her bolts finally neared her body as dark purplish glow whipped around Kiyala's form. She extended her hand and drew the power of the blaster bolts into her channeling them through the Sith Amulet embedded in her armor's chest and with the same hand she absorbed the invigorating power of the those blaster bolts and twisted her intent for the energy. The darkness that was the spell of insanity sprung from Kiyala's form rushing for Coci with it's corrupting influence.

Kiyala took a moment to check her sense for Talon Vosra as she awaited to see what would Coci do to counter her Insanity.

Talon closed his eyes and opened him self ro the force. It took less than a moment. Then he reached for the grenade he had heard fall and lifted it and sent it at the jump suit princess. His leg and side would be free soon. He kept focus on the force and while the cryo grenade flew at the woman he pulled her hand toward himself.

Blessed are the peacemakers
Tracyn flicked on his lightsaber, and slashed the car clean in half, the green beam cutting a red-hot-swath through the vehicle, and Tracyn stood no worse for wear. He gave off another roar, rage building up in his body and his muscles. The force began to empower him, absorbing into his body like a blackhole, sucking in the negative emotion and aura of the area, and pooled into a mighty, destructive force. Tracyn stared at Thurion, and broke into another grin. Tracyn leapt into the air, and brought his lightsaber above his head, and went for the classic Djem So move of a falling avalanche, and given Tracyn's natural strength that compared to a wookie, and the strength he was using from the force, and obviously, to great effect. Thurion's best bet would not to be and try and block it, but rather move out of the way- if Thurion could manage the feat of speed.

A slight smile crossed Coci's face. The distraction had worked, Talon would be able to get away. The figure turned and absorbed the bolts, she knew already she was force user, she too could sense it, not to mention see it.

As the figure turned to come for her, Coci began to run back up the street the way she came. The intention was to flee .. to draw the figure away from Talon further. Coci pushed the force to her legs to strengthen them, her speed increasing as she past by the rioters. Years of training and working as an assassin taught Coci to block out all distractions from her mind, the job requires extreme focus in order to take down a target. This coupled with the use of force was a skill that was easy to her. The figure seemed to have the ability to project or form an incantation of insanity. As soon as the it touched her mind, Coci blocked it from infiltrating her mind. Turning a corner .. she gained ground away from the figure, into an ally way and a force jump to the roof. Coci did not stop until she reached her speeder she had left there when she arrived. She was in the air in moments and soon would double back to get Talon.

Kiyala smirked as the two's rouse would have worked perfectly if they had Kiyala not taken that moment to pay attention to Talon. As he pushed the grenade towards her with the force, he would be met by her force only she did nothing to overpower him and only to match his force. The chain reaction would end with them both being frozen together however it was more of a danger for Talon at this point because the body can not simply take repeated freezings jedi or not and she who was in an insulated body suit would merely be stuck with him for a few minutes as the hypothemia soon begin setting in soon. She found herself laughing @[member="Coci Sinopi"] the most however as attempted to run away from a spell as if such things were possible. The spell of insanity attacked the mind not the body so physically running from it would do nothing as she had not took the time to shield her mind or some other defense.

The world would begin to grow slowly darker and darker her as she would start to feel the cold embrace of the dark side.

The only thing she heard was the cold dim of night, it wasn't something that could be mistakenly aroused since her attention was focused on the man before her and so she was completely unawares of the thing flying and that would either crash into the building or send some major payload into it. Whichever course of action it chose it would eventually be met with a crush and a haunting gurgle from the pilot, yet as she stood there she watched this Tras guy turn around and make eye contact for a split moment and then watched as he came at her, this was something she was waiting for but what happened next either was because of Menace's over confidence, or just her lack of thinking things over too clearly.

As he came at her he somehow got beyond her defenses and dragged her to the ground which wasn't very smart at all, the fight was now on and she grabbed his arm and initiated a wrist lock armhold and reached up with her legs to wrap them around his neck, from there she started to move momentum to pin him to the ground hoping her instincts would work this time, she was not about to give him the knowledge just yet that she was a force user and from her position her lightsabers were not able to be seen, none of them were.

