Rust Belt [RR Dominion of Balmorra]

Interacting with: [member="Cedric Grayson"] [member="Mereel Vaun"] [member="Alexandra Feanor"]

The young padawan put his Mask back on and followed the Grand Master, "Apologies Master Feanor, it just seemed that such a concentration of destabilization felt like the presence of a darker power."

Giddean was still a student, but he lived through most of the training to see himself feel the powers of the Dark Side around him. He was never able to put a name to those feelings, not until Master Grayson showed him. Now that he could put a name to his feeling, he sensed it all around him. He was still not finished with his training, and as such he was bound to make mistakes.

Walking behind the Masters he added what he was able to gather from his contacts. "Many of the Local Officials both Planet Defense and Police were not able to restore many aspects of civil authority after the Sith Invasion, even after the Commenoran Alliance came in, they still had many problems with criminal activities as well as disruptive organizations keeping them busy centralizing on the Trade Ports over housing sectors like these." He looked around at the type of living many of these people were living in, it was hard to really imagine without seeing it. "As such, these areas are ripe with gang activities and residents often pay for protection."

Abigail held the man down firmly until a group soldiers arrived. Slightly reluctant at first, she carefully eyed the soldiers down to ensure they weren't on the preacher's side. She quickly figured they weren't, and was then happy to hand the man over to the others. She couldn't keep him down on his knees like that forever anyway.

Looking around, Abigail saw most of the crowd had already dispersed by now, which was a good thing. Unfortunately, those that had already been riled up by the preacher had already left to do their actions, and they were still in the game, which made them a problem that needed to be taken care of.

Because of this, Abigail's eyes ran over the environment until she spotted [member="Aithne Charr"] . Without making eye contact for too long, Abigail started walking towards the general direction the girl was in. She then stopped walking when she stood beside Aithne, much like how Aithne had first stopped beside Abigail.

"So. You want to tell me who I just brought into -what I can only assume to be- your custody?"

While Abigail was curious to hear what Aithne would answer, she ultimately was waiting to ask her real question, which was whether Aithne would come along with her to try and stop the few madmen who had already left before they intervened. Besides, Aithne had apparently been close to this guy, so she was probably able to tell Abigail what he was preaching about and where he was sending those people.

With the carnage filled arrival of [member="Avin Starfire"], Nunak pushed from the cover and moved out to meet him. More soldiers and insurgents would be about soon if they were not careful. Holding the Equalizer in two hands he called back to their commander as plumes of smoke began to rise from across the city. "General! Evac better get here soon or it will only get worse."

Head on a swivel, the Cathar scanned the enviroment, ready to let loose another volley of bolts at any target. He paused to wave Avin over, giving him a bow of the head. "Thanks for making it, Jedi. Good timing too."

[member="Alyson Halle"] | [member="Colap Ticon"]

"Evac? Evac? That's a funny joke there corporal. The way I see it until that fleet in orbit is sitting in a big pile of dirt we aren't evacuating anywhere." She said as she moved over to one of the droids.

She inspected it, looking for any insignia or marker, and it was pretty clear these were Nemoidian.

"You, Jedi, good work but please, try not to kill people unless you have to; and if you do, try and pay a bit more respect."

The Jedi was good, certainly, but he had a bad habit of dismembering. Killing should not be something a Jedi takes delight in, it should be done with respect and care. Alyson preferred a nonlethal strike or a force stun, and if she had to kill somebody she just drove a blade through his heart and left it at that. Guaranteed to kill and still left a body to recover. The droids were a different story, they could be crushed, sliced, and diced, nobody would mind anyway.

Alyson made her way over to the room she threw the Balmorran leader into and dragged him out rather forcefully. He was crying by the looks of things.

"This is objective number 1, if you have to take a bullet for this guy you better damn well do it or we are all karked. Now we are not getting out of here until that fleet in orbit is gone, lucky for us it appears that Balmorra has a rather well developed orbital gun network. They wouldn't make it too easy for us though, as they are currently controlled by the enemy. Until we get those guns out of enemy hands there will be no evacuation. We aren't in any position to take those guns, so all we get to do is sit here, protect this nerf herder, and shoot anybody who tries to get in our way."

She began to search for an area they could fortify, preferably somewhere without windows, external walls, and preferably within a choke point for multiple defensive layers. She motioned for the rest of them to come along, hoping her authority as general was enough for them to follow. The Leader didn't say a word, he was probably too scared, telling from the urine stain on his pants, she had to hold back her laughter to stop herself from seeming unprofessional.

