Rumors in the Swamp (PM to Join)

Oni had no idea that he was now being pursued in some aspect. He just knew he was not liking this, he could feel that chill again, the one that always came before there was trouble. The water churned angrily behind him, but he ignored the obvious hallucination, the water was not churning because he could not hear it.....but he didn't move towards his ship. Frost had begun to creep from under the main boarding hatch and he could faintly pick up the growling...his cloak had been possessed again, full of the souls of the wampas he skinned to make it...(Of course Oni is the only one to see and hear this since he's bonkers....sort of...but still there to him.)

By now the others might notice Oni's heavy, labored breathing, his level-headed demeanor is gone, and he is moving straight for Torvas, uttering in a tone that sounded like he had been kicked in the throat. "Blaster. Now."

It had been perhaps for the best that the Shistavanen Wolfman had not seen the lizard killed. While non-sentient beings might not have held a grudge for very long, the otherwise relatively neutral Torvas behaved on a combination of instinct and logic that certainly would not have made him kind to someone who would needlessly snuff out an animal like that.

Regardless, he hadn't been in the air, and thus he didn't see anything, so for now he just gave the signal to [member="Leir'mal"] to keep watch. It seemed like he already knew that something was up anyway.

His senses had been dulled since he was inside of the vessel, and he couldn't sense the Force aspect of [member="Darth Ferus"] anyway. There was something more...instinctual that he didn't exactly like that he felt, however. Once he had made himself clear of the obstruction and was one out on dry land - well swampland anyway - he gave that blaster immediately to [member="Oni-Karat Sevas"].

Torvas had, of course, been holding onto the weapon for the other for the time being.

"Is everything alright?" It was pointless to ask since he knew that it wasn't, but he figured he might get some information if he had at least asked.

What little animals had stayed with the commotion of the electronic flying do dads began leaving without warning. Even the insects of the ground who seemed to be oblivious to everything began moving away from the area or more notable the path in which the sith assassin took and the area around him. They were a few more intelligent animals who despite their intelligence were a little stupid or perhaps had a few instinct flaws that had not fled from the flying contraption, but at the presence of the assassins they did. There were some that did not escape however and nobody would notice all the poor insects being squished from under the sith's shoe or from other the show of the other for that matter. Nobody not even their own kind would mourn their passing or even notice it for that matter.

Gone tired of waiting for the red man, Saiah climbed out of the craft they had flown there in. Her pale eyes surveyed the surroundings as she followed his trail to and stepped onto the ruinous street of bygone civilisation being retaken by Nature. Ferus had already disappeared out of sight, gone trekking in the wild. She closed her eyes with an annoyed sigh and reached out through the Force, searching for his presence. All she found was a general direction with less presence of animals. It was better than nothing.

"Darth Ferus, where have you gone off to? I'm getting real tired of your bizk, sir."

She wandered into the swamp, pursuing the Mushroom-addled Sith Lord, cursing under her breath.

Thankfully, or sadly depending on the outlook, the shroom effect was finally beginning to wear off. Blue eyes that had once scanned over buildings and people began to see more swamp like features, creatures instead of people. With a shake of his head Darth Ferus would stumble forward, pressing up against one of these such trees. "Oohhh... Why did I have to sample the local cuisine.." Here he would rest, trying to recover from what certainly was a large mistake on his part.

Oni was trying to calm himself as his blaster was returned, trying to ignore the pounding from his door, trying to shake the chilling presence that felt as if it was hanging over him, growing closer...

He strapped the blade back onto his blaster and held it firmly in his left hand, his finger did not hover over the trigger, but his motions were unsteady. Torvas couldn't see his face thanks to the mask, but he was definitely shaken by something. He wasn't visibly shaking, but his movements were slower, more careful as if holding himself back. When he stood with the blaster held to his side, his helmet faced directly to the canine. "....I...need to leave..."

With that he started for the door of his ship, aiming his blaster at it and walking like he was prepping to leap from it. The others wouldn't see anything wrong with it, they couldn't see the frost-mist leaking from every airtight crevice, couldn't see the ice forming over the thick metals, and they couldn't hear the growls from within. Oni could, and he was ready for them, he was sure of them, he was afraid. That's why he just stood in front of the door, right hand hovering over the controls. It was too cold, he was frozen in place....it had never lasted this long before, normally the pelt went back to sleep after being angry...why was it still awake? By sheer force of will did he jam the button, firing two shots into the opening as soon as it peeked open. The pelt wasn't there, the icy feeling still was. Frost covered the opening, and a chill pierced his armor instantly as the tendrils of mist lashed against him.....but that didn't dampen the two smoldering marks where the pistol damaged the internal covering of the wiring hub. No critical damage, but it did look bad.

This shouldn't be happening, whenever he shot a hallucination, or punched it, or attacked it in any way, it left. Why was the feeling still there, why was it still so cold?

Now this was a terrible sight for the animals of the swamp. Not one Sith, but two were wandering around. One, the more powerful one, finally seemed to be snapping out of what ever funk he was in, the shrooms he had chosen to sample exiting his system once and for all. The other, the much more annoyed one, had just began to move through the trees to find the first. The animals themselves began to clear away, fearful of the natural dark side energy they had exuded. But they weren't the only ones in the forest scaring the beasts. Another had, not because of an aura, but because of the shots fired from an armored man. A lizard would yelp as a bolt slammed beside it's form and run off, scared beyond it's wits from it's near death experience.

