"Knight Re'dsh'irt go with her and help. Don't want to lose a padawan on this mission." The knight in red robes with red skin and red hair went after Daella with gusto. He only had two more days until he was retired from the order. Syn turned and looked at Iella moving down the hallway.

Shuttles began flying in as reinforcements, carrying heavily armored squads of Iron Company.
On the Jedi commlinks came transmission from HK who led the assault squads
"This is Commander of the Iron Company, First Baron Iron Knight, coming in with assault squads of Omegan troopers as requested. Requesting contact with Jedi Master Syn. When do you want our troopers, Jedi Master, over?"
He was on one of the shuttles, prepared to enter the combat himself, wearing his ceremonial heavy armor, dual vibroswords, bolter, shatterpistol and heavy blaster pistol, and his training lightsaber among with a collection of grenades.

He was on one of the shuttles, prepared to enter the combat himself, wearing his ceremonial heavy armor, dual vibroswords, bolter, shatterpistol and heavy blaster pistol, and his training lightsaber among with a collection of grenades.
As Daella rushed down the hall, she came across a group of four pirates in fortified positions. The largest was a Wookiee clad in heavy armor with a bowcaster. Another was a Duro with a blaster rifle. The two other pirates were human scoundrels with blaster pistols.
Just as the pirates began to rain fire upon the Padawa, Daella ducked behind a column that managed to shield her from their fire.
Knight Re'dsh'irt eventually turned down the same corner and found himself in danger as well. He ignited his blue lightsaber and managed to deflect several bolts. He noticed Daella behind the pillar and sought to reach her.
Using his skills, Re'dsh'irt managed to deflect one blast back to the pirates. He struck one of the two human pirates – ultimately killing him. Enraged, the Wookiee emerged from behind cover and charged for the Knight.
Re'dsh'irt continued to press on. Having been told to protect Daella, he resolved to do so to his last breath.
In an almost panicked voice, Re'dsh'irt yelled out to Daella, “Run! Go back to Master Syn!”
Before Daella could act, the Wookiee was already upon Re'dsh'irt. The Knight was then in a dilemma: he could either run or take a swing at the Wookiee. Flee would jeapordize Daella while attacking the Wookiee would open himself to be killed by incoming blaster fire.
Resolving to fulfill his duty, Re'dsh'irt stabbed the Wookiee in the lower abdomen. The Wookiee roared and stumbled back. Death would not have been instantaneous, but the Wookiee would have been inhibited from pursuing Daella.
A blaster bolt from the Duro then struck Re'dsh'irt in the torso. His lightsaber deactivated and fell to the ground. After dropping to his knees, Re'dsh'irt turned back to see Daella still by the column. Her eyes were wide – filled with shock.
With a gentle smile, Re'dsh'irt tossed his lightsaber back to Daella.
“Go,” he said to her in almost a whisper.
Then, he was silenced by one more shot from the Duro – this time to the head.
The hall remained quiet for several seconds. Daella peered from the column to see Re'dsh'irt's body. Her usually stoic face was disturbed only by her broadened eyes.
“I'm sorry,” she muttered under her breath.
Resolving to act against Re'dsh'irt's wishes, Daella deactivated her training saber and snapped it to her magnetic clip on her belt. Her eyes narrowed on the Re'dsh'irt's lightsaber on the ground just a meter from her. Then, Daella rolled toward it.
Without hesitation, the pirates began to spew a barrage of fire on Daella. The Padawan managed to recover the lightsber in less than a second and ignite it just before the first bolts touched her. She hurriedly deflected the blasts to the side.
Still alive, the Wookiee began to stir once more. The wound to his stomach inhibited him from moving much, yet he got back up on his feet and lunged toward Daella.
Now armed with a lethal weapon, Daella quickly disposed of the Wookiee. She ducked under his massive arms. The pirates ceased to shoot their blasters as one of their comrades stood in the line of fire.
Gripping the lightsaber with both hands, Daella swung the lightsaber horizontally across the Wookiee's chest. The armor gave way to the plasma blade. The Wookiee died at that instance. Daella then rushed out from under the Wookiee before its body could fall on top of her small body.
In a frenzy, the pirates flooded the hallway with blaster fire. Moving toward them while also just barely deflecting blaster bolts heading toward her, Daella rushed toward the pirates without a scratch. She hugged the wall to her left side.
Once she was several meters from the pirates, Daella stepped on the wall with her left foot for a second. Pushing off of it, this propelled her up into the air. The confused pirates were unable to follow her as she tumbled above them and landed just behind them.
Standing next to the last human pirate, Daella slashed the lightsaber across to behead him. Her face remained still as stone.
Sparing no time, Daella then dashed at the sole surviving pirate – the Duro that killed Re'dsh'irt. In a flash, she plunged the lightsaber into his check before he could point his blaster rifle at her.

There was much to do and at this moment he looked to Iella. "I agree, there will be more of them ahead."

Aedan Miles watched anxiously as his fighters lanced into the enemies formation their weapons firing as they flashed through followed by heavy fire on the left hand side from the larger ships. He gripped the command table as he watched calmly following their movements and dives with ever growing anger they weren't at top form. He finally turned and walked calmly from the bridge making his way to the hangar where he vaulted into the cockpit of his own fighter starting to power it up as he lifted off and headed out of the hangar and lancing quickly away from the ship throwing in some of his signature maneuvers as he started to fire his lasers at the enemy fighters constantly.

