Saber or the Force (Matsu Ike)

[member="Matsu Ike"]

As Spencer had made it to the bottom there was a rocks all around, half buried in the ground. As he made his way to his feet and dusted himself off Master Ike was right there next to him. "Alright Master, here we go." Spencer focused on the rocks as he put his right arm up connecting to the rocks with the force pulling them up into the air. It wasn't very steady but the rocks began to rise. They were only small rocks and were not connected to anything larger so Spencer gently placed them back on the ground, well gently enough. As he moved closer to the ground he slowly lost control of the grip on the rocks allowing them to fall back into place.

He moved on to some more buried rocks. He tried again, but this time it was much harder. He had his hand out pulling at the rocks with all the force he could muster, but nothing. The rock moved slightly but wouldn't go into the air. Spencer outstretched both arms putting every piece of his mind into it pulling the rocks up as best he could. The rock began to move up but it didn't seem to be so small. The piece showing above ground was only the tip, there was a huge column underneath it. Spencer did his best but couldn't pull it any further than 20-30cm from the ground before he had to let if fall back into place. "Master, it would move any further. Any tips on how to get it to move any better?"

Matsu was watching him and she looked around as she lightly hovered to not disturb the stones and rocks. This was a good test as she stood down next to him and observed how skilled he was already before she was bringign her hands out and reaching into the force with a nod. "You are doing well, remember your breathing and that the force is all around you. You can draw it into your body from the air and slowly was reaching until the entryway was exposed showing the doors. before she was still lifting at it and stomped her foot with earth braces appearing to hold it in place. "We'll head inside and the earth shaping can keep it up, move quickly and get to work on those doors."

Watching the expertise of Master Ike was special for Spencer, seeing how it is done was a great help. The tips that she gave Spencer also helped greatly, not only for this exercise but in general, how to better focus the force was a great help. "Thank you Master, it means a lot." He replied as the entrance was exposed after Master Ike lifted what seemed to be small rocks into the air allowing the entrance to reveal itself. With Master Ike's earth shaping the entrance was now stable and would not disappear into the ground again, but there was another problem, the big doors that sat at the entrance.

Spencer focused the force on the door lifting his hand up facing his palm at the door. Breathing in and out steadily before pushing with all the force in him the door began to swing away. It was opening and the discovery had been made. As only one of the doors had opened he once again used the force to open the other door also.

Matsu continued to work and sh had a small grin on her face while she was moving forward with her attention on a few of the stones to hold them. She was moving towards the entrance with the padawan and bringing her hand up as she started pulling at the light in the area. A small ball of sunlight appearing in her hand as it hovered over her palm and she spoke entering. "Very impressive, your stamina is good which is a great thing. It will allow you to do a lot as we move forward." She had a wider grin lighting up the area as they were heading in further with a small look to the different images on the walls. The sections of the ruins able to be seen while she was lookig at the ancient mirrors reflecting the light to brighten up the pathway.

Spencer managed to get both doors open as Master Ike captured the sunlight in a sphere above her palm to act as a light in the ruins. "Thank you Master, it is something I have worked on over the years." Spencer was fit, strong male and thus allowing him to sustain long periods of hard work and effort even through the force. The amount of force wielding he had done today was starting to take its toll, but he managed to walk it off as he entered the ruins. As he looked at the markings on the wall it was quite interesting. "Wow this is quite interesting, right in our own backyard... Do you know what these images mean?" Spencer asked as he looked at the carvings in the wall, feeling the indents and the quality of the cut. It was a work of art, even though it seemed to be quite some years old.

She was looking at him now and then at the walls. "We have a great many things on Voss that goes ignored. Most choose to stay near the temple or just in the courtyards. They ignore the wonder that is their own world." She kept her attention on the images touching them while she was walking. "These are talking about jedi who came to fight here long ago. That." She pointed to one of the images and tapped it. "Is the first blade used by the order to battle the dangerous darksiders. As far as most know it hasn't been seen in near five thousand years when it was lost from Tython." She didn't say she had been searching to try and find it the ancient symbol of the jedi. "And if that is the first blade then that." She was pointing to the black stone. "Would be the Kashi Mur talisman, an ancient artifact of the darkside." She kept moving and looking at the images while they were in the ruins. "I know the jedi and others have battled on Voss but this is quite a nice find. There might be something here to point the way to either artifact."

A ruin of the Light and Dark side... Truly marvellous. Spencer listened in ore of what Master Ike was saying. They had discovered something truly remarkable here. "I understand Master Ike, I too was like that before this journey. Its really opened my eyes about what is hidden in the planet I live in." Spencer replied as he gazed at the first blade of the Order. It was amazing. Spencer had found something so remarkable by chance. Was it luck, or is Voss full of remarkable discoveries yet to be found. "A first blade of the Order and the Kashi Mur Talisman of the darkside. Side by side... Remarkable." Spencer was quite astounded by the discovery. "Shall we keep moving Master, imagine the hidden wonders that lurk inside."

"Not quite together, but on opposite sides of a fight. The real question is what will we find deeper in here." She was moving and looking towards some of the ruins while the pathways gave way to a room with tapestries and vases. Her glowball reflecting on the mirror illuminating the area before she was moving with her attention towards the area. "This is the place I saw in the images, whatever was down here the force wanted us to find should be here. Start searching but be careful these might be heritage tapestries."

Heeding the warning of his Master Spencer was very careful and made sure not to touch anything, no matter what. The trip into the ruin had just begun and they had already made some great discoveries. "You've seen this place before? What imaged did you see of here?" Spencer asked as he moved around the room, carefully placing his feet making sure he didn't disturb anything in the room.