As she held her position she applied pressure and tried to get him on his side to properly dispose of him, she was not in the mood and as it was something just took out part of the building so now she was focused on a certain goal, and that was to grapple with this male and to defeat him.

From the blast of the speeder out in the street, Trasker was taken aback and attempted to get back to his feet at once but the young female struck from nowhere.

She shot out a small yet strong hand on his arm, twisting it and forcing his hand to drop the DC-15s side-arm. Before he could pull back the forceful clamp of her legs gripped his neck and the pressure began to be applied.

He winced in pain, straining with his free hand to create some distance between her firm leg and his neck. Thankfully his helmet had come away in the blast so he could at least move his head back as best he could.

Glancing up the legs to the female gripping him, she didn't seem to be capable of such strength but assumed she was simply some resistance fighter or someone from another department?

Sith-spit! Who cared, she was killing him!

Trasker frowned at her, the panic and anger building in him at the result of trying to save her life. He brought his left leg up to counter balance him as he felt her trying to twist him over to get the upper-hand. With his arms currently out of action he only had one option; he swung his left leg back and launched it out towards her pretty face.

A pity it was pretty because he hated hitting a woman, but not one trying to kill him for some unknown reason...

When he went to kick her in her face she smirked and tilted her body away from his kick, as he did this she sneered and applied more pressure holding intensifying her hold on his arm and wrist, she was not one to make too many mistakes and from this moment on she would not be one to make them again. As she fought to drag him on his side she watched his body language and seen he was no threat but she didn't care and fact was he dragged her to the ground and irritated her, not only that but he is of the republic from what she can gather so he already had a target on his back.

She wouldn't kill him this night but she wasn't about to overlook his taking her to the ground, and she wasn't about to give him a kiss for trying to be a gentleman, No this was to settle a score with the republic and to make them rethink their strategies. As she used more momentum in her grapple she continued to build strength and resistance to his futile attempts and grappled with him to subdue him and make him rethink getting involved next time with the goings on of the wars.

Next time they met she would remember this fight and capitalize on it, next time they met on a battlefield he would remember her vice and would remember to not drag her to the ground, but for now she was just going to give him a splitting headache and send him on his way... for now it was just a test of martial might and a test of skill, right now it was to make sure the republic knew she was no easy target and to make sure she knew how they fought. and so far she was impressed by this soldier and she would make sure they would have another later on in time, the sith would make sure to prevent the loss of his life for now while making sure he remembered her for the next time they met.

But for now, her enhanced speed and strength would do and as she grappled him she just increased the pressure and kept his body from making too many mistakes while trying to get him on his side, her mind altered from the normal sith to one who would not kill this night, her focus increased and her resolve hell bent on testing the soldiers of the republic, or what she perceived as being them..

It wasn't a question and this force user was seriously outmatched, as he broke the door Loran smirked and moved within range and held out his hand drawing moisture into his grasp and then began to manifest a puddle that if stepped on would make the giant sized fool slip and possibly even fall, truth is he was no enforcer he just wanted to make them believe he was. As he manifested the puddle he set the man up for a fall and began to collect the force in his body readying himself for an attack.

Should this man attack him. well he would set up for counters, should he be force to attack he would go for speed rather than strength, and should nothing result he would initiate it himself.

As Loran stood there he grinned under his mask and with an altered voice he spoke clear as day Oh I think you wont make it much farther, how much do you weigh? because ima bout to put you in your place ya oversized toothpick his taunt was false since the guy wasn't exactly a toothpick but he was indeed very tall which from Nemesis' guess he was a bit slow in speed but only time would tell.

The kick glanced by her face, missing it by inches. She was ready for his retaliation. He was stuck.