The dropships came down with exchange of heavy fire and the flashed of their deflector shields.
They hit the dusty ground in the vacuum with the raise of a cloud of grey sand.
The shuttle door opened as the heavily armored troopers advanced, their air-sealed armor with oxygen supply keeping them from dying in the vacuum.
They were led by the heavily armored, tall figure of the droid commander. He moved calmly, calculated, his weapons ready, hanging over his bodies as he commanded simply through the Omegan frequencies.
"Engineering teams forward."
The soldiers with fusion cutters and detpacks designed for a breach moved forward, beginning to cut their way and to finish the touch with well-placed explosives for the insertion and beginning of the assault.

Justice still needed to be served and this was not the time to morn that will be done later, duty first... always.

The other she summon the force .. the build up of energy surging through her hand and she sent it in a release toward the enemy, the force push knocking them against the wall. Some knocked out but not all.

After his speech most of the troopers seemed to be at east, joking lightly with their companions while checking their equipement for faults. But there was still a tension in the air, hostility emanating from the Catharian Warrior sitting in the back of the shuttle. He knew he had to establish a base of trust between the mercenary and his troops. When you are in battle you have to trust upon your comrades to have your back. The moment you are too busy worrying about the lad next to you to hold his line, you are already dead meat. This was one of the lessons his father had imprinted into him.
"You, Catharian. I have heard you are a mighty warrior with dozens of victories under your belt. Care to share one of your exploits with us? We still have 20 minutes before arrival and we sure can use a story to boil our blood before the assault."
At once he knew he made the right decision, most of the troopers seized their conversations and turned their gaze to the mercenary, eagerly awaiting a tale from one veteran to another. Michael hoped that the Catharian would seize this chance to put everyones mind at ease before the coming battle, the mercenary's reason to be here might only be the money. But even he should know your life can depend on the trust of your fellow comrades.

Aedan Miles was once more in his area of expertise the fighter he flew seeming to dance through space and around ships. He had 2 squardrons tailing him to support his fire. As they came around the hulk of one of the ruined vessels and directly towards the enemies capital ships Aedan's eyes widened. The Dragon's Roost was to far out and under fire. With a growl he changed course the other fighters coming around with him spreading out to make harder targets and supply clear firing lanes. As the flashed towards the ship firing on Aedan's flagship he started to fire lasers and releasing a proton torpedo.

As Kad began to get comfortable, the Jedi leading this strike team decided to try to boost morale by asking the Mandalrian to tell war stories. Kando raised his eyebrows in surprise then chuckled. "'Lek, I'm pretty good at what I do but I'm young so stories of great battles don't come so easily." Kando suddenly snapped his fingers as he remembered something worth telling. "Ahh there was the battle of Keldabe. I was charged to lead the defense of the ion cannons.... or something of the sort. What felt like the whole of Deathwatch tried to take that facility. Things went to haraan when they breached the perimeters but the cavalry-" he pointed to Michael "And some space wizards like you came in to save the day. If memory serves I was shot 3 times, and had my armor completely destroyed by a.... What do you jetisse call it.... A force storm before I was shipped out. Then Deathwatch dropped a nuke and temporarily ruined my business." Kando grinned at the Republic troops before him. "good times, eh?"

The fusion cutters left melted traces on the surface of the blast doors as they cut through, combat engineers knew well what they were doing. Finishing their jobs and planting the detpacks, they looked back to HK, nodding.
He nodded back in acknowledgement as he took out his lightsaber in one hand and bolter "Hammer Upon Enemy" in his other, the soldiers took cover as he ordered
"Blow it."
With that there were muffled flashes and explosives, this happening in vacuum after all, as the door flew back into the compound, immediately, blaster fire erupted, subsiding at first as the pirates who were not properly equipped for vacuum were sucked out and met a rather unfortunately end.
"Go."
HK's voice echoed through the commlinks as he moved his lightsaber, deflecting blaster bolts out of his way and back at the pirates who shot them, salves of Omega's blasters returned the favor as the assault teams advanced behind them.
His lightsaber was like a flurry, barely seen in its quick movements yet always there to send a bolt back, the fruit of HK's advanced vessel combined with his abilities as a Bladedancer. When all of the troopers went inside, HK gave out another command
"Shut the emergency blast door."

Well a huge metal door flying at his enemies and then them being sucked out into vacuum of space was much more flashy and looked better. Soon, the metal cover descended down as the pressure was equalized and they were ready to proceed further down.

Michael had to laugh at @[member="Kad Kando"] story, it was not exactly what he had in mind but judging by the laughs the story was getting it worked well enough. And with that he could cleary feel the tension recede in the atmosphere, with good moral they had a bigger chance of getting out of this alive.

Kad nodded simply, glad that his little tale would get the jetii out of his mane for a bit. He slipped on crushgaunts and slapped a magazine in his slugthrower. He mentally prepared himself for the coming action. "[SIZE=10pt]Ib'tuur jatne tuur ash'ad kyr'amur[/SIZE][SIZE=10pt]", Kad said quietly. Finally the Cathar slid his helmet on and became a faceless warrior yet again.[/SIZE]