The enemies were probably holding back to regroup, which was good for them, while she was searching she didn't see a soul. Eventually, she managed to find the remainder of loyalist forces holed up in the armory. After barely avoiding getting shot by them, Alyson decided this was as good a place as any to hold out. There was a large, two-stage barricade, set up well if she had to say so herself. Hold them at layer one, if they get past that they are sitting ducks for machine guns while trying to climb over it.

"Alright boys up and over the barricade, we are gonna be stuck here for awhile."

The inside of the armory was a lot messier, wounded everywhere, medics desperately trying to help the wounded. Alyson would help if she had the time but she was sensing more enemy forces moving in, that took priority for now.

Aithne smiled as Abigail came up beside her, the other girl an interesting one and someone Aithne was having fun watching work. She knew the young woman's master, the woman who was her own Godmother, meaning this girl was connected in a way to Aithne on a far more personal scale. But Abigail did not know that fact and it made Aithne smile knowing that bit of information.

"Well, just some dissident that hated the Republic and his own government. He saw the Republic as weak for allowing aliens into its ranks and was a troublesome individual in the original talks. Thankfully, he did not gather a great deal of followers and was significantly gullible in being pushed into his words being taken to the streets... a few escaped the soldiers though and are very much aggressive." She sighed as she pushed off from the building she had been leaning on.

"And, it is my fault they got away so I cannot stand by this time. I know where each of them are, and if you are up to it, we can hunt these criminals down before they hurt someone with their radicalized minds." She looked at Abigail, waiting for the reply from the other woman.

Alexander raised a hand as the woman spun on her heel and took a stance that could fight him, making him raise his hands with a smile and laugh a bit. He had no intention of causing a situation so he walked the rest of the way like that while she cleared the area with her eyes. Only when he got within arms length and she held out her hand did he drop his hands and smile a bit wider. The young man had a all too kind face with soft eyes and voice carrying the same tone as a Father.

"Alexander. Im a senator for the Republic and was informed of your ships arrival when you were coming in. I had hoped to catch you when you left your ship but I am sadly a poor follower of directions. I got lost several times and only just barely saw you as you were heading out into the streets." The young man scratched the back of his neck as he smiled dumbly at her.

"I was hoping you would help get people ferryed to the Republic ships above, or to the more secure cities nearby. This one is a bit of a warzone and we have many injured civilians and casualties that are in need of more sustained medical treatment. I can personally ensure you are paid for your help and am happy to hire your craft on for future endeavors if you frequent this Sector."

Aeshi stood, tense but listening, as Alexander spoke. He was certainly a politician. Core worlder, that she could see. He lacked the edge and hard-eyes of those that dwelt on the Outer Rim. She nodded as he spoke and then finally shrugged. Passenger cargo? Short-distance between cities and orbit. That would be more than enough for her. Wouldn't even have to refuel for that kind of jaunt. She'd barely need to burn the engine.

"I'll do it," she responded after a moment. She keyed up the wrist-gauntlet and activated the ship's controls. Its engines burst to life and the humming spread beneath her feet. "Get that cargo unloaded!" Aeshi called up the ramp to her droid co-pilot. "Quickly now." She strapped the holsters closed and turned back towards the ramp.

"Give me the data, destinations, and security clearances," she added, speaking to Alexander. "I'll get everyone where they need to be. And well," Aeshi grinned, "I'm in the area fairly often."

Abigail shot [member="Aithne Charr"] a questioning look when she mentioned the Republic.

"You're with the Republic? I have to admit that I've never seen you before."

Although the fact Abigail didn't know Aithne could be something for Abigail to be suspicious about, she was well aware that she was still relatively new. Besides, she knew only a few people anyway.

"But that's good. I'll have to admit. I didn't think you'd actually come along, but I definitely appreciate the help."

It wasn't an insult that Abigail thought Aithne wouldn't help with the rest. Abigail had simply expected Aithne to be with another organisation purely set on getting that preacher. So the fact Aithne was going to help her was more than welcome.

"While I don't agree with the fact that you stood beside the man letting him do his things for so long, that they got away is hardly your fault", she said as she placed her hand on the other woman's shoulder.

"So, you have any idea where they were sent of to?"