Shouts and screams echoed around them, gunfire impacted off nearby walls and lights from explosions and flares lit up the dark skies above, casting a hellish glow around the Bronx area.

Trasker returned his footing on the floor to prevent her twisting him over and he only had one option left to try and break free and take this woman down. He grimaced under her continued pressure, feeling the blood pumping in his head and smelling her scent from the lock of her legs around his neck.

With his free arm pulling down on her leg, he acted desperately and reached down to his blast vest, fingering to his utility belt and finding the flash grenade on his hip.

He looked her square in the eye and connected with her, trying to read her and wonder what she was after. He struggled to give an impression of his discomfort and slipped his fingers around the flash grenade and softly pulled back on the arming pin, pulling it softly off his belt and letting it fall softly from his fingers.

Gritting his teeth, he closed his eyes tight and braced for a hopeful bang, flash and momentary distraction to rip this attractive and deadly weapon off him and sedate her.

3....2....1....

(OOC: Not at all Isis, it's fine - same to you too.)

Seeing his discomfort clear as day and taking the time to feed off it she watched him with keen interest and waited for him to give in or let go, either way he would not be walking away too easily tonight, this would be a great night for her and if she kept her focus up she would knock him out cold with some vicious moves that would leave him migraine ridden for the next couple days.

She seen his next move and watched him reach for his belt, she knew what he was going for and knew his tactics as she held him, but she could not stop him from using a specialized weapon and so she readied herself, moments later she heard the clip of the flash grenade and smirked as she knew what it was.. she was not a horde general for no apparent reason.

Seeing as time was being lost she unwrapped one of her legs from his neck and went to kick him in his face and then did a back roll and performed a rolling handstand to her feet and then watched him for a moment as she did a slide of hand to grab a smoke pellet while cursing herself for not bringing blinding powder. As she remained still she watched him for what he would do and spun on her heel and tossed the smoke pellet to the ground and disappeared in the smoke, within moments she spun kicked out of it and aimed for his rib cage.

The flash went off followed by the resulting bang, but she was already off him before it had the desired affect. Damn. All of a sudden, her grip relaxed as one of her legs pulled away, the air coming back to him in an instant. He didn't savour the ability to breathe however, not facing someone like her.

Her free leg returned with a firm boot across the face, into his jaw and sending a shooting pain up his head. This was ridiculous. Trasker rolled over and onto his knees, raising himself up, rubbing his jaw firmly.

His blaster lay on the ground still but he wasn't stupid enough to get it and leave his guard open. He watched the nimble warrior deftly perform an impressive series of athletic movements, fluid and sharp, getting her upright and illuminated in a firey glow from the burning speeder wreckage behind her.

Trasker didnt take his eyes from her as he pressed a call sign on his wrist comlink that should hopefully flag up his signal back at Headquarters and call in some heavy supoort. If there were more like her out there, the CSF needed something bigger than a sidearm to help them take back control.

Time to show this little Womp Rat he wasn't just another faceless arm of the law. He was a defender of the galaxy; a tool to protect those that evil like this woman preyed on, and he was going to show it.

He kicked away his blast helmet under his feet and slowly strafed her. At that moment a smoke grenade went off under her, she had done it again and dissapeared momentarily in the grey mist. Trasker crouched slighty and watched, and saw a ripple of smoke swirl as one of her powerful legs span out to cause him more pain. Not this time. This beautiful, twisted little girl needed a swift remjnder what she was up against.

The boot shot outwards and Trasker shot both hands forward, grabbing her ankle and twisting it backwards in one swift action, pushing away to hopefully knock her off balance. As he did, his arm droped quickly to finger the blaster inches from him.

@[member="Isis Fontana"]

As she shot her kick forward the man caught her leg and again but this time she was more ready for the outcome and as he grabbed his weapon she smirked sadistically and performed a crush on the barrel hoping to disarm him and force him into hand to hand. Right about now he could see her sabers on her and if he wasn't careful he would end up losing a body part.