It took some time, but Saiah eventually found her Master leaned against a tree trunk. She did not enjoy swamps, not the least bit. May she never step in one again. She let out an annoyed sigh, he just had to sample the cuisine. Saiah had been very sceptical to those mushrooms he had chosen, insisting that they were fine when they looked a lot like an ingredient in some poisonous concoction. She was glad he wasn't dead. He had much more to teach her.

"Darth Ferus, I believe it's time to return to the ship. I will fly is you feel too ill."

A wry smile spread across her lips. Perhaps that would spur him to wake up. She reached out a hand to aid the male Zabrak, and lead him back to the ship by the shoulder. She was a bit cautious, drugged persons had a tendency to lash out when they were sobering up. In one way or another, the Rattataki lead him back to the ship. They headed through roughly the same path as they had used to come there. Walking through the ruins, now reclaimed by the swamps. When back to the ship, she would let him go and get the initiation sequences started for lift off. They had wasted far too much time on this planet and important work was ahead.

"No, no.. The lizard man is coming back." The shrooms were wearing off, but not completely. As [member="Saiah"] roused him from his sleep, his blue eyes snapped not towards her, but to the form of another trandoshian like creature. Sort of trandoshian. Slowly he would tilt his head as he looked at the beast, trying to figure out what or who it might be, but rather quickly he gave up. Letting himself get pulled up, he would look to his apprentice, a frown visible on his lips.

"I've never been able to fly in my life. Why would I start now?" It's true. The droid pilot Droid flew them here, though perhaps even the robot needed a break. He would nod once to the girl as he looked about the swamp once more. Now, it actually looked like a swamp. And he remembered how much he hated swamps. As they walked, he would hold up his hand and begin to set the trees ablaze, a frown thick on his face.

"Remind me to burn this whole place to the ground should I ever come back here again, alright?"

She knew he didn't fly, it was a test to see whether or not he was safe to have aboard the shuttle. At least he was sober enough to know he wasn't a pilot. It was a step forward in any case. Saiah preferred flying herself, it was relaxing, but she would leave it up to the droid. When Ferus started setting fire to the environment she gave a bemused smile. He really had it in for swamps, did he? He kept leading him back to the ship, and as he started setting fire to the environment Saiah gave a bemused smile. The fire would inevitably hit a gas pocket eventually and then the party would truly start. He really had something against this place, didn't he? Not that it mattered to Saiah.

"I will, Lord Ferus. It sounds like an entertaining holiday."

Having initiated the flight sequence, the droid took over. The ship glided off into the orbit, climbing higher and higher until it was naught, but a shiny speck in the distance, and then gone. The fire, however, would still be raging on, spreading throughout the vegetation.

If animals were more intelligent and knew the sith were leaving they would be relieved and come back. Indeed the few sentients around may notice the due departing and feel a little more at ease. The two sith did not leave without a parting gift though. Setting the area ablaze animals for miles around would start fleeing the area never to return. They assumed their homes to be gone and those too slow or without the brain to think to leave were swallowed up by the gluttonous heat. Some animal cries were let out but were drowned by the roar of the spreading fire.

Oni, it seems, would get relief as the Sith left the world. After all, this oppressive cold was really working hell on him. Thankfully, the cause of the chill, the Sith influence left the world quickly. On top of that, Oni could see the roaring flames take to glowing among the trees. Convenient switch in the temperature of the ambience. He quickly recovered his senses now that the influence was leaving, and set about quickly getting his towing cable in proper order off of Torvas' vessel. He gave up his holonet communication info to Torvas so they could keep in contact, and to [member="Leir'mal"] he gave a nod.

It wasn't that his business was really done here...Oni just couldn't stand to be on this planet. The fire wasn't too dangerous for his ship, he no longer felt himself to be in danger. He just needed to leave. "Hey, wolf-guy, Leir'mal. We should spar sometime, would be nice to pit my strength against someone who might actually compare. I just need to leave.." For the heck of it, he shares his info with him as well. Not like he can be tracked with it. Then, he simply got aboard his ship. Closed himself in, and started pre-flight checks time to leave.

he would nod "that would be fun" he accepted the info as the soldier left, he would then climb in to the wreckage and see what there was, he would not want to stay here more then what he needed to, there water damage on most of the gear inside "seems this ship is a done for" he would then see some holes on side as he walked further in, he would touch them as he tried to figur out what it was since it was maybe here the water came in "seems like they got shot down" he would look for dokuments or anything that would tell him what they were doing, he checked the cockpit as he got scent of dried of blood, he saw a dead pilot he would hold his nose since the smell was horrible then he would look around as he found the mission file "seems like they were smugglers, they were on there way to coruscant, maybe thats why there are gear here that i dont know of" he would go back as he checked the stuff that were back in the main hall, he found a couple of weapons but since they were blasters he could not use them, his kin are against using blaster and other weapons that you can use by touching a single button, he then found some materials in 3 small metal containers, he would check them as he smiled at what he found "black steel, titanium, durasteel, three very useful materials, atleast this was worth while" he would then close them as he picked them up one by one taking them out of the ship as he put the three boxes outside, Leir´mal would wave towards torvas to come here