Following the @Alysson Halle to the armory, the Cathar remained quiet. With the situation they were in he did as was instructed, to the best of his ability that is. Joining the loyalists in the Armory he began to restock his grenades, taking a few extra for good measure. His gun still had enough juice for at least another engagement, even with how liberally it was used.

With a fresh set of soldiers, and a few extra blasters to go around, munition was not a concern. "We'll make sure this gets done. Hopefully fleet-side can finish their business up quickly, nice and tidy like." Nunak took a moment to look over his gun, spinning the barrels and inspecting its mechanism. The gun itself was sturdy, but it never helped to recheck your equipment.

The corporal began to lick his teeth, removing the bits of cigara he had involuntarily chewed in the lobby, before taking the time to draw another and light it. It was not the healthiest of addictions, and one the Republic Military did not support, but it did help take the edge off of any situation.

The master's words were double-edged the praise of his ability to remove his enemy from the battlefield had become somewhat practiced over the past few years since his re-emergence into the folds of a Jedi order. Had it become all he knew? Was he becoming lazy or even losing a sense of compassion or sympathy for his enemy? It seemed that so often he would stand face to face with a similar foe whether stormtrooper or extremist rebel his response had become less of a thought through strategy and merely the fastest and most efficient approach to dispatching the issue. Yet he had started to forget that the issues were, in fact, living beings and merely of another point of view. It was how he had been trained as a youngling, to hunt down those that choose the path of the dark and to use their own blindness against them. The very philosophy that Avin lived by could be brought into question. Alas right now was not the time or place for internal questions, he could talk to one of the Jedi Master's and take a break from combat duties once this was over.

"I apologize master. I will aim to spare them from now on."

He let his weapon dangle once more on his belt as the survivors clambered through to the armory. Inside was a sense of hope and loss that was so familiar to the Jedi after the great war and the skirmishes on Imahalayan that again he wondered if his sense of reading emotion was becoming impaired. Alas, he landed his abilities with the force to heal wounds where and when he could as well as lifting objects and barricades into position for another attack finally siding once more alongside [member="Nunak"] and [member="Alyson Halle"].

Avin reached out to the force and felt the presence ever encroaching onto their position. The armory was better fortified than conference rooms and hallways but it was still no fort.

"They are coming, stand ready."

Avin let the saber fall to his hand once more, a single blue beam of energy erupting from a port. He adopted the stance of shien and waited with his eyes trained on possible entry points. Deep down a slight sense of anxiety was quickly repressed and taken over by the overwhelming sense of calm and ease that he had been drilled on. Most of all he hoped that the fleet above would finish this once and for all.

"I have them being tracked by these things..." She tossed Abigail a small droid that looked almost like a crab, it activating and crawling to her shoulder.

"It usually hides in the small of the back of its target, so that its not seen as easily. From there it relays to me a constant signal that I can use to track them and their prey in particular. Bit of an boring way to track them, but it works. The Force can be rather unreliable sometimes and I find tech to be just as capable." She started walking, removing a device from her pocket and smiling at Abigail.

"Come along, we can have some more fun and talk while we move." She would head down an alley and keep an eye on her device.

For a few moments, she said nothing and almost seemed to forget about Abigai's question, but eventually did speak again.

"I work for my father, and he keeps me rather busy most of the time. Mix that with myself not exactly using the force in a way that is acceptable by the Jedi leaves me away from things. You probably wont see me too often, but I did enjoy watching the show you put on. So maybe you might." She looked at Abigail, smiling.

"It would seem you have been quite busy in your time on the planet Padawan Kuat, and your analysis is very well done." She thought on the information given and compared it to her own. She rested her eyes on Grayson's student with a small smile touching her face, some pride in the young man.

"You are correct, the planet was ill prepared for being left on its own and has yet to recover and restore order to its surface. The Republic's presence here and its current operations should be doing that, but it has yet to be seen. We will be able to help where we can but sadly we cannot do much more than protect those we come across." She said, an eye casting its way to Cedric and Mereel.

Both were warriors and she knew Mereel in particular was a member of the Republic's military already. The man could operate with authority but Alexandra and Giddean could not, the same for Cedric until things were cleared on where he stood. Alexandra worried at points but she trusted that things would be handled.

"Now, with that said, if we were to come across as situation in which the defense of an innocent was necessary, I believe it is in our right to do something about that Padawan Kuat."

SPACE
Balmorra
Aboard NRV Dawn Star

Objective: Kill enemy fighters
"Action stations, action stations! All hands, this is not a drill!"