This Tras guy was good, she could admit that and as she lay there she sent a force throw into his body and flipped to her feet while waiting for the cavalry to come charging in, but she also would take the time to savor this.

So whats the name of my next victim? she tauntingly teased as she remained there smirking at him, she had it in her mind to show him to the hospital but not yet.. he was a great opponent, but not one to be perfect at his job or else he would have put her down rather than trying to save her from the wreckage.

Christian Slade

In Darkness I Thrive
Christian was well on his way to the door at the end of that hall when he noticed something. An ever so slight tug of the force kept him from taking another step, and as he stopped he looked down at a clearly out of place puddle of water there which he assumed was designed to make him slip by the young man who'd become a bit of a pest. His golden eyes watched the puddle as he reached out with his right hand, the spell circle within it glowing as he drew the water up from the ground and into a perfect sphere.

He turned his hand upwards and watched as the sphere of water followed suit and came to float just a few inches above his hand. He then watched as the water reacted to the twitched of his fingers as he molded into a long, thin, needle shaped object. It was like a spear, but made of water and much thinner. Soon, as he manipulated the particles of air around the water, it began to freeze until it was solid ice. He then glanced over his shoulder at the young man in the other room and flicked his wrist in his direction, the spear of ice darting out towards the boy aimed for the middle of his chest.

With a huff of air from his mouth, Christian then continued down the hallway and pushed the door free, stepping into a large office with a couple large men standing in front of an even larger man with a distinct scar that ran from the upper right side of his forehead down across his face and left side of his jaw. It was the man he was looking for, and he grimaced the moment he laid eyes on him. "Verus...", he whispered, clinching his fists and looking back and forth between the two men who stood between them.

It all happened so fast. There was jumping, explosions, the bang of a flash grenade, and now a smoke pellet. The rain slowly pattered down, sizzling in the fires of the crashed vehicle; several bodies lay torn and beaten in the wreckage; unfortunately, none of them looked like his target. As the smoke began to clear, though, he realized that tonight just wasn't his night. There was Trasker, fighting off some new assailant. It was a woman. Relatively thin, but the way she carried herself exerted power and experience. Varax frowned; he already had a kill stolen earlier tonight and he sure as hell wasn't going to let it happen again. He didn't give a bantha's ass who this woman was, she was in his way. Still, the beating she was giving the officer was almost comedic. Varax popped on his comms device and taunted him: "Your fighting's embarrassing, Trasker."

Taking aim at the woman, he noticed something rather curious; lightsabers strapped to her body. Lovely weapons, they were, but he wondered why she wasn't using them when she had them at her disposal. It wasn't as if their existence mattered, his shatter rifle fired high-velocity shells that couldn't be seen or be blocked by a lightsaber; one of the benefits his weapon had over a clumsy blaster rifle. Still, he presumed the woman was a force user and knew their senses were incredibly adept. He fired three shots as a precautionary measure; surely one would hit its mark. The shells flung through the air, splitting the rain as they zoomed towards their target. He carefully aimed each one at a different area. One at the knee, one at the shoulder, and one at her head. He hoped the spread-out firing pattern would minimally allow him to cripple his target before he could take a fourth, killing shot.

Years of dedication would have saved her had she not had the right mind to end this all here right now, her mind more focused on the man before her and lost the knowledge of the other a ways away yet her senses picked up on the shots as they zoomed at her and she barely had any time to escape the oncoming fire, what she had no idea was how she got so into the fight she could forget about the one she had sensed there the whole time.

sighing she used force enhanced speed to run toward a wall and performed a wall run upward and then leapt off it but still got a shot to her body, the scatter shot entered through her leg and tore out the back of it leaving whole in her leg as she came back down, her mind now raced with puzzlement and she looked at Tras and smirked Till we meet again she said and leapt down the stairwell and into the bottom of the building and ran out the back and into another building to get away from the merc that is trying to kill her, her jog ragged and slower due to the injury but she was still alive at least yet she is now out of this battle.