"When we were in the caves, the images from the mirror was reflected for a time here. It is how I felt it out to find it. It is an old ability that taps you into the heart of a world you allows you to know what is on its surface." She continued to work and look around the room stopping near a large mirror that showed her reflection looking through the rest of the room. The soft hum and glow coming in the light while she was searching and moved aside a bolt of cloth as she worked pulling at and bringing up a protosaber and then a cream colored box with runs along the outside that formed images. "Oh a puzzle box, we found some of these on Seoul and Tython before."

[member="Matsu Ike"]

"Ahh that is quite an amazing ability Master." He replied moving over towards her position. As Master Ike walked over to a mirror he could see the reflection of the wall on the other side of Master Ike, nothing of his Master, just the wall... He was certain he did not block her vision of the room behind her as she looked through the reflection of the room they had just walked through.

As she moved on from the mirror she stepped over to a table that sat next to the mirror, immediately she had made a discovery. First an old protosaber, one of the first types of lightsabers made. George was fascinated by the size of it and how far the technology had came in order to make the power pack into something so small. As Master Ike looked over the protosaber she noticed a small box with images carved into the side. A puzzle box? Spencer thought to himself looking at the box in his Masters hands. "What is a puzzle box Master?" He asked looking at the nice box there wondering what could be inside it and the purpose of such a box.

"Well you got to open it to find out." She was looking at him while fiddling with it and moving around the room looking. "One that we found had some images in it of a family, another had a lightsaber from one master to another." It really could be anything and she was still looking around the room with some more bolts of cloth here and there were discarded. She was looking around while showing some more of it. "THis could be used as a nice place to have a small outpost for resting across the planet." Her attention went to a seat and sitting there with the dut coming up as she coughed a little with a small grin on her face. "A good place to train your senses for detecting things in the dark and relic hunting."

"Ah I see, so there are no specific items found in them. More like a person lock box to keep your stuff in. Are they difficult to get open?" Spencer replied as moved away over to some of the other tables that were only just touched by the light Master Ike was creating. All the tables were covered in cloth with large bumps and hills underneath. What could be there is endless... Artifacts, crystals, memoirs, books. It was endless the amount of items that could be hidden under the cloth. As he picked up the corner of the cloth he slowly moved it off the table. The dust that had originally settled there puffed up into Spencer's nose making him sneeze a few times before he could finish. As the last of the cloth was removed some interesting items were revealed. A book in another language, he had no idea what it was but it was dusty and old. Next he found some sort of amulet on a silver chain. It was an amazing find, but Spencer had no idea on what it all meant.

"Yeah it is a box and they can be it depends on how hard they made the combination." She was looking at it and some of the other stuff while working on the box. "Did you find anything good?" There was a smile on her face though as the box clicked and one of the locks opened showing the runes along it as she started working on another side of it. "Or sometimes it just depends on how much they like to frustrate you." She was laughing to herself and recalled working on some of the boxes in the jedi tombs they had explored.

Spencer couldn't really describe the unique amulet other than it was very silver with a silver chain. The symbols on it were way out of Spencers league and he had no idea what it was, or what it could do. "Ah I see Master, but seems you've got the touch for it." Spencer replied as the lock on the box popped which could be heard across the room. "I've found an amulet, it doesn't seem to make sense to me, there are symbols on it much they don't read in any language I know." He replied trying to identify the symbols to at least find a symbol he had seen before.

She looked at the amulet and the padawan while she checked it out and ran her thumb over the ridges while she spoke. "It is not a bad thing, might have been important to someone. One of the kiffar's could tell you more likely." She was working on the box without looking at it while her fingers were nimbly touching it. Then there was a clock as she rose up and pulled another thing over to her. "I would say take what seems interesting, you never know if this stuff will be used or just put in a drawer somewhere in the temple. I.." She trailed off as the box opened to the sound of wind and music almost playing. The soft green glow from inside bringing her attention as she raised up a cube shaped holocron and held it in her hand. "Will be making sure to study this."

Listening to Master Ike Spencer picked up the amulet putting it in his bag for safe keeping until he could speak to someone that might be able to give him the answers for it. "Sounds good to me Master." He replied moving around the room before being distracted by the green light coming from the box Master Ike managed to open. "That is awesome Master. I would like to be around when you look into that if I may." He asked as he could feel the aurora coming from the small cube.

"That can be arranged." She was looking at him and then at the cube while moving it to a desk with one hand going over it. The green glow getting brighter as it shifted and the small runes showed on the side. Holographic display coming to life and as it swirled and started showing maps of the solar system... Not this one, she recognized the planet of Dromuund Kaas and the others before she was moving it to show the cloak of the sith and regions she had gotten charts to from Jorus. Several marked locations outside it and around their area before it adjusted with more information coming on the screen in several languages. "Looks like a collection of charts and locations."

[member="Matsu Ike"]

Smiling with Master Ikes reply it was great to know he could witness the beautiful artifact. As Master Ike moved her hand over the cube it activated, opening up and unavailing a map or sorts. Concentrating around Dromuund Kaas, it seemed to be a map of the Sith controlled areas. "Is it a Sith owned?" He asked as many of the markings related to the sith and their sphere of influence.

She looked up. "Hard to say, there is no gatekeeper telling me the lightside is weaker then the dark. They love that and putting their spirits into their holocrons. This seems more like a collection but will have to look deeper." She couldn't be certain after all but she had seen utility holocrons before they might not teach you secrets but they did have their uses with maps and locations. This one seemed to be showing old republic places with the dates and they could explore those worlds covertly. Probes were made for a reason after all.