He was ready. As soon as the call went out Reaper Squadron and himself were on the fly, running down the short halls, snatching their flight helmets off the racks. What had been a game of cards scattered to the decks.

They were up and into their Cock-pits in mere minutes, with docking claws grabbing the bottom of their X-Wing Fighters, ready to launch. Systems powered up under his fingers, as he roved the dials, flipping switch after switch. Whatever was out there was coming for them, and he wasn't about to have that. Though a newer squadron, they were the hand picked best from the academy. This was their first real engagement as a team.

"Reaper One to All check in."

"Reaper Two a go."

"Three Good."

"Four standing by."

"Copy. Bridge we're good down here, cleared for launch?"

"Standbye........clear."

He hit the the accelerator, and seconds later, four X-Wings Joined the fray, tearing from the flanks of the small Carrier.

Balmorra
The Streets, Near the tagged above

Two weeks fresh from her last assignment, and she was dropped into the chit storm of Balmorra. No team for backup this time, just a blonde with a sharp wit, hungry ambition and gun. Well a few guns. Shotgun strapped to her thigh, combat knife on her back, Sniper Rifle, Carbine and Sidearm to complete it. The best part was her scout drone, bobbing along as they trotted down the street after the fleeing Dark Star Security mercs.

Two of them had been put down with some quick snap shots. Another was getting close.

She raised her pistol, and squinted one eye. The shot was silenced by the can on the end.

PFFFTT

A slug ripped through his spinal cord dropping him. She slowed down, stalking forward while firing a twin pair into the dome to keep them neutralized. Then she ran right into Nunak and Alyson.

"Whoa. Naval Intelligence, Agent Saranai. You mentioned AA guns Ma'am?"

Already a plot boiled in her mind....

Negotiations on Nemodia
Post: ?????

Talks with the Nemodia money head had gone relatively well, seemed having very similar background focused in the merchant business several points could easily be agreed upon. For the moment the council would continue to rule as they had done, just with the presence of Republic military forces keeping guard of the hyperspace routs and air space. For what it seemed a rather welcomed aspect in light of the Sith blockage around Commoner and the apparent ease in how they get to the core through the trade routes.

"Well gentlemen, I believe this preliminary draft is more then substantial enough to welcome your planet into the senate, we may need to conduct extra talks in the future to smooth over the finer detail but for the time being such seems adequate". "Now all that if left is to hear new from the front and see if we cane take Balmorra within the day". Himself looking to become the new senator of such a planet, its large factory and economic foundation would work wonders for his company, also being on a major trade route would be good for business.

Objective: 5. Bring Havoc to Balmorra.

Not long after she returned from the Unknown Regions of space, Ursula stopped in Balmorra. If you want it non CIS hands touching your body to design you the best droid parts in the galaxy, you would have to visit Balmorra, which did wearing the cheap prosthetic arm instead of walking around with only her stomp visible to the naked eye. When she found a true artist, her design proved quite different, for she want it him to make her a arm with songsteel, black as sin itself that could attach her armor parts to hold her stash of guns and toys. Connected with the ExoSkeleton attached to her back, the craftsman made a brilliant work in making that beauty.

Something that she could attach her vambracers and bracers to use her wrist weapons and still could punch someone in the face with enough strength as to smash the front of his face. A energy arm with a repulse hand, without that stupidity of having the skin to cover that mechanical wonder, Ursula swinged her new arm around in the air going all the way back as the did back, laughing out loud and punching the durasteel table with a single blow. Raising her metal hand slowly and watching her fingers perfectly engraved in the metal.

"Told you it was good. Great metal songsteel you brought me. Now… Payment.”, when he said that, Vizla took her own personal disruptor with a single hand, pressing her finger gently against the trigger and blowing him to ashes before he screamed. Laughing as she did it, Ursula found this too be quite funny.

“Now you are dead.”, she madly said to herself laughing, putting her cloak back over her body, grabbing the old arm and walking back to the streets, noticing how much talk she could hear with the implants in her ears about the New Republic or Republic whatever formed from rebels and jedis, were all in Balmorra trying to win over the planet. “Holy Sith… If I go to them... Will they pay me this time?”, last time was on Gree, rebels did not paid her bill and said they could not for they became a part of this new old republic.