Well, that was sneaky.

The woman never even got a chance to figure out that what she was creeping towards was in fact not a real person. Oh no. I'm pretty sure she's viewing the world through 8-bit drug goggles right now, clarity of vision really wasn't winning this fight at the moment.

Thankfully you struck her head.

Yeah, that's right, I said thankfully. You can't see me right now but I'm grinning in the glow of this monitor.

There was a sickening crack as the pipe impacted, the blood began to flow but yet it did little to knock her down, or even out. With narcotic aid pain wasn't a problem and with her lack of brain power loss of intelligence was no issue either. The woman stood up, although she only stood at just above five foot so it was hardly the most intimidating spectacle.

She turned to face her attacker, the outline in the darkness and offered him the most perverse of grins. Perhaps he should have been thankful for the blackout, the sight of her rotted teeth were enough to churn the stomach, she outstretched her arms to the side as if she thought herself to be a god.

“Dee. It. Again.”

Talon closed his eyes again and focused his mind on the ever flowing presence that was the force. He pictured himself standing in the midst of it and let it fill him. The dark familiar energies of the darkside swirled around him stabbing it's life drinking tendrils toward his mind. He pictured a transparent wall around his mind as the dark energies of force fear tried to break in and destroy his resolve.

He knew this technique well, he used it on Bastion to demoralize the rebel troops. He'd used on Metalorn to keep prisoners inntheir cells. He could feel a small part of himself reaching toward the darkness to absorb it and fuel him in helping Coci but if he did he feared he would never find the light again.

Instead he reached for the armored womans mind and began pushing back. He poured calm into his presence and pushed it toward her.

"You don't have to do this. I can help you." He tried to say to her mind as his body began to freeze once more.

It happened all too fast. From the second he reached for the blaster, a force knocked him back off his feet, sending him to the floor on his elbows, crashing into a small crate by the side of a building.

Getting his breath and losing all patience for this woman, he wanted to pretty much take her down where she stood. He raised his eyes to take her in.

"So what's the name of my next victim?"

Was she kidding? He was about to speak but caught a glimpse of the weapons strapped to her waist. His eyes met hers again, she stood amid the swirling smoke. She was one of them. Great. His comlink beeped again, and crackled out a message. Hopefully Intel from HQ about the whereabouts of any incoming artillery.

"Your fighting's embarrassing, Trasker."

That voice again. He had a punk locked onto his frequency. One woman who was out for blood in front of him and a man hidden in the shadows above him. Trasker smiled to himself and pushed up from the floor to stand tall once again.

Without warning, the woman suddenly bolted towards the wall beside her, seconds before more shots cracked out above them. She vaulted back, but her leg spat out a small burst of blood and flesh; she had been shot. The ATU perhaps?

"'Til we meet again." she smirked, that look in her eyes once more.

She leapt over the adjoining stairwell and was gone.

Trakser vaulted forward, leaning over to grab his blaster as he did and aimed into the stairwell, but all that was left was an open door. She had gone. Obviously not one for finishing a fight and bitten of more than she could chew.

He frowned slightly. "Sleemo."

Whoever this girl was, she would curse the day she crossed him after he saved her life. Turning back to the smouldering wreckage out in the street, he wished she had been left in the path of it. Peering around the corner and squnting against the rain, Trasker looked to the rooftops but nothing stood out, but then again with the shadows to cover you, nothing would. He raised his comlink.

"Hey, slimeball. Why don't you show yourself. Stop hiding like a coward. Ever think we may be on the same side?"

He cut off transmission and looked back out into the Bronx. The shouts and screams and bangs were still raging, and now and then a speeder overhead would career across the skyline a little too low for comfort. Trasker was alone once more. He would be ready next time for his over-enthusiastic female follower should she appear again.

He kept to the wall and moved deeper into the Bronx to take down those who were now clearly the root of the problem.