Hannah, The Cog Girl
Equipment: VT-Assault Armor Heklor'Kok R-2 Assault Rifle
Objective 2: Take Control of Surface to Space Weapon System's Network Station
Location: 4 Kilometers from Main Objective
Actions: Attempt to Sneak across the Battlefield

Arm forward, legs sprung and with the Force Hannah burst through a rather broken concrete wall, eyes and tail snapped to either side as she scanned around herself. Good. She had managed to not stumble across any unseen hostiles, not that she found herself in a particular decent position but it might had gone terrible with all things considered. She guessed that perhaps the brunt of the enemy forces had moved in preparation for a final assault on their main holdout and forward base.

Hannah stepped forward and raised her left hand upwards and quickly tapped her left cybernetic horn, she tapped out a quick signal, perhaps a tad unconventional with their level of communication but she couldn't let her comms to ping on anyone's sensors. Slight and quick comms won't even register a blip. She figured even if they did, none would be wiser to figure out that it was more than static or interference from all the metal and destruction going around them.

The Republic needed a small shock force to break into the Orbital Weapon's Network station here. With the assistance of the Surface to Orbit weaponry perhaps whatever remained of their own fleet could finally push back the enemy fleet and give the ground forces some much needed air support. Hannah continued on forward, with her enhanced senses she would be able to located and scout for a different path. Hannah had not be assigned to fight off an entire army, she had been tasked to clear out the Network Station and help out their forces in space.

Her servos silently whirled, the armor heavy and her fight today had just begun, but Hannah saw her goal. I feel no fatigue, I feel no pain. I am ready. Her hands remained free and her rifle steady on her back, the moment she needed to use her main weapon it would spell a failed mission. She can't allow herself to get bogged down in any fights with her enemy until she reached her objective.

Cosan had been sent to deal with the Network station just as his cybernetic counterpart had, but like with several other situations, he had not known about Hannah's orders or anyone else's. He had been sent to take it down so that his superior's fleet could drop in and deal with any hostile space and air targets. It was for that reason that he was yawning as he had been put on patrol for those people holding down the Network station, working as a spy in their ranks. It would not be long before the shift change and he could get close to the hub.

The young man sighed, his eyes hurting and forcing him to retrieve a small case with a pair of glasses in it, looking through them and blinking to get his eyes refocused, finding himself seeing something coming up towards the area. He blinked again and watched while the person continued this way and he from his hidden area sighed, figuring this was some random revolutionary who wasn't thinking and thought they could help the Republic on their own. The thought that she was sent for the mission did not even cross his mind, as he had thought he was the only one.

So he sighed and started to crawl out of his hidden hole, sighing and rubbing his neck as he came out with arms raised and grinning a large stupid smile.

"You realize walking right up to them will just get you killed right?"

With her hand now outstretched she pressed against yet another wall, no electronics and the wall in front of her only consisted of concrete and some rebar. Weakened structure, with thirty percent of my right arm's strength it should break open. Her hand clenched into a fist and with mild concentration Hannah whirled up her servos and with some help of the Force she began to punch through another wall to get to her objective. Speed counted for a lot right now, and nothing an inanimate wall would stop her from moving forward. As quickly as she readied herself, she stopped mid through her motions to swerve around and take notice of a new voice.

Hannah tilted her head slightly to her right as scanned the man that had addressed her, without any real expression she spoke flatly "-The enemy is preparing to finish off our last of our hold outs, and this route is the quickest way to the Network Station." She explained a bit matter of factually before she turned to face the wall she intended to break open.

As she raised her fist once again, she stopped and turned to face the man once again, "-Do you know of a faster way into the Network Hub?" Hannah asked. If the man had intended to stop her, a blaster would had been a first choice instead of talking, so since it appeared he was assigned similarly to Hannah's mission, she figured it would do her best to hear the man out. "-If so, I do appreciate any assistance to achieve my mission." Hannah added, a quick bow towards the man as she awaited for his response.

He looked her over and raised a brow as he got a better look at her features, seeing a being with odd mechanical additions that made her seem more like one of those androids people had running around to handle administrative duties. He wondered how she planned to get to the server room alone when her appearance would have tipped off someone that she did not belong. With a sigh he reached over to point at where he had been.

"Come with me, there is a tunnel that leads into the compound and as far as those inside know I am one of them. I can get you through and act as escort so that you can quickly reach the server room. From there we can take out the network."

Without the network they would not need to wait long until air support and strike teams could seize the compound. It would just mean they need to sabotage the systems and get out of there. A very quick series of events would follow soon after before anyone knew what was happening.

"Or do you intend to continue your one man assault?"
